Cassandra just nodded, grabbing her things. She had already thought something like this might happen, so she wasn't surprised. She looked up at the sound of footsteps, seeing a tall man who could easily be 6 foot five. He had a decent build, his skin dark brown, his hair black. When his spoke, his voice seemed to rumble.

"Cassandra, and Ren. I am Simon" He smiled, his bright green eyes lighting up as he did so, and Cassandra couldn't help but smile in return. She slung her pack over one shoulder, her sword over the other, and approached Simon. "I'll see you later" She said to Lorenzo and Kiddo, worried about being apart from her brother-perhaps the only one that could stop her if she went...demonic. But she would trust Simon. She followed Simon as he headed out the room, taking her and Ren to a separate teaching room, more...relaxed, with comfy looking chairs and massive space, and he invited them to sit.

"I am a Doctor-Draagon. An odd combination, I know, but it works for me. This is my classroom-I've always found that comfort helps learning. And is better on the butt"

Cassandra laughed as she settled back in her seat

Were splitting up? Ren thought as he stood up and started to prepare for his new class with Cassandra. At least I'll have a little company. He didn't think the new class would be too bad considering he and Cassandra had made up earlier, and the misunderstandings between them had been settled. He almost looked forward to it, he liked Cassandra, although she was a demon, she was an extremely nice and caring person, but then he saw the instructor. Is...that a demon as well? He was a giant if not. The man was a mountain. His voice was almost as deep as he was tall, Ren could have sworn he felt his chest beat from the bass the man projected.

After introducing himself and making a joke, Ren's opinion slightly changed. The man seemed alright, and very down to earth. The term "gentle giant" almost came to mind, although, when facing demons, he doubted Simon would keep that title.

Ren decided to respond to the joke, not feeling as intimidated as he originally had,"Yeah, I'll take that over those desks in the other room." He said as he sat down. Who knows what Ren could learn from this man, since Simon was a dragoon, he figured more towards the gun side of his training. It was fine in Ren's opinion, but he had hoped he would be learning how to be an Aria, he tried to hide the disappointed look that masked his face as best he could.

Simon caught the disappointed look on Ren's, "do not worry, grasshooper. I can teach you all you wish to learn. Perhaps by as well as an Aria, if what Oliva has said about your preferences is true, but for now, I can teach you. For now, I'll just teach you the support. Why you are there-you are there to provide the backup that may be needed, to help, and to banish demons. Many think that doctors and arias have the easy jobs-but they don't. Being a doctor, you have to adapt quickly on the field, and learn how to treat life threatening injuries quickly and sometimes with limited supplies. Being an aria, you have to know demon...banishes off by heart. And there are many many many different types of demons. Both roles take dedication, patience and a lot of hard work. Are you both able to do that?"

Cassandra had brought her legs up, and was virtually curled up on the chair, her head resting on the arm rest, but her expression was thoughtful and serious. "Yes" she said, "if I'd continued with high school, I was on the honor role, top of my class, and was going to go to college and become a doctor. So I get to do it here, and I'm prepared for all the hard work" she said softly "I like being able to help people, and not hurt them" her eyes flicked to her sword, which was leaning up against the arm of the chair, and she shuddered slightly.
Oliva addressed the boys. "You will have your chance to train with Simon. Right now, we are going to the training room, and you'll learn to fight. Before I came To the academy, I was trained in various forms of fighting. Perhaps that is why I chose Aria, having been given no choice but to be one of the offensive roles, I still chose Aria. Anyway" she led the boys to the training room, and waited for them to be ready

ready" Lorenzo said as he followed Olivia to the training room and wondering what they would be learning today since they were separated from Cassandra and ren while Lorenzo and kiddo were the ones with swords and are meant to take the offensive roles in battle. Lorenzo knew Cassandra would be alright but Lorenzo was not entirely sure what Olivia meant by given no choice to be anything but offensive and taking aria instead anyways but Lorenzo thought that she might explain that later but now Lorenzo just hoped she wouldn't make them do anything that would put Lorenzo at risk since he cant handle holy water or read an aria without having an insanely bad migraine at the very least if it isn't directed towards him to begin with....

He listened to the mountain of a man speak, his voice sounded like gravel, smooth and hard, like the years had eroded it away. He said he could teach him and asked if he could handle the dedication required. Of course I can, I've lived off my hard work for years, it's a second nature. Besides, these guys are depending on me He thought while Cassandra spoke. I can't let them down. Not again.

He continued listening to the female twin speak, and was impressed. A doctor, huh? She does seem like the goodie goodie type. It fits that she's smart, and caring. The role fit Cassandra, or at least Ren thought so. It must have been why she chosen the mesiter of doctor. Following Cassandras response Ren spoke as well,"I'll do anything you say, as long as it will make me better. Provided it doesn't put my friends in danger of course, but I doubt you'd do that." He flashed a smile at Cassandra. He saw that she looked uneasy, and caught a glance at her sword. He directed his gaze towards Simon again, his demeanor intensified,"Professor, I'm going to be frank with you. I don't just want to be as strong as I can, I need to. All of my teammates are strong, so strong I seem like an ant. I need to be able to help them if they need me, I need to be able to save them from fighting if they don't have to. I need to be able to take on their burdens, and share them so they don't have to take the full load. I want to support them, Professor. I'll do anything. Just name it."

Oliva waited for both Lorenzo and Kiddo to be ready, "Okay. You both have different strengths. Which stands to reason, but you've both chosen the knight miester, so grab a training sword each" She said, grabbing one herself, "And try to hit me" She said, in a neutral tone.

Simon gave Ren a smile, "First thing, Professor makes me sound like an old man with a tweed jacket. Just Simon, if you please. Second thing, that's a good reason to fight, and it shows you have dedication" He spoke softly, and happily, "You're both going to have to learn the signs of when you are needed to provide your support. And you are both going to need to know how to fight. You cannot just expect your team members to protect you as you support them. If you're in a swarm of demons and don't know how to fight, chances are, you'll be killed and your team with you"

Cassandra frowned. "We've both chosen offensive mieters as well. Ren's chosen Dragoon and seems to have some master over the skill of gun use, and I have chosen Knight, and we have already killed a demon together" She sighed, "But that's getting cocky, isn't it? I know we have a lot of training to do"

Simon nodded, "You can win 100 battles, and lose your 101 because you got cocky. being Humble and knowing you can always improve is something a lot of people forget is important"

"Uhm ma'am, are you sure. I'm not saying you can't block our blows but what if we do hit you?" Kiddo asked unsure. He didn't want to hurt his teacher if he actually could hit her. He knew she'd probably deflect any blow he swung but there is always that 1%. "Eh, Lorenzo, you can go first. I just want to watch for now." Kiddo said as he backed up a little. He didn't do this just because he was unsure (even though that was the main reason). He also did it to observe Lorenzo's fighting style in case they had to spar. Of course Lorenzo would also being observing when Kiddo takes his turn. I'll just have to switch my style up a bit if I want to catch him off guard, when we spar. Kiddo thought as he waited for Lorenzo to step up

Lorenzo grabbed a training sword and held it in his hand taking a deep breath and relaxing his body meditating for a moment so he wouldn't loose control in the practice fight. Lorenzo didn't care if she was the teacher because she wanted him to attack her and with his speed he would be able to eventually it was simply a matter of finding the moment that she slips up and gives him an opening. Lorenzo had to practice using these wooden swords but that didn't mean he couldn't fight like he does with his normal blade as Lorenzo held his wooden sword pointing the edge towards him like he does with his normal blade knowing kiddo would watch him for when they had to spar so it just means Lorenzo was going to give him a show. once Lorenzo felt relaxed he rushed into the battle at hand and charged first going for a straight up charge before giving misdirection and attacking Olivia behind her right shoulder blade...

What Simon said made sense, and Ren couldn't help but like the guy. He seemed like he had a lot of experience, and he wanted to share it with the two of them. Nothing wrong with that. He flashed his usual grin and replied to Cassandra and Simon,"Well it's not cocky if you can back it up right? So, let's just get to that point! I'm ready to start learning! Send whatever you got!" The truth of the matter was that Ren was excited for this. Simon would help him be of use to the others, and that's all he wanted. Nothing could beat that.

Oliva laughed at Kiddo's reluctance and shook her head in amusement, sliding into a stance easily as Lorenzo steped up. She watched him, appearing quite at ease as she waited for Lorenzo to attack. Oliva smiled when he started, and she moved quickly, never breaking stance, and she blocked the blow quickly and smoothly, and with such grace that it was apparent she had done dancing of some sort as a kid.

It was clear that she had had extensive training in how to fight, and she moved quickly, smoothly, releasing her blade from the block, and bringing her blade up to attack Lorenzo quickly, staying out of reach, and keeping her stance, "Come on. I won't break. Hit me with your best shot. I won't break"

"Its going to be quite a time before you are ready to face a demon with your aria abilities Ren" Simon said, "For now, Aria's learn Fatal verses, which are specific section or verse of holy scripture that, when recited, will exorcise a certain demon. While the Fatal Verses of many common demons are known, more unique demons may not have an established Fatal Verse. While Fatal Verses are useful in battle, a verse must be spoken clearly and finished completely for the effect to take place. If the speaker is interrupted or is unable to finish the chant, the demon will not be exorcised. Most demons will attack Aria in the middle of their chant, requiring the individual to have extra protection from other exorcists. Are you familiar with the bible, Ren? If not, I suggest you learn it" He turned to Cassandra, saying "A Doctor typically possesses basic first-aid skills, emergency first-aid, and the knowledge to treat ordinary injuries. Most Doctors act as combat medics, and typically achieve other meisters in order to defend themselves"

Cassandra nodded. That seemed about right, and she looked over to Ren, "If you don't have a bible, I have one you can use"

Lorenzo growled when she blocked his attack then when she broke the block to attack Lorenzo he decided to take her advice and not hold back because he was a demon. so Lorenzo quickly jumped back to avoid the blades attack then he charged in again this time before he attacked he jumped over her blocking her attack that he knew would come when he was in the air, Olivia was obviously trained and all fighters know that an opponent is vulnerable while in the air so once Lorenzo landed he tried to use a sweep kick to make her jump to do just that, then once he got her off balance he charged in doing a sideways flip to bring down more force in his overhead strike. This fight would definitely be a challenge worth undertaking and it would be a good way for Lorenzo to practice fighting without going into demon form and staying more calm in battle wondering if that was something Olivia was planning or was just a happy accident...

Reading? Ugh.. so boring. He hated it, but he thought maybe Cassandra could help him. She had after all, offered him a Bible. He wouldn't mind the time anyways, if Lorenzo was in the room too it could provide quite a bit of entertainment. He responded to them both in turn,"I'm not that familiar.. I remember a few verses from church when I was younger, but that's it." Turning to Cassandra he spoke again,"You're just always there when I need you."

The smile he held couldn't be taken away at that moment, he realized he had people he could depend on. That would watch out for him and care about him. Even if it was just a Bible, he knew that Cassandra or any of them would give a lot more if he needed. The realization made him warm inside. It's gonna be a good day, I can already tell.

Oliva knew what Lorenzo was doing, but let it happen anyway. She needed to let him learn that just because you had all the fancy movements and foot works, didn't mean that you would win. You had to be adaptable, and that's what Oliva did. As he swept to kick her feet out from under her, she leaped to the side, managing to just avoid Lorenzo's sideways flip, and bringing her blade up to block his attack. "Think fast. Quick. Move. Let your instincts guide you, but don't let them control you"
Cassandra smiled at Ren. "My mother and step-father thought it good that I know the bible. I went to sunday school, youth group, church...in a way, it was probably a good thing" she said with a shrug. "if Simon doesn't mind, we can go and I'll grab my bible for you. Maybe set you up so you will actually read it, instead of looking for a million things otherwise to do" She said with an easy smile, looking towards Simon.

"Well, better then me doing it. it means I can get out early too" Simon said with his rumbling laugh.

Lorenzo growled a little in annoyance but took a breath to calm himself again and Lorenzo decided that since he needed to try and control his movements more instead of hitting in a general direction like with his overhead strike he had to make her think he was going to hit her but actually only come close. Lorenzo pushed Olivia back and charged her and Lorenzo believed Olivia was planning on another maneuver instead of a straight up stab as Lorenzo made the motion and simply grazed olivias side when she tried to dodge it but Lorenzo let it happen so he could spin to the side where Olivia was dodging towards and he aimed to kick her in the back to show that he was adaptable and not dead set on only using the wooden sword he was given

Oliva let Lorenzo use his maneuver, watching what he was doing letting out a small hiss as he landed a blow. She let her eyes tell her what she should do, and her instincts to guide her. She twistest aside as Lorenzo aimed to kick her side, the blow barely touching her, and she spun, grabbing his leg before he could lower it to the ground, and pulled to throw him off balance, bringing up her sword between them as she pulled him towards her. If the sword had been a real one, it would have pierced his stomach, and most likely killed him slowly.

"Good. You managed to hit me, if barely"

A loud bang, followed by a yawn could be heard in the training room. Hax had just kicked open the door, and had yawned. Chewing his gum, he had his arms crossed. Others would not realize this, but he was constantly training the time he can wield his inherited demon blades, Infernus and Cyrono. He was holding on to his blades and activating them in their sheaths. He could mentally talk to them, and was expanding the time he could wield them. Although they were of fire and ice, the demons got along nicely, mostly due to Hax's ability to wield them both at once. Other people have trouble taming one demon sword/blade, and would be either killed or take serious damage if they tried a second. Hax was special in this sense, and was able to hold them both for 45 minute bursts at the moment. A recovery period of 15 minutes was required, at that point he would let go of them.

"What's going on here? Are there new students or something?" Hax sleepily asked. He was constantly lacking sleep due to his training. Every couple of weeks, he would spend more than 24 hours in bed, asleep. Seeing Olivia, stabbing a fake sword into a kid he was unfamiliar with, he asked, "Who's he?" Without even getting an answer, he could feel the presence of a demon. Demon spawn? Not often you find one, but, then again, someone possessing a single demon blade is rare enough, let alone a wielder. So, I guess it would be rare to find someone like me as well.

Lorenzo growled a little and he flipped to his side putting his hands to the ground to use his free leg to kick miss Olivia off his foot before Lorenzo got his distance back to him but not before he looked over hearing a loud bang Lorenzo was ready to pounce on his enemy only to see it was a student yawning then as he asked who Lorenzo was he asked the guy "depends on who you are" Lorenzo said knowing that if it was a real sword that Olivia was using he would be dead but he was unsure if that meant that his turn was over despite her saying that he got a hit in Lorenzo knew that she killed him and in a battle what's important is if you kill or capture the enemy wounding them isn't going to much good to another demon, especially if it was one from the realm of rot with the ghouls that were already dead and possibly bleeding in the beginning of the fight. Lorenzo felt the sudden urge however and grabbed his demon sword handle strapped behind his back just in case since Lorenzo felt the presence of a demon in the direction of the new person but Lorenzo couldn't tell if the boy was a demon or had demon swords yet

Oliva stepped back, "a new student, Hax" Oliva said, "one of four I am training" she said, "your turns done Lorenzo. You did good, for your first try against me" she said, offering Lorenzo a kind smile, before turning to kiddo, "would you like to fight now, or still worried that you're going to hurt me?" She continued on as if the lesson hadn't been interrupted, trying to keep the flow of things, having seen Lorenzo go for his blade. "Working yourself to exhaustion again, Hax?" She asked easily, as she returned to form. "Don't feel bad Lorenzo. Only one person had best me on their first try" she smiled. "You're welcome to stay Hax. Im even if it is a beginners class, you can always learn something new. And you might even teach them something too"

Looking as the the one asked who Hax was, he simply replied, "Doesn't matter."
Listening as Oliva told him that it was indeed a new student, and that she had four of them, he learned this one was named Lorenzo. He didn't really care about them, but that just showed his refusal for team co-operation.
Being asked about his training, Hax replied, "I need to do at least this much if I want to truly wield them. *Sigh* they should just let me be a Meister already, I'm more than qualified as a knight, and doing fairly well with the pistols to be a dragoon." He spoke wearily.
Hearing her mention being only bested by one on their first try, he thought Oh so she has been bested. Not that I've even fought her. I know already she is quite a fighter, but my experience is greater, whether it be human or demon.

"Teach them?" Hax looked at her with a look of tiredness. "Me? Teach them?" he repeated. "Don't say such foolish things. I'll watch, just to judge." he told her. Walking back to the door, he leaned against the wall next to it, and watched.

Lorenzo looked at Olivia seeing that she didn't make a move towards the person now named "hax" he decided he wasn't a threat at least for the moment. Lorenzo listened and he thought he didn't do to bad considering that he got a wound on her even if he did die, like she said only one person bested her but now Lorenzo is wondering who did considering it seemed interesting to know what to learn from someone else. Lorenzo then turned to hax as he talked about wielding his weapons knowing that the guy was a knight and is wielding demon swords, that explains the presence Lorenzo felt on him so Lorenzo put his hand in his pocket instead of his blade handle. Lorenzo could tell from how hax was talking about teaching Lorenzo and the others Lorenzo could tell this guy had problems working well with others, probably thinks hes the best and can do things alone and that just made Lorenzo feel sorry for him all that much more. Lorenzo went to a wall and sat down to relax after his fight with Olivia wondering why someone more trained would be down with the noobs
