Mikael heard the knock from inside his room and looked to the door saying, "It's open. Hurry up, we don't have long before we leave."

Mikael already had the clothes for David spread out on the bed, just waiting for the vampire to come into the room. He did wonder in Trixy, who was much more versed in anything vampire than most people in the building, would approve of the clothing choices. Hopefully she did, or at least had an answer on how to change them.

With the door still not open, Mikael walked to the front of the room, opened the door, and realized why David hadn't come in. Trixy was stunning. There was no way Mikael could keep from staring, so that's what he did. He gawked, at least for a couple seconds, before shaking his head and stepping to the side to allow the two vampires to enter.

David smiled at Trixy. He wasn't the lying type. "Im not a good liar at all. But I am a fast learner." he said and nearly knocked on Mikaels face when the door opened suddenly and the man poked his head out. The Vampire caught himself in time. Mikael was obviously as awestruck as he was at the sight of Trixy but the human quickly recovered and gestured for them to come in. David followed him in carrying his weapons and laid them out on the spare bed. "Alright. I need to fit all or most of those. The leg sheathes i can do without but the forearm blades are an absolute must." David was a good shot with his dual Glocks but he preferred to use his knives up close and personal. And the Vampire could throw them accurately at fifteen yards.

Their time was short but David waited for Trixy to come in and offer her advice before jumping into clothes that might not be fit for the mission.

Trixy looked Mikael up and down, taking in what he thought of as his best outfit. "It'll work." she said simply "Especially because I don't really know what this place is like exactly, all of them are a little bit different, depending on the age of the crowd. I just have to fix something, if I may..." she said as she stepped forward towards him. "You should go ahead and put those on quickly, David." she urged the other vampire as she swiftly unbuttoned the top button of Mikael's dress shirt and brushed the crisp collar to the sides. "Vampires are pretty blunt creatures, most of us like to see some skin, especially on a human." she winked and looked up at him. He had his long hair pulled back into a ponytail and had a generally dark demeanor, he could almost pull off being a vampire himself. While Trixy waited for David to get dressed, she picked up some of his weapons laid out on the bed to inspect them.

It took all of Mikael's self control to not gasp as Trixy's fingers lightly brushed his neck as she fixed his collar. While they were cold, there was still an oddly intoxicating feeling that stemmed from the parts of his neck that hadn't been touched by another human being since his last meaningless hookup. He wasn't able to stop his thoughts from drifting to a new hookup that popped into his head when Trixy winked at him. He only hoped it hadn't shown on his face. To hide his desire, Mikael pulled his .44 Anaconda out of his coat, making sure the clip was full, and once he did that, he began to shine the barrel. Might as well have his weapon look as sharp as he did.

Mikael glanced around the room, noticing David hadn't fully dressed, but took a step towards the door indicating he was ready to head to the mission.

"Have you ever been glamoured before, Mikael?" Trixy asked as she inspected the forearm blades laid out on the bed, waiting for David to finish up. Glamouring was a mind trick that vampires could perform on humans in order to change their thoughts and feelings, mostly to make them easier prey. Any human walking into this establishment with vampires would most likely be glamoured. The Regiment probably frowned upon vampires glamouring the humans in their ranks, so Mikael would have to pretend to be, as to not draw attention. Judging from the way he seemed to be drooling over her, she gathered he wouldn't have to try to hard to look like he was under her spell.

Mikael heard the question and instantly wondered if Trixy had glamoured him since they'd met. He doubted it, so he replied, "No, I've never met a vampire until you two. They'll probably expect me to be, especially if I'll be cast as prey. Is the best way to experience it to be glamoured? If so, as long as you promise not to do anything extreme, go ahead. I want to be prepared for what may happen." Mikael was quite nervous about what it would be like, and honestly didn't like the idea of relinquishing control, at all, but he decided it would be beneficial to at least have experienced it once in order to pretend well enough to fool experienced vampires. He wondered if Trixy and David could keep the other vampires from glamouring him, or if he had to be glamoured to stop that, but he didn't ask, but instead waited for an answer.

Trixy turned to look at Mikael “I don’t know that I am willing to glamour you, the higher ups might not like it. We’ll talk to David about it and see what he thinks.” She said and placed the blade back down on the bed. “You seem like a well-studied human, so I assume you know what glamouring entails. Either way, you will need to act glamoured in this night club. David and I will be your vampire escorts, so other vampires will consider you to be ‘ours’. Regardless, there are greedy, bloodthirsty vampires out there who will try to get at you, and if they ask you, you should tell them your blood belongs to us alone. Most glamoured humans look a little bit like they are in a daze, and feel very positively about the vampire that has last glamoured them.” Trixy cleared her throat a little awkwardly “… and generally, if the vampire is of the humans preferred gender, there is a little bit of infatuation. Do you think you could pretend to act like that?” Trixy asked with a knowing half-smile, her tone emphasizing the word ‘pretend’ a little bit.

Carson stood in front of the mirror, he peeled off his casual clothing then walked over to his closet. As he popped the door open he scanned the inside, his eyes looking for the perfect attire. His hand went forward and pulled out a coat hanger containing a very suitable outfit. He slowly put on each article of clothing, the weapons he would bring with him nearby. He slid the black trousers on first, putting a simple switchblade into his pocket. Then he carefully put on an ultralight kevlar vest along gun holsters which he put on, then tucked a semi automatic pistol into each holster. Finally came his dark red dress shirt which he slid into, adjusting the collar and buttoning all but the top button.

As he started out the room he paused, looking in the mirror. He quickly rolled up his sleeves and grasped the folded FMG9 which he promptly tucked into his right pant leg. He had done a mission like this before, appearance was half of it. The other half, in case it went to shit, relied on how many guns you had on you. They had plenty, along with enough ammunition to take out every enemy in the club in case it came to that, which he hoped it wouldn't. Everything would go nice and smoothly, won't even need to kill anyone., he reassured himself as he went into the elevator, pressing the button to ground floor.

He got several odd looks from the veteran members around the facility as he exited the building. To them he must have looked ridiculous, all he needed was the makeup and he would fit perfectly in a goth social circle back in school, well, an oddly in shape, military looking goth, but still one at that. He was happy he'd have to avoid the makeup, he looked convincing enough. He reached the vehicle, the standard SUV with some heavy weapons hidden in the back. A couple shotguns, assault rifles and lots of ammo. Hopefully they wouldn't have to use any of that. Carson stood by the driver's side door as he waited for the rest of the group to emerge, leaning on the vehicle.

Marigold finished up her breakfast shift in the kitchen and hung up her apron on the hook. Carson had asked her to join as werewolf backup on today’s mission, and she was set to meet up with him in approximately 5 minutes. Mari waved a friendly goodbye to the kitchen staff that she had come to know and love in the past few weeks here at the compound.

Outside, the California breeze was warm but refreshing. The way the sunlight shimmered across the land made her hippie-heart sing, and she felt the urge to go wolf and run in the forest to enjoy nature. Maybe later, she had a mission to do now as a peacekeeping, supernatural crime-fighter.

It wasn’t long before Mari found Carson leaning against the SUV looking like a goth that lost his jacket two hours into high school prom. She couldn’t help but laugh a little bit at the absurdity of trying to fit in with vampire fashion. Mari herself wore a loose, flowery sundress, something that she could easily slip out of before erupting into wolf form and defending the other agents if necessary. “Well, I gotta admit, you certainly look like you could pass for a bloodsucker.” She said to Carson jokingly as she approached him. “Backup werewolf assistant reporting for duty, Captain!” she said and playfully saluted him.

"Yeah, thanks, I always go all in on these kinds of missions," He stated, popping off the vehicle. "Marigold, right? Vic told me you'd be coming along, he didn't say much, just that my team got scrambled around a bunch. He briefed you right? The main group goes in while you sit back, if worst case scenario occurs then I'll signal for you, and you'll proceed to charge in giving us backup." Carson stated, smiling at her, giving her a very brief rundown in case the boss didn't tell her much or was vague, which he sometimes could be.

"You also need to relay us any important information from your viewpoint outside the nightclub. Any notable figures entering the place, things like that. Best case scenario we go in, get out in under twenty with no incidents." He stated, looking at her.

"You got it boss, I'm just hoping that no fangers get suspicious of a wolf hanging out around their turf. And yes, I'm Marigold Breeze... you can call me Mari or Breezey if you'd like." Marigold said and leaned up against the SUV beside him, waiting for the others to arrive. The sun baked her pale skin a bit, she spends the majority of her time outside in wolf form, so she really never gets a tan, or a sunburn, for that matter. "I hope it goes well and violence isn't necessary, but I'll be there for you if I am needed, and my eyes will be on the look out if I'm not." she promised.

David undressed, removing his jeans and boots. There was no shame in changing in front of people. Before donning the outfit laid out before him, the Vampire quickly strapped on his knife sheathes and gun holsters, his V-neck serving as an undershirt. There was only enough room on the holsters for one extra mag per gun but David was not worried. He never was one to pull the trigger unless he could hit something so to him every bullet had an enemies name on it. And if bullets failed he always had his blades. With the flick of his wrist the forearm sheathes would slide daggers into his hands with which he could deliver swift death. The black slacks were a good fit, not too tight and not too loose. The same could be said for the dark red dress shirt which was loose enough to conceal all of his weapons perfectly. "Nice.." he said to himself as he strapped on a pair of dress shoes and turned to Trixy. "Alright.. shirt tucked in or no? and do I pop the collar or leave it as is? Oh and uh. Hmm.. I don't believe our new employers would appreciate us using glamours on team mates but if they want a mission done then we do what we need to do."

Trixy looked over at David "Untucked, definitely. This is a night club, not a business meeting... and leave the collar as is, unless you want to look like a tool." she said with a smirk. She took a few moments to think "I'll use a simple glamour, one easily explained to the higher ups." Trixy said before taking Mikael's hand and looking deep into his eyes. Her own bright blue vampiric eyes shimmered when their gazes locked "Can you hear me, Mikael?" she asked and he nodded his head yes, almost sleepily "Good! Today you will not be glamoured by any vampires but me, just this once, okay?" he nodded yes once more "If another vampire tries to look at you like this today, you will not let them meet your gaze, no matter what. And even if they do manage to meet your gaze, your ears won't let you listen to them. Just for today, okay?" Mikael gave a final positive nod and Trixy let go of his hand and broke their connection. She could have had a little more fun with him, made him feel like he loved her, or better yet that he loved David. A few years ago, she might have, but she was trying to be different now, turn a new leaf. "We should get going, I'm sure Carson is impatiently awaiting our arrival. Damn English, all the same." she said jokingly and headed outside with David and Mikael in tow. It wasn't long before she saw Carson and one of the Regiment's bitches leaning up against a standard SUV.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Marigold shifted her weight a little bit when the two vampires came into sight. It's not that she hated their kind or anything, but they were an imbalance to nature. At least with the ones that the Regiment accepted, she knew they were trying to make a positive difference, and that she could appreciate. Besides, it was better to have someone like them going into that night club instead of someone like her. She chuckled at the thought of a wolf walking in to such an establishment, like they owned the place. She'd probably be slaughtered on sight.
After the connection was broken, Mikael shook his head, as if clearing out the last bits and said, "Yeah, I can fake that. Shouldn't be too hard."
Mikael followed Trixy out of the room, waiting for David to exit, then closing the door. As they walked, Mikael noticed a new girl by the vehicle. He wasn't sure exactly who it was, but the one thing was she certainly wasn't coming in the club. She was dressed in a light dress, not the dark, brooding style of vampires. She had to be a werewolf, which probably meant there had been some switching done on the team. He silently shrugged his shoulders and headed towards the SUV.
"It's a pleasure, Mari. Just stay a distance away from the club, my plan was for us jump out a short way from the place, then you take the wheel and park it somewhere across the way, where you have a view of main entrance." Carson said as he noticed the others coming towards the SUV, looking undercover like he did. A grin almost came to his face as he realized how ridiculous they all must have looked.
"Hope you are ready," Carson said, greeting them as they reached him and Marigold. "Remember, don't act suspicious. Once the doorman sees me, he'll let us in, no trouble. After that we have to be extra careful, we'll need to find the proprietor of the club. Have a nice chat with him about why the humans that go in there aren't coming out, then after we get the answers we need, we slip out of the place." He doubted it would be that easy, there was always complications.
"Trixy, you really need to act like you're leading Mikael and I, we're your foolish human followers to them, David and you will really have to sell that point. You know how these places work, so do I. We stick to our wits, this job will be done nice and easy," Carson said, looking at each of his teammates. "Here, everyone take one of these." He said, holding in his hand some small communicators which fit snugly into the ear.
"If we get separated in there, then use these," Carson said, slipping his into his ear. "Mari, if you're needed, I'll start yelling into it.The keyword is Queen. Listen for that word, if I say it, then that's your signal to aid us. Now everyone hop in, we got a long ride ahead of us."
Carson stuck the key, then twisted it, the vehicle speeding out with the whole team inside, the gate sliding open, then quickly closing as they left the compound. The sun was still high in the sky, the worst thing they would do was drag it out where even more vampires ended up in the club. The time was perfect, they just needed to make it even more perfect. The SUV went down roads, through the small town from before, then onto the highway where it eventually entered the busy as usual city of Los Angeles. Their destination was in the downtown part of the city, the seedier part of an overall seedy place. After hours of driving, they finally reached their destination.
The nightclub came into view, nestled at the end of a street. The club was quiet, with only a small line out front. Carson stopped a short distance away, then turned off the vehicle as he exited the door, everyone else following him. He tossed the car keys to Marigold and spoke as she shifted over.
"Looks like there's an alleyway not far from the club, I suggest pulling far into that, then turn off the SUV and start watching. There's a pair of binoculars under the driver seat, remember, anything I should know about that is coming into the club, tell me. That includes anyone with guns, police, very large groups, or just any really suspicious people." He said as he turned towards the nightclub, urging everyone else to follow as they started towards it.
"Remember the plan, act like we belong." He said reassuringly.
Marigold sat quietly throughout the entire car ride. She watched the scenes fly by outside the window with her nose scrunched up a little at the stench of undead in the vehicle. When Carson halted the SUV, Mari listened to his instructions and hopped over the shifter and into the drivers seat. Cool, she was like a real lookout on this mission, binoculars and an ear piece and everything... just like a spy! "Not that I'm lazy, but I hope you don't need me!" She said to the group as a whole "But, if you do, I promise to be there in a flash." She said with a warm smile before pulling away in the SUV.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Trixy briefed David and the others on good lying techniques the whole drive over. She realized she would be somewhat of a leader in this operation because of her race, experience, and age... vampires in this club would respect and possibly trust her... maybe even try to impress her. She planned to use all of these things to their advantage. When they hopped out of the vehicle, she was nearly buzzing with excitement, she always was before a job. With extreme grace and composure, she smoothed her skirt and curtsied "Are you ready, boys?" She asked with a smile that was as devilish as it could be while still maintaining ladylike propriety.

Trixy linked her arm through Carson's before walking into the nightclub, leaving David and Mikael to partner up beside them. Donning her best smile, and with a knowing nod from the guard at the door, they stepped in. Daytime or not, the music was pumping as if it were night, the bass was so loud that it vibrated through her veins like the heartbeat she'd long ago lost. It made her want to dance, and what better way to blend in for a bit? "Care to share a dance, Englishman?" she asked with a half-smile.

The interior of the club was simple, it looked larger than it seemed from the outside. A large bar sat in the middle room, surrounded by booths and tables. To the right of the entrance was the dance floor, which was sparsely filled. Six figures grooving to the music, with a DJ in the corner going over music. To the left was a door, that said "employees only", a single, very large man standing in front of it, arms crossed, eyes forward. Carson looked at Trixy, as he formulated a plan.

"Sure, mademoiselle, it'll give us time to observe the place." He replied with a smile, nodding at Mikael and David. "You two, maybe go to the bar, get some information, find where the owner is, we know for a fact he's in here somwhere." Carson stated, quietly, but loud enough so his teammates heard but not the guard near the door.

Carson lead Trixy to the dance floor, then began to move to the music, thumping along to it. He tried not to draw too much attention to himself, partly due to the mission, partly because of all the weapons he had on him and partly because he was a terrible dancer. Still, he moved to the music, looking at Trixy, but his eyes ready to shift in case of any developments involving the mission.

Once out of the SUV David lit up one of his Marlboro Reds. He would have offered one to Mikael but the pretense was that Mikael belonged to him and Trixy. From what the young Vampire understood, his species was not kind to their servants. 'If I seem like an ass don't take it personally, its all part of the game.' He'd told the human during the trip. David looked at Mikael and nodded his head towards Trixy and Carson in a rude manner, indicating that his servant should into the club. The small line out front held no persons worthy of note, that being no one perceived as a threat. David quickly reassessed this thought however. They were all Vampires, every one of them was a potential threat.

Inside, Carson suggested that he and Mikael check out the bar scene and David thought it was a splendid idea and replied with a smile. "Sure, i could use a drink." the team split, Carson and Trixy bound for the dance floor with Mikael and himself for the bar. The establishment itself was top quality. Or rather David thought so, not being much of a club goer. Due to the daylight hour the crowd was pretty sparse and the pair had no trouble getting to the bar and getting seats. To keep up the pretense David 'ordered' Mikael to stand and buy him a drink. Jack and coke. David could sense that the Bartender had more than a few years on him. Perhaps fifty or so. The sensation was not nearly as strong as it was with Trixy so this guy should be cake if it came down to a fight.

"Light crowd, eh boss?" he said to the bartender, who was wiping a glass. David took a swig of his Jack and Coke then puffed on his red. "Give me the scoop man, I'm new in town. This place come alive at night and we're all just here to pre game right?"

Strobe lights scattered across the dance floor like fireflies. Trixy spun around to the music without a care in the world. On the outside she appeared to be a vampire letting loose, having a good time, seductive and fun. Mentally though, she was calculating the level of danger, seeking out all of the nearby vampires and probing them for information such as age and special powers – a skill she had tempered over time. She gathered that she was the oldest here and smiled peacefully, most vampires older than her slept for long periods of time, and ventured out only in the dark of the night.

Trixy spun to face Carson and flashed a bright smile before pulling him close, something that would seem like a possessive gesture to those on the outside, and perhaps she enjoyed it a little herself. “I’m going to go see if I can find something tasty to drink, my dear.” She said to him, but her eyes revealed the truth of her motives to him alone. Trixy turned on her heel gracefully and sauntered over to the bouncer, laying the sex appeal on thick. “Good afternoon, dear sir. An old girl like me wonders if this establishment has an clandestine menu, I do often seek something more entertaining than my English consort.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Marigold put the SUV into park in the alleyway that Carson had suggested to her. She quickly proceeded to unroll the windows in an attempt to air out the undead stench. ‘The least we can do is try to make it smell a little better if we’re stuck here together, eh?” she asked Kenneth, looking at him through the rearview mirror. She could sense that he was a wolf too but didn’t really know anything else about him, so striking up a conversation felt awkward. She remembered her purpose on this mission and leaned back into her seat carefully, bringing the binoculars to her eyes for the briefest of moments, scanning the area for signs of trouble.
