Name: Victoria VolzCodename: VirginiaAge: 31Gender:Appearance: Armor: Armor Ability: Type-3 Refraction Dissonance Modifier/CamouflageSpecialty: Infiltration & EliminationHistory: Victoria lived on the streets for years, as a child she could acquire food & shelter easily by being cute as she grew up that stopped being an option. Then the gangs moved in, she wanted no part of the gang lifestyle, as she would have been nothing more than another living sex toy that they may or may not have loaned to other people for money. She didn't have the means to fight them so she had to learn to hide from them. She became very good at sneaking around, she eventually learned to apply that skill to breaking and entering. Eventually she was caught, a marine who was forced out of service took her in and helped her get her life together. Shortly before Victoria turned eighteen her benefactor died at eighteen she joined the UNSC Marine Corps just like her benefactor. Her skills were put to good use infiltrating and eliminating Innie leaders who wanted to continue their pointless crusade of stupidity and ignorance all the while the Covenant were trying to exterminate humanity. Her last mission fighting the Innie morons was cut short when the Covenant invaded. she barely made it off world before Covenant glassed the planet. After that ONI conscripted her to put her talents to use in gathering intelligence on the Covenant. After many years of fighting the Covenant she was conscripted one more by the Freelancer project.Personality: Due to her successes in the past, the fact she was conscripted into other programs against the wishes of her commanding officers she has developed a superiority complex. As a result of her benefactor's death, her parents abandoning her she has developed an inferiority complex, she feels like there is something wrong with her. she never takes anything seriously except when in battle. She refuses to form attachments to other people or things. If she can't take into battle with her then she has absolutely no use for it. Over the decades she developed a darker and self-destructive personality. Any specific weaknesses/flaws: she is cocky, arrogant, willful, and insolent. she could be in desperate need of help but she would rather die than to ask for it. she has scars on her body that are not the result of battle or fights, but self-infliction. Due to depression and self-loathing, she sought out violent sexual relationships.Quirks: Has a tendency to uncontrollably babble nonsensically when in a heightened emotional state, which has proven useful in interrogations. She also will butcher words. She doesn’t like males very much at all, especially the little brain they think with.AI Character SheetName: EpsilonPersonality: She's cold, determined, and merciless, some might describe her as a "rotten bitch". Despite this, she has a very honorable and caring personality. Deep down, she truly is a kind, loyal, and honorable soldier. Functionality: It runs the armor ability and remotely hacks. Virginia refuses to accept any further help from it.

Not actually red it yet, but Yay another SGU actor. Also Freelancer is a non related group to UNSC so likely you would have to find your way to the project earlier.

Freelancer was subject to the UNSC Oversight Sub-Committee. Malcom Hargrove aka Chairman stated that he looked forward to a long, mutually beneficial relationship between the two departments. (Source: http://rvb.wikia.com/wiki/Chairman)

During the Great War, the [UNSC] authorized Project Freelancer in hopes of creating a feasible solution to the Great War (Source: http://rvb.wikia.com/wiki/United_Nations_Space_Command)

Do you still want to state that Freelance Project is not a part of the UNSC?

I've been watching from the beginning. You are highly unlikely to correct me on the subject of RVB.

So have I, though I haven't gone further in than the episodes however I never went beyond the episodes.

the UNSC oversight I get, and it was meant to be a feasible solution however I always saw it as more of an offshoot like the Spartan Program originally was. However that could just be my interpretation off it.

Then again the Spartan 3's were a offshoot and they got some of the best of the UNSC had

Spartan 3s (If they are the new ones, nto really followed 4) IIRC are more of a reboot of the program after its effectiveness during the war. Freelancer was shut down before that point canonically.

True but it was more of an example that it was possible more than it had been done before also this is AU so it could fit in

The SPARTAN program was never an off shoot. It was fully funded and operated by the UNSC's various departments like the Navy (Orion Project), Special Forces (SPARTAN II), ONI (SPARTAN III), or the newly formed SPARTAN branch (SPARTAN IV).

Sorry it has been awhile since I read the books but you seem to be pretty down with the facts but the point about AU still stands

I will have a slightly different CS, I've decided to have my character be the Councilor character instead of being an actual Freelancer, so I will basically be able to help out during missions. For example, if someone was to hack into an enemy's terminal and send the data back to HQ, I would be there to read through the data and give back the important bits. So anyway, I will be putting up my CS within a few hours, have some slave labor to do around the house first.

P.S. I'm honestly not sure what we've decided on regarding armor appearance, but I think we are going to go with Halo 3's armor variants since this will be a parallel story of the Freelancer Program from RvB, which used Halo 3's armor. Don't quote me though, keep what you have for now. Either I or Dessie will get back to you all on that. CS's looking good so far you all!

EDIT: Also, if anyone has any questions about Halo lore for their CS, feel free to PM me, I will usually be on

Well I just added one for both, so whichever you choose it's there, if both are okay it's the reach variant

Although the problem with Halo3 style armour is that the online generators produce those tiny images.

That's true. We could make it Reach but I think if we chose to do Halo 4 it would be a bit of a stretch, but then again that's just my Halo nerdiness coming out. As I said, that might not even be a thing and we could accept all of the looks, I'm just giving what I think. I might be completely wrong so again, keep what you have for now and we will get back to you.

Technically, Reach armor is chronologically before Halo 3. Who's to say some armor couldn't've survived?

LOL I just had the image of my character with active camo trying to communicate through gestures and not noticing why no-one was noticing him so he starts doing larger ones and Theta is just timing how long it takes him to realise

That's a good point, I can't believe I forgot that. And I call myself a Halo nerd. -facepalm- I think it would be safe to use Halo Reach armor. I might even have to have a Freelancer character now because of how much I like my armor from Halo Reach.... If only lol

Reach Armor nothing more than the Mark V seen in Halo and Halo 2 before upgrading to the Mark VI. The only difference is you get to use different variations of it.

I thought there was the whole legality issue of using kids that was investigated into, and the fact that the UNSC wouldn't have used kids. Also while the Freelancer Program was funded by the UNSC they weren't under its direct control. More like civilian contractors. Which is why they were able to get away with all their heinous misdeeds.

Well to be honest I have no idea what to chose other than that for infiltration unless I go with the chameleon power thing that carolina had.

Or I suppose I could have the EMP that Wash had, I guess that could come in handy.

OK, guess I need to re-write my character sheet from scratch since the frame seems to have changed.
