Darkness. That pretty much summed up the area all participants, past and present, arrived to receive a brief run down of what they were in for before they were thrust into the tournament. The first arrival of the fifth installment, a tall white curly-haired man in extravagant clothing who was currently hacking out a lung, was no exception.

"Good grief..." The Doctor hacked out, his eyes shut "Perhaps we should try to fix something on the console that expels less smoke, eh Jo?" The Doctor paused, clearly expecting a response. He cracked open his eyes when he received none.

"Jo? If you're not talking to me because I ate your lunch, I promise I'll-" The Time Lord paused, surveying his surroundings cautiously. This was definitely not UNIT HQ, nor anywhere else he had ever visited in his travels.

"Jo? Brigadier? Benton?" The Doctor called out, scratching his head in confusion "Maybe I did fix the TARDIS console...?"

"I think not Doctor," Boomed a loud voice, causing the well dressed alien to jump a little you've simply been...Selected as it were."

"Great balls of fire..." The Doctor gasped out in surprise "Who are you, and what have you done with my assistant?!"

"Worry not Doctor," The voice explained "Ms. Grant is perfectly safe back in her own realm. Just allow me a moment to explain." The Doctor sighed and nodded hesitantly.

"Very good," The voice boomed "you have been chosen to participate in a fighting tournament, one that has been taking place for the past four years...I have seen you're work Doctor, and I feel you could bring a refreshing change of pace to the tournament scene.

"A fighting tournament..." The Doctor pondered, stroking his chin somewhat "and if I refuse?"

"I've made it a personal rule to send home all participants safely," The Voice mused, a teasing tone in his voice "there is no rule stating I had to send home non participants however." The Doctor wracked his brain for a way out, a way home, but it was clear this being had him under his control, for now atleast.

"You make a compelling argument," The Doctor admitted "very well, I'll participate."

"Excellent!" The Voice exclaimed, clearly exuberant "All that's left now is to send you to the Battlefield...Now!" Without warning, The Doctor was engulfed in a bright light, contrasting the room he had spent the room he had just spent the past while he was in. Once he recovered from his temporary blindness, he found himself in a grassy meadow that spanned as far as the eye could see. There were doors of various shapes, materials, and sizes dotted about, which only made him curious. He made a mental note to visit them when he had the chance.

"It's quite peaceful here," The Doctor mused "a shame it will be polluted by war and violence very soon..."

Slowly managing to his small blue pixel feet, Viridian took a moment to rub his eyes. He looked around, quite honestly confused, but at the same time, extremely interested in where he was. "Hello?" He called out, curious as to what existed in this dimension. Was this a dimension? Maybe it was a dream.

"Hello!"

"Woah!" The small greenish-blue captain was spooked by the loud voice, Gravity Flipping by mistake. He began going higher and higher, not seeing any sort of ceiling... Or floor. "Aah! Where's the ceiling to this place, mysterious voice?" He asked, in a panic about being stuck forever.

"Fear not, Captain Viridian! Simply try flipping while in the air!"

Viridian was sure that wasn't going to work. Though he decided to try anyways, narrowing his eyes as he tried to Gravity Flip in mid-air. To his surprise, he actually managed to do it, and began falling. After a few moments, he found himself back on the ground, safe and sound. "Wow... This dimension makes my Gravity Flipping even better! But wait- How did you know that'd work? And how do you know my name?"

"Simple! We've been expecting you! You've been selected as one of many to participate in our yearly fighting tournament! We've been going strong for years, and plan to keep it that way~!"

"Fighting? I don't fight often, but I'm honored to be welcomed to such an event... Will there be adventure to be found here?" Viridian asked, honestly caught up in the moment. The thought of exploration, in an entirely new dimension, excited him more than most things.

"This will certainly be an adventure! I can promise you that!"

Viridian lifted his arms happily. "Fantastic! I can't wait to get started!" He was like a child when it came to adventure. He couldn't help it, it was his one true weakness.

"Alright then! I should get you on your way, but I have to ask... Are you related to Mr. Game&Watch by chance?"

"Who?"

"Didn't think so, but it was worth asking!"

The light that engulfed Viridian made him grin uncontrollably, as well as made it impossible for him to see anything. He simply stood there, waiting to see what would happen. Soon enough, he found himself in some sort of area with green stuff all over the ground. It made his feet feel weird... It wasn't like steel at all. He cringed as he felt the breeze, mildly scared of it. "W-What was that?" He questioned, before noticing something more amazing ahead. A strange creature! It stood on two legs, like he did. But it was much taller! And it had some weird stuff all over it's head, and some type of armor that made him look pretty fancy! Viridian couldn't help but slowly approach, offering a small wave. "Greetings, stranger!" He said cheerfully, not seeming scared of the fancy giant at all. Viridian kept a smile, revealing the void that was the inside of his mouth. He didn't appear it have teeth or anything, it was just... Black. Like his eyes. Though his cheery voice could perhaps serve as a distraction from it, if only momentarily.

"Ah how interesting.." A unknown voice said to Asuka. "You seem to be eager to face strong opponents yes? Then you will be a perfect candidate."

Asuka looked around but did not see anyone. "I do not like to play hide and seek." She said in a annoyed tone of voice. "Perfect candidate for what?" She asked the voice.

"There is a place where you will face strong opponents. Surely this is a opportunity you would not let slip as I see you are familiar with fighting tournaments no?"

Asuka listened. The voice had her intrest she grinned. "Well why couldn't you say it from the start. It is something I hunger for. I love a challange so alright."

"Excellent. " The voice said and vanished. The next thing Asuka knew was she was sprawled on her back in a grassy place. Not seeing anyone else at first she stood up. "Nani?" She said in surprise.

(ok im guessing we are supposed to add in the summmons part? Forgot to do that last post.)

The Doctor had been standing in one spot for quite some time, still trying to take in all of his surroundings. Odd as it sounded, he was trying to savour this-this was one of the few new places he had been to since he was exiled to Earth for 'meddling in other worldly affairs' as his fellow Time Lords put it. Before The Doctor could ponder this for long, he was broken out of his thought process by a voice. Glancing down, he found himself looking into the eyes of a bluish-green fellow that barely went past his knee.

'A child?' The Doctor thought incredulously, before thinking back on the voice he just heard 'No...Definayely not human, whatever he is.' The Doctor put aside these thoughts for now, smiling down at this newcomer.

"How do you do," The Time Lord began, nodding towards the newcomer respectfully "if I may be blunt, I'm surprised someone would introduce themselves in a tournament like this. Perhaps you'll all-" As if on cue, the sound of a woman's voice rang out nearby, causing The Doctor to whirl around to see the source.

"So much for that," The Doctor said sarcastically "perhaps we should investigate that."

The merchant and former bandit known as Yangus was simply enjoying another day doing his job, finally making the honest living he wanted, before ending up in this void... Thing. He glanced around, unsure of what to make of it. "... Wot the 'Ell just happened?"

"Welcome!

"COR BLIMEY!" Yangus' eyes widened in surprise, the voice taking him off guard. "Wot's this all about?! Magical voices 'n such? I've seen enough o' those to last most men a lifetime, I have!" He was irritated, to say the least. He glared upwards, seeing nothing but black. "Mother o' me this place is 'loomy..."

"You have been selected to participate in a fighting tournament! One that has been going strong every year for 4 years now!"

Yangus simply scratched his bum, now he was more confused. "Fightin'? Well why didn't ya say so? I'll have this here in the bag by tonight and get back home with wot'ever prize you've got... Wot prize do ya got?"

"Well... The voice seemed to, for once, not be as open about it,

"You tellin' me you expect me to fight 'n this for nothin' but glory? I don't need none o' that."

"I was about to say," The voice began, not seeming to like Yangus' attitude. "There is quite a hefty prize, indeed. One that I'm sure a man like yourself will be satisfied with!"

"Good." Yangus said, crossing his arms. "'Ery good. Now where do I start?"

"As soon as you're sent to the Battlefield! Which will be in Five! Four! Three! Two! One!"

Yangus covered his eyes, the light that engulfed him blinded him effectively. The short man ended up in a more forested area, and he was unsure of what to think of it. "So, where's the fight?" He questioned to himself, looking around. He had no issue using his fists... But a weapon would be nice. He suddenly felt heftier than normal, and glanced back to his a large axe on his back. "Now that's some good magic!" Yangus laughed, loud enough to end up catching the attention of those in his general area.
The armored hunter stood there, eyeing the surrounding black void. Standing ready in case of any assault. This place was odd, lifeless. There was nothing to detect here, at least nothing the hunter's armor could pick up. "Nothing..." Sylux muttered, about to take a step forward, before...

"Greetings, Bounty Hunter!"

Raising The Shock Coil, Sylux turned quickly, looking for the source of the voice. There was nothing. The hunter stood there, prepared to fire at anything that came into view.

"I'm sorry, but there is nothing for you to combat just yet!" The voice made Sylux curious with the word "Yet". Slowly lowering The Shock Coil, the hunter began to listen intently. "I've got your attention, that's good. You have been selected to participate in a fighting tournament, one that is known for attracting the strongest of fighters. We believe you'll spice things up, with your Shock Coil's draining abilities."

Sylux simply stood there, unsure of what to make of this. A fighting tournament? It'd possibly be good for training, and they usually had good payoffs. It was doubted this competition would be anything more than a minor threat. The hunter stayed quiet, simply nodding in agreement.

"The quiet type, huh? You'll be fine, I'm sure! Off to the Battlefield with you, now!

Sylux became more alert as the light blocked all view of the surrounding area, and made it impossible to see what was taking place. Though soon enough the hunter seemed to end up in a grassy field. The terrain was different than what the hunter was used to. Good thing adapting wasn't a hassle. Scanning the immediate area, the hunter picked up readings on multiple lifeforms. Kneeling down, the hunter decided to observe what was happening before jumping in. There seemed to be two humanoids, and a strange small creature... If this was a fighting tournament, then it was only right to assume that they would show their fighting ability soon. Fighting against multiple targets at once was careless, and was a mistake this hunter wouldn't make unless the situation called for it.
Viridian liked the odd giant. He was polite, which Viridian wasn't completely expecting. Of course, before he could respond, he heard the voice the giant did. "We should! I can't wait to see what other creatures there are in this dimension!" With that, he lead the way, heading towards the source of the sound with his big smile. He let his curiosity get in the way of the main point of this whole tournament, but he'd come around eventually. He looked back at the giant, noticing that no real introduction was made before something had to start happening. While going after the source of that sound, it was a better than never chance.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, um... Giant creature! No offense, of course. But, aah... I didn't get your name. Mine's Viridian. Captain Viridian to some."

Asuka recovered from her initial shock. "Ok keep calm. This was probably a set up by Lili. Knowing that girl she probably had it out for me. But the voice was not female so.." Shrugging she decided the only thing she could do was move forward. The grass and boring scenery seemed to go on forever. She was not aware of some people heading towards her.

"Come to think of it Viridian, if I may call you that," The Doctor said, glancing down to look his companion in his eyes, or lack there of "I am The Doctor, scientific advisor for UNIT. A pleasure to make your acquaintance." Squatting down somewhat, The Doctor reached down to shake Viridian's hand, only to feel something cold and metal pressing into his side. Reaching there, he felt the unmistakeable handle of an Eppe blade. Backing away from Viridian so he wouldn't cut him, he pulled it out to be certain.

"Strange," he commented "didn't think I was carrying one of these..." Before he could ponder it any further, the Time Lord felt an almost prickling sensation run through his body. One he hadn't felt since he last encountered the Daleks...His eyes darting about, he spotted something moving around in the grass. It wasn't a Dalek, surely, but it's mere presence was making him a bit jumpy. He shook his head somewhat and decided to focus on something else, anything else. He soon spotted an orange haired girl in a blue fighting suit with her back turned to them. He figured this was who called out earlier.

"Hello there," the white haired scientist called out "was that you doing all the shouting earlier?"

Hearing the Doctor Asuka got into a stance. "Who are you.." She said whirling around in surprise. Upon seeing the Doctor she relaxed her stance. "Baka I thought you were someone trying to sneak up on me." Narrowing her eyes she got a bit close to the Doctor's face. "I have a question. Were you the one who did that odd voice and brought me here..?"

It was not like Asuka to be suspicious however to her hearing that voice and seeing the Doctor she assumed it was him.

Darkness, darkness everywhere. A dream Robin was not unaccustomed to, in fact it was one he had very frequently during the war with Plegia. Next a dark figure with glaring red eyes would emerge and goad him, showing him images of the future, images of the Shepherds dead or dying. The sheer feeling of horror those images instilled was presumably what the figure wanted.

"Welcome."

Well that was different, a voice this time and a loud one at that. Not to mention it sounded jovial, welcoming, pleasant. Certainly not tones Robin would ever associate with this dream. What did it want? Did it wish to harm him in some way? Or maybe it's intentions were the opposite of his previous dreams and he'd get a montage of happy memories? In any case it would probably be a good idea to respond. "Ah yes, hello. So what is it that I'm doing here exactly? I mean not to sound rude or anything but an expanse of darkness isn't usually a good thing." He tried to keep his voice steely, he really did. But no matter how hard he tried he couldn't keep a terrified edge out of his voice.

"Do not be afraid, for you have been selected to participate in a fighting tournament, one that has been taking place for the past four years. I believe your analytical mind and quick thinking will bring an interesting element to this competition."

Robin was flattered honestly, but he was done fighting. He had worked so hard to end the wars, paying unimaginably high prices for it. "What about my friends? What about Chrom, Lissa, Frederick? Or Sumia, Gauis, Tharja? What of....." Robin's thoughts lingered on the one person he wanted to see most of all, the one above all he longed to return to. "What about my world? When can I go back?"

"In time Robin. Participate in the tournament and you have my word I'll send you home. Now, off to the battlefield with you."

With that there was light, like someone flipped a switch causing Robin hold up his hand to avert some of the pain. When his vision adjusted he found himself on a grassy field, not unlike the one Chrom found him outside of Ylisstol. Robin closed his eyes as he enjoyed the faint breeze and reminisced for a moment. It wasn't much of a battlefield really, at least he hoped not. It would be a terrible thing to ruin this beautiful place. He heard voices that he didn't recognize. The tactician turned towards the noise and began walking, soon finding the rest of, what he assumed were the other participants."Hail friends. Tell me, do any of you know what precisely is going on?" There was an older gentlemen, a small green man, a large ruffian with an axe was a little ways off yet, and an odd girl. A very unique group to be sure.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Doctor!" Viridian responded, reaching out to shake The Doctor's hand. He certainly wasn't like any doctor Viridian had ever seen. It was odd, what The Doctor had. He seemed a little surprised by the weapon he had. Viridian couldn't help but chuckle, how would someone forget what they were carrying? It was quite silly, but Viridian wasn't going to question the ways of The Doctor. Though it was odd how he suddenly looked around. Did he feel something? Viridian didn't... He simply ignored it, keeping his smile as The Doctor called out to another giant that wasn't too far away. It looked much different than The Doctor did.
Sylux didn't budge. The humanoid had glanced in the hunter's direction, but thankfully decided to mind his own business. 'I was detected rather easily, even for being in this field... They don't appear hostile... Odd.' The hunter glanced down at The Shock Coil, while considering the possible routes to continue. Disposing of that man would be easy, he appeared to be nothing more than a human male, getting on in his years. Having such people here was insulting to Sylux, this was supposed to at least give the hunter a minor challenge. Sad that it appeared that wouldn't happen.
Viridian tilted his head, listening to the second giant question The Doctor. His thoughts wandered for a moment as he looked up at Asuka. 'Wow! These creatures can look extremely different from eachother! At least it won't be hard to tell them apart.' He rubbed the back of his head, finding it an odd assumption that The Doctor was the voice from that void. "That odd voice?" He questioned, thinking about his own experience. "That mysterious voice was pretty odd... I wonder who it was? It said something about expecting me..." Viridian glanced at The Doctor, unsure of what to make of it. He wasn't absolutely sure, but he was feeling confident in the fact The Doctor wasn't the voice from that weird dark place he was in earlier

Hearing another voice, Viridian turned and eyed another one of these creatures! Once again it looked extremely different. Viridian found this amazing once more, waving at the taller newcomer. "I have absolutely no idea what is going on, all I know is this is some sort of tournament that involves fighting..." He blinked, glancing around at the others. "Wait, do we all have to fight each-other?"

The Doctor had briefly taken up an aikido stance before Asuka had calmed down. Seeing her drop her fighting stance and stuff his hands in his pockets. His expression turned a bit sterner as Asuka questioned him.

"If I was the on who brought us here my dear," The Doctor said, his voice not matching the one of that who brought them there at all "why would I come down here myself when I could watch the drama unfold from where ever I was hiding?" He cleared his throat and extended his hand.

"If I may introduce myself," The Time Lord began "I am The Doctor, and this is my companion Vermilion. And you are miss?" He turned to answer Viridian, a morose tone taking over.

"I don't like it more than you do," The Doctor said "but I hope to prolong partaking in fighting as long as I can. Can you says the same Viridian, miss?" Once again, before he could get an answer, a newcomer in medieval clothing and with hair similar to his own minus the curls.

"It would seem the competitors are pouring in," The Doctor commented, extending his hand to the newcomer "how do you do good man?"

(Meanwhile, in a place where we can't afford decent lighting...)

The sound of screeching car breaks and a thud filled the usually soundless and lightless room. A custom painted '65 Desoto Police Car screeched to a halt, causing Sam to reach up to keep his fedora from flying off and send Max flying into the windshield with a comical splat.

"Now see Sam," Max chided "if you had let me drive we wouldn't have hit anything."

"If I had let you drive, we would've hit those three telephone poles and those cute duckies." Sam snarked back, getting out of the Desoto.

"Aw, you don't know that," Max said in mock sorrow before dropping the subject "anyway, why are we stopping this time? Usually we just keep driving if we hit things."

"Real simple," Sam said, turning around to face the three foot rabbit "the car insurance bills are starting to pile up, and I'd like to avoid this one if I can."

"Oh, don't forget, you owe me an extra large Meesa Pizza if property damage costs the most this month!" Max chimed in cheerily.

"And you're telling me where you hid my banjo if manslaughter costs the most," Sam fired back, poking the downed thing with his bare foot "and it's looking like I'm winning." The Freelance Police looked down to look at the body-a sharp dressed man in a blue suit and ski mask.

"Eh, probably a criminal anyway," Max said casually, already walking back to the Desoto "come on Sam, we gotta get home to watch 'Oh, is he Still Alive?'."

"In a minute little buddy," Sam said frozen to the spot "I seem to feel a sharp poking sensation at the back of my neck."

"Astute observation my furry friend..." A French accent rang out. At that moment, the body disappeared and a man that looked just like the body appeared behind Sam, holding a small but very sharp knife to the back of Sam's neck. The Spy to moment to light his cigarette before he spoke again.

"Now zen," The Spy said cooly "vouz are going to tell me how un vhy you brought me here to run me over, or you'll be getting a hole in vou're neck." Suddenly, the sound of a gun cocking was heard and The Spy felt a piece of cold metal pressed against his head. Looking behind him, he could see Max had leot up, wrapped an arm around his neck, and was now putting him in a compromising position.

"No, here's what's gonna happen Frenchie," Max said manically "you're gonna put down the knife, or I find out if a French guy spills out wine when you shoot him!"

"You crack me up little buddy." Sam said with a grin.

"I fail to find any humor in that Sam." Max responded.

"Woah, woah, WHOA!" A voice boomed out, a strong burst of energy separating the three "Can you save the fighting for the tournament maybe?"

"Tournament?" Sam inquired, flicking the brim of his hat out of his eyes.

"Explain, disembodied voice." The Spy said cooly, taking a drag from his cigarette.

"A fighting tourney of course," The Voice said as if it were the simplest thing in the world "You have been chosen, hand picked by me, to participate in this lovely tourney with a prize beyond your wildest imagination!"

"Uh oh Sam," Max said pessimistically "you know what this means-more work that we're not getting paid for."

"Glad to see you're so enthused," The Voice said sarcastically "but either way this is happening, in 5...4...3...2...1!" and with that, they were in the fray.
Sam woke back up and stretched finding The Spy watching something off in the distance. Curious, Sam looked in his direction to see him looking at a very big, beefy man with an ace in the distance.

"Whatcha looking at?" Sam asked curiously. The Spy merely took a drag from his cigarette, not glancing at Sam.

"Duex...Un." The Spy said cooly.

"BANZAI!" Max shouted, leaping from the tall grasses and onto Yangus and wrapping his legs around his chubby neck, biting and clawing at his face "Die, die, die!"

"Aw geeze," Sam said with an exasperated chuckle "looks like I gotta bail out Max again."

"Vou are on vou're own." The Spy said, activating his Cloaking Clock and disappearing as Sam dashed to help his little buddy.

"...Huh." Yangus stopped laughing, glancing to the left, then right. This place was actually kind of peaceful. The trees looked beautiful, the breeze went great with the warm weather. If there were any birds, he imagined there would be a lot of chirping right now.

"BANZAI!

Of course, there was also the screaming rabbit now heading directly for his face.

'Wait, wot?'

Yangus was taken by surprise, his eyes widening in surprise at Max's sudden attack. "Wot the 'ell?!" Yangus exclaimed, cringing as Max scratched his face. Of course, this also irritated the man and he was ready to make a stew with this little bastard. His eyes quickly shot around, looking for a solution to this issue. The club sheathed at his side would do. 'Dropped me a few weapons, he did!' Yangus thought, glad for it. Considering the axe wasn't exactly easy for him to grab as of this moment. He gripped the club, raising his head and barely avoiding a bite right on his big nose as he swung the blunt weapon at Max.
Viridian listened to The Doctor intently, nodding in response. "Yes! I'm much more interested in seeing where some of these doors go than hurting anybody." He said, looking around at the choices. There must have been more than a dozen close by options! He had the urge to run into one, but decided it might be better to try and stick together with those who weren't instantly trying to beat his poor pixel face in. There would probably be people who would do that. The thought made him frown, not out of fear of any sort, but more out of how he wouldn't be able to ask whatever attacked him what they actually were. 'Guess I can't have the best of everything.'

Max had been taking great pleasure in attempting to tear apart Yangus' face. So much so, he never saw the club coming. The lagomorph was blindsided and sent skidding a good few feet away, and he would've gone further had Sam not stopped him by placing his foot in the direction he was skidding in.

"You okay little buddy?" Sam asked, taking his foot of Max's head.

"Yeah, I've had worse," Max said casually, standing up and dusting himself off "but that was fun! Can we keep bugging this guy?"

"Well, it IS a fighting tournament," Sam remarked, withdrawing his Smith and Wesson and facing Yangus "and you DID just smack my little buddy upside the head."

"I think I'm gonna like it here." Max said cheerfully, pulling out his Glock from God knows where.

Meanwhile, The Spy watched the drama unfold before him. The BLU Team mercenary was always an opportunist outside his work-whatever side was winning, he would join. Since it seemed like this was a free for all, The Spy simply decided to jump in to help whoever was winning and get in their good graces.

'It takes a man of cunning,' The Spy thought, reaching for a new cigarette 'to vin a bloodbath, no?' Before he lit the cigarette to enjoy the show, he suddenly heard a low electrical hum. Thankful that his Cloaking Clock still had another two minutes before it needed to recharge, The Spy looked over his shoulder to see someone with the same idea he had-Sylux, who appeared to be keeping his eyes somewhere completely different. The Spy put away his cigarette, knowing that the smoke would likely give him away, and got an idea.

'I vill take out ze competition early...' He thought as he reached into his pocket and withdrew The Ambassador, figuring his pocket knife wouldn't be able to pierce the armor Sylux had, whatever it was. Sneaking through the tall grass, The Spy cocked his gun and put it up to the bounty hunter's head, prepared to pull the trigger...

Seeing the Doctor take on a stance Asuka was about to make a move however listening to his words she calmed and relaxed. "You know Akido. Interesting. You may prove to be a worthy challanger. My name is Asuka Kazama of Japan. " She was speaking english as opposed to her native Japanese. "It is nice to meet you Doctor." Seeing some other people arrive she began to think about something. "I wonder how many people were invited to this tournament to compete. From what I am seeing I think most people here are all show." With a sigh she sat down.

"I take it a voice spoke to you as well? The only reason I decided to accept that voices invitation was because it offered me a chance to hone my fighting abilitys. One thing I will say that when it comes time to fight I will not hold back even if you are a fellow competitor." She said seriously.

Robin nodded at the elderly man, then to the girl who spoke. "I doubt we've seen everyone. The way the voice made it sound this competition is meant for entertainment, and what's a good show without some twists?" He shook his head, it was like the tourneys that were held in Ylisstol every year. The crowd loved seeing the underdogs overthrow the favorites. Though they cheered when the champions won regardless. Still, mob mentality is a dangerous thing.

"My name is Robin, might I ask whom you are?" It was a general question, after all the tactician just walked up and missed the prior introductions. Though the girl had called the elderly man by a title, Doctor. If he was a priest that would mean he'd have healing capabilities, though he couldn't see a staff anywhere on the man. The girl was obviously the fiery type, in fact she reminded Robin of Sully, the red knight who had the strength and demeanor to wrestle Khan Basilio and win!

"A pleasure to meet you Robin," The Doctor said chipperly "I am, as Asuka said, The Doctor. These are my companions, Viridian and Asuka. I have to say, that is an astute observation Robin, well done." The Doctor nodded respectfully in Robin's direction before looking down to the sitting Asuka.

"I hope my Aikido is up to your expectations," He said to the Japanese fighter "and I also hope you find a worthy challenger, Asuka Kazama of Japan, but at the same time I hope you don't hope it to me..." With that, The Doctor crouched down to stand beside Viridian at his level.

"...Because I must agree with Viridian," He explained "I would love the chance to explore this place, and the many doors around it. I was once a tracker by trade, but now a days I find myself trapped in one place. Well, this being the exception of course." Standing back up to full height, The Doctor glanced around and spotted a nearby door with a crest on the top of it-one with thee triangles that formed together to make a pyramid.

"That seems like a good place to start." The Doctor commented, pointing out the door in question.
