"There are no-" Clarience gasped in some air, she squeezed some water out of her pigtails, "This place isn't that messy! No insects, no rodents, just a small mess!" She coughed slightly staring down at her clothes, "Ugh... Soiled..."

As she stood up, water began to slowly drip off of her hair and the sleeves of her shirt. "There's this thing, called subtlety..." Clarience sighed in dismay. Water was a little too much, after all, she was only in a state of shock.
She pushed her suspenders off of her shoulders and began to unbutton her wet shirt, she threw the shirt aside and went upstairs, leaving the two to converse.

The second level of the shop held her bedroom, which was surprisingly cleaner than down below most likely due to the fact Clarience never slept in her bedroom. After a few moments upstairs, she returned with a new shirt. Clarience sat back down on the stool and untied her pigtails to let her wet hair air dry, she ran her fingers through it and grumbled silently.

Estelle raised an eyebrow at Guy's request for food. "Don't you think you should be working?" she replied, jerking her head to the paint all over the floor. It wasn't nearly as bad as her attic after a week long writing session, but she then again she never had time to clean her attic anyway. "Actually, I don't think I can join you, I have to stock up on food for the upcoming writing session" she rejected. If she had agreed, she would of been able to hear her manager screaming at her to do her work, not mess around with country bumpkins.

Estelle remembered the gem he had brought up earlier, and she thought it was very lovely. While she never had much of an interest in money, she did like gems, and she owned a few necklaces herself, though she never had an opportunity to wear them. Estelle looked over at Clarience and mumbled apologies for dumping water on her. "Maybe you could go eat some food with Guy?" she suggested. Estelle didn't want Guy to have a meal alone, it would be upsetting to him, or so she assumed.

Guy smiled, thought, yes Estelle would not join him, Clarience would be nice to eat with too,or really anyone. he smiled as he stood up "well I guess I do owe you, dropping water on you and all" thought he only had 50 bucks he could get food, he had lived on an eight dollar budget and ate like a king. He stopped smiling looking at the empty canvas "h-hey were is the painting?" he panicked, putting his hands on his head "NO NO NO, we can't let that get out" he yelled running outside hoping to see it stuck to a bush, but to no prevail. He fell to his knees, his family would kill him if they saw this, they would literately stab him to death and drop his body in the forest, only to be found have rotten and eaten and unidentifiable. This would not do.

"Uh... I'm dieting, I have to manage my weight. I think it'd be better if you go with him and take a break from your job. Maybe you can get your mind off of things," Clarience raised her hands in front in defense, "A little break wouldn't hurt, would it?" She laughed slightly.

She began to tie up her pigtails in the same ball-shaped pattern like the last 10 years she's been doing it. Clarience was proud of her pink hair, as a child she never cut it and always wanted it to grow long and beautiful. Other than her art, her hair was her pride and joy, she took care of it as if it were her child.

"Have fun, Estelle. On your little lunch date." Clarience paused and stared as Guy freaked out, "Hey, don't worry, they'll never know." She giggled.

Estelle felt bad as she watched Guy panic outdoors. But Estelle feared her manager more than she pitied this boy and therefore did not even twitch to remove the painting from her bag. Her books were her top priority, and her mother had always said to put her job over others, among the many things her mother had told her. "I can't really take my mind off work, my manager would impale me if I so much as considered forgetting work. Besides, Guy here wouldn't be the only one waiting for the release of the next book" she told Clarience. Estelle then realized how rude she was being, but than again going to a lunch with this boy would be more awkward then having to write in front of her parents.

"Okay, what if we both went?" she suggested, taking her mind off the subject of her family. It seemed like the only solution, seeing as how both of them didn't really find going to dinner with him being not awkward. Estelle still felt guilty about the painting, but she definitely did not feel guilty enough to surrender it.

Guy slammed his fist on the counter, being inside before anyone noticed he had moved. "guys we have a serious problem, qwhat if the news come, they'll know, and I'll, and they'll" he was angry, thought he lived here since he was 16 he was used to his home in the desert, were you beat people and asked questions later, and thought he was usually timid, he was more fierce than a tiger on Tuesday when you rustled his jimmies. Guy pulled his sleeves up and grabbed them both by the collar of there shirts. "now listens here, the forestry would have caught it if it blew away. So one of you have it," he didn't look like much, barley weighting in at the banta weight but he knew from personal experience he could knock men twice his size out with less that 5 hits, and with all the mining he had increased the power behind his fist. He wasn't one to drop things, and he was ganna get the picture and burn it, he would burn the whole town down if he had to. If it got out he was still alive who knows who'd come to kill him, and if his family found him on a gay novel, he would have twice as many people coming at him. He sighed as he put them down, he remember the lessons he learned from his 5 years here "sorry. that was rude,'' he looked at them and smiled, almost psychotically "now would you too be a doll and give it back? then we could go and have a nice meal on me" He wasn't about to get caught again, he was done with bare knuckle boxing.

"Hold it right there..." Clarience grabbed Guy by the ear lobe and pulled him down to her level, "Do you think you have to audacity to treat a lady like that, punk?" She growled, "You better shut your fucking mouth before I rip your god damn balls off. It's. A. Drawing. Get over it, or go cry somewhere else."

"Ugh, men." This side wasn't usually shown from Clarience, she was usually very relaxed and go with the flow. Maybe it was due to the fact that she was sleep deprived and accused of something she may or may not have committed. "Filthy pigs, I can't believe this son of a bitch," She muttered under her breath.

Clarience ended up letting go of his ear lobe and turned around, clearly unhappy with his actions. "I'm going to take a very angry nap!"

Guy sighed yelling back her "sorry I just over reacted" he sighed, all those stupid racist rednecks from his old town would have backed down by the time he put a fist up, she had the courage to sleep with a murderer in her house, made him jealous. He felt ashamed, he lost it sure but that's no excuse. Guy put on his coat "I am very sorry but I should leave before she kills he" he bowed as he left. He walked to the bar and slammed the 50 dollar on the counter "give something cheap if you would" this day had turned quick, now he might have to go back to fighting, which he dreaded and he made a girl mad, which made him wanna strangle himself. He sighed, he never drank but there was an exeption. He would have to work tomorrow, so he could get anything strong. Though he made his boss out as some evil man,but he was great, saying that as he said guys life, he was a starving bum and he had the kindness in his heart to give him money.

Selena had just finished washing dishes when she heard the door to the bar open. Mimi was upstairs reading for school, so it must have been a customer.
A brunette man walked in, looking fairly pissed off. "Give me something cheap if you would." He muttered, slamming some money on the reddish oak counter.
She walked over to the cupboard and grabbed one of the clear glass bar mugs. "Cheapest drink we have is ale. Want something to eat with that?" Selena asked, filling the glass mug with the strong smelling alcohol. She didn't give him a strong type of ale, he probably didn't want to be drunk this early on in the day.
Mimi was sitting on the floor and reading ' A Guide To Nature, Volume one' a book assigned by Dasia in her room. She had finished shopping with Selena and was told to do her homework. Sighing, she set her book on the floor. 'I'm hungry.' Mimi thought to herself. 'Maybe I can take a break after I finish this chapter I can grab a snack from the kitchen.'
And with that, she began reading again, exited to have some of her sisters home cooking.

Guy grumbled as he he snatched the drink and mindlessly drank all of the bottles contents "no thank you" he said quietly, he hadn't ever noticed the amount of girls there were in this town, he felt bad for marching in here like a soldier on a farm, taking anything he so desired. "ma'am i am very sorry for disturbing you so early in the day" he said, feeling cooled of now, but still in a crummy mood about life. He signaled for another glass as slammed his head on the counter and sighed. This wasn't the place he wanted to be, his father was a drinker, and look were he ended up, in a dead with his head mailed to his place of business. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad? He was already a terrible person, ditching beating a man to death over a measly million, ditching his family in a time of need, taking a job from all the good people of the town, walking past the church and about equality like he knew something, even thought his last town was practically controlled by the kkk. He sighed again maybe he should start a side business, doing what? anything they want. Yeah he would be the odds jobs guy.

Estelle stood in the art shop, and her hand was clutched on the emergency pepper spray she always had with her. She might of sprayed Guy in the face if Clarience hadn't grabbed his ear lobe. She watched him leave the shop, and felt a sense of guilt and also victory that she hadn't started crying. But she did lose one thing, her glasses had clattered to the floor and were broken in several pieces, and now she was blind as a bat.

"Clarience?" she said blindly reaching around the floor. "Are my glasses okay?" she panicked, almost cutting her hand on broken glass.

"To be honest," Clarience murmured after cooling down from her fit of rage, "They're pretty jacked up."

She knelt down and picked up the shards from the ruined glasses. "We should go out and buy some new ones, rarely anyone visits my shop. So I can lead the way for you, maybe get you some contacts? You don't look that bad without them. Okay, let's just say if I were a boy, I would consider you bangable." She chuckled at her remark then moved forward with the conversation, "Come on, grab onto my shirt sleeve and I'll lead the way. I don't want to get out those toddler leashes."

Clarience tapped on Estelle's shoulder to signal where she should grab.

Estelle clutched Clarience's shoulder rather violently as she was lead out of the shop. "Contacts? Oh no no no! Contacts always irritate my eyes, plus I like my old glasses!" she whined. Those glasses were the first glasses she had ever gotten, she had them ever since she needed them, back when she was small. She liked the big lenses, even though they were the subject of teasing. "Do you think they can fix the old ones?" she tried. "I mean, I can go pick up the shards" she suggested, even when she remembered that would be next to impossible. Her eyes were a nice sea blue color, but she never really found anything special about them.

Estelle was really nervous, she didn't want to be led into some awkward place like her book signings usually went. Everything was so blurry though, the only thing she could tell was that she was outside. "Where are we?" she asked, blindly reaching her hand out just in case she might run into someone or something.

"We're outside, we haven't even gotten a few feet away from my shop." Clarience replied. She kept walking down the trail leading into the center of the town, "Where do they sell glasses and what not?" She looked over her shoulder to glance at Estelle who fumbled around behind her, it's strange how she managed to grip onto her shoulder for so long, she must be seriously blind.

Clarience glanced around the various shops, squinting and looking at their signs, "Huh," She murmured silently.

It didn't take long for her energy to slip away. What she thought was a energy drink from Guy was actually as potent as a few cups of coffee. Clarience slouched over and yawned, grumbling gibberish to herself. The girl began to grow awfully tired at an astounding pace.

"I actually have a few spare glasses in the attic at the inn" she told Clarience, still blindly reaching around just in case she thought she saw someone. "If we can get to the inn-" she was interrupted by bumping into Clarience, for she had slowed down. "Clarience? Is everything alright?" she inquired. She had seen her sleep around occasionally, but she never realized it was this bad. "You really should dedicate a day to resting up" she suggested, looking at what she assumed was Clarience. "I do that sometimes after I've completed a novel" she stated.

This was definitely unusual by her standards, but she hadn't had much interaction with this town. It really was a shame she could barely tell a streetlamp from a person.

Cherche honestly enjoyed working. It was relaxing to a degree and much less stressful than keeping Josh in line or watching over Luca. Okay, maybe she made the watching over Luca thing far more stressful than it should have been, but she did have a tendency to worry. Fortunately, work was never hard either. The town wasn’t big, so the inn was never terribly busy. Even if she did take care of all the finances and management aspects, it wasn’t that much work. Sure, sleepless nights happened every so often, but that was usually only around festival time.

So, when Alvin came in with the pots she had ordered, she smiled a little bit. Alvin was nice. She wasn’t close with him like she was some of the other villagers, but that was probably because he hadn’t grown up here like a decent amount of the others. None the less, he was a good worker, which was more than can be said for some people she kept in close company, and had never disappointed her in the past.

“Hey, those look fantastic. Luca will be happy.” In truth, they had been long overdue for some new pots. The last ones had been around for years, and apparently a late night jousting match with Josh and Luca using them as shields had been the final straw. At least it had been entertaining to watch. “Having a blacksmith is nice. I remember a few years where we didn’t have one and we had to pay so much more for everything because it had to be shipped here.” She was mainly talking to herself. That time did not hold a fond place in her memory, mostly because she was doing most of the delivering and metal was rarely ever light. “Anyways, how’ve you been? If you have time to talk that is. I’m sure the life of a blacksmith can get rather busy.” Or, well, as busy as things could get in this town.
