Here's a link to my CS which I stupidly decided to edit onto my post which is now buried under about 20 pages already. I don't know what guild would let him in, so right now it's blank. If anyone who's a king wants him though, he can be in that guild.

Accepted, though fair warning that if he's going to be a player-killer, he'll most likely be hunted down by Sweepers.

Tempted to make up a 'guild' just to counter the Sweepers.

I read the thing on the sweepers, but I don't understand why they exist. A lot of the assassin perks only work if they kill unsuspecting targets, and combat against other players is the point of the game, so how is an assassin supposed to be an assassin without being taken out by the sweepers?

Well they're supposed to concerned about the people who harass lower-level players. Basically the Deep Ground equivalents of level 80 World of Warcraft players heading to a starting zone, killing all the guards and then slaughtering every new player there.

Which is fine and dandy because that is literally a scumbag move, even if it is effective at racking up wins. Not sure if there's a system in place that makes such an act pointless, ie, fighting opponents a level or two below your own doesn't count. There should be though, cause if there isn't it basically encourages noobie farming.

Given how all three characters involved with the Sweepers are either psychopaths (or at least bordering on it) or a heir to a criminal empire who's basically using it as a cover for her own plans, yeah...

The Sweepers are just an ideology, also not necessarily an organized force for justice. That's what they'd want to be, but more often than not they're just people who are pissed at being picked on by players who think they can just kill whoever they want because they can. The true, or at least first, purpose of the Sweepers is to serve it's the Erasers, hackers, who use their hacks to harass players who annoy them both in Deep Ground and in Real Life. Right now they just have a vigilante bent. If you don't make infamy as a PKer, you won't catch their attention unless you bother someone with a lot of influence. If anything, the Sweepers are the Assassin Guild, albeit one that isn't properly formed or openly endorsed.

What Zombeh described is a pretty accurate PR description, one that most Sweepers emphasis. There's two faces to the Sweepers; the ones who claim to be fighting for newbies so they don't have to worry about asshole elite players (Sweepers), and the elite players who want a more permanent means to get rid of rivals and competition (Erasers). Since Sweepers make up the majority of the numbers they get called Sweepers, but it's the Erasers who call the hits and run the show.

Sweepers calls people like that "Outlaws".

On my RP server, "Outlaws" are rewarded with gold and hugs.

Here Outlaws get ganked and someone burns an effigy in their bed.

You don't want to burn anything in Claire's bed.

Than don't make Claire an outlaw.
