technically, that's exactly how magic works on earth. Barring the last part. I know I took liberties with the wizard powers but I wasn't sure exactly how to come up with them without ripping off that entire plot. Anyone have a suggestion for a magical world?

I might have a character that could work. The future version of "Farseeker" Xukhezur Kavinath, as described by the linked material in my signature. "Farseeker" (altered Deep Imaskari... descended from humans) 42 in biological years (about 30 in normal human years) and about 150 years since birth Male Artificer and ... a crafter and manipulator of magical objects, implements and constructs Toril (the location of the Forgotten Realms D&D setting) Curious, Competitive, Reasoned, Polite "I have already projected the rapidly diminishing probability of your success in this endeavor." Searching for viable locations to establish another imaskari enclave, and more opportunities to establish trade.

Well, a big part of the Dragon is that he is a benign phantom and a reflection of my characters personality. I will swap it to "Magic Land" from the wizard movie though. If I made that change and left the power origins the same would that be okay?

I have not personally seen the Wizard movie either but from what I understand everybody is essentially a gate and the upper class use magic. They use equipment made by the Sorceror dude to use their magic. So what if I make him a rebel that stumbled across the spell to "unbind" ones own phantom and otherwise it happened like that? not sure how to insert him in the main story afterward though.

What Wizard movie are we talking about? I've seen a number of Wizard movies.

Well, the formatting is there. I just thought there might be room for that kind of crossover from an unknown world, with a sci-fi + fantasy mix.Are the names of the data fields not showing up?
