:P Which is obviously why we need to come to consensus on these things! We can't have the characters contradicting each other, just because we the players have differing opinions on the inner workings of magical beasts...

I think it is a just a mixture of bird poo and lion poo, like he has two stomachs and then they link up to one butt.

Well, if he had two heads, sure, but he doesn't. Since it's just the one head, how would the one esophagus know which food goes into which stomach? No, I think the blended digestive system makes the most sense.

The real question is, which parts of the eagle's digestive system remain? I submit this for your approval. Do griffins have crops or gizzards? They certainly don't have teeth, just a beak, so how much does that influence the digestive comparisons?

Perhaps they have a unique organ all their own, built to accommodate both varieties of diet. Something akin to the crop and gizzard that catches bony pieces and grinds them down, but also allows the easier-to-digest meat to continue through to the stomach at the same time?

I actually wanted to keep it like an owl so that he'd poop approximately half a dog + other food would come out. Just to add insult to the thugs.

I mean... Have you seen/dissected owl feces? It's... interesting looking. A Griffin is a pretty mystical being, so what isn't to say it's like that? Corin DID bite the dog in half in one go, after all.

Edit 2: I just realized that I had the mistaken impression of owl feces. I forgot that owl pellets are actually like cat hairballs in that they're regurgitated. The hairy, bone filled gobbet of slime and stuff is what can't be digested... Big mistake on my part, lol.

:( I don't want to burst your bubble, but that wasn't exactly what I meant by "bit in half". He didn't eat half the dog in one go, he just caught it with his claws, and literally bit through its spine, so that it was in two pieces. Hence, "in half". I get what you're thinking, with the droppings, but sadly it's a no-go.

EDIT: Plus, it was a big dog. Even a griffin would probably choke, trying to fit half of it down their throat.

Okay, finally have had enough free time to read up on all the ooc that I have missed.

Glad to see you have joined us Impy.

I'm up for jumping to the opening ceremony, not sure if I stated that already or not, And Adam isn't quite incapacitated. He just is a little on the crispy side with a short fuse, there is no way that would impede him standing in front of a large crowd of people that he doesn't like to say things he likely doesn't believe in. :p

In truth though Adam still could be the one to give the speech, his wounds aren't so extensive that he would have to say longer then a few minuets I would think, but I'm not sure if he would want to with out proper incentive

I'm only good at war speeches, and as far as I know... Lismos isn't in a time of war.

Relatively frustrated at a whole host of things right now... Delaying my RP post just a bit longer to prevent corrupting its integrity.
Apologies for the relative late-ness. The post will be up tonight. I do need to run some errands, first, but I'll be working on the post as soon as I'm able.

I just realized that it's taken us about three weeks to pass approximately ten minutes in this roleplay.

So, just as a check... How many people are still interested in this? There's literally nothing stopping anyone else from posting right now, and the Opening Ceremony can very much be on its way, along with everything that comes after it. Ultimately, I'm still very interested in this RP, especially now that Imperfectionist has arrived. But, it feels apt to check how many others, including the GM, are still interested in continuing this.

It's understandable that work seems to be getting in the way of some people, but hopefully... there is still the will to progress?

True, true. I did realize that the decision to time skip the 20-50 minutes left until the opening ceremony only popped up four days ago, lol.

As far as I can see... You, Impy, Apo, Hanged, Shifter and I still hold some varying degree of interest in this roleplay. Jedly is... passive, I guess? Zombehs is busy, and I'm not sure about Traitor. Rose is just waiting for things to happen, I believe?

Edit: Also, "RIP" Excidius. Wish he didn't have to go ;;. I liked Mister Arazm.

I normally let the GM always do the actual time-skipping otherwise, the time table can get very confusing very fast.
