Well, they seemed to be accepting of his silence, though he had to wonder what thoughts were running through their heads as they all gave him a glance or two, or a hard look. Did they think he was a jerk, or just antisocial, or something else? He couldn't tell at this point, since he had only just met them, and he wasn't quite that skilled at reading people just yet. Maybe in timer, but for now he could only wonder as to the impression he was leaving with his peers. Hopefully it was just that he wasn't a talkative person, which would be alright by him.

Fortunately they moved on with their conversations, talking about where the rest of the teams where, and Greyson's injury from his past. "That makes sense," he chimed in with the other student's comment, since it stood to reason unless theirs had been the closest foe, or all the other teams somehow managed to get themselves killed on the first test. Other than that, there wasn't much they could do besides wait, so he would wait. Simple as that

Auriel had managed to at least get some of his breath back by the time Emlyn reached him, but he was reluctant to admit that he really wasn't in any condition to fight anymore. That punch had taken a good third of all of his Aura, and he'd already expended even more through his Blinking and from the fight with the Itzamna. Groaning at Emlyn, he nodded his head. "Yeah...yeah, as much as I hate to admit...you're right." Even with a chunk of its head missing, the Datura was slowly shifting its mass to compensate, the hole slowly closing and being covered by more bushes and trees. Aggravating.

Looking down at the ground, he turned to Emlyn and grunted. "Let's get the hell out of here, then." As he made to move, he found his body hesitating to follow what he knew was the best choice. He'd vowed to kill this thing. Was his pride worth his and Emlyn's life...?

....

....

No. No, it might have been worth his own life, but not Emlyn's. They were a team now, and he had few complaints about his partner, if any. Slowly exhaling, He lowered himself down. He could kill this thing another time if need be. That probably wouldn't happen though. One trophy was enough, to be fair. The money he'd make selling the feathers would be more than enough to take care of himself, so long as the Headmaster didn't take it from him. He could deal with some sort of tax, because Beacon surely wasn't a cheap place to run, but he'd earned his feathers. He deserved the honor of making a trophy.

The ship was yet again filled with the sound of Greyson sharpening his blade, and only the sound of Greyson sharpening his blade. Robert couldn't stand the silence any longer, and stood up. "I'm not usually a nature person, but it's gotta be better then this silence," he said as he stood, "Anybody want to join me for a walk outside? See the cliff and the trees and, uh... whatever else there might be outside that's worth taking a look at?" He said the question as an invitation to everyone, but he was looking at Priscilla as he said it. He even extended his hand towards her to help her up if she wanted it.

Cynthia was hidden within Forever Fall from the other students after falling from the sky, to land in relatively obscure spot with the red forest. In any case, Cynthia was not on the move but instead waiting within the vast bushes of Forever Fall. She sat cross legged within the bushes. And was still like a rock within it. Her eyes were closed as she listened to her various collections of jazz music on her smartphone. Despite that, she knew she would eventually have to get moving as she thought in her mind. Then suddenly she heard movement and voices. She peeked out of the bushes just enough to conceal herself from their view, but also at the same time to attain a visual on the student. With a press on her phone, she stopped her music to focus upon them. Cynthia was quite surprised by the appearance of the student and her mechanical pet.

Priscilla looked around thinking of anything to do, which there was like nothing to do but just sit down. Unless they go outside to walk around or something. Her head turned to Greyson. "Just tell me things first, don't just wait it out, please. We are partners! Haha." A smile formed on her face towards Greyson as her head turned back towards Robert, looking down at his hand, as she nodded and grabbed his hand, standing up, happy that they were finally going to do something together! Priscilla turned to Greyson and Tai. "Are you guys coming or gonna sit doing nothing but looking at eachother?" She giggled as she spoke.

Bridgett grew rather apprehensive as Gren began assembling his new contraption, and nearly groaned in disbelief as she saw what he was trying to accomplish. She watched as her partner and the overeager faunus climbed aboard and was amazed that the device held. We will have to see how it holds up under power.

Concerned that such a bumpy ride might cause more damage to her arm she carefully took off her cloak and began trying to assemble a makeshift sling out of it to hold her mar more or less in place. Apparently this is a lot harder to do with just one working arm.

Gren watched his creation carefully as the others hopped on, making sure that none of the fittings came loose. When he looked to see what was taking his female team mate so long he noticed that she was awkwardly fumbling with her cloak, trying to secure her arm. "Please miss Belle, allow me to assist you." Ignoring the perturbed look on her face at her own helplessness, he wrapped her arm against her torso and tied it behind her neck. He then helped her up and led her over to Kuhaku who helped her into her seat. For her own sense of pride he pretended to ignore the pain flashing across her face, which she just as quickly covered up.

Once everyone was secured, Gren performed one last maintenance check on his vehicle, hopped into the drivers seat. "Everyone ready? Off we go!" And with a low rumble the team rolled out of the tunnel.

Once everyone was settled, Gren drove them out of the cave. He went slowly, not because of the limitations of the buggy, but because they were in a cave. He didn't want to risk going too fast to stop, even if he was using his Friction Semblance. Indeed, the only reason this vehicle was being held together was partly due to Gren's own mechanical skills, and his Semblance making up for anything else he lacked. No bolts, no welding, only carefully placed machine parts and Gren's own unique ability was allowing the craft to stay together.

Once outside the cave, Gren revealed the true potential of his vehicle. No longer worried about going sixty miles into a wall, Gren kicked the engine into gear and burst forward. "Hang on tight and cover your ears! Things are about to get LOUD!" The engine roared like a dragon as the buggy sped through the forest. Gren's skills even in this ramshackle machine showed that he was quite the driver as he dodged and weaved through forest and debris with little effort. Their little drive did not go unnoticed as a pack of Beowolves began to chase them. But Gren was prepared to outrun and outgun them. "Alright everyone, COVER YOUR EARS!"

Gren took a moment to look back towards the God Eater and fiddled with some switches. Then the God Eater, in it's Destoryer Form, began to fire it's payload behind the buggy, shooting up everything behind them, Grimm and nature alike. The recoil from the God Eater also gave the buggy a massive boost. In just three seconds Gren was already breaking the Vale's interstate speed limit three times over. They were going so fast that even Gren had a bit of hard time controlling the vehicle, forcing him to move the buggy onto the railroad tracks to just minimize the need to be evasive. There was only one way to go now, and with any luck his team would arrive to the rendezvous point in about five minutes, if Gren doesn't overshoot their stop. "DO YOU GUYS REMEMBER WHERE THE RENDEZVOUS POINT IS?" Gren had to shout over the sound of the God Eater.

Any concerns Abel had about exactly how well Gren's junkmobile was going to work melted away as the engine revved up. The haphazard vehicle lurched into motion; the guardian almost slammed his head against Kuhaku's. After the narrow miss, he looked out into the darkness, witnessing vague shapes pass by. So far, so good. After a few second of struggling to get into a more natural position within the confines of the buggy, Abel gave it up and contented himself with watching the circle of light in the distance growing larger and larger.

The bright daylight played a number on Abel's dark-adjusted eyes, but as soon as he regained full vision he beheld the familiar scarlet trees of Forever Fall. Before he could enjoy the scenery, however, his orcish teammate decided to crank the ride up a notch. The junkmobile shot into action and Abel could only cry out every few seconds as Gren narrowly swerved to avoid a constant stream of obstacles. The feeling reminded Abel of a roller coaster, though admittedly he had never been on one that could fall apart on a pebble before. He didn't even notice the incoming Beowolves, instead focusing on hunkering down with hands clapped over ears as the God Eater issued forth. This meant he also did not hear Gren's question, but he was more focused on survival at the moment. To a young man whose life had been molded by the themes of patience and not moving, this experience afforded him nothing less than terror.

"Please, Miss Belle, allow me to assist you." said Gren as he proceeded to help the human female make a sling for her arm using her clothing.
"So, 'Belle' is her surname, huh?" Kuhaku mused. It'll have to do for now. Better than constantly referring to his teammate as 'Miss' or 'Lady'.

As the two of them finished, Miss Belle took his hand and got into the transport, taking her seat. Gren did one final check on the vehicle before hopping into the driver's seat. "Everyone ready? Off we go!" Gren said as the vehicle rumbled to life and began to move. Kuhaku couldn't contain himself and laughed joyously, clapping his hands. "It works! It can move!" he exclaimed looking around, meaning no insult to Gren's handiwork of course. Though, he did wonder how the vehicle was held together. He didn't notice any fasteners such as nuts, bolts, or screws or even visible welds now that he thought about it. Searching his thoughts, he remembered that Gren's Semblance had to do with the control of Friction. That must've been it. Satisfied with his explanation, he watched as the light from the mouth of the tunnel grew as they got closer. Glowing blue eyes narrowing sharply to rapidly adjust to the shift in light levels. Kuhaku sighed as he was greeted by the welcome sight of the red vegetation of Forever Falls, relieved to be out of the dank and dark of the train tunnel.

However, he wasn't able to enjoy the sights of nature for long. As the group exited the tunnel, Gren decided to kick things up a notch and demonstrated what his contraption could really do. Kuhaku nearly fell out of the carriage as the vehicle suddenly jerked forward from the sudden shift in speed. "Hang on tight and cover your ears! Things are about to get LOUD!" Gren yelled as the engine roared loudly in response. The vehicle bursting forward with ridiculous speed and maneuverability. Just completely done with the insanity of Gren's machine Kuhaku held on tight and threw his head back, laughing heartily with a touch of mania in his laughter. But his manic joy was short-lived as a pack of Beowolves suddenly appeared and gave chase. Curious as how Gren would get them out of this situation, he shot him a look.

"Alright everyone, COVER YOUR EARS!" Gren shouted over the roar of the vehicle's engine.
Not one to ignore another person's advice Kuhaku pinned his ears against his head, flattening them as best he could with his hands.

As Gren fiddled with some switches, Kuhaku looked over his shoulder to see Gren's weapon the God Eater change into its Destroyer Form and unleash a barrage of rocket fire at the pursuing Grimm. The explosive payload rocking the vehicle and propelling it forward at even higher, albeit nigh uncontrollable, speeds. Watching as the Beowolves were blown away, Kuhaku had to hold his sides as another fitful burst of manic laughter erupted from his chest. He was having far too much fun with this crazy train ride. The 'junk-mobile' now rocketing down the train tracks that ran through Forever Falls. As tears welled at the corners of his eyes and he wiped them away, he looked down and noticed Abel hunkered down low. Boy, was Abel a sight. Hollering every few seconds in fear as the junk-mobile juked around with his hands over his ears. Kuhaku couldn't help but have another manic laughing fit at his teammate's expense. For a brief moment, Kuhaku feared that his lungs would tire and collapse from all of this uncontrollable laughter. Moving closer to Abel, he gave his buddy a few rough pats on the the back. Grinning, he tried to yell as loudly he could over the roar of the junk-mobile's engine and the God Eater's rocket-fire. "YOU ALRIGHT BUDDY?! ISN'T THIS JUST THE GREATEST?!"

Before Kuhaku could receive an answer from Abel, Gren called back to them.
"DO YOU GUYS REMEMBER WHERE THE RENDEZVOUS POINT IS?"
His lungs regaining their breath, Kuhaku slowly stood in the carriage of the junk-mobile and closed his eyes.

Opening them, he focused his Semblance on himself and dulled all of his senses other than sight. Sacrificing mostly his hearing, he grew temporarily deaf to the chaos around him. [+VISION/HEARING-] With his enhanced vision, he scanned over the canopy of Forever Falls' trees and searched the surrounding mountainsides. Looking for the ridge that the drop-ship landed, he saw the zip-lines that most of his class had utilized to enter the valley. Following that should lead the way to where they originally came from. Closing his eyes and shaking his head, he ended his sensory manipulation and refocused his efforts to continuously numb Miss Belle's pain. His senses returning to normal. Cupping one hand around his mouth and pointing in a direction with his other hand, he yelled "GREN! THAT WAY! GO THAT WAY!"

Much as Tai might want to go outside and enjoy nature, he was all of a sudden averse to doing it specifically with Robert. Mostly because if he did it with Robert, the odds were good that something would happen, and Robert would either need saving, or end up injuring/making a fool of himself, And that wasn't something Tai particularly wanted to deal with at the moment, even if he really should go in case of that eventuality itself. But nah, there'd be plenty of time for things like that. They did have four years here after all.

He did notice Priscilla going, and made a mental note to not be involved in whatever silly romantic battle was going to spring up over her between Robert and Greyson. True, she was probably strong enough to make that kind of decision for herself, but that didn't usually stop people, and if they were to be a team (Still uncertain), then he didn't need it to be with that kind of tension or resentment. Personally, he would just wait and let attraction happen of it's own course, though in the case here he'd provide a hand to shove a couple together should the group dynamic be negatively affected.

"Thanks, but I'm good," he replied to Priscilla, glancing out the window to look for any groups coming. If it was a long wait he'd probably head outside, but it hadn't been that long since they got here, so he'd stick to the drop ship for now.

Emlyn was more than a little relieved to hear Auriel concede to coming down. He was constantly yanking his legs and arms away from vines. This thing was going to consume them whole if they stayed much longer, and as soon as Auriel agreed, he began to lower himself on the Datura's body. Once he was down to about the hip, he leapt down, tossing Mirror into the ground and breaking the fall with a roll. When he sprung back to his feet, he grabbed his weapon back up again, and turned to wait for Auriel.

They'd done it. The two of them had actually completed their test. Well, their end anyway, whoever managed to snatch the second card on the monster's body would finish up the entire thing, but for now, Emlyn was content -beyond content- that they'd done their part. He contained his excitement for now though, in case the thing decided it wanted to focus back on them again. Once they were out of the area he'd celebrate.

Greyson shook his head smiling "sorry but I can't exactly do that with my leg busted" Greyson said gesturing his his leg as he kept sharpening his sword watching Priscilla with Robert and Greyson thought that it was going to be interesting knowing theirs only one girl and two guys want her. a romantic triangle, they make movies about this sort of thing! Greyson simply smiled knowing at least he will have company since that's what misery loss. At least that's how the old saying goes and maybe greyson will get to know tai a Lyle better if their just alone while the other two stay outside. ..

"Suit yourselves," Robert said as he turned to walk out of the ship. At least, that's what he said. In his head he was shouting, "Yes! Whoo! Yeah! Alright!" He stopped at the door, trying to be a gentleman and let Priscilla go first. "Cool, now we can, um... talk more, I guess. Hmm, I really didn't think ahead this time did I? Oh well, at least I can get closer to Priscilla," he thought to himself. "What should we talk about, though? Hmm, maybe I can point out something romantic, like the sunset. Wait, what time is it? Is is it sunset right now? Gah, I wish I had a watch," Robert continued thinking. He was about to poke his head out the door, but decided that Priscilla might mistake the gesture for impatience. "Alright, if there is no sunset what should I talk about? Maybe what she's wearing, then. Or her hair. Girls like it when you compliment their looks, right?" All of these thoughts had rushed to his head before Priscilla even had the chance to turn around and follow him to the exit.

Priscilla looked at Tai and Greyson not wanting to go. She did want both of them to go but she was not going to push them to do something they dont want to do. Priscilla smiled at Greyson as she ruffled his hair playfully and making her way outside with Robert. "Oh. Its so beautiful outside, right?" She said looking at Robert and smiling at him as the wind swayed her pink hair from side to side. "What's wrong with him? Maybe I should ask him? No that would be so wrong. Hm." She stood there smiling at Robert. "Soo! How are you? Im kinda hungry too.... There should be like some fresh apples or something around here, don't you think?" She asked looking at Robert as a smile formed on her face as she looked at him. "Im truly sorry about your past, Robbie. I know how you feel, wanting to steal stuff for survival. But I seriously thought, I wasn't going to be here. Especially around you guys." Priscilla said as she walked closer to Robert. "I feel so bad for Greyson.... It made me really sad hearing his past story and I want to be there for Greyson, always, also for you guys too and Tai isn't that open yet, which its understandable."

Tai watched as Priscilla and Robert departed the dropship, Greyson staying here instead and sharpening his sword still. He did have to approve of the dedication there, since maintaining ones weapon was pretty important. Fortunately Tai didn't have to worry about stuff like that for the most part, since his weapon was primarily a blunt object. The only necessary maintenance was making sure the Fire Dust was fully stocked, and the chains that held the thing together.

Other than that though, he continued his objective silence, glancing out the window and occasionally humming a tune that wasn't quite any song that he'd actually heard, as he soaked in the previous experiences and planned what he was going to do when he got back. It was all part of how he was, careful and rational planning, maximum effect for minimum effort, rolling with the flow and momentum of affairs. So once they got back he would be able to set out resolutely, with a clear plan in mind.

Following in Emlyn's footsteps, Auriel slowly made his way down. He was already feeling the fatigue from his Aura abuse, as well as the fatigue from climbing a mountain and a half. Truth be told, he was beat down to the ground. Hell if he was going to try to keep this fight going any longer. He might have been foolish enough to without Emlyn giving him a cold dose of reality, but that wasn't the case. Jumping off the creature's leg and simply letting the mountain stop his body, Auriel grunted loudly as he impacted its face. "Emlyn....ow." Exhaling sharply, Auriel pushed himself to his feet slowly.

"Let's...go, dude. I...I don't wanna be here any more. It's not fun."

Priscilla appreciated the scenery more though, so when she asked what he thought, he replied, "Yes, it's very beautiful." Priscilla then mentioned something about hunger. Robert looked around them, but apparently Beacon's staff never considered bringing food for the new huntsman-in-training, and since there wasn't any apples or other fruit growing off any trees, that meant there was only one way to get food. A sudden chill ran up Robert's back at the thought. The only source of food was the tree sap. Robert walked over to the nearest tree and searched every inch for any sign of Rapier Wasps. Afterward, he searched the other nearby trees to see if they had any Rapier Wasps. While looking, he heard Priscilla mention something about the conversation they had had back in the ship, but he was too busy looking for wasps to hear everything she said, so he replied, "Uh huh." Once he was sure that the area was clear, he began hacking at the tree for the sap. "The sap from these trees is edible, and pretty delicious too," he said to Priscilla. He didn't want to tell her about the dangers that it attracted. He backed off from the tree to give her room, if she wanted to try the sap. He also tried to listen carefully for any buzzing or any sound that resembled buzzing. If he heard anything, he was ready to grab Priscilla and run.

Bridgett closed her eyes for the mad dash through the woods, relying on her semblance to maintain awareness of the surroundings. When the Grimm started chasing them she she knew there was no way that her abilities could assist her team, especially with her arm the was it was. She did gather that Gren didn't really have a way to tell where he was going so as the lake loomed in front of them, she whipped Rakurai out and flung it at a tree passing on the side and hung on for dear life. "Abel, hold me steady!" She felt her arm nearly pop out of its socket when the chain went taut and the vehicle whipped around at breakneck speed and was soon going perpendicular to it original direction. Flipping her arm around she whipped her weapon around tree on the other side as their ride passed back into the forest, jostling everyone around again as she guided them back to the dropship. "Gren! I'm not sure how much longer this will hold together!"

Through the mayhem and carnage Gren was somehow able to get the group, including the vehicle, to the pick up location. The ship was already there and it looked like other teams were as well. Though Bridget (For good reason) worried about the stability of their ride, Gren was confident that it would hold out for as long as he could. He was only starting to get winded after all. But he did know that he was going much to fast for them to simply stop, and there wasn't enough space for them to slow down. Gren had cut off the God Eater by now so the only noise came from the roaring of the engine and the clattering of the hull itself, which was still cacophonous. He had to figure out some way to slow them down before they over shoot the ship again and crash into a wall or something. To that end he had to, for a moment, close his eyes and concentrate.

Gren's semblance relied on either having a controlling grip with surface tension, or to let it go. Since their ride lacked any sort of brakes he had to use his Friction Semblance to slow down the buggy, but each movement made him have to reapply the friction all over again. He can't simply force the buggy to stop without catapulting everyone out and sending them air born, which he wasn't sure they'd be able to survive given that they're mostly tired out from their previous battle. With each rotation of the buggy's wheel he caused it to create a bit more tension each time, requiring additional force to move. Gren himself shut off the engine and put the buggy into neutral, creating no additional kinetic energy. Now he just had to gauge how much space they'd cover before the buggy came to a grinding halt, and giving the speed it was going it was rather easy for him to figure out: Not enough space. They'd crash into the airship even if they went slower and Gren was running out of ideas of what to do. Than it hit him. "One more trick. Buckle up everyone, this buggy is going to fly!"

Gren got out of his seat and firmly planted his feet on the dashboard of his buggy while tearing The God Eater from it's mount. They were going too fast for him to stop them without crashing or coming to a sudden halt. They needed more space to slow down. And it just so happened that the ship had just the right amount of space to do that. Al he needed to do was get the buggy airborn and let it hit wheel-first to the side of the airship, letting gravity and his semblance slow it down. And without any ramps or wings there was only one way Gren could make his buggy fly, and that was with a rocket jump. Aiming the God Eater below the buggy he stomped on the dash and made the buggy do a wheelie. Than he fired a rocket blow them, sending the buggy airborn. The change in momentum did some to lower the buggy's intense speed, but now they were flying uncontrollably towards the airship. Gren didn't fret though and simply did his best to angle the buggy to hit the wall with it's wheels, than using his semblance to both stick the landing and make sure the buggy didn't fall apart. It groaned and creaked with the sudden force put upon it; the combined weight of it's passangers as well as the shear mass of the ship it just hit. It left a dent on the side but it served it's purpose.

The buggy was stopped, and the team reached the ship. Slowing the contraption down to the ground Gren waited for everyone to get out before leaving himself. The moment he lost contact with the buggy the contraption fell apart, some parts of it just spontaneously collapsing into dust or smaller parts. "What a ride. You all okay?"

Priscilla was minding her business, apparently she was speaking wit herself because Robert was trying to search for food? Probably. She raised an eyebrow but stayed away because she was alergic to wasps/bees. Everytime she was either poke with the needle, it wouldn't be to pretty. "Robbie. Please stop. I'm alergic to wasps and Im not trying to get stinged.." She said nervously, but she was going to stay alert and hear anything if anything is wrong that is. Priscilla shook her head walking closer to Robert and grabbing his hand, as their fingers locked with one another and she dragged him away quietly. "Don't do that. You know how they are. Besides...we could always go look for some freshly apple trees!" Priscilla smiled at him, holding his hand tightly as she walked away with him, his hands were soft but she loved it. "So, I can't believe you would go for that trouble just to get me food. That's sweet."
