Ascot unleashed his Shotlock which indeed hit King Candy, but didn't seem to effect him as he just stormed through it. Maybe King Candy has just a strong will and wanted Ralph to be dead, or maybe the attack just couldn't get through a Cy-Bug's armor. The giant Cy-Bug-human-Heartless-candy hybrid stormed further until Ascot unleashed his Sonic Blade on him, the attack halted him from moving as he got caught up in the attack. Once the attack was over he prepared to perform a powerful scratch, his claw glowed up green.

"Ascot!" Belle shouted, immediately followed by her next command "Stop!" the spell immediately went into action and halted Turbo from moving any further for a few seconds. This allowed Ascot to land his next attack, Holy, a powerful light spell. Pillars of light magic emerged from the ground and hit Turbo, nothing however happened yet. When the Stop spell wore off King Candy received the damage of the Holy spell and landed on the ground. Now that Turbo was laying on the ground Belle immediately performed a Blitz on him, hitting three times after each other on his hard shell. Turbo screeched and stood up again. "Y-you little brats wi- p-p-p-pay for this!" he said in a way as if he was buffering.

"Just a little more guys! The ground is almost about to break!" Ralph shouted as he punched the ground one more time. Belle rushed towards King Candy but was slammed away by him, luckily her aerial recovery prevented her from hitting the ground. The Cy-Bug then headed to Ascot once again lunching with two glowing claws at him.

Jake began hacking into the back of the Cy-Bug Queen. It would take some time to reach her 'heart' or core however one would want to call it. But with the Reflect Carbuncle had cast on everyone the lasers wouldn't be too much of a trouble. They just had to be sure that the shield didn't take too much damage, as it would disappear when it reached the maximum of damage they could reflect. Thomas's combination of Blizzard and Fire spells were effective. Along with the powerful blasts of Calhoun's gun the tentacles would fall off one by one, that is if Thomas would be aiming for them.

Jake would continue chopping into the Cy-Bug Queen's back and finally reached her weak point. If Jake would simply destroy it the Cy-Bug Queen would lose her power and fall down on the ground. All of her green glowing lights would go out and the now empty dusk would fall on the ground. However it would be going right for Amaya and Vanellope. The Reflect shield couldn't handle the immense weight of the Cy-Bug Queen. "Amaya!" Vanellope hugged Amaya and didn't say anything else. At times like these it showed that after all Vanellope was just a little girl. But who could blame her, if nothing were to be done the body of the biggest Cy-Bug would crush them.

It seemed that the group's teamwork had improved; Ascot and Belle moving in tandem to slowly break King Candy. Of course, the villain would not be defeated without a fight, and he swiftly counterattacked, directing his efforts at Ascot, who, still hasted, carefully dodged the glowing claws, although he was running out of techniques. That meant that he was going to have to use his sword skills.

His Keyblade slashed and struck from unepected angles, while his free hand cast Fira, his remaining spell. If King Candy struck again, the boy would use Reflara, all the while positioning himself between the enemy and Ralph. He then noticed; Holy did have an effect on King Candy; perhaps that technique was useful after all!

Amaya moved out of the last of the lasers as she kept crouched waiting for some more panting slightly, She gasped feeling vanellope's arms wrap around her neck while she heard her name called before she noticed a change in light as she looked up "Oh my....Vanellope....We need to run..."She shouted calling tinkerbell back, so amaya didn't lose so much energy. she took a deep breath looking around "chocolate melts..."She whispered before using some of her blizzara spells and her fire spells to make a small hole infront of them. She looked up occassionally at the bug and the last possible moment She jumped into the good side dent in the ground, putting vanellope first then her. she wrapped her body around the small girl. Amaya Shut her eyes before she let out a scream as the bug came down on the both of them.. as alll amaya could remember last as a loud crash and a roar from the beast as the body crashed above them.

Amaya didn't even enter the hole. Just as she dived in with Vanellope a CoD opened up and she would appear back in the world just a slight distance from the now dead Cybug Queen, Joshua catching her and Vanellope as they came out. He had sat this battle out, watching Amaya the entire time to see how well she would do and ready to jump in at a moments notice if she got into too much trouble. He was rather impressed by how she handled herself but had to admit, combat was not her specialty. When he saw the cybug collapse on top of her, he almost had a heart attack, but was so relieved when he appeared out of the CoD safe and sound.
"That settles it, I'm sticking to you like glue." He said, giving her a tight hug" I almost died watching that, you hear me. I almost DIED."

Amaya expected to feel crushed but then she felt something catch her and vanellope. She opened her eyes to see Joshua before feeling a tight hug "I was fine though... I had something dear to this world to protect... their princess...their true ruler vanellope"she commented before hearing his comment of almost dying from her display "well I don't have a glider to use and I am happy you are sticking closer to me"she commented letting vanellope down before hugging him back staying in his arms "I worn out from using spells and both summons near back to back" she said

Thomas spun, dove, and weaved on his glider, dodging lasers as they came in while he shot back with Blizzard and Fire at the Cybug queen. A few did deflect off his shield, ricocheting into the ground or off into the sky, but for the most part he did a decent job of making sure he wasn't in a position where he would have gotten hit by a blast. He didn't have a shield most of the time after all, so better to act like it wasn't there. With the shots from Calhoun's gun added to it, tentacles began to fall away one by one, mostly those he aimed for though.

It was an eternity and yet not at all before Jake managed to smash his way through to the core on the things back, destroying the Cy-Bug Queen at last. Thomas was about ready to celebrate their victory, as the thing dropped lifelessly towards the ground, when another problem presented itself. Namely, the fact that Amaya and Vanellope were right underneath the thing. The Reflect shattered like paper under the weight of the thing, and though Amaya moved to get them to safety, it probably wouldn't be enough. Mentally cursing, Thomas prepared to dive in, to get them out of the way with his Glider before the giant body could impact.

Fortunately, he wouldn't have to, as in mid dive Amaya and Vanellope were swept away by a Corridor of Darkness, earning a resulting twinge from Thomas's dark wound, and appearing nearby, with Joshua. Now, Thomas was fine with the rescue itself. In fact, him starting out on this journey would have done the same thing. Swoop in, be the Big Damn Hero, get the girl, something like that. But now, he was a little angry, one could say.

The Queen dead, Thomas flew over to join the ongoing conversation, batting away a few Cy-Bugs that came in to attack him. "Hey Joshua, how nice of you to join us. I trust you had a good rest while the rest of us were fighting to make sure this world wasn't devoured wholesale by an army of alien bugs.' He idly wondered if maybe that had been a bit too sarcastic, but at this point he didn't really care. Joshua was a big boy, he could handle it.

With Neo Bahamut 's powerful wings he was easily able to shield Reno/Oner from any lasers that happened to head in their direction as he continued to easily slash, stomp, and bash away Cy-Bugs and Heartless with same said wings as well as his mighty claws, his feet serving to crush any Cy-Bugs that had the misfortune of being beneath the mighty dragon when he stomped the ground that they were on. Both Reno and Oner were focusing upon recharging their Mana a bit more quickly with their Meditation ability, doing nothing but that while Neo Bahamut took care of any Cy-Bugs that came after them while they sat upon the dragon's shoulder.

Soon enough Reno shot up from sitting position, floating in standing now on, or in Reno's case a tiny bit above, the dragon's shoulder. One more Giga Flare with an added twist would hopefully destroy enough of these Cy-Bugs to help the others. Energy began to gather in Bahamut's mouth now as Reno first added the power of his own Dark Mega Flare to the mix, Oner manifesting and contributing a Diaja before Reno re-manifested after that. Now the energy that was building was emanating both darkness and light from it at the same time. Soon enough the mighty dragon reared its head backwards and, with a mighty roar that sounded forth from all around, unleashed the powerful attack on a very large horde of Cy-Bugs below.

Needless to say, the resulting blast took the rest of both Oner and Reno's Mana away despite the fact that they had just recharged since they gave the dragon all that they had remaining to power up the already very powerful Giga Flare even more. A mighty blast that was infused with darkness and light tore through the air and slammed into the earth below, creating a mighty explosion that could probably be not only seen from far away, but sensed from far away as well by those who could sense either magical energy, darkness, and/or light.

After that Neo-Bahamut's body glowed with a red light before vanishing, Reno now manifested as he floated back down to the ground and landed next to Bahamut who was in his human form. His mask from before was now a darker red color instead of the normal blue and he simply stood behind Oner now, who with his Keyblade began batting away any Cy-Bugs that came towards him that happened to either survive or avoid the powerful Giga Flare, the pair now traveling and hoping to make it to where the others were now, Bahamut not fighting in his human form, but instead just simply dodging any attacks that came his way. He was silent the entire time, not making a sound at all.

Eventually Oner did meet up with the others, running towards them, Bahamut right behind him. "Is everyone alright?" He asked as he approached Thomas and the others.

"Well, you always seemed mopey when I steal the spotlight from you. So instead of doing so again, which I undoubtedly would, I decided to give you a chance to shiny Tommy boy." Joshua said, his tone a bit on the mocking side" Besides, I also needed to keep an eye on Amaya while she fought and doing that while fighting a giant insect would prove to be rather difficult, wouldn't you think? So I just let you go on your marry way and let you have fun while I just sat back and watched incase she needed help.

When she did I jumped in. That satisfy you?"

amaya stayed quite when joshua and thomas spoke to eachother before she got out of joshua's arms moving over to oner "yeah nearly got crushed by the big bug over there as joshua saved me with a COD but i kept vanellope safe...I was more worried about you all...I am happy your alright...oh and I think our usual two love to argue once again"She said to reno not getting between thomas and joshua as she knew that might result in a even biger fight as thomas might say something bad to her and piss joshua off more and oh man that was not a fight she wanted

Jake wound up his axe arm before bringing Kaiser Leo full force down on the Queen's core, using the mighty Icewolf Bite to crush through any defenses the heart may have had. With a mighty slash, he tore through the Queen's core, effectively killing the monstrous Cy-Bug and bringing her down. The impact knocked him around, causing his teeth to rattle and his head to smack against the inside of the hard carapace. He didn't hear the Queen hit the ground as much as felt it; a thunderous explosion and a powerful tremor shaking the carcass.

When the world stopped spinning, he got up groggily and punched his way out of the dead bug.

"I tell ya," he said to nobody in particular, "the last time I found myself punching my way out of a giant dead bug... erm, maybe not with the kids around..."

He was wiping off the dead Cy-Bug gunk when he noticed Thomas and Joshua giving each other death glares.

"Hey, hey, easy, you two. We're all on the same side here, right? Taking down the monsters was a group effort, and it wasn't easy. Thomas did a great job helping me take down the Queen, and Joshua was helping someone else. We all had a job to do, and we did it well. I mean, come on, guys, we're all amigos, right?"

It seemed his complaint had succeeded in getting some reaction from Joshua, even though it only succeeded in rankling Thomas further by his statement that if he had been involved he would have inevitably overshadowed everyone else, as if that was some certainty. The mocking tone certainly didn't help, and he could feel a growing anger towards the other boy, in excess of how he usually felt about these things, the urge to punch him in the face growing irresistibly stronger.

Fortunately, the explosion in the sky from Reno's Giga Flare's provided a welcome distraction, even if it served to somewhat emphasis Joshua's point in a way. Thomas let out a low whistle, impressed, as his gaze turned to the light in the sky, before returning to Joshua, aware of Oner's approach but ignoring him for the moment. "I don't need favors from you," he spat back, anger flaring somewhat back. The used nickname didn't help. "And I don't get mopey. Whoever has the spotlight doesn't matter as long as we defeat whatever's attacking us at the moment. Weren't you all gung ho to kick King Candy's face in until like five minutes ago? The rest of us were, are, out here fighting to make sure this world isn't consumed by an army of mutant bug things. So no, I'm not satisfied."

He turned away from Joshua, lest he act on the urge to be violent, his head somewhat pounding from an imminent headache, as he looked over to Jake, who had a nice coating in candy Cy-bug juice or whatever. "Yeah, sure," he replied somewhat bitterly to Jake's placating attempts before moving away. He, unlike everyone else, was going to make sure that those currently fighting King Candy were doing alright. Because he actually cared. At least, that was what he told himself.

There was a slight pause as he saw another figure behind Oner, that drew his curious eye. He couldn't help but wonder where the guy had come from. "Um, Oner, who is that," he asked, anger fading away via curiosity, a bit.

Apparently there was some sort of discord going on between Joshua and Thomas. Well, that was pretty obvious already to Oner. Reno was pretty oblivious to things like that though as he was usually stuck in his own little world most of the time. It was those few times when he wasn't though that he actually seemed very wise or smart to others. The figure behind Oner had a very mysterious, incredibly powerful feeling about him. Oner was glad that for now the argument between Joshua and Thomas faded for now, but there was no telling when it would be back and the already thick tension between them would rise once again.

"Everyone has already met him twice before, although I don't know if you were there when he was like this." Oner took a step to the side, so that they wouldn't have to look around him to gaze at the figure. "This is Neo-Bahamut, Bahamut's second and more powerful form. Currently though he is in human form as currently two usages of his even greater power is our limit. Normally we would have dismissed him by now, but he did tell when we were training to harness his second form during our time in the Mirror Realm, which took quite the while, to keep him sustained for as long as we could whenever we summoned him as it would be good training, even if it is only sustaining his more human form".

The dragon turned 'human' did not speak at all nor did he make any other movements to respond to his introduction by Oner. No, instead he only gazed forward, the darker red mask over his eyes making it impossible to tell where he was looking or what he was looking at.

The hits of Ascot did hit King Candy, however the damage was minimal. Although his Holy spell of earlier did have a negative effect on the monster that it had become. Belle wanted to prepare for another attack, as Ascot already went into the defenses for Turbo's next attack. However they could hear Ralph shout from behind them. "Guys! This thing is about to break, with the next hit we'll fall into the volcano along with these Mentos!" he shouted.

Belle looked around. "Where is Joshua!? This would be an excellent time for him to make a Corridor of Darkness!" she shouted. Turbo turned around and attacked again, the attack being reflected by Ascot's Reflect. He prepared for another attack, but before he could do that Ralph already punched the ground, breaking it. The group suddenly collapsed beneath them. Belle noticed that she fell down, she should be falling very quickly, so why did it feel like they were going so slow? Why did Joshua suddenly leave while he was needed to get them out of there. Belle got a bit angry because of that, but decided to keep that anger for herself, after all he was a good guy. Belle threw her keyblade into the air and it transformed into a Keyblade Glider. She quickly flew down to Ralph to catch him. Her glider was better to take another person as there were platforms to sit on, on both sides of the vehicle. Reno's glider however still was better to transport people.

Belle blasted upwards, evading the falling Mentos, and most importantly King Candy who fell down too. She assumed Ascot would have the same idea to ride his glider and make his escape. Shortly after Belle had activated the glider the Mentos and cola had made contact with each other and withing a second the cola would sprout upwards. Belle and Ralph had made it out of the volcano safe, and she assumed Ascot was already with them too, and else already made his way back to the group already. King Candy however was nowhere to be seen, it was possibly that the fight damaged his wings too much... so he would just fall to his death. Belle lowered herself to the ground where there was a heated conversation going on between Joshua and Thomas. Instead Belle turned towards Calhoun and pointed to the ray of light coming out of the volcano. "We did it. And look the Cy-Bug's are heading towards their death!"

"Wonderful, just wonderful." Calhoun spoke.

"Now, now, don't get mopey on us now Tommy boy." Joshua said while completely ignoring Reno/Oner on account that he didn't care. The kid could do some impressive magic like Thomas. The two might seem more powerful due to that fact but Joshua would say otherwise. He could accomplish the same things with weaker powers focused more on evasion and darkness enhanced attacks. His thoughts strayed when the Cola volcano blew up and he let out an impressed whistle as he watched the sight as well as Ascot, Belle, and Ralph returned" Impressive show guy. Hey Tommy boy, why couldn't you blow up the Cybug queen? As the leader of this group you should have the most power, am I right? Blowing it up should've been easy for you right?"

Ascot, it seemed, had prevailed, although only by dint of buying enough time for Ralph to break open the Mentos surface of the crater. But that was a good enough victory, although now, the boy had to focus on the business of escaping. The boy, now naturally faster than before, called up his Keyblade Glider and followed Belle; he knew that Joshua wasn't obligated to save them when the group had perfectly good Keyblade Gliders.

When the arrived, Thomas and Joshua were in an argument, an argument that involved 'power' and 'favors' and stuff that reminded Ascot of his former aspirations. The boy shook his head; he'll only make things worse if he didn't resist the urge to interfere. No, best to focus on what was obviously a modified version of Bahamut's form standing just behind Oner/Reno.

"Bahamut!" shouted Ascot as he ran forward to the now-humanized summon. "Glad to see we can meet again!" he said, his eyes now bright."Why don't we become friends, now that, I guess, you're not disappearing instantly?" For a brief moment, though, Ascot did spare a bit of worry for Joshua and Thomas; it seemed as though the two were creating a dangerous rift between each other...

Given Joshua's pause, Thomas was able to address Oner's response first. "Oh, right," he replied. Honestly, he couldn't remember if he'd met Bahamut before like this, but fortunately it didn't seem like Oner remembered either, so he just rolled with it. But wait, no, it wasn't just Bahamut, it was NEO Bahamut, the second and more powerful form. Still, the blow was lessened by Thomas already knowing of the summon that Reno/Oner had.

Well, given that, he turned and faced Bahamut, giving a deep bow. "It is an honor to meet you, King of the Dragons," he said, not flourishing and akin to showing off, but respectful. After all, the guy lived on the freaking Moon. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for the most part. Far more impressive than people meeting Carbuncle (Not that anything was wrong with Carbuncle. It just happened to be a green bunny. Not quite as impressive as the King of the Dragons)

Then Joshua spoke, and that was a successful shot at his nerves, earning a slight growl and a tightening of his fists. Again, he didn't like nicknames. It was hardly his fault that that never stuck with the only other person here. "It's Thomas, not Tommy boy," he spat back. "I don't need someone else starting with dumb nicknames."

His attention was diverted as the Cola Mountain exploded, bringing his departure to a halt, and he watched with impressed eyes as a pillar of light ascended into the sky and the bugs all went flying to their deaths, like Lemmings off a cliff. It was actually kind of artistic to watch. Well, looked like that was one less thing to do, so he called off heading up there to help everyone, He could see everyone coming on their Gliders, and thus didn't need to be concerned. Hopefully.

And then Joshua started again, and his anger grew, like a seething mass inside him as the warrior insulted him and mocked him. God, he wanted to punch him in the face so hard right now. Fortunately, he still had some restraint left, and he managed to avoid a physical brawl. that didn't mean he was silent though. "Screw you," he said in a low tone, head bowed, before he met Joshua and glared at him. "Why the hell do you care? You're only with the group anyway because you feel like it. If Amaya wasn't here, you'd ditch us to go do whatever the hell you want in a heartbeat. I mean, it wouldn't be the first time. So maybe I'm not the strongest person here, but at least I actually care about what we're trying to do."

His heartbeat thudded in his ears as his fingernails dug into the palms of his hands, energy brimming over in anger. He spun about then, taking a few steps away from everyone before he paused. "I'm going for a walk," he said over his shoulder, before departing the area while flipping Joshua the bird in the process, trusting that at least one of them would be able to find the Sign they were here for. He needed to go somewhere else and clear his head.

And as he walked through the candy coated landscape, hidden beneath magical armor, his dark wound, which had sunk into some kind of remission, flared back to life, pulsing and malevolent, spreading it's poison through his body and mind, unbeknownst to himself.

Amaya's thoughts were diverted from their tracks by the exploding volcano and Thomas's comments. "Come on you two enough...Joshua came on this trip not for me cause he didn't truly know whether I was alive or not...he has assisted in his own way and sure has made some mistakes but he is still here and not elsewhere like back at our home world.

You Joshua need to apologize to Thomas he doesn't need you poking at his nerves...you both need to get along cause we are a team not indivuals in a competition. Also Thomas is strong in his own ways so have some faith in him its not easy leading others...especially you since it is hard to get you to do anything unless it helps you or someone you care for..."she said gently moving over to Joshua

As Thomas was walking through the landscape he would suddenly hear something crawling towards him. It was a huge wrecked thing that resembled a Cy-Bug covered by hardened diet cola, and some few pieces of the candied landscape attached to it. The small spider-like legs were trying to move forwards, although not with much success. The head attached to the body was the one of Turbo. The defeated villain looked up to see Thomas in front of him.

"You... you and your friends ruined my plan. If Ralph, the fixer, the feminist soldier and your rpg guys didn't interfere with this game I could live my life in peace. But no you had to ruin it." It was notable that Turbo didn't switch back to King Candy again. It looked like the king had vanished in the explosion. "But I still have some strength left, so I can at least kill one of you." The thick candied armor of the Cy-Bug cracked and a centipede body crawled out with many tiny but sharp legs/arms attached it it, with on the top the head of Turbo. If Thomas would look into the remains of Turbo's previous body he could find the Sign stuck in the candy. Turbo grinned and rushed towards Thomas trying to slash him with the many legs, sharp as blades, across his body.

Belle, having listened to the conversation between Thomas and Joshua decided to join it after Thomas had left. She was totally in agreement with Amaya. Joshua was being a bit of an ass against Thomas. The boy was appointed as leader, a difficult task, as she also has trouble with thinking up good plans and leading people. Mostly duo to the fact that she has been an einzelgänger for as long as she could remember. They were supposed to be a team, but even though they have been through so much together, it still seemed they were people forced to work together to complete their quest.

"Amaya is right Joshua. You should take her advice, she's a wise girl. And like Jake said, we should work more like a team, instead of individuals." Belle said. Meanwhile the other part of the team, the one actually originating from this world were discussing some other things. After Ascot and Bahamut would have ended their conversation Ralph would approach him and Reno.

"Guys. Now that it is all over we should let Vanellope finish the race. I believe Turbo said that if she crosses the finish line the game would reset itself again. Then we all can head back to our games again with a happy ending." the big guy said.

"By the way guys. did you manage to get that Sign?" Felix asked afterwards.

When Thomas gave a respectable bow to the King of Dragons, he just looked towards Thomas and gave a very small nod, then returned to looking forward into space once again. Then Ascot approached Bahamut, the dragon turned humanoid looking towards the boy as he began to talk about the two of them being friends. He didn't say anything in response, but instead gave him that very same small nod that he gave to Thomas before looking back forward into space once again. He didn't really speak much, if at all really, but according to Oner he did indeed talk to him and his other self.

When Ralph approached though Reno manifested in the blink of an eye, replacing Oner, looking up towards Ralph and gave a nod when he said that they should let Vanellope finish the race. "Yea that sounds like a fun idea. Maybe me and her can have that rematch~" He grinned as the kart he had made at that kart factory materialized out of thin air next to him with a snap of his fingers.

As for the other question, Oner manifested to answer this one. "I don't believe we did, do you have any idea where it could be?"

"Thank you!" Ascot said at Bahamut's nod. "Really, thank you." Now, as for the question of the Sign, yeah, Ascot had noticed that the group didn't have it, yet. Thankfully, there was a way to remedy that; Amaya. The girl, from what Ascot remembered, still had the power to sense the Signs, despite her own being removed from her. So, Ascot walked over to her and spoke:

"Hey, Amaya, can you help us find the Sign? Also, great job you did helping Vanellope."

Ascot also took the time to note that something had changed within himself; his Mana was now recharging more swiftly than before.
