Enjoying his time with Suki, Umichi remembered something. "Um... Yui and Timi plan to do Sasamaru's Daughter right?" He asked Suki, some concern in his voice. Remembering back to when they did the quest, he remembered three things. First was the other large nepent that appears afterwards, another was the fact the glitch that happened to that day and that one of the prerequisites were to survive or escape a Little Nepent hoard, which Yui did with the party, but not Timi. Luckily, no other glitches were recorded since, and there has been people completing the quest with no problem, so that part should be fine. Sending a message to Yui, it read, "Hey. Be careful with the Large Nepents. One bigger and stronger one with a flower will appear after you kill the first lot of Large Nepents. They will take you a while to kill, so don't over exert yourself. Also, is Timi just tagging along with your quest, or is she doing the quest as well? Because I doubt she would of faced a Little Nepent hoard yet, which is a prerequisite. If so, I don't think the two of you should tackle the hoard alone. You should remember the sheer number of Nepents. Anyway, be careful. Take care."

"Man ... that was ... a painful day, to say the least." he sighed, remembering the excruciating pain. It wasn't that no pain at all could be felt in Sword Art Online, it was that it was more so proportional to the health bar. The pain is usually blunted to protect overstimulation of nerves, however, a glitch occurred that day, turning the pain thresh-hold down, meaning increased sensitivity to attacks/damage. "Anyway ..." Umichi's words trailed off for a moment, as he threw one of his throwing knives, using <<Single shot>> into the skull of a Frenzy Boar, killing it. " It seems we are supposed to find some hut in these woods." he continued, stopping in front of the woods they had just approached. There was still a while before they would be close to the hut.

Umichi let out a sigh. "Don't tell me, more Little and Large Nepents. They are quite annoying. At least they are the Large Nepents will give some actual exp for me, unlike the Little ones." he started to complain a little. Although he complained, he was happy to be with Suki. She was what gave him hope, the one he felt most comfortable with, and had a fun time with, just by being with her. He then thought of an idea, as he stepped into the woods, with Suki. "If the quest can be done independently, let's do a batsu game (punishment game for those unfamiliar with what I am saying)! We do it independently, and whoever finishes first wins. And the winner gets to order the loser to do one thing. Any thing. Oh .. but I will probably have an advantage since I can kill faster .... shall we have a handicap?" Umichi suggested to Suki.

Drawing his Anneal Blade, he had detected a couple of enemies. He was glad he had his <<Detection>> skill equipped. The enemies had not noticed them, and they were not aggroed. Slowing his pace, he put his hand up, indicating to Suki to stop. "Three at fifteen meters one o'clock and two at twenty-two meters eleven o'clock. Which do you want?" Umichi asked Suki. Both had a large and little nepent.

Yui - Horunka village <<8>>

It was cute that Timi seemed afraid of the man standing behind her all the time. No wonder she was the man almost reached the ceiling it seems. He started talking about his daughter, This was the crucial part of the talking they needed to get his attention to look for his daughter and not find her so that he would give the quest to them "Is she around, We would love to play with her a bit." The mans voice vibrated through her body again when he spoke "She went to play outside, She should be home any minute now, You can meet her when I repaired your weapons." Yui gave a nod at the man and noticed something on her arm. She gave a giggle while covering her mouth poorly at Timi that was pulling her arm in desperation of some food "All right, All right we will do like I sayed before and get some tasty food." She gave a quick glance at the time to see when they can pick up their stuff and perhaps do the quest "We'll be here in 30 minutes again" She smiled at the man and pulled Timi along with her out of the store, Not that she didnt want to go out and get food. They walked down the street with only some small stores around the place, They didnt offer much but it had to do for now. A small store with all kinds of bread was standing on the side of the street. The breads where neatly alligned like the woman took houres to do this "I would like a melon bread" she looked over to Timi "You can get what you want ill pay for it." She waited for the woman to hand her the melon bread and Timis food and gave a small bow to the woman before leaving again. She sat down at one of the large trees and slowly started munching the bread

Suki was sure that Timi and Yui would be alright, and she said as much "Yui will be okay, and so will Timi. She's been with a group before, so she's probably come across a Nepent hoard before. they'll be okay" She had to believe that, believe that they would be okay, or she'd worry greatly and have to go check on them. Yui was skilled, and timi had survived in Tobana and the surviving areas for a while now, even if suki hadn't seen Timi's abilities, she would feel confident in her. That was harder then just assuming she wouldn't be okay. She put faith in their abilities. She remembered the day, thinking about it. It had been a hard quest for early on in the game, but it had been a good quest.

"it was a hard day, but we did well on it, and we were lower levels then Yui and Timi. So they'll be okay" Again, she had to believe her words, or she'd go and check on them. "Finding a hut in these woods might take a while" She said, not minding at all. Walking int he woods was fun, and they hadn't done it for a while.

Suki stopped when Umichi indicated that she should, looking up ahead. Suki didn't mind fighting the little and Large Nepents. They were different then fighting the more common Frenzy boars and Direwolves. "If we're doing a game, I'd much rather no handicap. I'll be fine" She said with a smile, "I'll take the three" She said, already beginning to run, still having her <<Sprint>> Skill activated from this morning, running fast towards he three, her rapier in her hand.

She attacked first to the two little nepents with <<Linear>> and <<rip Ravine>> killling them easily, using both her agility and her sprint ability to kill them quickly, also pleased she had equiped her acrobatic's skill, and had been training it as well. She jumped, dodged and spun away from attacks as she faced the Large Nepent. The rapier weighed less then the anneal blade, and she moved easier with it. She continualled attackd the Large Nepent with <<Accel Stub>> and <<Above>> and <<Rip Ravine>> switching between them until she had the Larage Nepent killed.

She didn't loose much health, and she was proud of herself for that, looking over to Umichi to see if he was finished too. She suspected he would already be finished, but she didn't mind.

TImi quickly ordered some food, saying please and thank you as she did, before sitting down with Yui. She watched the people in the town, but when she finished eating her bread, this time leaving crumbs on her face, she looked up at the sky. clear blue, and it almost matched the real world blue. Sometimes she missed seeing the real sky, but today it was a warm spring day just about, and she leaned back against the tree, closing her eyes for a few moments. Perhaps a few moments became longer then they should have, as she drifted into a slight sleep

Umichi

"If you say so, but it's more likely to give me an advantage you know? Who knows what I may ask of you." Umichi jested. He had no idea what kind of command he would give. As Suki went off to fight her three, Umichi jogged a little to his two. Taking an easy slice through the Little Nepent without even using a sword skill. It was a simple cut, that finished the Little Nepent. That was just how far he was above the Little Nepents. Turning to face the Large Nepent, he waited, letting it attack him. He waited, the attack approaching ever closer, before barely side stepping the charge. He got touched slightly, losing hardly any health. Damn, couldn't react fast enough at the last moment. Lunging, he used <<Sonic Leap>> to close the gap between himself and the Large Nepent that had charged by. Dealing some damage, with a post-motion that was almost non-existent, he used a <<Vertical Arc>> dealing a large chunk of it's health, till it had about 15% of it's health. Must have a lot of health or something. As his short post-motion was finishing up, the Large Nepent went to attack him again. As the post-motion finished, all he did was lift his sword and it pierced itself into his blade, killing itself.

Walking to where Suki was, he watched as the girl was starting to get accustomed to her Rapier. The speed of which she was thrusting was slower than he had expected. Still fairly fast, but slower than expected. Is it because she's not used to it, or the weapon or something? Umichi pondered for a moment. However, it was en-capturing, watching the small girl with a flax hair, dance around with the rapier in her hand. He saw her hair wave about, lightly, dancing to it's own tune. When she finished, she turned to him. He started to approach her. "What a fine display, milady (milady is said in English, remember this is set in Japan, so they speak Japanese mostly)" Umichi spoke in a dignified manner, for the fun of it, offering his hand like before. "Let us continue on." He flashed a smile at her.

YukiHana

A young girl could be seen running towards the three young men, whom were just about to leave for town, from the direction of some woods. "Tasukate~!!! Onii-san tachi~!!!" She screamed out. Following behind her was a hoard of Little Nepents, numbering to about thirty or so. Now, then, how did this happen?

At the start, the young girl, YukiHana, had decided on a teenager like avatar.
She mostly used the time she had to get used to moving around, running and jumping. It was fun. Until it became a death game, revealing the little girl's young age. With so many people in fear and unsure what to do, she cowered in fear for most of the first week of the start of the death game. Having luckily found a cheap place to stay, she had no-one who would help her, alone, without her family, without Onee-san nor Onii-san. Finally, she gathered the courage to train herself at night.

Initially, she had trouble using sword skills or killing anything or attacking in general. There were a few more enemies available at the dead of night, when she had first trained. After a while, she started being able to use sword skills and was able to get used to the game a little. Being small, her weapon was similar, a small weapon known as a dagger. She had the basic dagger, Simple Dagger. It was weak, and took a few hits to kill enemies, however, she could move agilely.

Eventually, she had gotten to be able to deal with a couple of Frenzy Boars or Dire Wolves at once. She was proud of her self. Then one day, YukiHana tried to go further away from the Starting City, the Town of Beginnings. Having found the woods, she had to deal with Little Nepents. Their sheer size in comparison to her was scary, but she pushed on through, courageously. Unfortunately for her though, one of them was a Little Nepent with a fruit. Having finished it off, a hoard of Little Nepents appeared. With that she ran, and the hoard followed.

Back to the present, the little girl, YukiHana, was rapidly approaching the party of three. At least 30 Little Nepents following her. Looking like a raid party of Little Nepents, standing 1.5m tall.

Suki enjoyed challenging herself. Even though she knew she'd lose the game, she found it was too good a chance to practice with her rapier. She knew she was still slow with it, but she wasn't use to the rappers attacks and was slowly memorizing them and while she was fast, she knew she could be faster. That was why she chose the three, not caring if she lost the game or not, hoping that Unichi wouldn't choose too bad a punishment. Plus, she had no idea what type of punishment she would have come up with anyway. She wasn't surprised that he was already finished, and she smiled, but was blushing slightly as she realized he must have been watching her. Had she looked like a fool as she fought? She didn't know, and she bit her lip nervously.

When he came over, she just shrugged "I could have done better, but I'll get better. Hopefully this quest has monsters to slay. Good practice" she said, returning his smile and taking his hand. She thought back onto the fight with a slight frown, but then pushed aside the thoughts and looked about them as they continued to walk. Eventually as the came across the hut, she was relieved, and looked to Umichi to see what they had to do next. Did they have to talk to someone? What exactly did this quest entail? So far, she was sure, there had been nothing in the guild book about a pot plant quest. It was likely, she thought, that the pot plant was the reward, and had little to do with the quest. That meant that the quest could be in the guild book, but she didn't know. "Right. What's my punishment?" She asked, remembering that he was meant to give her a punishment "might be better to do it after the quest though" she said with a laugh

Yui - Horunka village <<8>>

Timi seemed to be very hungry even after eating Ayames lunch and the bun from before. Most of the dishes they served in japan werent here anymore since it would take a lot of skill to make such things but it would still be able to make things like Taiyaki, curry and bentos if youre high enough in cooking.

She missed the bentos her mom used to make her everyday, She would eat it everyday on the same spot in the garden all alone. The first few grades where very hard to get through since she only spoke half japanese and didnt have much friends because people looked at her like she was some sort of creep with her leg and all.

She drifted back into reality when a message popped up from Umichi, she made an immediate reply to him ''Daijoubu, Daijoubu (no problem, no problem.) Im trying to learn Timi how to defend herself and such. Haaaai(yes) well take care.'' The message was full of badly typed out kanji. It wasnt her best subject but hopefully Umichi could read it properly. She lightly used the top of her finger to close her menu and looked around her a bit at the people and stands ''Hey Timi how about we check out some sta..."

She looked at the sleeping girl next to her and only could give a smile and a aww expression. She gently brushed the hair of the girl to the side tucking it behind her ear and saw that there where still some bread crumbs on her face. She bend down over the girl her body and licked the small bread crumb off her face. She looked back at the people around her with no real purpose and gave a quick look over Timi from time to time to see if she was not falling over.

Timi woke perhaps twenty minutes later, which would cause them to be late picking up their weapons She blinked, looking about them. She rubbed her eyes, and took some water out her inventory to drink, and returned it after she was finished. "Sorry" She said "I didn't mean to fall asleep"

She rose and stretched, giving Yui a smile, "We should head back to the blacksmith's shop" She said brightly, starting back towards the blacksmith's shop, where she apologised for being late, but the blacksmith, Sasamaru's was frantic. It was odd to see the big man worried and frantic, and Timi, concerned said, "What's wrong?"

From his position Kingetsu was the best suited to see the hoard that was heading towards them, sadly he had no actual skill to distinguish things in great distance. But as now they were less than half a mile away anyone with eyes would see that a huge group of monsters was headed their way, in disbelief of the luck he was hit with he yelled to the top of his lungs "MONSTERS" as he opened his menu. Going directly to the Skills tab he swapped both skills he had equipped for <Sprint> and <Acrobatics>. The reason this was quite simple actually, giving up some defence and some DPS he gained both increased reflexes and kiting ability.

As he closed his menu the other seemed to have prepared as well, with the corner of his eye he could see other groups of players, but he wasn't sure if they would join them or not, in truth he had hoped that they wouldn't but the sheer number of monsters seemed somewhat to much for 4 players. "I'll go ahead...”he said not waiting for an answer. The monsters where now some 300 yards away and the PC running from them was clearly a little girl. She must have triggered some event to have such company.

In his run towards the little girl has now hoping that all the info he "overheard" over <Switch> was true. Being lazy had had some benefits since rumors and information had flooded the starting city and one only needed to be there to know most stuff about the starting area. At least what was discovered. As for skills, same damn thing... As such he unleashed the active effect of his <Sprint> and reached the hoard in half of the me he would actually need to if he ran. Closing in he yelled to the fugitive, "Switch...now"

Ayame continued typing away, taking solace from the fighting of the day-to-day proceedings of her now-daily life, before receiving messages from both Umichi and Yui. Pausing her train of thought, she quickly glanced over the messages and smiled.

"Well, someone has to look over him in the end..." he thought to herself as she began replying to everyone's messages. First came Yui's, to which Ayame summed up how she was recording what had happened over the past few weeks. Thinking to herself a bit more, Ayame snapped her fingers as the idea to ask Yui for her own side of the story whenever she could. It'd be good supplementary material, after all; her story felt a bit boring, so she hoped that maybe she could supply her with some more details to write.

Then came Umichi's message regarding the labyrinth (or, rather, the chances of going being close to none). It was to be expected, though; with all of the crazy shenanigans happening to them, a break was definitely in order for everyone. Ayame breathed a sigh of relief knowing that neither she nor Fujiwara would be in any more trouble today before writing up her own response.

"That's fair enough, I'd think. Suki too busy to send the message, or did you decide on your own, Former Leader?
I kid, of course. By the way, if you two have the time, could you help me out with this project? I'm trying to get a recording of what's happened in the game, and knowing everyone's story would probably make it easy for me to make something cohesive out of this."

Satisfied with the message, Ayame sent the message to Umichi before turning back to the screen she was working on. Saving what she had so far, Ayame quickly resumed her thoughts and continued typing.

"In retrospect, the past two weeks were kind of uneventful..." she muttered to herself as she continued on. "Maybe some things might be best left out...?"

Yui - Horunka village <<8>>

Time went by quickly after the lunch they had, Yui didnt even notice they had already sat on the same spot for 30 minutes long. When she was about to nod of herself she got a message from Ayame explaining what she was doing and that she wanted to hear what happend on Yuis side the first 2 weeks "Keeping a diary on your local files, very clever." She muttered to herself as she was starting to write.

She saw Timi waking up and looked at the time "Oops" she quickly typed something out to Ayame "Ill tell everything tonight, I dont really have that much time at the moment ;p" She quickly catched up to Timi as thet entered the blacksmith store. Timi didnt seem to be so scared of the man anymore, but he looked worried...

"Is our gear ready, We cant look for her if we dont have our weapons. We might encounter something on the way." She gave a small gentle smile at the man as he layed down the weapons on the counter "We'll find her, dont worry" she pressed the accept button as she grabbed her weapon " She gave a nod at Timi as they walked out of the store

"I dont think this quest has a time limit so we shouldnt hurry to much or else we might make mistakes. I'll tank and try to get them to low health and you need to try to get the last hit on them, just keep using your skills on them till their death, I might kill them myself if it gets to hectic." They kept on walking as she smiled to Timi one more time before they entered the forest "You'll be fine."

They entered the forest where Hina would be. She moved her weapon to both her hand with a big slow swing above her head making it ready to strike anything in reach of her. She only gave a quick glance around to see if there would be any monsters around, She didnt have the skill detection herself only tracking and sprinting for combat. Sometimes she stood still for a moment listening to the sound around her if there would be any footsteps.

After a while of walking through the forest with her weapon still in the same place she noticed something on her 3 "Timi to the right a large nepten." She whispered to the girl. She slowly walked towards it with her weapon in front of her. Looking behind her if Timi was ready to ambush the monster. She lowered herself to kick herself of at maximum speed. Her weapon started glowing red as she activated <<Break rush>> she only kicked herself of the ground moving closer to the beast with not touching the ground a second time and vertically sliced the neptent. She looked back at Timi while she was in post motion "Now Timi"

Timi nodded. She had no fears about her own skills, and no worries about Yui not being able to look after her. She trusted Yui. "Right. Slow and steady wins the race, after all" She said with a smile. "I'm not worried I'll be okay. I have you after all" She looked about them as they entered the forest, and there was a slight change in her demeanor as she withdrew her short sword.

She glanced at her stats,

and nodded, pleased with what she had done with them. She was never going to be strong in game, but she had enough strength to wield her blade, but she was fast. And that with her small body gave her an advantage.

She was hard to hit.

As the explored the forest for Hina, Timi let out her searching and tracking skills, glancing about as Yui indicated the large nepent. As soon as Yui sliced the monster, Timi was moving. She ran fast, activating a sword skill, using <<Rage Spike>> and then following it up with <<Slant>> and finally killing the Nepent with <<Sonic Leap>>. She landed softly, and looked to Yui with a smile. "We are nearing Hina" She said softly, "I can track her footprints" She began to do so, but flinched as another Large Nepent appeared. She should have gone back to Yui's side, but she hadn't, and now the Nepent was in front of her. She quickly attacked with <<Slant>> driving the Nepent back, and followed up with <<Verticl arc>, but then retreated as the nepent hit her square on, dealing serious damage to her health She leaped back towards Yui, panting slightly. she quickly ingested a health potion, leaving the Large Nepent for Yui to finish off. "Switch"

Umichi

"No no, you did great," Umichi retorted a little to Suki's comment. He smiled to her, walking, leading her along. She suddenly brought up the punishment. He looked at her puzzled. She started to laugh a little, mentioning for the punishment to be after the quest. "Um... you know ... I suggested to compete with the quest ... not with the fight just then ...." Umichi hoped he did not confuse or embarrass Suki. Suddenly a message came from Ayame, it read:

"That's fair enough, I'd think. Suki too busy to send the message, or did you decide on your own, Former Leader?I kid, of course. By the way, if you two have the time, could you help me out with this project? Reading it aloud for Suki to hear, he laughed afterwards. "Former leader, ey? Anyway, I don't mind helping her, do you Suki?" he asked her, starting to type the message. "Hey, I don't mind helping out, as for Suki [ ] I recommend, that if you are trying to get a recording, then you should try talking to others. I can't say our group is very, representative." Once he got Suki's reply, he filled in the blank area.

"It seems we are almost there." Umichi said to Suki, without there being more trouble along the way. As they got closer, there was a clearing. There stood a hut made from logs, with trees and a garden around it. In the garden, an old man was digging up the soil. The old man was an NPC by the name of John the Old Man. With a straw hat and a receding hairline, he seemed quite elderly, and had a thin grey beard, but no mustache. The old man sighed, slowly getting up. "Hello there." Umichi greeted the NPC.
"Oh ... Why ... hello ... there" John the Old Man replied slowly.
"What are you doing at the moment?"
"Oh ... Just .... clearing ... the .... weeds ... Actually ... if ... you ... don't ... mind ... could ... you ... help?"

A quest box appeared in front of Umichi, alone. It seemed that Suki would need to talk to him to get her own quest going.

An old man lives in a forest a little west from the fifth town. He has been trying to farm some fruits and vegetables, however, he is worried about the weeds.

- Slay 30 Little Nepents in 30 minutes in the forest (These Nepents have higher health values than normal nepents)

(Needs to be watered periodically and taken out of inventory to be in the Sun. What it grows into varies)

He looked over to Suki, and suggested. "Why don't we do this, one at a time. That way we can time each other." Umcihi waited for a reply before he would accept.

YukiHana

"Switch!?" YukiHana continued to run, confused by the onii-san's words. The Little Nepents were mostly chasing the little girl still, however, four of them had changed target, focusing on the new enemy, the onii-san that had run towards her. The little girl continued to run, trying to run in a circle once. Getting close to one of the Little Nepents approaching the onii-san, she continue to run, poising the dagger to start the pre-motion, activating <<Side Bite>>. Cutting into one of the Little Nepents twice, dealing some good damage. The were almost no post-motion, and she continued to run. She wanted to help kill it, but had lots of difficulty, just running around like she did.

"Onii-san-tachi! Tasukate~!" she screamed out again, still approaching the other older men. HanaYuki was losing speed, she had been running as fast as she could for quite a while now. It was difficult for her to start any sort of fighting, with so many chasing after her. She was almost ready to cry out, afraid to be caught by the giant plants, known as Little Nepents, afraid to be killed by them.

As he passed the girl to face the plants he slashed at them horizontally as wide as his arm would let him. His sword bit into the one the girl just activated a skill on and left it in the red. Although he had missed all other monsters, to his surprise some halted their pursuit and chose him as the new target. Some four plants now slowly arched In an attempt to surround Kingetsu. Luckily this forced the other monsters to go around them, giving the girl a few more seconds to get to safety. "Can't do more than this..." he said more to himself as he faced his pending doom. As of now he was surrounded from all sides by plants and he dared not attack first as to not aggro the ones running past him. A few seconds later thou he was left with just six plants to dispose off.

"At least one of you is almost dead..." he said as he tried to slash at the severely wounded mob. The hit connected and he immediately rolled backwards to avoid the rest of the hits. Getting to his feet just in time to see the plant burst into pixels. Now, having downed one and facing the other three the job seemed no less impossible. The plants hit the place he was a few seconds ago, this gave him enough time to get in position to counter attack. Unleashing <Sprint> he went for the fat left plant, he slashed at it with his right hand. the hit chipped off more damage than expected due to the inertia given by running. Passing by them in a run, gave him a few moments to calculate his next move.

As he saw it, he had a just one chance to survive this encounter, he needed to keep moving. Move around and take pot shots at them. And that is what he was about to do, <Sprint> gave him the necessary boost to circle around the monsters.

Suki nodded, "Helping's fine" She said, "But I wonder why she's doing that? Its going to take a long time, I think. Still, it should be interesting. Might be good to have a recording of what's happened too" She said thoughtfully. She studied the log hut, and the garden, and a feeling of homesickness spread over her. Her home wasn't made of logs, but just the sense of...well life in the garden reminded her of the farm.

As she saw the old man, she smiled slightly. "Good day" She said politely to John, always treating the NPCs like they were real. She was quite happy to help the old man, and she nodded, looking to Umichi, minimising the quest notification she had for later, "Sure. You go first" She said, "You should be able to do a nepent a minute, right?" She was worried about herself. Would she be able to kill 30 nepents in 30 minutes? She wasn't too sure. She needed to be faster.

She checked her <<Sprint skill>> and thought she should be okay. If she used that, and focused on more powerful attacks, she should be able to do it. "Go on. Should be fun" She said with a smile

Sanshain looked noticing the new person. Ugh. He thought looking down at the ground. Sanshain really didn't like new people, it surprised him that he was already so well adapted to Lorenzo. Looking back at his crew he noticed them walking away and leaving toward Tolbana. "Eh, Lorenzo wait up! We're partners remember?!" Sanshain yelled as he ran to catch up with the two. Lorenzo seemed to be a little bit behind the other person, he didn't seem to want to get in her personal space. Which was a good thing, you never know what somebody may do.

I know mate so come on we need to leave before it gets to dark" Angelo told him knowing that in all games like this that use real time to go from night to day that in a game the real monsters come out at night and Angelo's spear skill wouldn't be high enough for him to use it on that monster that can spew out 50 more monsters. He honestly forgot the name of the beast but thought that if it appeared more at night then Angelo and his group wouldn't be able to make it. Angelo made sure to hang back as he followed the other person wanting to make sure he kept his eye on him not trusting him but not distrusting him either, Angelo simply wanted to observe before he judged and if he thought they would be a good addition then Angelo would ask the person to join the party...

Shurikai raised an eyebrow, puzzled for a moment by the expression of shock contorting Kingetsu's face. "What is i...?" Shurikai began before getting cut off by the loud announcement of "MONSTERS!". Shurikai whirled on the spot to sight the threat as Kingetsu prepared then sped off ahead of them. Shurikai chose to switch shield for acrobatics however kept his dagger skill in place to operate dagger sword skills. The horde was certainly intimidating but such situations tended to push Shurikai to engage rather than flee. This was one such situation and he felt the element of choice was gone for him anyway when he saw an insanely young girl running ahead of the horde. Shurikai cast an apologetic glance at his brother before charging off after kingetsu.

Shurikai opened into the horde with the move <<Rapid Bite>> managing to cut into two opponents on the charge and sending one pre-damaged one into dust. His rashness was punished however as a vine whipped forth from one of the low level monsters and lashed Shurikai across the back. Shurikai staggered for a moment before righting himself and adopting his combat stance. Now he was here he felt in the horde it would perhaps have been better to equip shield but afforded little time to this thought, instead opening up with a roar and a flurry of fast, frenzied dagger attacks.

Umichi

Smiling to Suki, Umichi checked his skill slots before accepting the quest, in case the timer started immediately. He made sure he had <<One-handed Straight Sword>>, <<Detection>> and <<Acrobatics>> equipped. "Well, then, I'll be back." Umichi said to Suki, with a wave after accepting the quest. John started to speak, but the timer had begun. Dashing off, he went to hunt for Little Nepents.

Detecting some at his three after about ten meters after leaving, he dashed and jumped towards the group. There had been six of them. For Umichi, it was no problem, landing in the middle of them, he swung his sword in a circle, similar to <<Serration Edge>>, however, it was a non-system assisted attack. Slicing them once, he thought they would be dead, however, they were left with a sliver of health, not even a % left. Spinning once more, he finished them. Not even two minutes had passed, and he was a fifth of the way. But damn, these must be stronger than the average Little Nepent.

Continuing on, he found a few more groups, some he cut them while running through, others he used a different sword skills. Finding groups from four to eight. Finally, he was up to his last one. Going for an overkill, he used <<Horizontal Square>>. Looking at the timer, he had just barely passed 10 minutes. Damn it, I still need to be faster. he thought to himself, noticing the timer was still counting. He made for a dash back to the hut, arriving in another minute.

John the Old Man started to speak. "Oh ... Why .... Thank .... you .... for .... taking .... care .... of .... the .... problem .... Please ... take .... this .... as .... a .... token .... of .... gratitude." His speech was still slow. In front of Umichi came up with a completion box.

It seems his quest completion time was also recorded . It read that his time was number 1, completing in 11:02.1. Second place was .... 24:43.2. It seems he blew the competition away by quite a bit. "Well, just over eleven minutes." Umichi turned to Suki with a smile, taking out the Pot plant. What materialized from pixels into his hand was a pot, with dirt in it. Apparently he needed to water and give it sunlight daily. For now, he was giving it some sunlight in the "afternoon" sun that was approaching "evening". "I wonder what it is" he spoke curiously aloud. Umichi then sat down, putting his Pot plant next to him, waiting for Suki to start and wait for her to finish the quest. "Now it's your turn. Your time to beat is 11:02.1" he smiled cheekily to Suki.

YukiHana

As the little girl had ran in the circle to attack at least one of the Little Nepents, it seemed that two more had left the main hoard to attack the Onii-san. "Sumimasen deshita Onii-san!" YukiHana apologized formally aloud to Kingetsu. As she continued to run, another Onii-san, with a dagger and shield, jumped in to help her. He took out one and hurt two others, but lost some health himself. The Onii-san had started to attack like crazy, but only scratching the Little Nepents, not dealing much damage. Having taken some of the hoard's attention, she noticed the Onii-san wasn't paying much attention. There were a couple attacking from a blind spot.

Taking advantage of the learning algorithm, YukiHana started to stop and skid to a halt. The hoard still following were confused, at that moment, she ran through the hoard, cutting through without any sword skills. She ran for the Onii-san, tackling him and rolling along the ground. With her energeticness, she jumped back up. "Baka no Onii-san! There's too many to just jump in at once!" She cried out, starting to run again. The hoard that had split for the little girl and the dagger wielding Onii-san had mostly come together again. The hoard that followed had left another 5 behind to attack the dagger wielding Onii-san once more. She still had a good 16 or so to deal with. The damage she dealt as she ran passed was about 6% of their health, since it was not system assisted, nor was it very fast or strong.

Firelord froze, his brother had run off like an idiot along with the new guy before he could manage to get words out to tell them to just run to the town. He saw the massive mob which would surely kill them, there was no way they could kill that many of a creature type they'd never encountered before. He couldn't move, he hesitated staring helplessly at the mob. He didn't want to die... he couldn't move, he couldn't fight, he could barely think. He was going to die now, it struck him as his body failed to do anything that he was going to die but he couldn't die, he had to protect his brother. He'd sworn to protect kingetsu and now there was a new person who also needed to be protected, he couldn't afford to die, he couldn't be selfish enough to leave them to deal with this world alone.

Adrenalin pumped through Firelords body as he shook his head, drew his scimitar and ran toward the group. He didn't have to do any fighting he just had to get the others out and get them to leg it to town before they lost their lives due to their own stupidity. Though he was probably just as stupid for chasing after them.

"Fucking run!" he yelled as he got to the group, he ran toward a little nepent near his brother and activated <<Reaver>> his blade glowed orange as he tore through it shattering it to crystals "There's too many we'll die unless we get to town. Now fucking move" he said readying his blade to take on any others when they got close
