Leon was, indeed asleep. He was tired from doing that one thing. Plus the very neat hiring of a new employee. But, thanks to Vi's rather, persistent kicking of the door. Leon was unfortunately awake. "Yes yes....I'm awake" Leon got out of whatever he was sleeping on. He didn't really bother to check. With a bit of eye focusing. Leon was able to open the door. He shook his head around, "Oh..Hello Vi, I seen you have eggs...That's great! Can you come in? Right now I'm too tired to carry anything. No use to me if their broken I guess. Well, I could use it...Right away if it wasn't on the floor and still in the egg. but, you know what I mean" Leon rubbed his eyes. "It's quite bright...or dark isn't it?"

Leon stumbled backwards, "Give it a minute and I'll be awake" He grinned as he slumped back on a chair. "If...I...don't fall back asleep" Giving the situation, he stood back up. Just in case he fell back asleep. He didn't want to wake up with egg all over him.

"It's the thought that counts." David replied, appreciating that Sam considered helping out. His comment about convincing someone he was strait didn't get much of a response out of David, he more or less just nodded, not wanting to cause any issues. "Ah ain't gonna say anything." He kept a positive expression, not planning on saying anything, considering the fact the man seemed to have some difficulties already.

'Crazy, huh...' David could believe it. He nodded, not commenting on it as he didn't have too much of an opinion on the townsfolk yet. Though according to him, asking those he met for help wasn't the best idea. "Nothin' around here Ah can't take care of." He seemed to be rather confident in his choice of words. He didn't figure he'd need help cleaning the place; though it was a mess, which meant he'd end up spending some time trying to tidy the place up to make it look a bit more welcoming. Unsure of who exactly 'G' and 'Zeke' characters were, he simply took Sam's warning as it was. "Ah'll make sure to take caution around 'em. The warning is appreciated."

As Sam patted his shoulder, David simply kept a smile. "Thanks!" He responded, waving as Sam began taking his leave. "Feel free to come by whenever ya want, Ah don't mind!" He said, before walking towards his small home. "Well he's pretty nice, ain't he, little guy?" David was glad to still be hearing the chirps from the chick in his basket, and was also glad he was finally going to be able to step inside for a few minutes. To finally clean, then put away the items gifted to him from Vivienne, as well as a few things he hadn't noticed in there before, not having any knowledge of Joel being the one to gift him the poop-less food.

"Whew!" David huffed, dropping another one of the rocks that cluttered his field into a pile he made a fair distance away. The pile was big, but more so because of the size of the rocks rather than the quantity of them. There was more wood in the pile next to it, the logs not being as much of a problem as some of the rocks had been. David had been working since he finished putting the items Vivienne had gave him away. He occasionally took a break, but was trying to clean the place up somewhat. The place was looking pretty clean, but still needed to be fixed up. The fences, barn, and even his home needed some repairs and improvements.

For the moment, David decided to stop doing the heavy work for awhile and do something a little easier. He had laid some of his tools outside; and had the seeds from Vivienne laid out on a table near his front door. He walked over, scanning the seeds with uncertainty as to what they were. He figured the best way to go about figuring out what they were was to plant them, and that was exactly what he was going to do.

Picking up the necessities, David put the seeds in his pocket, and took his hoe and watering can over to the field, before setting down the watering can and beginning to till the soil with the tool he still had in his hands. It was much easier for him than carrying rocks around, so he considered himself momentarily blessed to have an less hefty task to do. Soon enough, he planted one of the seeds, happily burying it before watering it soon after.

"Alright. Now-" David was interrupted by chirping. He smiled, walking back over towards the entrance to his home. The basket, now empty, was serving as a temporary home for the little chick David had obtained. "Ah bet you're a little hungry, ain't ya?" David reached into one of the pockets on his jacket, and pulled out a little chicken feed. Which soon he dropped into the basket for the small bird to enjoy.

Turning, David looked out at the work he did, and felt pretty proud of it. "Not bad for the first day..." He commented, sighing. "Only the start, though. Ah have a feeling this is going to be a pretty bumpy road." He had a firm belief that was true, as he took a seat by the pond. He decided to just look over the area from where he was sitting, and try to decide on what he was going to do next. There was still plenty of daylight left...

"Guh... Where am I?..." Lyra groggily sat up in a bed that was not her own. It was a sight she had grown accustom to, but it was true none the less. She looked over to see the blinds drawn, and a few rays illuminating the room. There was some medicine on the nightstand beside her, and her lute and bag was in the corner. Slowly the pieces began to fall into place. "Oh... That's right... I just got into Mineral Town... I had such a headache, and was so hungry. The Inn owner... Leon? He gave me this room, in exchange for helping him out... But what did he need me to do?... Argh! Can't remember..." She looked at herself in a mirror on the wall. "Yeesh, I'm dirty. I should take a bath first." Lyra walked out of her room, looking for the bath room. She wandered for a while, before finally finding it.

She still didn't feel entirely there before the bath, however the warm water and steam really helped. She felt okay when she first woke up, but after that bath she felt like her normal self. She quickly changed into a set of clothes, making sure her recent ones were to be cleaned. She had few cloths to wear so, she rarely changed while out on the road. She walked outside the Inn and into the warm sun of spring. She looked up to the sun, shielding her eyes. "Hm... Its still the early afternoon... Guess I will walk around and see more of the town."

She walked around and spotted a few other places. She noticed the farm that she passed through to get here. It still seemed to be in really bad condition, but she swore she saw someone working on it. There was a chicken farm, and a blacksmith. But more importantly, a bar. She would have to keep that in mind when it got later. She saw the church, and was rather impressed with it It seemed well maintained. She saw strange hut in the distance behind the church, but just passed it off as a chicken coup. For the most part she could pick out each building without a problem. However one seemed somewhat peculiar, and out of place. It looked like a normal house, but there was an odd "tower" built into the side. There was a sign that read "Library" with a list of dates and times. According to the sign, it should have been open. She pushed the door and looked around, then felt disappointed immediately. "Books... Just books..." She wasn't sure what she expected to see, nor did she have any reason to believe that a place labeled as a library would have anything other than books.

Alex rubbed his eyes before sweeping one hand through his hair. As he staggered towards the bar door, he gave a wave to where Nuka was, unsure if she was awake or still asleep.

"Thanks for the nap Nuka."

As he stepped outside, he immediately shielded his eyes as the light brightly greeted him, burning his pupils. With a grumble he began making his rounds to deliver the vitamins and medicine. Short route today, thank the Goddess. Just a little ways out of town to the nearby residences. The patient was too old to make the trip into Mineral town nowadays. Like many of his habits now, Alex had simply taken to getting a large portion of the medicine to last about a week and delivering it directly. It was useful for getting some exercise at least. Alex spent most of his time at his desk, doing paperwork or making more medicine and filling out orders for supplies. During his off time, he'd tinker and experiment with new formulas and concoctions. It was little wonder younger residents saw him almost as a mad scientist. It was quite bothersome really. The doctor eventually made his way back to the clinic, having become more fully awake now that he had walked around a bit. It was a sunny day, unfortunately. Spring and summer were easily Alex's least favorite seasons of the year. His large amount of hair made summer almost unbearable, despite tying it up a lot. However, when he does so, even long time residents of the town occasionally mistake him for a woman. He was frequently questioned about why he didn't just cut it shorter, but despite the troubles it caused, Alex rather liked his locks. Heading inside his home, his stomach grumbled a bit. Well, now would be the time to eat the breakfast Joel had made for him. Annoyingly, the priest was actually a pretty good cook, so Alex couldn't complain about that much. It certainly wasn't french toast, and was actually a little less sweet than the doctor preferred, but it was tasty nonetheless. Putting the dishes away, he grabbed his notebook and took a seat at his desk, papers strewn about the area. There was an organization to his madness, but only Alex seemed to ever understand it. He scribbled a medication adjustment for the patient he just met before settling down to paperwork and note scribbling. His front door was propped open, letting a breeze flow through the house to help cool things off.

The day never seemed to end. Once Leon looked up at the sky. It seemed to be afternoon...ish. So Leon decided to check what was next on his list, But then Leon decided to scratch that. Since his new employee use some of the medication, it was only then that Leon realized that they were low on medication. A lot of other stuff, but especially medicine. So, Leon decided to fix that. And if he remembered correctly, which he did sometimes. Alex would have something. So Leon got up and started to walk towards the clinic. It wasn't that long, with Leon busy with humming or thinking about sleeping. He almost walked into the clinic. "Ah...." Leon wondered if anyone saw that. He hoped not.

As he peeked through the front door, which was open for some reason. He quickly spotted Alex, doing what Alex does best. Which was doing thins Leon didn't understand. "Hello? You wouldn't seem to have.....well, everything...Everything" Leon grinned as he walked in. He hoped he wasn't disturbing anything, which he probably was. "I see your doing what your normally doing...that, stuff" He paused for a second to look around. "Are you busy?" Leon asked as he walked further into the clinic. He could never understand if Alex was busy or extremely bored. Maybe both, maybe none of them, Who knew? Leon definitely didn't. He didn't understand anything about medicine, he was never really sick. Never at all really, a lot of people actually wondered why he was never sick. Maybe he was weird, or just really lucky.

Or maybe he didn't like doctors.

Slipping off his sandals, Joel wandered near the turning tide of Mineral Beach. The hot sand had the priest hopping for the first few steps, until the cool ocean waves washed over his feet. Taking a small breath of relief, Joel began setting up his station. Measuring the distance of the surf, he wandered around the coast with a long pipe-like tube, tackle box, and fishing rod. Seeming to find an appropriate spot, he dug the tub deep into the wave-lapped sand, and began baiting his rod. A soft whisting sound ringed in the air as Joel cast his line into the surf. Anchoring his rod into the tube, Joel excitedly walked back to dry sand, where a chair awaited him.
Taking a moment to admire the lovely wooden chair before him, Joel sat down upon it and watched his rod, reflecting on his morning. His contemplation about David and Alex were swept aside for a moment as a smile cracked on Joel’s face while ruminating on his morning with La Rosa. The scarlet lady had given Joel the closest thing he has had to a date in decades, complete with unsubtle innuendos. A fine day of surveying beautiful art and sharing breakfast with a lovely lady is a good for the soul. Joel even managed to come away with one of La Rosa’s fine pieces, the chair he was currently sitting on. She warned the priest that this chair lacks a varnish, and it would be unwise to use it for fishing close to the water. However, Joel thinks that planting the chair farther back along the beach will suffice.

Joel sat back in the chair relaxing in the glowing sun, and eagerly waits for his dinner to bite his line.
Finding a break in the day, Pearl unrolls a sandwich out of a cloth wrapping, and sets himself a place to eat on his counter. Though he cleaned his station spotless after G had left his shop, the shopkeeper could not help but remember that harsh black soot stood there a moment ago, which unnerved him enough to move his meal to his back desk. Pearl hastily snacked upon his sandwich in the hope of finishing his meal and cleaning up before anyone catches him eating. He was especially anxious now, for he recalled that a new farmer was in town, and Pearl was eager to meet the new resident, but alas, he has a duty to remain in his shop. The new resident could wander in at any time, so Pearl found himself worrying over details that he was usually unfazed by. Thank goodness Pearl’s memory finally caught up with him, but it appeared to also cause him unnecessary stress.

Alex's pencil scratched to a halt as the doctor turned his head, giving Leon a withering gaze. Shutting the notebook, the doctor slowly rose to his feet, walking by the blonde silently before gesturing to follow him upstairs into the clinic. The boy was sweet, Alex knew that much. But a hot air balloon in a windstorm had more direction in life than he did. Forgetful, lazy, and too laid back to even guilt trip about either. He was a smidgen better than Ramone if only because Leon seemed to lack the will to actively be annoying just for the heck of it.

"I'm always busy, but never too busy to help. Everything. Would you care to be more specific or is this an attempt to move into my line of work? Should I take this as a shakedown?"

The doctor opened a heavy cabinet, where jars, vials, and bottles lined every shelf. Small almost unreadable labels were on each and every container. Pills, serums, liquids, tablets, and ointments in a medicinal rainbow. Alex had been in the village long enough to know what the inn generally needed. Basic pain relievers, stomach medicine for nausea, nothing too fancy. Pulling out a paper bag, Alex began sorting out what he figured the innkeeper needed.

"I assume you need the regular amount. Aren't you here a little early in the week for these? Did something happen at the inn that I should know about?"

The doctor paused, looking at Leon over his shoulder with a spectacularly unamused expression. Closing the paper bag, Alex walked over to a table, opening a heavy leather bound book. The ledger, containing all the medicine he sold to the villagers at any given point. His brow quirked as he looked at the last few entries, then walked over to Leon, the bag still in the doctor's hands.

"I refilled your pain relievers just a few days ago, you went through that much in less than a week? Get on the table, I'm examining you, you shouldn't need that much in such a short amount of time. Unless it's one of your tenants, in which case, send them to my clinic for an examination immediately."

The doctor then pulled the bag behind his back, frowning at Leon. The ledger wasn't wrong, and Alex was sure it was just forgetfulness on the innkeeper's part. But still, if he didn't say something now, he wouldn't get another chance until much later on in the week.

"Also, you didn't pay for the last batch of medicine. You aren't getting this without payment for both batches. Up front."

The bag of pain relievers was firmly in Alex's hand as he stretched the other out, open palm, towards Leon, raising one brow with a rather annoyed expression.

Leon paused as Alex pulled on the fact that he didn't pay, plus the many other things. "Ah...." Leon face switched to a rather awkward expression. "Well...I don't really...have the money to pay you...I will soon, I promise! But, I kinda...that..." He pointed towards the bag.

"I have a new employee, perhaps you cold even say a new person in town, She seems to be very...tired. I don't know. She used a lot of that, and I need to always have some. Keeps the people staying if you know what I mean. Don't really have money to afford the medicine though." Leon nervously laughed for a second before sighing.

"But, I'll pay you when I have the money. And If I don't, we both know that I'm not that far away. So you could come over and, break my legs...or something. So, if you could...you know..heh" Leon looked at him somewhat wide eyed. Before seemingly trying to talk about something else.

"Oh...Yes, hehe. I don't thing I need to be examined. Unless you have a cure for constantly being tired, well...okay, it's actually me being lazy. But you never know..." Leon looked up at the ceiling. "Plus, of course I would send people to your clinic if they were for instant.....decapitated, or chopped in half....But most things can be fix with some small medication and also a slice of cake. Not to mention lots and lots of sleep" Leon grinned.

Nuka had begrudgingly awoken as Alex parted, grumbling a response to him before she had gotten up and opened the blinds to force herself to be awake, though her head pounded from the sudden brightness from outside. She sighed as she looked around the room before spotting some rather empty places on her shelves, "Damn," she grumbled, remembering she had used up the last of some of her spirits recently.
She grabbed a pad of paper and dug around for a pen before sitting on her countertop, writing down the things she realized she was missing, though it took a good few minutes of looking over everything she currently had to remember that which was missing. It didn't really dawn on her until she was a good midway through the midst of her poor inventory attempt that she could have just looked in her bin outside to see what bottles where there, which would have answered the question in much more timely fashion. She groaned, hitting herself over the forehead with the spiral part of the notebook.
She decided that her defense would be that she had only just woken up and being a responsible establishment owner didn't come easily at that point in time in the process of her systems rebooting. She slid down from the counter, giving the whole thing a quick wipe down while she was thinking about it, and then walked outside to go dumpster diving for her inventory.

Despite the pairs constant feuding La Rosa and G had many similarities, in this instance the dedication to the work they do. G had begun shaping the raw stone for future orders, despite the community being small G's works had enough attention to get him special request quite often. La Rosa was using her chainsaw to recreate the skellington king. A delicate process to say the least but well worth her efforts! They wouldn't be leaving their respective shops any time soon.
