Kenneth had been lying silently in the back of the SUV since it had left the compound. This was his first real assignment since joining the agency, everything else had been training or involved almost no risk what so ever. He slightly paid attention the details that the leader of his company, Carson, told them. His job was to provide back up and keep watch with a woman, Mari he called her, meanwhile they were stuck in an alleyway nearby. He was a little angry about the fact that he had been thrown in with a bunch of strangers because the mission required some intelligence gathering, yet he was forced to stay behind. Not that he didn't mind lying down on the job, just he'd have preferred to stay back at the compound.

Suddenly the girl, Mari, rolled down the window to let some fresh air in. She then took the binoculars she was instructed about and took up her post to keep watch. "That's nice and all but this close to a club and we'll be smelling of cigarette smoke before long," Kenneth yawned from the back seat. "You look like you know what you're doing, you keep watch and I'll just lie back for awhile. If anything happens just call my name, hopefully they can handle their job so we don't have to do ours." With a chuckle Kenneth stretched his legs across the back seat and rested his head on his arm. He hoped the others inside weren't incompetent enough to start a fight, just so he could rest a little longer. There weren't many days off during his training. Now that he was finished, he hoped to catch up on some sleep.

"Heh, of course it does, did you just turn last night? Everyone who's anyone knows about this place," The bartender, a man who appeared in his late forties replied back, laughing slightly which caused the fangs in his mouth to bare for a split second. "What does your, 'friend', here want? Something to drink? Or are you here for our special, which will come later." He added on as he put down the cloth for a moment as he rubbed his beard then folded his arms as he looked at Michael.
Carson:

The Englishman smiled as she pulled him close, then let him go, then she slunk over the large fellow by the door. Carson shook his head as he figured out what she was trying to do, it was clever, so he, trying not to mess it up, exited the dance floor and leaned against a wall, near the entrance door, close enough to Trixy and the bouncer that he could hear what they were saying.
"We aren't that kind of club, toots." The very large bouncer replied, folding his large arms. The man stood about 6 and a half feet and was very intimidating. It wasn't certain if he was a vampire, it was possible he was simply a human who just got paid to stand by the door, not giving a rat's ass what happened behind it.

"The only things back there are the boss' office, employee rooms and private areas, only VIPs and those that work here are allowed back there." He said, reaffirming his stance. The man clearly had some training in the way of resisting being sweet talked. It would be harder than it initially seemed to get past him.

Trixy’s act didn’t falter at his dismissal. She even put on a bit of a pout before saying “That’s a real pity. I’ve been to a lot of places around the world, and I had heard good things about this club. Perhaps what I heard was through VIPs… what’s it take to become one, anyway? Money? Age?” She asked like she was a typical vampire, eager to get into the VIP section, her age would likely stave off any suspicion about her desires. A lot of old vampires cared little for humans aside from using them as sustenance, and liked to be placed in positions of power and prestige.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Marigold put the binoculars down and scanned with her eyes, finding the binos to be clunky, and her own vision superior. “So…” she directed to the wolf in the back seat “My name is Marigold Breeze, you can call me Mari or Breezy if you please. What’s your name? How long have you been a wolf?” she asked the questions in rapid fire, her tone kind and friendly.
"Usefulness is the most important trait to him, what can you offer him? Sure he likes sex and money, but he's all about his business, getting himself on top. I ask you, a vampire of your age, what can you offer him to assist him there?" The bouncer asked, noticing your quite high age. His arms were still crossed and his stance on letting Trixy in still the same, though it seems he gave her an opportunity to impress him which could lead to a way to meet the boss.
"Him? Of course, it is always a man on the top, isn't it?" she wondered if Carson would approve of her telling him what he needed to hear to let her in. So far he seemed pretty tight-lipped about the clandestine going ons of the club, so she decided it was in the best interest of their mission for her to get on the inside. "My age has allowed for many years for training in the ways thought and manipulation. I am a Mindweaver." she said to him, actually letting a bit of truth slip into her act. Trixy let the weight of her words sit on the bouncer's ears, if he had any idea about vampire culture, he would realize their significance. Most vampires could manipulate simple human thought, Mindweavers excelled in such practices and could even manipulate other supernatural creatures.
"Hmm, interesting, give me a second." The bouncer replied, rubbing his chin. He reached into his pocket, then moved away from the door, towards the bar. His mouth was moving, and saying something into a communications device in his hand, but even with Trixy's hearing, she can't make out the words over all the noise in the club. After a few minutes, the man lumbered back towards the female vampire, then blinked and spoke to her.
"The boss says you can go in, his room in the first one of the left. Be on your best behavior." The bouncer says with a serious expression, then unlocks the door behind him before opening it for Trixy. She enters the hallway that it opens to, and heads into the first door on the right which leads to a simple, small office. The owner of the club, the man the Regiment crew in his club was tasked with talking to, Earl Williams, is sitting behind his desk, typing into his laptop. The room is a simple, a desk, a chair behind and in front of it and a couch in the corner near the door. Three filing cabinets also sit on the left side of the desk.
"What is it you want from me?" He asks as he stops typing to look up at Trixy, unhappy to have what he was working on interrupted.
The bouncer didn’t give Trixy the time to ask if she could bring her ‘consort’ along with her. Not wanting to miss this opportunity, Trixy walked into the door that he held open for and then promptly closed once she passed. On the outside, she maintained confidence and allure, but couldn’t deny the pang of fear at being closed off from the rest of the group so abruptly. Beatrix shook off the fear, she had been in worse situations before and she knew she could handle her own. Trixy found the office door the bouncer had mentioned.
Seeing the annoyance of the boss-man, she decided to turn up the charm a little. “My name is Beatrix de la Croix, I came with interest in the VIP section of the club.” Trixy remembered what the bouncer said, the boss was all about business, but he enjoyed money and sex as well. With that in mind, she shifted her weight so that one hip jutted out and her body was in line with his sight and gave a seductive smile “But, based on what the doorman said, the real question is what do you want from me?” she asked, with a purposeful breathlessness to her voice.
Carson:
He watched as Trixy somehow managed to get the huge bouncer to let her in but then he shut it behind her, so she was alone in there with the nightclub owner, and if worst case scenario occurred, possibly more enemies. He was still leaning against the wall near the entrance when another, very attractive female approached him.
"Hey cutie, care to have a drink with my friends and I? They really want to talk to you, you're not like the others here." She asked, very seductively, standing in a flirty way.
"Sorry, but I came with a someone, she'll be right back." He replied, all the time he had dedicated in the past to resisting vampires showing as he thought for a moment that he had avoided a messy situation.
"Aww, come on, its not like that, its not cheating to have a drink with some friendly girls." The female vampire shot back, running a single finger down the human's arm which caused him to look into her eyes, which was a terrible mistake as he could swear her eyes did something very odd, then before his mind could process the words he wanted to say, his mouth spit out different letters.
"When you put it that way, it can't hurt to make friends." Carson said as he popped off the wall, then felt a very quick surge of pain overcome his mind, like a split second lasting headache.
"Good, I'm glad you see it that way." She replied with a lusty smile, then grasped Carson's hand as she walked towards the bar, to a table in the corner. The two happening to walk right by, and in view of a male vampire and a human currently chatting with the bartender. The seductive female then turned to Carson, releasing his hand, her cold fingers letting go.
"I'm Vicky," She said, then looked to two other beautiful female vampires sitting in the booth they were right next to. "This is Brianna and Traci, my friends, why don't you take a seat in the booth?" Vicky more than suggested, once again looking at Carson with her strange eyes. The man tried to resist, but he just couldn't and sat down in the booth. Brianna and Traci both moving very closely to him, at the perfect range to put their hands all over him. Vicky sitting next to Brianna on the left side of Carson.
"What's a handsome man like you doing in a place like this?" Traci asked Carson, placing a cold hand on his arm. He unfortunately looked at Vicky again, her eyes seemingly twisting his words and thoughts.
"I'm h-here with friends." He muttered, trying to resist at all costs giving away any information pertaining to the mission. He sincerely hoped that David and Mikeal came to his assistance very quickly, or the situation could get worse.
Out in front of the nightclub, a dark colored van drove past then into the side alleyway of it. The van stopping as three large men came out of it, then out of the alley, they were advancing towards the entrance from the left side. Something just seemed strange about the men and the van.
"Oh really now, what interest do you have in my club or I?" Earl asked, leaning back in his chair, his eyes on Trixy's body for a moment before he looked back up at her. Spinning his chair so that the front of him was facing her.
"My doorman told me that you were a special type of our kind. I can tell your almost as old as I am, a rare breed you and I. So many of our kind are young and stupid, but easy to control, obviously. It's rare to find vampires near or above our ages," He stated, then paused for a moment to take a drink from the black coffee mug on his desk. "I ask again, what's your interest in my establishment and me?" He asked, putting the mug back down on his desk.
"Well I never was really into the club scene." David replied with another swig and a drag from his vices. "But a friend of mine has persuaded me. Oh him? yea sure why not. Double shot of crown to loosen him up eh?" he chuckled with a grin, flashing his own fangs a bit. The mention of a special later on was definitely a topic he wanted to pursue. A peculiar and albeit rather unfortunate sight caught his attention mid sentence however. Carson was being lead to a corner table by a female. All well and good but something was amiss, the surefire brit didn't seem so sure of himself at the moment. Glamour. Shit David thought as he turned in his seat, clapping Mikael on the shoulder and laughing. "Looks like 'ol boys gone and stolen all the fun! Why don't you sit right here and have a drink while i go and liberate our friend of a female or two." David finished with a sly grin at the bartender, the implications obvious.
David stood and downed the last of his Jack and Coke as well as tossing the butt of his red into an ash tray on the counter before smoothly making his way over to the table where Carson was taken too. Subtly, manipulation, lies. Right… A knife to the chest would be too easy. he thought. As he approached, his tactical mind analyzed the situation. Three female Vampires, the one who lead Carson to the table being the oldest. Still, he sensed they were younger than he and the threat was low as long as he could get them off of Carson which appeared to be easier said than done. They were all over him. Under normal circumstances this would be any mans dream, three gorgeous females totally infatuated with you and unable to keep their hands to themselves. Unfortunately for the human these were not normal circumstances.
"Bryaaan" David said with a smile, arms wide in greeting. "My friend it seems as though you've gone and stolen all of the beautiful girls in the club." the closest female looked at him and he gently lifted her chin to look at him. A sharp whistle emanated from his lips. "Beauty indeed. Drop dead gorgeous." He grinned and took a seat next to her, draping an arm over the back of the booth around the female. "Do you beauties come here often?"
Beatrix noticed his appreciative ogling of her body after asking the question, it made her genuinely smile. She liked to be appreciated, it was good for her ancient ego. When he brought the black mug to his lips, the contents of it shifted, blood. Trixy’s eyes flashed with thirst briefly, it had been a long time since she fed on blood fresh from the source, and it tempted her bloodlust.
Trixy regained her composure almost immediately, pushing the thought of the wonderful sustenance out of her mind, kind of. “I have seen many years, in this you are correct. I have also spent a great many of them traveling to new places, this place being one of them. I often grow bored of normalcy, of standing still. When I saw the opportunity to find my way into a VIP section, to seek a little bit of power in this new town, I grabbed it. And here I stand.” She said confidently, leaning closer to him and the tempting aroma of blood.
~~~~~~~~~~

Before Marigold could hear the other wolf's answers to her question, she saw something peculiar. A dark van pulled into the alleyway beside the nightclub. She couldn't tell exactly what the van's purpose was, but it certainly was suspicious. She briefly wondered if this was important enough to use the communicator for, she decided it was. She pushed the button in her ear and spoke “Hey guys, mysterious dark van spotted outside club. Still watching for activity.”

Carson:

The female vampire that David sat down next to move over slightly, towards her friend. There was something strange about the trio of females, they seemed to be fawning over the human, but not other vampire males. Carson looked at David, avoiding making eye contact with Vicky. Before he could say anything, she spoke, replying to David.

"Only when men like this beautiful creature are here," She said, then turned to face Carson, extending a hand as she ran it on the side of his face, briefly running it along his bearded face. The human trying at all costs not to look into her spellbinding eyes. "Do you know this guy, honey?" She asked Carson.

"Y-yes, he's my roommate, Donny, he's a very cool guy. We were just about to head back home." Carson said, looking at David, trying not to turn to Vicky. The two other females vampires still running their cold hands all over him.

"Why would you possibly want to leave? All the fun's about to start, well, once the sun goes down." Traci, the vampire to his right said, seductively, grasping onto his arm.

"I have work tomorrow morning, don't want to be hungover for that." Carson said, a straight lie but a convincing one.

"You don't have to worry about that at all, you should just stay here with us, we're your friends." Vicky said, looking right at Carson who appeared like he was about to try to hop out of the booth to safety, but was the vampires weren't having it. At that moment he heard the communicator in his ear go off, the voice off one of his teammates alerting them to a mysterious van which parked near the club.
"Is that so? You could be of use, I might let you in one a little secret operation my friends and I are running, it's not technically legal, but its not like anyone's getting hurt from it." Earl replied, folding his hands together on his lap. He either was a fantastic liar or was actually telling the truth, but the fact remained that humans were disappearing in his club, he had to at least know something about the disappearances.
The three figures that emerged from the van had reached the door of the nightclub, one of them was chatting up the doorman and they were in some friendly conversation with each other. The two other figures behind the chatty one stood with their arms crossed, likely waiting to be let into the club.

“No one’s getting hurt?” Trixy asked somewhat incredulously “Well, that’s not much fun.” She said and sat down in the comfortable-looking black leather chair in front of his desk. In that moment, the message from the wolf on lookout came through her communicator. Without missing a beat, Trixy continued conversing with Earl.

“I had heard through the grape-vine that humans often come into this place but aren’t seen exiting. I original came her in hopes of some clandestine menu options, but your bouncer said you weren’t that kind of club. A pity, places like this were a lot more fun hundreds of years ago, especially in Paris. But, you sure have intrigued this old heart with the mention of secrets, as very few manage to hide things from one such as myself.” She leaned forward onto the desk, her elbows on either side of her chest, enhancing her corseted assets. “How might I be of service to you?”

~~~~~~~~~~~
Marigold slunk down in the driver’s seat of the van, as to not be spotted. She kept weary eyes on the three figures exiting the van. It looked like they were trying to get into the club. One seemed like a leader that was chatting up the doorman, and the other two seemed more like backup men or followers of some sort. She pressed the button in her ear again “Three people from the van attempting entrance into the club, one seems to be leading them.” She explained briefly.
"Well, that's not my business, the humans disappearing, I know next to nothing about that. My old friend, Cyrus, he's the one that deals with that shit, I just owed him a few favors and in turn let him use the storage room of my nightclub for whatever he's doing with the humans. It's not like I use the room much anyway. Besides, he said when I asked him about it that the humans were 'being made better' from whatever happens to them back there. Whether that means he's taking some of their blood or turning them into beautiful people like us, I felt it would be rude to harass him with questions about it. I've never found a dead body when I've gone back there though." Earl stated, taking another drink from his mug.
"I deal in less mysterious business, you know, a little prostitution racket, though I'm not asking you to get involved in that," He said, putting the mug down. "My main side thing is um, the trading of illegal wares, whether they be firearms, drugs or paraphernalia. I just let some of my friends from the south run their trade through my establishment, they give me a decent cut for it.," He said, sitting up in his seat. "I always need someone to help me with that, you know an enforcer maybe, someone to go after those that don't fully pay for their newly owned stuff." He seemed to be drifting away from the information you came for, about the humans going missing.
Trixy was mildly displeased with the turn in the conversation, although any information she gathered would be beneficial for the mission. She took a few moments to gather her thoughts and consider her words carefully. With a smile, she began “I have owned a few brothels of my own in the past. I don’t know that bounty hunting is much of my thing, though.” She wondered why he didn’t just use that beefy bouncer guy for such means. “But” she began a suggestion “I could be of use convincing people to pay their debts, a lot can be done with a few tweeks of the mind… human customer or not.”
She stood up from the chair and smoothed her skirt gracefully “Might I have the night to decide? I worry for my consort being left alone in a club full of young vampires. They so often don’t know their place nor how to respect the things of their elders.” She extended her hand for a business-like handshake “It was nice to speak with you, Mr…” Trixy waited for him to finish, having never caught his name.
"Williams," He replied, grasping Trixy's hand and shaking it. "If you do decide to take up the offer, just come back another day. I'm almost always here during the daytime." He said as Trixy exited his office, the door closing behind her signaling that Mr. Williams was busy with work, likely whatever he was doing when the female vampire walked into his officer.
There vampire handshake was cold and firm, like to marble statues grasping each other. She wanted to inquire about Cyrus, but he seemed tight-lipped about his supposed “old friend” and also in a hurry to get back to whatever he was doing before her arrive. Trixy smiled at her successful participation in this mission and wondered idly what the boys were up to as she headed back to the door guarded by the bouncer, not before peeking around in the hallway a bit, of course.
When she exited through the door way, she shimmied by the enormous bouncer and gave him a wink “Thanks for everything, toots.” She said to him, using the same demeaning word to address him as he did to her earlier. To get her respect, you had to earn it, and he certainly hadn’t with his rudeness.
She scanned the club, noticing immediately that Carson wasn’t where she had last seen him, and neither was David. Before panicking, she used her sense to locate them off to the side in a booth. She noticed the gaggle of female vampires around them and her lip curled up a bit in… jealousy? She knew that it was important to keep up the act and try not to get in a fight, but this would be a believable addition to the act. Of course an elder vampire would be upset to see her consort being toyed with by a bunch of amateur vamp sluts. It also helped that she currently had the backing of the owner of this establishment on her side. She strutted over to the table with fire under her feet. “He is not available.” Trixy growled trough a tight, fang-toothed smile, her eyes a cold, steel blue glare.
Carson:
The vampires looked up at the new arrival, they all backed off of Carson who nearly sighed in relief at the arrival of Trixy. He popped out of his seat and stood next to her, a smile on his face.
"There she is, she just went out to the car to get something." He lied, placing a convincing arm around her. "It was really nice meeting you all, but my group and I have our own table we're gonna sit at, I'm sure there's others who'd want to meet you three." He said with a nod, then gave David an expression to come with him, then the same look to Mikeal. Then he moved away from the table to the other side of the bar and found an empty booth, sitting in it. Ushering his companions to do the same.
"So what'd you find?" He asked Trixy, carefully choosing his words and not saying them too loudly in case of wandering ears around the bar.
Trixy went to the bar to order a drink before heading over to the booth to chat with the others. She wondered if Carson would mind if she ordered a more vampire friendly drink… he probably would, so she decided on a glass of Green cChartreuse. It was hard to find the French liqueur in the States, but it was popular in gothic clubs and vampire bars.
Beatrix made her way to the booth with David, Mikael and Carson. She sat next to Carson, shielding him from the three female vampires and leaning close to him to keep up the act that he was hers. She quietly began explaining “Talked to the big man, Earl Williams. He is pretty strict to business. Runs the place with a prostitution ring on the side as well as an illegal drug and weapons trafficking thing. He gave me a name in regards to the missing humans. An ‘old friend’ named Cyrus that Earl owed a favor and in turn lets him use the storage room for whatever he does with the humans. He mentioned something about the humans ‘being better for it’ and that he has never seen a body come out. Perhaps he is creating his own undead army?” Trixy suggested and took a swig of the powerful drink. The herbal elixir exploded in her mouth and she let out a pleased groan. She was thirsty for blood, but the high alcohol content would have to do for now.
"Interesting, so he isn't the one who's running the operation causing the people to go missing," Carson replied quietly, rubbing his chin in thought. "How do you think we should proceed? Maybe there's a side door, but it could be locked from the outside. I doubt we can just politely ask the large man by the door to the backrooms to step aside and let us through, so we need another way back there." He stopped, mulling over ideas.
"Also shooting our way in is the last thing we should even think about doing, not only do we not want to make this a public incident, it also would more than likely cause the man we're supposed to catch, this Cyrus, to flee." Carson said, making it clear they wouldn't be trying that method. He waited for his teammates to pitch in any ideas.
Kenneth groggily rubbed his eyes after being awakened by Mari's shouting into the ear piece. He remembered hearing her ask a question before he dozed off. Scrambling in the back seat he finally managed to untangle himself from his seat belt. Luckily she was too focused to see the embarrassing display he had just put on in the back seat of the SUV. Finally he managed his way up and said "W-What's all the racket about?" Kenneth pulled himself forward so he could see what was going on, with his head now resting on the corner of Mari's seat. "Well... That seems like reason enough to wake me." He stated, still half asleep, in response to the new arrivals at the club. "So what do we do now? I don't think we should pick for a fight with them still inside." Kenneth let out quiet yawn, trying to keep himself awake until they received their orders.
