Short version was thankyou very much for the advice - since I'm brand new it's probably sensible if I only join one game to be going on with. Don't want to get my fingers in too many people's pies before I learn what kind of workload I'm getting myself in for. Plus, new people notoriously piss off without warning, and I'd rather not ruin too many stories when I get run down by a Saudi taxi.

A small correction: Genshal is marching to Vespar, not Oslo. He's heading for the war with Valaria.

Well then I guess we'll be on the same side until the walls fall - though I imagine a long serving guardian will command a somewhat loftier position than a mercenary showing open contempt for the politics.

@Headphones, I like the humanity you gave the barbarians. Something that was going to be explained eventually in IC, is that the barbarians aren't totally in the wrong. The kingdoms have a long standing history of mistreating the Northmen, namely through conquest or forced relocation, as any time a resource is discovered in the north, one of the kingdoms expands their borders, and any clans in the way are 'dealt with'. So when Malfear fled to the North and the people there saw he could raise the dead, they revered him as a deity, and when he wanted their help to destroy the Kingdoms they were eager to oblige.

right now I have three possible groupings for your characters. I'll probably be placing Emil and Mia in Ferros, in the capital city en route to Valaria, since there's gold to be made there. Same with Ryan, who will be starting in the capital city and be given a reason to go to Valaria.

The Second group will be Alaric, Kotori and Tegan who are serving the Tower. They'll be starting either in Oslo or in the Valean countryside, and will probably be initially dealing with The Order of the Rose. Of course since they all work with the Tower, Valeal will be the most dangerous place for them right now, haha.

The Third group will be Genshal and Nyirr, both in Vespar. Because Valaria is such a war-torn country, there is a lot of lawlessness going on, which is a perfect feeding ground for feral mages who can thrive in a country without order. We can say Nyirr and his party (of Nitria, Vednusdi and Sir Lazerous) were sent to Valaria to hunt a feral mage and more or less have gotten themselves cornered into Vespar. Then of course Genshal is marching to Vespar.

As the others submit their Character Sheets things will adjust accordingly. Of course when the IC begins, your characters 'plots' and missions will be far more fleshed out. I just wanted to give you guys an idea of who I plan on grouping you guys up with in the opening IC. Of course this isn't set in stone, and you absolutely will not be with the same group throughout the entirety of the RP. I've already discussed your characters with a few of you, but if any of you wish to discuss your characters ambitions or 'missions' with me shoot me a PM and we can further flesh things out. If at any time you want to do a GM collab with me, you're welcome to do so as well.

If I may make one correction, Alaric's last name is Vastille, not Vestilla. It's pretty much the fortress that fell during the French Revolution (the Bastille), only with a V. Also, he's Hyrdo and Construct, not just Hydro.

Here is my first character at least, and I'm working on getting pictures. I was thinking about altering her to be more of a ranger, what with all the guardians, but I do like this version the best.

Hopefully I'll be able to finish my second one by Wednesday. Tomorrow's going to be a little rough, but it should ease off after that. :3

I mean, they're essentially both female warriors with special arms (while Mia does have magic, it's more or less just creating unique weapons than "magi" type magic like fireballs or controlling water and such) matched with a male mage of some kind.I'm not saying they're similar, in fact I find that while superficially they might seem similar a quick glance shows how drastically different both pairs are, but I just can't help but imagine that there'd be some interesting antics for them to address.

The only problem i'm seeing with your CS is the age. I'm having a hard time accepting a 13 or 14 year old girl is capable of rising to the rank of a knight, your character is too young for the accomplishments you've listed. Not to mention that a girl that young who relied on the sword in a fight would probably be demolished sheerly out of lack of muscle development (even if your shade is very knowledgeable in swordplay). You're welcomed to play a character that young if you think you could pull it off, as it would be an interesting perspective to have a little girl in the group, one with the mind of an adult and literally not scared of death (I see some interesting dialogue here), but a 14 year old girl with a longsword would be pretty useless in a fight.

If you want to go this route tune down the accomplishments and consider a different weapon (one more suitable to a person of smaller size). Otherwise make your character older (at the very least 18)

Ferros, by the way, doesn't really recognize the Knight class and isn't big on chivalry. You're more than welcome to say some people have adopted chivalry and knighthood akin to the western nations, but adopting chivalry will somewhat distance your character from your countrymen culturally.

Like I said, you're definitely taking some interesting angels with your character here, but the age and list of accomplishments you've given don't match.

By the way, to the people who have reserved spots but have yet to post a CS, You guys have until Wednesday morning to post a CS, or at the very least a skeleton CS so I know you guys are keeping tabs on this RP. Which means Bunnita, Daired and Bing. Considering all the information in the OOC has been available since the interest check thursday (friday?), I feel adequate time has been provided.
