Lupus braced himself when the landed on his back and fastened itself to him. the sword weighed a bit. but it had squared itself evenly so it was easier to carry around. Lupus Stomach was still rumbling for food. his new partner. was generally Having a good time. "they were wrong, they were all wrong; I'm not just a piece of dead scrap. No piece of dead scrap could every feel as alive as I do right now. I've...I've never been this happy to be alive. I love you new best friend!" The honedge was saying with complete and utter joy into Lupus's ear. Lupus didn't mind it That much. "Well Since we are gonna work together Can we at least go get some Food Cause I am Starving" Lupus told the Joyful animated sword. as he began walking towards the Kitchen. his Blue eyes Scanning the hall as he went taking in the appearance for future referance.

eventually he reached the. Kitchen door. which was taller then he was (occ: considering the fact that if a delphox lived their the door would have to be tall). Not daunted by that he Tapped the door Knocking loudly he glanced back at the honedge on his back "hey Sharp-Sword whats your real name just for reference Mine is Lupus" Lupus said As politely as he could muster while having a devilish grin. Lupus looked back at the door "Open already please I am so hungry i could eat a Wailord" Lupus said Scoffing while his stomach kept growling.

Not much later Isra awoke inside a stone room with a set of iron bars dividing her from a Growlithe who sat in a black chair with a thick pair of glasses on his face with a large book spread open on the desktop in front of him. She looked around and could see her hat and poncho on the table beside the Growlithe as soon as Isra sat up and began moving the Pokemon turned and examined at her before speaking calmly "Good afternoon Ms. Pancham how is your head?" the Pokemon then turned and shouted off in the distance, towards part of the room Isra couldn't see "She's up. Get the Sergeant in here." Before Isra could reply to the Growlithe he seemed to look down in his book and ignore her. A few moments later the large Arcanine appeared and looked down at her from behind the bars with a look that made her think he had just eaten something bitter. The beast of a Pokemon sat and cleared his throat before speaking with a level of formality she wasn't used to from him "Hello and let me be the first to welcome you to Sunny Town. I'm the Sheriff of this town and I need to ask you some questions, are you willing to answer them right now?" Isra stared at him for a moment before she nodded slowly, she had done nothing wrong and was positive justice and truth would prevail and set her free.

"Let me start by asking your name and what exactly you were doing here in my town." he started with a slight bit of snootiness in his voice.

"I didn't even know your town was here, I was just walking through before you jumped down my throat." She hissed back, standing up on her feet now and neglecting to give him her name.

The Arcanine closed his eyes for a moment and exhaled deeply, clearly frustrated before continuing "I asked for your name Ms. And I didn't jump down your throat, you're a stranger here and lately we've had some problems around our town. I'm gonna put an end to that ASAP, before these adventurer guilds pop up and try to take my town from me." He stopped himself before he said more and continued with the formality once more "I also need to know where you got your uniform and what that symbol means."

Isra examined Arcanine a bit before giving in, if she wanted out of here it was best to just cooperate. "My name is Isra and I'm not from anywhere close to here I'm just a drifter sir. Those symbols mean nothing, they're just artwork you know? Like fashionable?" She placed her hands on her hips and awaited his verdict.

"I see.." He seemed to think for a moment longer than he did the first time before he finished his thought. "Well you're still going to have to perform 30 hours of community service for assaulting a police officer and another fifteen for attempting to evade the law and interference with a Police investigation."

Sergeant Arcanine was going to continue when Isra cut him off shouting. "Are you kidding me? What was I supposed to do? You never said a thing about being officers or anything." The Sergeant instead simply turned and walked away from Isra's shouting. "Hey! What th- Where are you going? Come on, let me out of here." Isra then gave up and flopped on the thin mattress with a pillow that was supposed to be her bed, awaiting whatever was next.

"My name's Monado!" Honado chirped "I know it might sound a little weird, but I was only 4 when I came up with it. I had to give myself a name since no one else did. Kind of a side effect of growing up in an orphanage located in a town that hates both Ghost and Steel Types. Anyway, back to the name; since I spent all my time reading stories, I taught myself to read at an early age, I decided to name myself after one of the legendary swords in those stories. The Monado was a super awesome beam sword that was first wielded by this giant titan thing in it's fight against another giant titan. Now when I say 'giant' what I mean is 'small continent', because after they killed each other, people started living on them...somehow, I never understood that part. Anyway, the Monado somehow shrunk down and was stuck in a stone. The prophecy said that whoever pulled it out of the stone was the chosen one. Many tried but it was a boy named Angeal who finally did it. He grew up to be a powerful warrior, but eventually died because of all the experiments done on him. He passed the Monado onto his student; a boy named Zack, but he died soon after protecting the person he passed it onto; Cloud. Now Cloud-" Monado paused, realizing something "wait...I'm mixing up my stories. Woops, my bad. Anyway, what were we doing again...oh yeah, food! Yay, food! Do you think she has anything fresh? Oh, I wonder what fresh food tastes like"

Timothy cautiously walked down the streets of Sunny Town, all too wary of the suspicious gazes fixed on him. His good eye searched every which way in case he spotted danger. His breath was shaky and he just wished people would treat him with indifference.

"Hey, you! What business do you have in our town?" a voice behind him barked.

Timothy, startled, turned around to see a very menacing looking Houndoom with its teeth bared. The Rhyhorn let out a faint "eep" as he backed away in fear, accidentally crushing a table and two chairs outside a café. He heard an angry yell from inside the café, and with his head lowered in shame, took a few steps forward. The Houndoom mistook the lowered head as a preparation to charge, and sent smoke out his nostrils. "So that's how you want it, eh? I don't care if you're a rock type, I'll rip you apart!"

The Houndoom circled around to Timothy's left side—the side with the bad eye—with incredible speed and leapt onto his back, sinking his teeth into Timothy's side. Timothy let out a deep scream. "OW! OW! OWOWOWOWOW! OW!" he cried on and on as he bounded around the streets, shaking wildly, trying to get the Houndoom off his back. In the process, he destroyed fences, gardens, and stepped on a tail or three. Eventually, he managed to shake the Houndoom off his back, and into someone's window. Not wanting to stick around, he hurried back onto the road and bounded down it, turning at every intersection to make sure he lost his pursuer. In the process, he acquired two new pursuers, a pair of Growlithes, who, while they weren't as fast as the Houndoom, were just as determined to catch him. "Leave me alooooooooooone!" he cried desperately as he ran. Turning another corner in the road, he suddenly found himself rapidly approaching a big, stone building. He tried skidding to a halt, but to no avail, as his horn wedged itself deep in the wall of the police station.

Russet nodded at the Braixen's suggestion and wound his way inside the library, leaving the door in the same state it was before he came in. Seeing the Zorua-Honedge duo make their way to the kitchen, the Furret took a chance to look around the "guild". It certainly looked like a library, though one that hadn't been cleaned in a long while. He should probably help them clean the place up while he was here, after he introduced himself to the guildmaster. Speaking of which, where was he? His eyes looked over the rest of the library and-

Oh, it was the same Pokemon he'd been ogling seen at the cafe. His face went pale and almost immediately became flush with blood. He quickly looked away from the Sylveon and tried to act casual. "S-so hey, you've seen the guildmaster anywhere? Seems like his uh, secretary back there was a bit nervous."

Having calmed down a bit, Tina decided to explore the library as well, this time taking the time to notice what the shelves had to offer. "Wow, so many books!" she said, her eyes sparkling. She'd only ever had a few books back home, having lived out in the forest. As he spoke to her, Tina cocked her head at the Furret, then burst out laughing. "Ahaha! Secretary? No, silly! Couldn't you tell? That was the Guildmaster! She said her name was Willow, I think." She liked Willow, even though they'd only just met; the Braixen felt like a very honest Pokemon.

As Willow was preparing something - the best she could muster up at this moment in time was some tea and toast for her guests - she heard a knock on the kitchen door. It sounded like the Zorua and Honedge were just outside the kitchen.

Arceus, they're impatient, Willow thought as she walked over to the door and opened it, letting them into the kitchen. She wasn't sure how she was going deal with such excitable Pokemon everyday. "I'm just making something right now," she told them. "So hold your ponytas." She returned to where the toaster and kettle were located. "Hope you all like toast 'cause that's all I got in at the moment." The toaster popped and peeked out of the top of the toaster. Willow then took them out and started spreading some butter on the slices.

Lupus walked inside after hearing his newfound partners story telling about how he found his name "That great i guess" Lupus said as his noise caught scent of the toast "Food..." Lupus murmered his mouth watering He hadn't ate since a while ago. Standing their in the kitchen he shook his head. "So er willow is it What is the first thing we are gonna do as a guild Other then sorting each other out" Lupus said Eager to start adventuring then lupus mind wavered a bit and he turned to the honedge on his back "Why are you on my back anyway am i supposed to use you as a weapon?" Lupus asked quickly and quietly before turning back to willow "can i get first Slice I think im going to die of hunger over here" Lupus said as his stomach growled to agree... Mean while... Lupus memorys where ticking slowly of when he was a kid A lonely child his parents where usually out adventuring But he had his His sister Soul. A absol. who had the same Sense for danger as Lupus's father. Lupus on the outside seemed to be staring off into nothing ness when he recalling was just thinking about his childhood....

"Duh silly" Monado answered. "After we adventure enough, you'll evolve into a Zo...Zo" he paused, trying to remember the name of his New Best Friend's evolved form "the really fluffy one with that huge piece of red fur coming from their head that's almost as big as their body. Then you'll have hands to hold me and my shield when I evolve into an Agislash. All you have to do is tell me which move you want me to use and I'll use it. Although the only cutting move I know now is Fury Cutter, but I can use Autotomize to make myself lighter. Come to think of it, we're going to need to find a Dusk Stone before I evolve. I don't think I want to be a Doublade for long, that looks like it would be too weird. Oh yeah, before I forget; I call dibs on the first Dusk Stone we find, I'm going to need it."

He had arrived at the location mentioned on the advertisement not too long ago, and had spent some time listening in on the conversation that the Pokemon inside were having. 'Well they seem easy enough to approach. I suppose that I could just go in right now and offer my services...but what to say?' That was the question that had kept him outside waiting this long 'Kage-Sensei never covered anything like this before. Those other Pokemon all seem to be conversing so naturally, it's simply mind boggling. I suppose I could just stick to quick answers when spoken to, and if I show the advertisement, they would no doubt be able to understand my intentions. It's as good a plan as I'll ever come up with considering how little I know.' With his strategy prepared, he made his way into the building

As he entered the old library, he started to hear a voice. While it was hard to make out what they were saying at first, as he got closer, the voice became clear "-Stone we find, I'm going to need it." It was the Honedge. "Oh hi there!" he spotted Ame "are you here to join the guild and go on epic adventures too?" Well that was easy, the living blade correctly guessed his purpose here fast. Giving a small nod as an answer, the Honedge continued "yay! A new friend! The guild master is in the kitchen right over there." Wow...that was painfully easy. Giving another short nod as thanks, he opened the door to the kitchen and inside he saw-

-A goddess. Those slender legs, soft and inviting fur, that face that was beyond words, and although he could only get a glimpses of them, her eyes were more radiant then even the most precious of gems. The second he laid eyes on her he began to feel strange; his body started burning up, he started having trouble breathing, his heart rate seemed to skyrocket, and his keen mind was made foggy. 'No! I...I...I...I can't get sick now! I've never been sick before, so why now!?' His entire life he had been nothing but the picture of perfect health, yet now he seemed to have some kind of strange fever after seeing the guild master, there was only one logical explanation; 'I'm allergic to beautiful women he realized. All he could do was hold up the advertisement, and hope that it would be enough

Russet scratched the back of his head and turned his head to face the Sylveon. At least it didn't seem she had noticed him from earlier. "No, I really didn't. Kinda surprised, she doesn't look the type, you know?" He hadn't expected that, most of the guild leaders he'd seen in the past tended to be more... confident about themselves. Maybe it was something with adventurer's guilds, he hadn't had too much experience dealing with those. "In any case, you think we should help Willow with the food? I'd hate to be making food for this many people by myself." He knew a thing or two about making food, and some more hands in the kitchen couldn't possibly hurt.

Willow gave an irritated sigh as Lupus asked for the first slice and was about to say something when another Pokemon showed up in the kitchen.

Great, another Pokemon barging into my home! she thought, irritably. This Pokemon was a Frogadier, a Pokemon not often seen around these parts as Sunny Town was more a home for fire-types. "Yes, what is it?" she said, the annoyance clear in her voice. However, the frog Pokemon didn't need to answer once Willow saw the advertisement in his hand. "Another one?" she exclaimed, her expression changing from annoyed to surprised to happy, before suddenly seeming weary. "A lot of members already..." she muttered, mostly to herself. She then put on a slightly strained smile. "Well, welcome," she said. She then turned her attention back to Lupus. "Oh well... I haven't decided what we're going to do yet... I suppose we'll have to wait until we get a job... or something..." She suddenly realised she had no idea what they were going to do and quickly turned away to hide her embarrassment.

I really should have been better organised! she thought to herself scoldingly. Argh! No worries... I'm sure I'll find something to keep them preoccupied...

It had already been an interesting day at Cafe Magmar. Strangers weren't exactly a rare occurrence, but so many in one day, and all of them asking about Willow's ridiculous Adventurer's Guild idea was quite weird. Then there was the arrest right in front of the shop, and some Rhyhorn stampeding through... it was only just past the lunch hour, and already Magby was ready to close up shop and go suck its thumb in cowering terror in the corner. Of course Magmar would have nothing of that, though, even when a be-caped Abra teleported right behind Magby and made him jump a whole two feet into the air.

"Heh heh, did I scare you? My apologies." Abby surveyed the scene with mild interest before shrugging and walking around the quaking baby Pokemon. He grinned and he skirted the remnants of the recent Rhyhorn stampede, and spotting the culprit still jammed into the wall, surrounded by officers who tried to pull him out while also trying to get the crowd to move along. And, of course, where he wasn't wanted was the perfect place for Abby.

"Hello, officers, what appears to be the problem today?" he asked with a cheerful tone as he approached the scene.

"Nothing to see here, move along, please," one of the Growlithe responded without turning around from trying to pry the wall off of their suspect.

"Ah, of course," Abby said, complying by walking past and right into the police house. He could deal with the Rhyhorn later if necessary, but for now he was here for something else.

"Hello. What do you need?"

"Ah, yes, I'd like to speak to the-" Abby's response was interrupted as the object of his journey came barging out through the back door. "Yes, him."

Sergeant Arcanine was also not having a very good day. First the Adventurer's Guild, then suspicious strangers beating up his sheriffs, and now he was hearing that someone had attempted to break into the jail. He was just on his way to deal with that when the Abra foolishly stepped right into his path, forcing him to come to a stop or run over the idiot. He growled in frustration, "Please get out of the way citizen."

"Oh, I was just wondering about the Pancham you have here. There's nothing stopping her from leaving." Abby continued smiling at the toothy mouth inches from his face, his eyes glowing a brighter red for just a moment.

"There's nothing stopping her from leaving. Now get out of my way!" Abby did as commanded, and the Arcanine barged out the door to go handle the situation outside.

"You heard the boss. So, you'll get the Pancham for me right away." Abby had turned his attention to the Growlithe behind the desk, who nodded along wonderingly.

"I'll get the Pancham for you right away, just wait a moment." The Growlithe fiddled around until he found his keys, and then retreated into the back rooms, Abby hot on his heals.

He glanced back but nodded when Abby assured him "Everything is okay." They made their way to the cell where Isra was being kept. The Growlithe unlocked her cell and ran off when Abby shooed him away.

"You're free to go, ma'am. I'm sure that everyone is extremely sorry about the misunderstanding," Abby informed her, bowing and gesturing to her things.

Bits of rock tumbled onto Timothy's back as he tried to pull himself out of the wall. But it was of no use. He was stuck in good. He couldn't see much besides the ruined wall in front of him, but he could hear plenty of voices. Orders barked, murmurs buzzing, shouts of shock at what happened, and a few snickers and laughs. That was the worst part. Everyone could see what happened. He had just made a fool of himself once again. And he couldn't run away from this one. Not yet, anyway. He was going to have to answer to someone about this.

As if fate was reading his thoughts, he heard a voice bark angrily from around the corner, "WHO DID IT? I want to SEE THEM! I want to TEAR THEM APART! I will make them wish they'd never been BORN!" Timothy heard a high pinched whimper, only to realize a moment later it was coming from himself. He heard muttering and footsteps, and someone walk up to his left side, where he couldn't see them. "Soooo," the voice growled, "You're the stupid oaf who charged RIGHT INTO MY POLICE STATION?"

Timothy gulped, his lower jaw quivering. "I-I'm sorryyyyyyyy." he cried, then he began spilling words out of his mouth. "I was being chased and I didn't know what to do and there was this mean pokemon who hurt me and all I wanted to do was find some way to make a better pokemon of myself and this is how it ended up and I I mean this stuff always happens to me it's just not fair why does this always happen to meeee-ee-eeeee?"

Voices from behind him began whispering to each other. The hostile voice from before spoke again, this time softer and circling behind him. "Oh, Arceus, it's a crybaby too. Listen, you stupid oaf." Timothy felt something fuzzy and clawed jab into his rump. "I don't care what your excuse is. Nobody. Does. This. Crap. To. My. Police. Station." With each of those last words Timothy felt a set of claws strike at his right side. Out of the corner of his eye, a black nose appeared followed by a muzzle of cream colored fur. "I doubt you have the money to pay for the damages, but I'll ask anyway."An eye came forward to stare into Timothy's eye. "Prior to cost calculation, I estimate the damage to at least be 4,000 Poke, and that's a generous rounding. Do you have the money?"

Timothy's eye watered as he began to spill more words "No I was just sent out into the world by my parents with little more than food I've got nothing in the way of money right now I can't pay for anything it's just not f-OW!" He was stopped short by a swat to the face.

"Then I'm afraid you'll be spending a good chunk of time behind bars, at least, what bars we have left..." The Arcanine to whom the voice belonged to growled, sending a puff of flame into Timothy's eye. Timothy cried and shook his head to pull away from the flame, accidentally freeing himself from the wall. "Now come with me or we can do this the hard way."

As Willow finished preparing the toast and tea, she looked over at Ame. "Say, could you help me carry some of this into the main room?" she asked. "It would be a lot quicker to get food to everyone." She would have asked Lupus as well, but as the Zorua didn't have hands, he couldn't be of much use. She then looked at Lupus. "And if you want food, you'll have to follow us into the main room. I need to sit down and talk about what we're gonna do next." With that, she picked up a couple of plates of toast and a cup of tea and moved into the main room.

"Sorry it took so long," she told Tina and Russet.

Lupus's face contorted into a impatient frown as he stood waiting for the food he made a quick comment to manado "it will be a long time before i evolve yet. maybe i could carry you in my teeth?" lupus asked without thinking about the consequences of his actions. His blue eyes stared at monado mono eyeball. before quickly turning away. Lupus then grinned as he stared at the counter Their was food! Lupus then scoffed as he heard he had to wait a little longer. But he slowly walked out the room manado on his back. he looked at the grand halls he wanted to be waiting in the main room for the food. he turned his head back into monado. "By the way the names Lupus- *Crash*" Lupus had collided with a wall. Dazed he shook his head. and dizzily swayed left and right into the main room. "i really need to look where i am going or else i am going to really mess up"

Oh sweet Arceus, that voice. It was so overwhelmingly glorious that it sent shivers down his spine. Nodding at her request, he grabbed some plates and followed her out 'this is bad, I had no idea that I had such an allergy, I didn't even know that this kind of allergy even existed! I can only hope that the adrenalin rush of battle will be the remedy I need to combat this illness. It's strange though; why is she the first female to trigger my allergy? It's not like my village didn't have any attractive females. I'll have to assume that the reason my mother didn't trigger it is either because she's my mother, or women who's age is too different then mine don't trigger it. The second would explain a great deal, like why lady Kyuubi never triggered it.'

"Your teeth huh? Well if you can get a good grip on me without damaging them then sure, go ahead" Modado answered. For awhile, they continued in silence, Monado basking in the fact that he now had a Best Friend, and a new home that might not have a leaky roof. Today was just full of wonderful things, it made the little sword just so happy to be alive. The silence was broken when his Best Friend, who had just introduced himself as Lupus, crashed into a wall "if it helps; you don't have to look me in the eye to talk to me when I'm on your back. Heck, you've already looked me in the eye far more then people at my old orphanage did in a week. So you're already over quota"

Russet's ears perked up as soon as he spotted the freshly-made toast, seems the guildmaster didn't need their help. His paws rubbed together and his tail swished around unconsciously in anticipation, he hadn't really eaten too much recently, and Chesto tea was hardly a filling meal. "Oh, nevermind. She's got it.", he said to Tina and stepped over to the Braixen. The toast wasn't a proper meal, but it was hard not to appreciate the gesture, especially when running on an empty stomach.

"May I?", he asked, waited for a reply, and took one of the plates off of the Braixen's hands with as much dexterity as his stubby paws would allow. He set the plate of toast on the nearest raised surface and turned back to Willow. "Can't thank you enough for the food," he said and looked around his head for a way to strike up a conversation, "So, you're the guildmaster? Seems pretty impressive, how long has this guild been here?"

Tina glanced over as Willow stepped out of the kitchen. "Ooh, thank you!" she exclaimed cheerfully. She trotted over happily and accepted a plate and cup of tea, using her ribbons to hold them. She took a bite of toast, then a sip of tea. "Aah... You're very good at making tea!" she told Willow. "My mother used to make tea, but she always made it too bitter or too sweet. This is just right!" She continued to munch on her toast as she waited for Willow to begin speaking. She was so excited to join an Adventurer's Guild! Willow seemed nice, and Russet did too! She couldn't wait to get to know everyone else, go on great adventures, explore amazing new places... She was already squirming from excitement. "Ooooooh, I can't wait any longer!" she shouted finally. "When do we get started?"

Willow was both surprised and pleased when Russet offered to help her carry some food. "Thank you," she said, giving the Furret the first genuine smile she had given all day. She then glanced over at Ame. "And thank you too." She placed the remaining plates and tea on a small table for the others to take if they needed.

When Russet asked how long the Guild had been open, however, her smile faded and was replaced with a look of embarrassment. "Well, err, not that long actually," she said. She then looked around at all the Pokemon in the room with her. "In fact, all of you are the first members I've had." Her cheeks reddened slightly and she looked down at her feet. When Tina asked when they were going to get started, Willow's blush deepened. They had no jobs, at least not yet. What was she supposed to do to keep this lot occupied? Just as the worry was about to overtake her, she suddenly got a strike of inspiration. "I have an... idea of something we could do," she said carefully. "It's not a job exactly, but since you're all new members, it will give you a chance to test yourselves." She regained her previous confident persona and smiled. "It's a scavenger hunt, I suppose you could say, in one of the local mystery dungeons. It will be fairly easy dungeon if any of you are feeling nervous about it, but it will give us all a chance to experience how the dungeon's work."

Her smile widened slightly. "I've actually visited one of the mystery dungeons myself, and it doesn't seem too dangerous, though I must admit I had a type advantage against the Pokemon there," she said. She glanced at Ame and Tina for a moment, suddenly remembering that the two of them would have a type disadvantage in the particular dungeon she was thinking of. She hoped they wouldn't mind, though. This was a perfect opportunity for them to improve themselves.

Lupus walked in with a Mischeif filled smirk. "so we finally get to go adventuring? Finally" Lupus said sighing at the end as he grabbed one of the plates. "hey monado Do you eat? at all? you know being a ghost and all?" Lupus asked curious to the sword on his back. as he begain to wolf down the food he had been taken. as he began to think of what mystery dungeon she was talking about. Lupus was more then prepared for most things and now he even had a sword. so he believed himself ready to tackle any dungeon. Lupus's eyes Flickered across the room. His eyes flicked at the ever careful Russet to Tina then back to Russet his eyes Settled on the frogadier and he had a short scowl before frowning and turning back down to eat. His stomach pains quenched by the food.

Lupus. pushed the plate away once he had finished and looked back at Willow. "Okay Guildmaster So when do we Start this *cough* Scavenger hunt?" Lupus asked quizzically as he moved around Thinking that. What ever they did. it would be A adventure. Lupus eyes Flashed neon blue for a moment before settling back to normal...
