Cellinli Lienfeld vs. Niks (Match 1)
********************

Her shiver went all the way to her spine with that laugh. It goes without saying that she wasn't planning on approaching him any time soon, especially not after that. Instead she kept her magic growing in size and power. Luckily this thing's stalling was working out perfectly for her plan to be pulled off. She could only hope things continued as they were now.

"I'm clearly not killing for the fun of it," she responded, stalling even more. "However, if it's to defend myself then I'll gladly destroy every ghost and goal in these parts. Just don't make me have to defend myself and you'll do just fine."

She held her weapons up in a threatening pose as she said that, implying that she'd use them to attack him, which would perhaps throw him off guard when she was actually not planning on using them at all, but instead would be using the ever expanding bubble of air.

********************
Evvie vs. Aurelia (Match 1)
********************

Evvie has misjudged the speed of the scythe's descent, allowing it to pierce downward into her back. She close her eyes and flinched at the expected pain, but none came save for an unexpectedly anticlimactic odd sensation that quickly passed; hardly with mentioning, all things considered. Baffled by this turn of events, she opened her eyes again to see, or not see in this scenario, that all of her opponents had vanished into thin air; exchanged for only one of them now. Her scythe radiated a great power that was formidable to Evvie's own. Now it wasn't cat and mouse, but rather cat and cat as she was challenged to one last exchange of blows.

She nodded her head and let our a "ferocious roar" before forming a three foot long sword made out of fire in her right hand. This would be her weapon of choice to hopefully deal with the scythe, and once that was taken care of and she was in close with an opening it would all be over in Evvie's favor. That extra energy was likely all just to power up the scythe, she had assumed, so any hit to her body could still take her out of commission rather quickly.

Without much of a pause she began to quickly close the distance between them, raising her fire sword up in front of her torso.

Her sword clashed with his baton, unleashing all the energy meant for her arm into the blade instead, and he instantly used his grip on her foot to jerk her toward him while simultaneously extending the blade in his left gauntlet. From where it was positioned, her raised hand would be pulled straight through the blade and the arm would be split in two for a fair length before the blade finally cut through the bone of the elbow and out of her flesh. Her own defense, unless supplemented by some unknown strength, would prove too weak to prevent this series of events from happening, and it would all be over before any normal human could even blink, such was the speed at which he moved.

If, however, she managed to fire the shot before he took the hand out of commission, he'd abandon the slice at her hand and duck down and to his own right as soon as the energy visibly coalesced, sliding his staff down the blade of her sword until it struck the crossguard and from there driving it down and back farther still, using his superior strength and leverage to push her own blade directly toward her face as he pulled her closer.

Aurelia smiled, a large grin that was as likely to chill the blood of any who saw it as it was likely to just make them wonder why she was smiling. It wasn't that it was one out of insanity, but rather the smile one had when something went exactly as they had planned.

She grabbed hold of her cloak with one hand, taking it off in one sweeping motion, resulting in her snow-white hair whipping around her face. Her scarlet eyes zeroed in on Evvie as she roared, the grin never leaving her lips for even a second. Rising to the bait, eh?

Underneath her cloak she wore a simply set of leathermade clothes. A white shirt underneath a brown vest, with a pair of loose pants covering her bottom. A pair of similarly brown boots finished the outfit. She stood and idly shifted her weight from foot to foot for a moment before she, like Evvie, took off in a frontal charge. She barely gave the sword any attention, though that didn't mean she hadn't analyzed it. Medium range, but shorter than my scythe. Made of fire so likely to cut right through my scythe, making parrying impossible. Heavy, but easily wielded by her, given her physical strength. In any case, it's shorter in comparison to my weapon. I'll use that to be advantage.

As she charged, she could feel it; feel the thrill of battle that came so rarely. Sure, the excitement and joy of seeing someone fall for her tricks was always a pleasant thing, but all the tricks of light and shadow and sound could not replicate nor replace the feeling that came with clashing weapons. She spotted a stone in front of her, stuck in the ground but otherwise reaching to her knee. Almost on reflex, she stepped up on it and took off, using it to gain the height advantage.

For what seemed like minutes, but was hardly two seconds, she sailed through the air, getting ever closer to Evvie until, finally, she was within reach. Roughly four metres from Evvie, still a bit above her and still in front of her yet out of reach from even her weapon, Aurelia mouthed two words while smiling, and then slashed down, unleashing the energy gathered in her scythe.

A massive blast, a torrent, of dark energy blasted forward from her weapon[1]; as if she had cut a great hole in the fabric of reality, a full quarter of her entire magical reserves was unleashed from her strike through empty air. Like a tidalwave of magic it rushed forth to swallow up Evvie, tearing chunks of the earth and boulders with it and tossing them back scores of metres.

She landed on the ground a good three or four metres from where Evvie had been when she unleashed the blast. Not used to use that much power, she silently mused, panting all the while. She knew she was powerful, and she knew how much damage she could course, yet she was fairly certain that she hadn't unleashed more than the dragonness could survive. I hope she survived. She couldn't see anything for the dust covering the entire area. She was fairly certain that she would only be unconscious, but regardless, she still couldn't shake the feeling that she might have overdone it.

And the words she had mouthed? "Night Night"

[1] - http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m45ppmGuQs1r3f3ooo1_500.gif Imagine this, just at point-blank and a bit less refined. She's not used to unleash this much power, so it's just a massive blast of uncontrolled magic, even if it is directed towards Evvie and not herself.

Lin vs Niks
"So you say, but which among us attack unprovoked?" Niks said, his eyes glanced at the blades. He inwardly sighed, it seemed the woman didn't learn that her blades wouldn't do much to him other than inconvenience. The size of her weapons meant it would be too big for stabbing, so it's no concern to him. He took a step forward, putting his bony leg into the faint light from outside.

Ryomi Fiett Leitannia vs. Bloodshot (Match 1)
********************

She cried out in pain as her arm was rendered completely useless, even with the high standard that vessels were able to keep their bodies moving. Not only that but it caused a ton of blood loss that instantly began to effect her. Her brain still needed to function in order to control the body, and without the blood to supply it her senses quickly began to weaken and blur. She was so disoriented from the shock that she didn't even see the damage on her arm, which was likely for the best. She crumpled to the ground, completely defeated now. There was no point left continuing this madness.

"Abandon the vessel! Retreat and re-organize at the command center!" She ordered her sister Ryomi, fighting through the pain and weakness to get out at least that much.

The two spirits zipped outward, Ryomi with a slight hesitation but knew it was for the best. It was a jarring difference; going from the worst pain imaginable to no sensation at all as they left, seeing the vessel crumple the remainder of the way to the floor at the enemy's feet. They didn't stick around for long, not able to do anything more here. The best they could do was to inform the proper authorities of what had happened so a counter-attack could commence.

Cellinli Lienfeld vs. Niks (Match 1)
********************

Cellinli snickered internally, at last able to let out some of the adrenaline from her fearful day. They'd been talking for some time now and her air bubble had reached a decent size; a bit larger than her head. She had outsmarted him! Or at least he had underestimated what she was capable of. Or maybe he really wasn't as evil as he clearly was? Whatever the case it was now her victory unless his bones were even stronger than what they felt like or he managed to dodge the air bubble popping. In the darkness it was probably hard for him to notice it drawing in closer to him as he took a step closer, revealing his freaky leg to her. Yes, he had to be super close now!

"I guess that would be me," she said, unleashing her expansion magic all at once, resulting in what could only be described as the most thunderous of bubble popping noises one could experience, similar to a sonic bomb as all of the compressed air burst outward in all directions. She was further away and even she was knocked backwards by the expanding air, causing her to almost loose her grip on her weapons as she stumbled, falling onto her butt before she could recover. This was a momentary weakness while she regained her footing, a process that took a tad longer due to her not able to support herself with her hands, but it seemed almost inconceivable that he'd be in any position to take advantage of this, if he was even still alive.

Evvie vs. Aurelia (Match 1)
********************

Evvie continued forward, expecting that it would be the type of duel where they'd get up close and personal, clattering their weapons together in an awesome manner before they settled their differences in one final exchange of blows. For a moment that appeared to be what was indeed happening, but then her opponent swung too early. Only it wasn't too early for what the attack was; something she didn't have enough time to react to more so than a shocked expression and her wings lifting up to attempt a flap to safety that would never come. She was blinded by the darkness as it slammed directly into her at full force. It didn't hurt much but it was completely overwhelming against her. She only had enough time staying conscious to realize that she had indeed been defeated and this was to be her downfall in this battle. Well that had...certainly...been interesting...

Her eyelids closed shut as she plopped down on her back onto the dirty ground, stirring up even more dust that was already circulating the area. She was already unconscious before she hit the ground. Her wings were spread out off to her sides, her arms and legs laying limply in the dead man's pose. Although defeated her expression was still peaceful, content after a hard fought battle. She almost looked comfortable laying on the dirt of the great outdoors.

The dust settled and revealed the unconscious form of Evvie. She was wounded, that much was evident to Aurelia, but it wasn't fatal at least. She swept away the remaining dust with her scythe and a weak pulse of magic. She's breathing at least. So I didn't go overboard.

She walked over to the dragonness and crouched down beside her, knees tucked up under her chin. She waited like that for several minutes, or however long it took for Evvie to wake up. When she finally did wake up, she smiled down at her and, while tucking a lock of hair behind her ear, said. "Hey. Not bad out there. How're you feeling?"

Lin vs Niks
The sudden wave of force carried Niks directly off his feet and threw him further into the house, crashing against the furniture and bounced from it. The blast itself was strong enough to cause death via ruptured organs, fortunately he has no such problem although he still felt it on his bone and his soul was rather shaken. He shakily recovered himself and tried to glare at the woman.

"That...actually hurt," he mumbled before forming a gaseous green orb and lobbed it towards her head.

Cellinli Lienfeld vs. Niks (Match 1)
********************

She let out a grin when her attack hit him at near point blank range and the maximum power that she could safely create, making it the best possible circumstances she had and likely destroyed him as he was sent flying backwards. That smile turned to a shocked expression when he got back up again moments later. She took a few small steps backwards, wondering if to run away or not at this revelation. Was she doomed to loose from the start? No, three facts dawned on her that kept her from resorting to fleeing just yet. The first was that the mysterious fog still hadn't lifted so running away was rather pointless in the long run. The second fact was that he was apparently damaged, at least to some extend, based on his weakened movements. The third was that before the dust finally settled she had caught a glimpse of a shimmering thing inside his otherwise empty abdomen that appeared to be shaken up by her attack. Common sense told her that this had to hold some significant relevance. Even if she wasn't correct, this was all she had to work with. Her air simply didn't have the destructive power to work against hard materials such as bone.

She readied her weapons, her new battle plan being to get in close to him and stab between his ribs into his central light. She could see the boney bumps of his bones pressing against the underside of his cloak, giving her a clear picture of where to target should she get the chance.

She didn't get the chance to move in while he was still struggle a bit because he formed a green blob of something that he tossed her way through the entryway. She rushed off behind cover of the wall to her right as it sailed past her head. She peeked her head in, and if he wasn't forming another of those by then she decided that he wouldn't have enough time to stop her before she could clear the distance. She'd rush in and stab into his chest cavity from both sides using both of her weapons. If he was charging another one then she'd just dodge it again when he sent it her way. Hopefully he'd waste energy that way and it wouldn't cost her any to keep dodging in this manner.

Lin vs Niks
Niks grumbled as the woman dodged. He contemplated of repeating his action but realized that she would dodge his miasma from their position and her guarding against it anyway. No, he would need to do something else....The easiest would probably be trying to bait her....though she might use that blast from earlier...but she should think it's useless with how he stood up from that...Hm, if she's looking for the miasma...Perhaps....

He inhaled while putting his free hand in front of it, as if holding a blowgun with it, another blob of green substance forming.before he exhale and launched it towards the peeking human.

As she rushed into the room she noticed him doing some odd gesture at his mouth. Perhaps it was just too dark to see the details, but it could possibly be a weapon that he was holding. Whatever the case he was certainly up to something or else he wouldn't be wasting his time doing that. He wasn't preparing for a melee battle with that pose, so it would make since that it would instead by another long range sort of attack unless he was just trying to confuse her.

Her eyes darted around to the broken furniture littering the room haphazardly, looking for cover if she'd need to break off from her attack at the last second. To her left was half of a table thrown onto it's side more or less intact, the other half a mass of splinters and chunks of wood where the table likely smashed into the ground as it was thrown backwards.

He sent another of those gas attacks her way just as her eyes went back his way, prompting her to take this escape route by lunging over most of the mess and then rolling to a stop behind the table. She picked up a few random splinters into her outfit and body but it certainly wasn't lethal and not her concern at the moment. She had closed roughly half the distance of the room but she still had a ways to go if she were to reach him and not much more cover along the way.

Now that she was closer she spotted a precariously damaged bookshelf on the wall behind him and to his right. If it fell it could cause a loud distraction and hopefully trick him into thinking that someone was behind him, at least for a brief moment. She formed one of her pockets of air next to a damaged leg and let it explode, doing enough damage on the already strained limb to offset the bookshelf as planned, causing it to begin to tumble downward. She prepared to charge again once the loud bang erupted into the room.

The noise caused Niks to turn his head toward the source, he snapped his head back to where he last saw the woman after seeing that there was only a toppled bookcase. Seeing the woman charging he would try to put his staff in between them. The fire in his soul started to mist.

She sidestepped his staff to the right, using her left weapon in an attempt to clash against the tip of his staff and keep it away from her while she would move in closer and stab with her right weapon into where an opening in the ribs should be. She didn't believe he'd be able to use any more of that fog during this time, but if he did she wouldn't have any good way of avoiding it. She just had to commit to her attack and hope it would work out, ending his life before he could get off a counter.

Niks backed away from the woman as she batted away his staff. Her thrust blade skid against his ribcage and sent him spinning. The spin sent Niks down to the ground several steps away from where he stood and also spread the mist from his chest to his surrounding as a thin layer.

Seeing the chance to finish him off she ignored whatever effect that spreading mist would do. If this attack of hers worked he'd be dead before any effect set in, and like most gas as long as she left the premises afterwards to get some fresh air she should be okay.

She collapsed on top of his position knee first in an attempt to pin him down underneath her knees and full body weight. As she did so she swung her arms inward yet again in her second attempt to stab through the gaps on his ribs on either side. Her knees would be on him before the blades hit, so he'd certainly have trouble getting out of the way of this one! She let out a smirk, victory in sight.

Niks was unable to move away as the woman pinned him to the floor. The blades passed through his ribcage and cut into the flame hovering in it. A shrieking noise emanated from the fire as it was snuffed out and the skeleton went still. Yet outside the fog still remains.
