It truly is more fun to make a character that's the underdog rather than a more powerful one. One of the coolest powers I ever saw somebody use was that their character could talk to inanimate objects. That was it. Their character just thought they had schizophrenia, and it was a really interesting idea. The non-combat side of RPs is usually more fun than the combat side of it. Raw power only takes ya so far.

Which is why I personally find it fun to write as Shannon, Deborah, Nikki, and Theresa.

I updated Pink's sheet and edited in her backstory. I'm still working on writing my characters backstories, it's just a slow process.

I'm actually planning on waiting until the end of Capture The Flag to update the relationships of my characters. It's a good point to see what they think of people.

Posted a character sheet in the deposit. And it's an original this time!

Also, after some considerable thought (aka one second of daydreaming), I decided to scrap the Mule. He was already a carbon copy, and while an emotional manipulator would be interesting, I doubt that right now is the time for him. Besides, might as well try to have an original before a based-off character!

Aaaaaaaaand of course I see this after spending an hour and a half creating a character. To be fair, I intended for the focus to be on him being foreign moreso than him possessing pyrotechnic abilities. I can, of course, change anything if necessary, and once again I am open to any and all criticism.

Now, Space Communist, we already have a pyromancer, Ella, who pretty much as the same power as Konstantyn. I also am not a fan of his potential to reach 3000F. That's more than enough to melt most metals. I also think that his personality could be expanded a bit more.

Yeah, I'm waiting until CTF ends before I start editing my own relationships. Because I'll have to do a lot at once, and there's no point in doing it right now.

My bad, after doing the wrong team's descriptions from Lynn's Point of View, I admittedly rushed through the others. I'll go back in and fix that, haha. One of those days.

Hey guys, fraid to say I've been lurking for a wee while, and I'm thinking about submitting a cs. It'll still be a time before I do, I like to skim through the IC before joining an in action RP, but I'm wanting to start putting my sheet together now and I've just got one question. I'm wanting to make a guy who basically looks like a Viking Raider, someone you would expect to be a superstrong hulk type, but is actually a cross between an empath/precog. My question is, what sort of power type should that fall under?

Right, I thought as much, but I wasn't sure that we were allowed to mix and match types like that.

There can be meta-humans that have multiple power classes. Both of my characters actually fall under three different classes, although each of them have a power class that is particularly much stronger than the other two.

I'm currently trying to come up with ways to make them get stronger over time, since that's going to happen to almost all the characters. Atticus has powers that I already have ideas for, but I have multiple options for Codi. I could make Codi's bacteria or Reef's venom/ abilities more powerful, or I could abandon mutating the urchin and chemical aspect and give Codi (The human part of her) a new form she can switch into, although like Atticus, there would be a period where she couldn't change, unless her life was in immediate danger. I kind of like the second option more, since for the most part every time I have ever made a character whose powers incorporated lethal venom or toxin with no potential cure, people never fail to dodge or escape those attacks in some form or fashion (One time, a person even said that their character was hit by a claw, although the attack was actually lunging forward with venomous fangs). Those are my ideas, right now.

Does anyone have an opinion about the second idea? If I choose that one, I'll have to write a very long, detailed appearance, and I don't want to do that if I can't use it.
