A new year has begun, 2020 to be more specific, and a resource crisis has begun, the economies of the world are beginning to collapse as new diseases begin to spread and many nations begin fighting for everything that remains. Lead 1 nation of your choise and name it anything or unite 2 smaller countries (the size of South Africa or less) under a new name and lead it through these troubling times filled with conflicts and disasters. Maybe you'll make new friends or new enemies, try to escape the collapse through conquest, diplomacy, or just brace for impact. The new technology being introduced hardly helps the situation and only supports war, hopefully technology to stop this apocalypse will be made soon.
Ok regarding the world basically it's real life but in an alternate 2020 where most resources (Coal, Iron, gunpowder, gold and a ton of other things) are nearly depleted and of course everyone is fighting over what's left of them and you take control of 1 large nation or 2 smaller nation (Again size of South Africa is the limit.) and you can rename it if you want (Example: Spain and Portugal=Patria.) along with your leader. Also since most resources are almost gone you'll be very limited in what you can use (Unless you find a way to use renewable resources) and to get more you must trade or conquer.
On to the economic issues, Everyone's economies will suck so expect massive inflation and Uprisings.
Next up the plague, Everyone is getting hit by diseases here, Ebola all over Africa, some new ALS like disease that kills in only a matter of days in America and Europe, and a small pox rip off in other areas and your nation is also looking to find a cure to these plagues. Oh and also NPCs won't really do anything since I won't be controlling them but I will be controlling certain events that go on in other player's nations.
