Two of those (Fight Club and Full Metal Jacket) I watched earlier. Might watch some of the others, thanks.

While Durog's list is all good, you simply must watch 2001 if you're doing a classic movie thing. It's not even my favorite on his list, it's just crucial to your criteria.

I'm trying to think of some classics I've seen but then I just start thinking of books.

Uuuuum. Mary Poppins. The LOTR movies. Schindler’s List. To Kill a Mockingbird because Gregory Peck is hot dad Atticus Finch.

Interview with a vampire if only because of the absolutely unreal levels of tension between Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise. Or Brad Pitt and Antonio Banderas. What is even happening in that movie?

I don't watch Tom Cruise movies. He's as skilled an actor as Nicholas Cage, but without crossing over to being comically bad.

You haven't seen Interview With a Vampire wow. It is something that defies explanation.

Of course I watched it with a group of friends and we cracked inappropriate jokes the whole time.

I am absolutely outraged. To think that you are incapable of appreciating the cinematic brilliance of Interview? The thought makes me ill. I will be reporting you to the appropriate authorities and your notice of reeducation should arrive in the mail shortly, you mute scum.
