Also wanted to present this amazing collaboration tool! Originally I was being greedy and keeping it to myself and a few others but now that there are people trying to join with Cypher's group, collaboration with everyone is inevitable! This synchronized document is ideal for collaborating so that you can essentially have two characters converse and interact with each other while avoiding the "don't post one liners" rule. At times, one line is really all you need. That way you can work together to create a decent sized post with two characters interacting.

There are some rules outlined in the doc already. It's use is pretty simple and you might even find it fun.

Pirate pad! I used to use that in an old RP.

First time hearing about it, but it seems cool. It will be useful for character interactions, especially in Cypher's group.

I used to use Etherpad but then the servers went down for it so I switched to Pirate... It's basically the exact same thing.

It's extremely useful. Some Advanced roleplays use it.

Thanks! Sounds great. I've never used the pirate pad thing, never heard of it before, but it sounds great. When I get a chance I'll look it over. My sister is staying at my place for a few days so I'll find time to read up and post!

Ooooohhhh!! I'm seeing so.e big things coming! This story is unraveleing nicely! After I read your link Exit I have some ideas. They might already be in motion. Very exciting! What makes it all works is the quality of every ones posts!

Uuugghhh....I can't help but hate and love Cypher. Awesome character but seriously....he's like a cult leader. Hahahaha I don't think Eliza and Geoffrey are going to really like him all that much. LOL

Anwyays, its so amazing how far this story has gone and where it will go. You are right Kaiden. its so spectacular because the level of detail and emotion that people put into their wiritng is outstanding. It really does feel like a book, reading page by page, uncovering more of the mystery, background, characters, plots, connections, lore....its got a different character for everyone, so anyone reading it will like at least one of the characters. Not to mention the story progression is smooth and on point, making it interesting and enthralling. This could easily be adapted into a novel, or anime, t.v., movie. It's solid storytelling, with solid characters, solid story progression, solid settings. There are many characters, but it isn't a jumbled mess like one would think. This is definitely the best RP I have ever been in on this site and definitely the longest I've been committed too. Most seem to fizzle....but not this one. Eventhough we are technically in casual RP, our amount of writing and level of detail is more advanced for sure. Its structured and grounded, but relatively open for people to add in new things to give the story new twist.

And to be honest, its nice to see that Cypher's group is finally coming into play, where as before, he appeared here and there sporatically, but now...I can definitely see his role is going to be much greater. Main antagonist maybe?

OK so forgive my dumb question here: how exactly is the collab used? Do you make your story plots in secret there? Do you co-write posts and then appoint someone to copy and paste to the real rp here? Can you elaborate for me Exit? I want to make sure I understand and use it right.

Yeah...i seldom do it, but usually I only do it when necessary. Like...when i feel like people don't really have a grasp or remember what she looks like. I also added an audio clip of her singing, just for fun. When im really inspired sometimes I like to make my post interactive. Haha Glad you like it though. Hahaha

I changed Kaiden's falcon to a female.

@Chesire let me know if you have any problems with my character. I was too impatient to wait so I posted but I can always edit or retract

@Merman Nice, I didn't notice the singing part, I'll have to look at that again. Kaiden is enthralled with Cypher so it will be interesting how he interacts with Eliza seeing as she is a bit skeptical of him, especially Geo.

Sorry I haven't been too active last few days. One of my friends girlfriends broken up with him and He's been forcing me to watch One Tree Hill with him. He's more of a girl than I am. Lol.

YES!!!! Me too! I've noticed that too. There are like mini character stories within the story, which I LOVE!!! Gives it so much more depth.
