Shinigami
Name: Hebi Feng
Appearance:
HebiAge: 175
Race: Shinigami
Rank: 8th Seat, 2nd Squad
Spiritual Pressure Color: Dark Green
Personality:
Hebi is an an extremely self conscious person. He gets embarrassed easily and is very critical of his own abilities. Never thinking he is good enough is the common mind state he has. He desperately tries to prove himself to his older brothers and his sword.
His need for approval from others turns to envy extremely fast. Jealous of the natural talents of others and of the positions his betters hold. Even though he holds these feelings, he doesn’t do much to fix the feelings of inadequacy.
Hebi rarely trains because he finds it tedious, or maybe it is because of all the times he was forced to spar against his older brothers just to get beaten into the dust. Whether it be a lack of will, or from the inability to relive his past, he tries his best to avoid sparring. Even with his newfound drive, he only fights hallows, or when he is on a mission. He must just hate the repetition.
History:
Hebi has spent his whole life thinking he isn’t good enough. He was not an equal to his brothers in any form of competition, so much so that he was shunned. They wouldn’t even acknowledge him as a member of their family. He was so disheartened that he rarely practiced or sparred, he mainly just sat alone and drew in his sketchbook.
This angered his father, being the head of the clan, he couldn’t have sons that were so much of a disgrace, he called upon a family rule that had been passed down from generations. Any member who doesn't pass the test to get into the Onmitsukidō is immediately exiled from the family. Even knowing this fact, it did not spur Hebi into any more training. Luckily enough, he passed.
He was given his Zampakuto, which immediately spoke its name to him, and called out. “Know my name, but this alone will not grant you power. You must prove your worth, to not only me, but to yourself as well. That is the only way I will release any power. Right now you are nothing but an insect, waiting to be squashed. You have no goals in mind. A spec of dust in the wind has more drive. Find something, and bring yourself to chase after it.” And with that it was silent.
Not only did this infuriate Hebi, it saddened him. He had heard about the bonds shared with Zampakuto’s and the stories never went like this. The thing that was supposed to be a part of him had told him he was useless just like everyone else. From this moment on, he vowed to be better than his brother. That was his goal.
Other: Inferiority complex to an extreme.
Shinigami Skills:
Great Reiryoku(2/4):
His stamina is above average mainly from genetics, he could be better honed all around if he attempted to, but sadly this is not the case. He also doesn't have an extremely great amount of control over his spiritual pressure.

Hoho Expert(2/4):
Hebi is a lazy individual, so although he has trained in this art, it was a favorite. He devoted only enough time as necessary for him to perform more difficult Hakudo techniques with his newfound enhanced agility. His flash step is of average speed.

Zanpakuto
Name: Ryuu Tamashī (Dragon Soul)
He isn’t strong enough to know anything but the name of his Zanpakuto. This is a source of amusement of his Zanpakuto, and uses it as a teasing point. Although he has the name, the sword won’t release any of its power, unless Hebi proves himself worthy.
