I'm actually really happy with the name Nightingale, I like that a lot. Can't wait to get started! When it comes to decisions like this first one, should we decide in OOC or IC?

I would like it to stay IC, but if you want to decide OOC that's fine, as long as you don't metagame it a bunch. Do whatever your character would want to do.

I'm not sure what to expect with the format of this game, having never done table-top games via post-by-post. It translates very differently to normal RPing which is to a large extent collaborative creative writing. I'm sure we'll get stuck into some of that here, but as there are heavy game elements, when it comes to decisions like this which require us to converse, I would imagine it will result in lots of very short posts as we talk. Is that ok? Also, are we waiting for anything before we start or am I ok to make a first post? :)

It should be pretty much the same as most other RPs, the difference being that you don't decide if a bullet connects or the ship malfunctions, dice do. Anyway, feel free to post. You basically have free reign of a TL 4 city right now.

Liking your post Raddum :) I'm new to RPing, is the status you posted at the end of your post a common practice? I read a couple of RPs before I started to get a grasp of how they were played and I never saw one of those statuses.

Nah, just something I figured I'd add so I don't have to edit my CS whenever something happens. I figured even if Clyde was fine, I'd add it now to make it not suddenly appear later. It'll later on also include my credits and general inventory; as well as obtained/lost items on my current round/post. Maybe other things if I think of them, like, eh... Unspent skill points.

Alright, uh, so...

I'm going to be gone until Tuesday night, starting on Saturday morning. Plans with a friend, you see. Hopefully that's understandable. >_<
