Accepted Character Sheets

Humans have always feared death, since the first human walked upon the earth. Each one fearing the end of the world and their utter demise, ceasing to ever matter within this cruel world. In the time of knights and dragons, the people faced their own near extinction. Their own apocalyptic demise through the dead. A angry Necromancer, outraged at how truly pathetic the living human's were, decided to take matters in his own hands. He concetrated black magic, a dark spell that would animate corpses into flesh eating husks.

These corpses were odd, strange and maybe even intellegent. The kingdom of Espia knew little of this spell, the only ones holding this knowledge was the small city of Sharlton. No matter how much they prepared, no matter how hard they fought... the city was doomed to ruin.

A handful of survivors survived, so few compared to the vast army that fought to protect their fair city, and it was up to them to travel through the dreaded lands rotted with living corpses. They had to warn the king... warn of the horror that was befalling quickly upon their once peaceful kingdom.... or face their extinction.

Hi! I'm interested in playing The Sister, The Sage, The Huntress, or The Thief. In that order, though I think would really prefer The Sister.

One question, though. Is there an infection if the undead bite or wound someone, or is it purely the necromancer that reanimates them?

Go ahead and put up a CS then, I'll compare other CS's who want the same position. ^^

And yes, the infection does spread through biting by Zombies. Much similar to regular ones.

Okay. And would the Sister be able to heal that, with her healing magic? If yes, I would totally make sure to not overdo it on that, like say she could only cure one person a day, and then she'd be exhausted magically.

Either way, I'll start on my CS.

Krypteia and I have the same line of thinking. xD

I'll probably fill out two character sheets. One for The Sister and the other for The Huntress. Unless she would strongly prefer The Sister. If that is the case, I'll just fill one out for The Huntress. :)

EDIT: She ninja'd me! D: I'll let her have The Sister. ^_^

Mhmm yes I'll allow the Sister to be able to cure it. But only once a day and she can't heal any more than that for the rest of the day. So if someone else gets infected, they are screwed.

Whoever ends up doing The Templar, we should probably talk, as I included him a little in my bio. I can always edit that if you want to work out something specific. Anyway, here's my CS, I hope you like her.

It looks good but just a few things I forgot to mention. Not your fault.

Sisters are actually strictly forbidden from romance and having children. The Sisterhood views one needs to be absolutely pure to follow the Goddess. Breaking this leads to death if discovered. ( of course, your character is free to risk this, just part if the world culture)

And the healing art is a rare gift to sisters, so you aren't incorrect she would fly passed other Sisters. Those with healing do move up faster.

And thank you for the reaction she will have to the plague (so far they've only heard rumors until they are hit) it will help with the intro set up post.

I'd prefer her to just have leather and robes instead of chainmail.

Other than that, she's good ^^

Ah, okay. I just made up stuff where there wasn't clarification, didn't know you had the rules all plotted out. I'll make the edits to the romantic angle and the healing. Is it possible for me to keep the chainmail, though? It's not like it would make her overpowered. It'd be very light, so any decent strike would still hurt her a lot, and even if it protects her from bites, she still won't be overpowering even a single enemy. It just buys her some time, probably. It just seems kinda nonsensical to me for her to risk danger everywhere and have absolutely nothing to protect her.

Sisters are simply meant to be completely non defensive and offensive. Especially when they weren't expecting to be in the middle of a attack. It's the reason Templars exist to be their complete shield, as well as anyone else around her who's willing. Leather will also help protect from a bite (not by much but it still helps) and that is as much Sisters wear under robes. They are spoiled protected damsels. They don't expect to ever really be hurt themselves.

Just my two cents, but it would be horribly dumb for two characters (Sister and Templar) to both not consider the possibility of worst case scenarios. I could understand how the Sister's naivety and faith might play into the part of her declining extra protection due to simply not believing it a necessity, but it would be a fairly big oversight for the Templar to simply believe he's capable of protecting her from anything and not giving her an extra layer of protection just in case.

Then again maybe the two just aren't as pragmatic. Or something. Am working on the Sage.

Well they only heard of rumors of this danger. They get all of a sudden. So i suppose the Sister could find some chainmail after the town is destroyed. But no one really knows anything about the zombies, the black magic and how it all works. Only rumors of a massive army a single Necromancer is conducting. Beforehand, everything was peaceful.

And usually, Sisters are protected by a army of Templars, not just one.

To echo the above point, even if she did not have any protection before they were attacked, they were attacked, and a lot of people died. It just doesn't seem logical to me that she would still refuse to wear anything to protect herself. Especially if she normally has a bunch of Templars, and now she only has one. I did not envision my character as being particularly naive (considering that she has done a large amount of traveling in the past few years), as one can be a pacifist without also being stupid.

If it's that big of a problem, I'll get rid of it. If you're worried about my character being somehow invulnerable, I actually tend to go the opposite direction. I'm not really the type to have my character avoid all harm just because I feel like it.

I did say I suppose she could get Chainmail AFTER the attack. Your just going to have to explain how to get some. I still don't like it, but I will accept some Chainmail afterword. Though it will get bitten through by a good bite. Especially by certain Zombies. Some even chewing through heavy mail armor.

Thank you. Sorry if that caused any trouble, I didn't mean to. There just wasn't much specific info on the Sisters to go off of, so I ended up filling in a lot of the blanks myself.

Sorry, I simply forgot to add it in since this originally was another persons Game idea. And before Sisters were actually very naive, never leaving their temples unless to travel to another temple and hardly interacting with the real world.

So I'm going off by memory, as adding my own ideas.

But if you're ever confused on something on lore, just ask. Cause I won't know or remember unless you do.
