It is 3012, many planets with life on it have been discovered and allied with the human species, they have shared their technology as we have to them. But out of the blue, a zombie breakout occurred on the moon. The moon had been containing an airborne and space-borne virus inside its core and some miners dug into it, releasing it. Only a tiny amount of people/creatures in the galaxy are immune to it. These are no ordinary zombies though; the ones discovered so far grew wings that propel a bodily gas from them, allowing them to fly through space at a maximum of 10 MPH, they can infect the characters immune to the space-borne disease with any contact to the skin, but they are continuously evolving. The remaining survivors will have to work together to solve the epidemic.

Everyone will start on the planet Taryn, of course you will be able to leave and go to a different planet.

in 2465 Earth's scientists noticed a strange meteor hurling itself through space towards Earth, they could finally use their improved nuclear weapons to save lives. The impact of the missile and the strange meteor created a bright pink glow that illuminated the earth, it's about 164 days away from earth if using 100 MPH Transportation, it never went away. When astronauts went to check it out, they were transported near a planet called Taryn, they were able to go on Taryn and talk with the other species. After their discovery they were able to go back through the strange pink glow to earth, and report the news. The pink glow is about 86 days away from Taryn if using 100 MPH Transportation, but the light range is very low in Taryn's galaxy so they can't see the pink glow until they are 10,000 Miles in distance.





The rules are the basics, ask before severely injuring or killing another roleplayer's character, be active, what I say goes, etc...

Age: 37

Starting Weapon and/or Abilities:
-Shoota: A large slug throwing weapon. The shoota is your basic Ork pistol meant for killing and crippling. Unaccurate but slugs are powerful enough to explode limbs from body.
-Mek Wrench: A weaponized wrench handy for both mechanic work and murder. Sturdy and built to last the test of time.
-Mek Brain: As a mek boy, Lug instictivly knows how machines work and as such is a great mechanic. At least, when it comes to engines, cars, and mechs. Other forms of engineering are above him.

Pros:
-Big: Lug is 9 feet tall, this gives him a massive advantage over basically everything in melee combat in terms of damage and reach.
-Fighter: Its a staple of Ork-kind to be able to fight, tenaciously.
-Jurry Rig: Lug is adept at making quick fixes to just about any vehicle or weapon on hand, just be prepared for him to make it "orky".
-Takes a lickin: Ork anatomy is a resiliant one, making Lug a tough character.

Cons:
-Big: Being 9 feet tall makes Lug a big target for any bandits that would be around.
-Loud: Orks are loud, its something that can't be helped.
-Mean: Orks aren't a friendly lot. Its something that again, can't be helped.

Back Story: Lug has been from one planet to another throughout his entire life. Fixing things, killing things, drinking a lot, wash, rinse, repeat. Its a simple life but that doesn't matter to Lug. However with this zombie business going around Lug has decided to stop doing what he was and start doing something good for a change. Fixing up as many ships as he can before he needs to stick it out on his own.

Back Story:
The first contact with the Elvhen was not friendly by any means. Humans were the first to discover the Elvhen planet of Elvhenan. The Elvhen were isolationists and took the trespassing very seriously. The warriors, the assassins, & the wizards attacked in mass slaughtering the humans. That night Elvhen died on human flesh and drank their blood and over the next few days found uses for their bones. The ship that the humans left behind was studied, dismantled, & reassembled time and again. Eventually humans came looking for their lost compatriots and again were slaughtered. Eventually a human had the intelligence to ask for permission to land and begin open dialogue. Peace was achieved, the bones of the deceased humans were returned. The ships used by the humans to invade were kept by the Elvhen.

Several centuries pass, many more races make first contact. Almost all end in bloodshed due to their arrogant belief they could land without permission. Eventually word spread if you wanted to land on Elvhenan and survive you must ask for permission first.

The Elvhen would never become traditional members of galactic society; they would always choose isolation over pretty much everything. It used to be the warriors, the assassins, & the wizards were all charged with protecting the entirety of Elvhenan. Then it became apparent that some threats needed to be taken care of before they could ever reach Elvhenan. The assassins left Elvhenan to deal with such threats.
Solana was born on one of the ships they acquired from invaders. She has never seen Elvhenan except for pictures. Upon completion of her training she set out on her own, teaming up with other Elvhenan assassins as needed. To ensure her missions would always go in her favor she did whatever needed to be done. On one mission she sabotaged the power station for an entire country; it allowed her to bypass all electronic security measures and make sneaking around far easier. She was successful in eliminating her target and acquiring a far more advanced ship, but the sabotage caused a virus to be unleashed that ravaged the country killing ninety-nine percent of its population.

Lifespan: 1000+ years
Gender: Only one in a thousand are born male, which is cause for a great celebration followed by its sacrifice to their Goddess.
Appearance: They are extremely beautiful. The average height is seven feet tall. The shortest height ever recorded was six and a half feet. The tallest height ever recorded was nine feet, she died very young.
Community: Everyone in the community is all one big family. When one member of the community dies everyone mourns. They live in harmony with nature. They only kill what they need to survive be it plant or animal. Their shelter is a naturally grown plant that they gently manipulate to form whatever building is needed.
Physicality: They are physically weaker than most species but they have twice the stamina.
Desirability: The Elvhen are highly sought after as sexual partners. Rarely do the Elvhen agree to bed another species, do to most species inability to keep up.
Sustenance: They are capable of digesting pretty much any known organic substance. Garlic is a delicacy that they would do pretty much anything for. They do not let anything go to waste if they can help it, including blood, it is used to make sauces, glazes, wines, or drank raw. Sometimes they even bathe in the blood.

Starting Weapon and/or Abilities: Aría sports dual silenced .50 caliber Desert Eagles in matte black on hip holsters and a single 6-inch-blade combat knife that she keeps in a thigh sheath on her right thigh. Not sure if it counts as an ability, but her vision is insane; she can see things that many others can't. Same goes for her hearing, and OH MY EVERYTHING is she flexible.
Pros:
1: Expert Gunslinger - Aría is a master at using her dual pistols. Desert Eagles are NOT easy to use one handed, and she manages to shoot them quickly, accurately and simultaneously, all the while moving quickly around.
2: Parkour - Aría is an expert in parkour and incorporates this heavily into her fighting style, jumping and rolling while firing. This also allows for stealth; she doesn't need to hide from eyes, since where she is, there usually aren't any, e.g. rooftops, alleys, etc.
3: Stamina - Not really sure what else I need to say here. Her stamina is great, a combination of years of running and genetic manipulation.
Cons:
1: Antisocial - Her overly cynical view on the world in general makes her extremely hard to get along with, much less connect with. This leads to her being alone essentially all the time.
2: Stubborn - She is perhaps the most stubborn person you will ever meet. If she's set her mind to it, God help you if you try to change it.
Backstory: Aría was born in a laboratory, experimented and tested on to no end. This is where she developed both her insane sensory perception and her overly negative attitude towards basically everything. One night, during a particularly powerful electrical storm, the energy barriers and alarms went down and using her insane senses and flexibility, Aría managed to escape. They big guys didn't like that; even now, they're still chasing her. She learned parkour to get away, and it's worked so far.
Race: Genetically modified human

EDIT: Almost forgot to mention; her life was begun on Earth and her original family was Icelandic (after all, the laboratory had to have something to work with, and it chose an Icelandic couple named Arórá and Oláfur).

-Wields an energy sword capable of slicing through flesh and metal rather easily.
Starting Abilities: Capable of detecting hostile and life-threatening forces. Capable of interfacing with other machines.
Pros: -Near unlimited endurance: because he is a machine, he does not tire.
-Solar powered: all he needs is the power of a star to recharge, but that doesn't mean he can't just recharge from a plug.
-Precision: all his actions are calculated with ridiculous accuracy, making it very difficult for him to miss.
-Perfect memory: he can store an extremely large amount of information in his memory banks.
Cons: -Lack of personality: he was never programmed with a personality, so he only responds with short, concise answers.
-Recharging: while he is recharging, he is to stay still, until a threat arises that takes precedence.
-Good servant: he best functions when taking orders, otherwise he will refuse to take action, unless he detects something that requires him to take action.
Back Story: Conna'Cel was created by a master inventor, and Conna'Cel served him faithfully ever since he was built. One day, however, the inventor disappeared. During that time, Conna'Cel was deactivated, and was only reactivated accidentally by looters. Conna'Cel murdered the looters after sensing hostility from them, and then went through his known information. After that he had only one goal: finding a new master. He now wanders, not caring about the zombie outbreak too much and searching for a new master to serve.

Starting Weapon and/or Abilities:
Wing Rebellion- Flaps his wings forward but stays in the same spot, blowing away harmful gases or creatures.

Double Winged Daggers- Mallion's blood carries the fluid that made him glow and have wings, so he sliced himself with the daggers, giving the daggers wings and a glow that Mallion can control.

Pros:
Glow- Even in the pitch black Mallion's glow will provide some sight.
Protective- Mallion thrives to protect people around him.
Attractive- It's hard for girls and/or boys to keep their hands off him c;

Cons:
Glow- The glow may sometimes give away him and his allies position(s)
Protective- Sometimes people hate how protective Mallion is
Emotional- Mallion is heartbroken because of the Epidemic, sometimes he will just break down.

Back Story:
Mallion was born with a shallow yellow glow and wings on Taryn because the mother had been attacked by an unknown species and injected with an unknown substance that gave her wings and a glow aswell. Mallion and his mother's new race/traits impressed many species, but one day Mallion's mother was murdered in jealousy. Mallion has been emotionally scarred ever since.

I say we just have everyone start on Tayn, it would keep the group grounded and the dynamic of day and night is interesting for the survival aspects.

Starting Weapon and/or Abilities: Lee has a modified PGM Hecate IV. Baseball Bat

Pros: Lee is quick on his feet, and is able to make slit second decisions under pressure. Lee is a good shot, and know how to handle himself with a bat. Lee used to be an engineer, so Lee is also is also good at upgrading and modifying other weaponry. Lee is also good at keeping a groups morale high.

Cons: Lee is not a leader, that he cannot do. Lee also is not the best at close combat, usually siting in the back, covering the rest if the group. Lee cannot kill a living person, even us they threaten to kill his own.

Back Story: Before the outbreak, Lee was a simple Engineer who was born on Earth, but worked on Tayn. When the out break stated Lee was not one of the men who thought he could do it all, he saw his fellow work mates die from such delusions. Lee took the logical approach, He ran when he saw the perfect opening, and ran for home. Lee was holed up in his house for a month, until he finally went out for food. It has been Two months know, and Lee is still in hiding.

Other Info: Lee is comedian, he likes to make people laugh, and he is good at it. But Lee is also very smart, so his dorky and comedic attitude make his smartness and cleverness seem to disappear.
