Just a heads-up- I will be heading out-of-state for a few days. I'll have internet access, but chances are slim I'll be able to get any replies up. Currently I think I'm all caught up, but just wanted to let people know.

Four days is just too long. If someone doesn't post soon, withdrawal's going to kick in, and it's not a pretty sight, believe me! Pink elephants and little frogs in funny hats all over the place.

Oh I'm well into withdrawal now, it isn't pretty let me assure you. But I'm still stuck here and elsewhere so sadly I will be able to bring no relief.

I have it on pretty decent authority that there are a few different things in the works, but when they might be finished I couldn't possibly say, because *not a mind reader* At this point too I'm at the limits for what I can do without accelerating the story exponentially, and I don't necessarily want to leave off interactions people have planned or are currently working on. Hopefully things will be wrapped up or worked out soon, so momentum (and enthusiasm) in the story doesn't hit a brick wall.

That said though, there certainly seems to be a dearth of communication, and it'd be a great help if folks whose lives have just eaten away at their time would just let us know here in the OOC. If people said or planned to do something and, for whatever reason, shit just happened? Just say so. We're all grown-ups *checks mental checklist of ages* Yup, all grown-ups *grins* A little bit of communication goes an incredibly long way toward allaying anxiousness and just generally keeping everyone in the know, and pretty happy at that, because hey, haven't we all hit those times in our lives when absolutely goddamned nothing goes as planned? *raises hand* Hell yes, been there, had that happen way too many times to count. A quick note here takes maybe a minute or two to write, as Derren did a couple days ago.

And hey, like I'm going to do now! This week, I've got one test on Tuesday, another test on Wednesday, the last of my major papers is due on Wednesday as well, all followed by finals the following week, also on Tuesday and Wednesday. I also have the last of my day-long clinicals this Thursday and next. Yup, love those accelerated programs! And yeah, shit got real, really fast So no, I won't be around that much at all for fun times :( However I will try to be available where I can be, for short and/or quick posts.

Still haven't gotten hold of any of the Office programs. It's a damned nuisance, buying a new machine and shit.

Does your school offer any? I know mine offers a free version of full office with a license that lasts as long as you are a student. It might be something to look into.
