Jhett tried to sit up, if he sat up he felt that he would have a harder time of falling asleep. His vision swam, but he told himself he would not lie back down, he watched at the two girls made their way across the beach to go into the wreckage of the ship. He hoped neither one would get hurt, the thing was on fire in certain parts and he wasn't even sure what part of the ship they were entering. He glanced at the other boy who was injured and wished to himself that he just had a burn on his leg, he could feel that blood was still seeping out of the makeshift bandage Yvette had secured around his head. "God damn this hurts, is it really that bad? That I need stitches?" He needed to keep talking, the more he talked the better chance he wouldn't fall asleep.

Oh, cool, Kaleb wasn't alone. Awesome. Except how did he know this wasn't an illusion? No, wait, it was totally real. At least he hoped so. He waved over to the girl, breaking into a jog to catch up. Once he got close, he stopped, hands on his knees as he caught his breath. Seems like drinking all that salt water from the ocean was catching up to him. That or he had run too fast. Either or. He let out a great breath of relief, though straightened up and gave the girl a little wave. "Boy, am I glad to see someone else around." He panted slightly.

Yvette glanced worried after the girls, feeling guilty for not going but at the same time convincing herself it was for the best. After all, this other guy was threatening to go if he had to be on the beach alone. ”What is your name?” she asked him, wincing slightly when she would catch a glimpse of the burn on his leg. She looked back to Jhett when he asked if it was really as bad as she made it seem, hesitating before sighing and taking off the remnants of her shirt, thankful he swimsuit top had stayed on, and pressed the wad of cloth to the back of Jhett’s head. ”Well, it’s not very long, but it’s deep is all. With a lot of bruising which may have caused a concussion I guess,” she said, having no idea of his real injuries. She wasn’t a doctor after all. ”It’ll be okay though. You’ll both be fine when the girls get back,” Yvette smiled optimistically for the boys.

Brooke smiled, "Me too! I don't know if there are any other survivors I thought I heard and saw three people over there, but then well I am rather clumsy at the moment and I tripped and rolled down that embankment there. Thankfully I didn't crack my head open on a rock or something. I am hoping that more made it off the wreck." She pointed behind her to where you could see the ship, still on fire just off the coast of whatever island they were standing on. "My name is Brooke Tomberlin. Let's stick together and try to make it through this to get help out here."

Jhett smiled up at Yvette and placed his hand over hers and squeezed it. "Thank you Yvette, you don't know how much your kindness towards me means to me." He looked up at her and realized she was quite beautiful. He hoped that he wouldn't die, because if they were going to be stuck on this island, well he was going to get to know her. And he would protect her at all costs, along with anyone else. "If I can get this bleeding to stop, I can make a bow and arrow, and I can make sure we have meat to eat...."

Pain shot across Kyle's right leg as he woke to the sight of the burning vessel a few hundred yards out. He looked down at the leg, and saw a jagged piece of metal sticking out. "Great... First the ship sinks, now I may have to amputate my leg" he said out loud. Kyle knew it was extremely unlikely that amputation would be necessary, he just has a tendency to pick the worst possible outcome. He managed to get his body into an upright position, then pulled his leg closer to himself in order to examine it. Blood soaked the leg, and the sand around it as he examined the wound. Kyle grabbed a hold of the piece and gently tugged on it. Extreme pain shot through his body, and he let out a shriek of pain. That was when he realized it. He would have to cut it out. He looked around, and saw nothing he could use as a knife. Then, he saw it. A person far out. Kyle's hopes began to rise, as he hollered in the direction he saw the person.

Jhett heard a shout and looked out to his right, no one had really bothered to face that direction but he saw someone further out sitting on the beach. "Hey! Another survivor guys!" He started waving his arms above his head, "Over here! We are from the boat also. Are you okay or are you injured?" Jhett couldn't move the injury on the back of his head was still bleeding but not nearly as bad now, but every time he made too big of a movement the dizziness came flooding back into his eyes.

Hope filled Kyle's heart as he yelled back

"I'm badly injured! Need a knife and an extra person over here, A.S.A.P!"

Jhett cursed under his breath, he had a knife in his pocket right now. He could help the boy but there was no way he could move without passing out. "Okay, we have someone going on to the ship to get first aid supplies, I have a knife, but I wont make it to you. I have a bad head injury, that is currently impairing my ability to walk! We will come get you as soon as we can!" Jhett hoped the boy would make it. He had climbed up a wall of rocks to get to this group of people, and it had nearly killed him with all the blood that was all over his back and on the sand behind him. He hoped the boy would be okay till the girls came back with the first aid kits.

Kyle paused for a minute, doing some math in his head, trying to calculate about how long it would take however was on the ship to get back.

"...Alright. I'll be here"

Luc decided to follow, thinking about what Bobby had said about his burn. It surely FELT like it should have been a third degree burn. He got up cautiously and followed along.

Angel glanced at Bobby beside her as they ran towards the ship. The girl was older, taller, and looked stronger. Angel wasn't sure what help she herself was going to be on this ship - perhaps her small stature would help her out?
"I'm sure the guys will be okay. Head wounds always bleed a lot, and that burn wasn't even in the third degree." Angel pointed out pointlessly, hoping to find some light in the situation.

Bobby merely shrugged as her and Angel made their way to the ship. "I suppose you're right," she said wondering how Angel knew all this medical stuff. Who knew but it would be helpful in the situations to come.

Once they made it to the ship, Bobby looked up at it, trying to find the entrance she has seen from back when she was showing Luc. "Here," she said, pointing to some sort of metal protrusion up on the outside of the boat. "If we find something to step on to get us higher, we can grab onto that and hoist our way into the boat."

Kyle sat on the beach, looking at the jagged piece of metal that protruded from his leg. Without a knife, he couldn't do anything but sit and wait for the people on the boat to get back.

"C'mon... Hurry up" the boy muttered as even more blood began to slowly seep out of the wound. He estimated that he had roughly around 6 hours before he passed out from blood loss, and 10 hours before he dies.

Yvette blushed deeply when Jhett squeezed her hand, surprised at any sort of kindness shown back to her and causing her to smile softly. ”Oh being able to hunt will be a great asset. Now we definitely have to get you fixed up,” she smirked, trying to cheer Jhett up a little when she heard someone holler. She moved Jhett’s hand to hold her shirt to the back of his head while she let go and stood, putting her hand above her eyes to block the sun while she looked out at the boy Jhett was yelling back and forth to. ”Here if you want I can take him your knife,” Yvette said, unsure about leaving these two injured boys to help the other. Seemed like the sea gods hated the men at the moment.

Angel glanced around, looking at the various bits of debris scattered around the ship. It didn't look like anything would be useful - they could try one of the rocks, but it would be way too heavy to move it.
"Hey, maybe you could lift me up? Then I could probably throw you down a rope or something - there should be on up there." Angel suggested, peering up at the metal thing sticking out. With a boost, she could easily get onto it.

Bobby eyed Angel suspiciously. It wasn't like her to offer such generous help. But she figured, she would only make things worse by opposing. Besides, Angel seemed like an honest person.

"Alright," Bobby said slowly, getting on her knees and locking her two hands together to create a platform. "Step on my hands and I'll lift you up."

Placing her foot on Bobby's hands, Angel was lifted up with ease - she was pretty light, to be honest. Grabbing onto the metal thing, she leaned on it to see if it would fall or anything. As it didn't even wobble, she gave a sigh of relief and heaved herself up onto it, standing up uneasily. Peering over onto the boat, she smiled as her eyes caught on something.
"Oh, it's okay! I can see a rope now! And..." She cut off with a small gasp, covering her mouth. There was someone laid next to it, his back facing her, and lying incredibly still. What looked like blood covered the wet deck. "I think there's... a dead guy." She said softly, as if hoping not saying it aloud would make it not true. She'd never seen a dead body before. Never really been close to death either.
A determined - yet queasy - look set in her face, and she lifted herself up to the deck, easing herself over the side of the boat and landing on the slippery deck. Because the boat had been cracked in two, the angle of the ship was going upwards, so she all but crawled up to reach the rope, which was hanging around a large metal loop that looked to be snapped off. Inching forwards and trying to avoid the pool of blood around the guy - who she was trying very hard not to look at - she grabbed the rope and unhooked it. Backing away swiftly, she attached one end of the rope to a pole set in the deck, and threw the other end overboard towards Bobby.

"A dead guy?" Bobby asked from the ground. The thought had totally escaped her mind that there wood be deseaced bodies all over the ship. After all, she wasn't even sure how many people had survived.

She jumped up and grasped the rough material of the rope, stressing her upper body muscles to climb up the rope and stand on the odd metal protrusion near the top. From there she jumped onto the deck neck to Angel - and next to the dead teenager. Being slightly interested and being one not to get squeamish, Bobby lightly rolled the guy over to reveal his face - which was barely recognizable as human. "Jesus," she cursed under her breath. She decided to roll him back to the position he was out of respect.

Before setting in motion for the route to the staff room,Bobby grabbed the rope from the side of the boat and tied a large piece of metal debris to one end, and kept it tied to the pole on the other end. She then tossed it up towards the direction of the staff room. "In case you lose your balance, grab the rope," she told Angel.

Angel felt better as Bobby hoisted herself up onto deck beside her, but had to look away after seeing the dead boy's face. The broken off bit from the rope hook was embedded in his face - he had obviously fallen on it in the crash. You could still see the jagged metal edge protruding from the ruin of his face. Angel hoped that she hadn't know him before, because that made it all the more worse, for some reason.
"Good idea." Angel complimented Bobby as she looked at the rope, and the two began their unsteady ascent towards the staff room. Hopefully there would be sufficient enough first-aid in there. "I think once we get the medical stuff to the injured, some of us should come back and look for food and water. And maybe some blankets too." Angel said to Bobby, wobbling slightly and grabbing the rope as they walked up. There was bound to be some fresh water somewhere on the island, as she had seen birds and even some rabbits holes further in the forest - she just doubted anyone would have the energy to find the source, or any food, tonight.

Kyle's body couldn't wait much longer. He had easily lost a little less than half the blood in his body, and was still bleeding badly. Kyle began to mutter under his breath as he lay down in the bloody sand, waiting.
