If this is still open I'd like to be considered for the sixth spot...
Caste: Bright
Name: Nero Endymion Ovisar
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Appearance: Nero is a tall, and keen-eyed young man of impressive vigor. His skin is olive in color, and gives him a look as though he's just been out in the sun regardless of how much time he spends indoors at his books and foci. His hair is long, reaching well past the back of his knees when he stands and commonly he leaves it in a tight braid at his back to keep it from causing problems. When describing his features the words which most commonly spring to mind are roguish, devious, or rakish; it's not that he's an intentional troublemaker, but with his usual smirk and the sharp edge to his deep hazel eyes he certainly looks as though he could be.
Personality: If one were to attempt to describe Nero in a single word that word would be Obsession. Be it money, enchantment, or fine clothing the young man cannot and will not settle for less than what he wants. That isn't to say that he's a perfectionist, far from it, it's simply that his drive and focus for what he wants blinds him to distraction and causes him to strive for greatness. In this way his addictive behaviors can be a boon, though in other ways they can cause him harm... Many a night he's gone without sleep, and many a day without meals attempting to learn a new spell or to buff a scuff-mark out of his shoes. When he's able to focus he is intelligent, considerate, and savvy bordering on wickedly perceptive; a true student of human nature as all real salesmen aim to be, he is confident and capable in the art of getting close to people, and is not above using them to suit his needs... to an extent. He isn't ruthless, just business-minded, even in his personal interactions.
Spellbook:
1. Verum; Truth.
Allows him the use of Second Sight, so that he can properly understand something, learning it's traits and aspects. If advanced this could also be used to see through illusions or guises.
2. Mutuum; Borrow.
Grants him the ability to take an aspect from a given object; for instance the heat of a fire, or the sharpness of a sword. This effects the target greatly; turning fire cold, or dulling a blade.
3. Fenerabis; Lend.
Using this spell he is able to channel borrowed aspects into objects, thereby creating magical accessories or items. This skill is taxing as objects do not like taking on aspects not their own.
4. Eximo; Release.
By utilizing this skill he releases the stored aspects of a given item in a sudden burst. Using stored heat he could release a wave of heat that could scald or focusing intently heat his palm and use it to cauterize a wound or set a small blaze. Releasing the aspect of sharpness through his nails he could use them to cut like steel. Due to the strain of this spell the mediums he uses commonly break after Release. There is much still to be learned of this skill.
Inventory: About his person are numerous rings and wands into which he channels aspects for one-time use with his Fenerabis spell. Furthermore he always keeps on his person a small sewing kit, and a handful of spending cash.
Clothing: His grandfather having been a tailor Nero found early on that he had a great love of flair for finery and has a taste for wide lapels, thick cuffs, and numerous hidden pockets in his clothing. While not of great wealth he splurges what money he gets on fine silk shirts, and sleek black shoes which he keeps clean and shiny at all times.
Other: Nero's family, dating back to the beginning, have been tradesman. The allure of money has time and again been both their drive and their downfall, and amidst his ancestors he boasts medicine-men and armorers, craftsmen and tailors, artists and architects and bookbinders oh my. He himself intends to be the first enchanter of his family line, selling magical apocrypha and accessories imbued with spells of power both grand and lowly to help everyone from the Exalted down to the Severed, and of course to line his numerous pockets with money.
Nero is a bit peculiar in that he has had no formal teacher or master; rather due to his obsession all his magic is self-taught from endless hours upon hours of scouring tomes written by Enchanters of years gone by; as such he deems each mage he read about one of his teachers.
