Hello everyone, welcome to the annual Purge. I have been wanting to make this RP for some time now, however I wanted to see the sequel first, which I finally have. For those not familiar with the film series and still want to join this is kinda how the tale goes. America is at its highest point of prosperity, it couldn't be better. This is because every year there is a Purge which allows people to go out on the streets and be free to do what they want. There are laws anymore, only a few rules that need to be taken into mind, as you can be prosecuted when breaking the rules of this game. Most people go out to kill off the homeless, and poor for a better economy. Not only the citizens but also the government is involved in all this, trying to kill off the poorest neighborhoods in the area. Everyone celebrates the Purge on a different way, but after all it is for the welfare of the country.

I don't really have a set amount of people I want to accept in this RP but I guess I set my limit at 10 people. Before checking making a CS check out the rules:

• No godmodding. This is obvious, we all are humans and no one has special abilities. However some people can be much more skilled in wielding firearms or blades. Just be clear in your history how you've become this good.


• Your character can die at any time. That's why I allow you to make 2 characters max. Try to survive these 12 hours, but you can die.


• No fighting in the OOC, but I don't expect that.


• If you don't post in the OOC for 5 days and the RP can't progress your character will automatically be killed off (probably by my character)


• Weapons of class 4 and lower are authorized for use during the Purge. All other weapons are restricted.


• Government officials of ranking 10 have been granted immunity from the Purge and shall not be harmed (this mainly includes the White House, FBI, S.H.I.E.L.D. etc. people we won't get in touch with)


• Police, fire and emergency medical services are unavailable during the Purge.

Name: Nikki
Age: 19
Gender: Female

Personality: Nikki is a silent and deadly killer. Ever since the first Purge she never has been the same. She is out for blood and enjoys killing other people for her own amusement. She mainly was always focused on one thing, but recently she had been getting thoughts of something else. She was in search for love, the one thing she never had. When she meets her true love, in her opinion, she will become very very protective over him and will do anything to make him love her, including murder of course. Outside of the Purge Nikki actually is a very kind and innocent girl who gets along with most people. She only displays her crazy murderous side during the Purge or when she is alone in her apartment.

Bio: Being raised in a problem family, Nikki never really had it that good. She was an only child and her parents often would fight with each other over all kind of things, sometimes even over her. When "The Purge" first was announced on TV Nikki's blood already started to pump. She hated her family, and this would be the perfect way to get rid of them. They were already as poor as it got, so financial it wouldn't make much of a difference. During the first annual Purge, Nikki's parents were shivering in fear at home, fearing that someone could break in any moment. However they weren't even aware of the danger in their own house. Nikki grabbed a large knife out of the kitchen and stabbed her parents to dead. The rest of the Purge she hid inside of her chamber. She had wrecked the front door, and multiple people had entered and left the apartment, probably duo the fact that there already were two dead bodies in the house.

After the first Purge had ended, Nikki wanted to get stronger. She wanted to kill more people. She got a job and quickly raised money to buy a katana, while also being able to take care of herself. She also had joined Kendo at a place near her house, luckily as there weren't many of those. She quickly mastered the art of wielding her katana. She now goes out every Purge to kill people on the streets, just for her own enjoyment. However she does feel that there is something missing in her life.

Skills: Nikki is a master in wielding the katana. Aside from that she has the basic knowledge of how to use a gun, not that she specifically knows the names of all the firearms etc. She also has displayed to be a skilled knife thrower.

Appearance: Basically straggly brown hair, hazel eyes, 5'8, thin.

Personality:While Stevie has many traits, there is one that dominates them all - selfish. Now, this doesn't mean she isn't capable of caring for others - she is very capable and has had a selected number of loved ones in the past. It is safe to say that Stevie uses her care and affection sparingly and sympathy is a rare occasion on her part. She only has a small number of people that she cares for, and an even smaller number of people that she loves. But most of all, she loves herself and sees to it that her needs are met before she helps anyone else. She can do fine with or without a companion - she's very independent emotionally and physically. Aside from all of this, Stevie has another dominant trait - vengeful.
Bio: The first decade or so of Stevie's life was pretty average. She grew up in a middle class family, in suburbia. She lived with her mother, father, and older brother. She went to a good high school, achieved good grades. Life was pretty good...until the purge of her senior year. Each year the Novaks would lock their doors and put up all their safety partitions while they waited out the purge. Only, this year, the partitions began to malfunction. As they closed them, they stopped half way and would not go any further. Stevie's father tried to fix it while he told the rest of the family to hide in the house. Stevie hid in an old wardrobe in the attic, hidden by large coats and scarves. She remained there for the extent of the night, too scared to leave in case there were predators in the house. Finally, as the sun rose and the purge had ended, Stevie ventured out of the wardrobe and downstairs to find the doors and windows to her house obliterated and her family dead on the floor. Every year since that night, Stevie takes part in the purge, killing off those who prey on innocent families.
She went to live with her cousin for the rest of high school, but soon moved out lived on her own, as she found it difficult to get along with others, as she cared so much for herself. She still loved her cousin, she just knew she would only hurt her if she stayed with her any longer.
Skills: Stevie took an interest in weapons, especially firearms, after her family was killed. She got her gun licence and purchased multiple guns. She made a hobby out of going to the shooting ranges and spending the entire night practicing. She was going to make damn sure that no one was going to kill her or anyone she loved ever again. She is also very good at deceiving others.
Weapons: Stevie has a colourful array of weapons. However, the ones she choses to bring with her when she purges are her Browning Hi Power pistol, her Remington rifle, and her knife.

Personality
Although she seems to be a very kind and compassionate person, Arial is ruthless, physchotic and unstable. She enjoys killing to a high extent of killing those of whom she is considered to be 'evil'. Having a strong fixation over Justice, originating from her mother that had been killed during the purge. Her opinion of justice is very blunt, believing that the goverment is corrupted due to the actions of the purge. Though outside the purge she seems to be a very well kept person, a idol to others and also a teacher. She is a loving person that cares for others..but in a strange way. She loves to kill at a extant, killing those of evil at anytime, thus she has gained the name 'Over-Justice'. ( She has a very blunt wording of choosing evil and justice. Justice is going against the goverment and rebelling against the action of the Purge and evil are those who participate and kill the innocent. )

Bio
Arial, in the present time, lives outside the city area and is in a isolated mansion. With only her living in. She has a butler at her support in which is against the purge. Arial works at a animation studio as an intern, a payed one.She helps creates storyboards and which depict the script and narrative; drawing in 2D to create sketches, artwork or illustrations; designing models, backgrounds, sets, characters, objects and the animation environment. Using a range of materials, including modelling clay, plaster, oil pants, water colours and acrylics. She helps in some of the view activities as an animator. Though outside her job she gains information on people. Those who support the purge and who are neutral. Though this would not resolve anything, those who actually support the government will soon enough die by her hands or anyone he hates them as well. Though, Arial may seem like a weak and feeble girl but she is actually a trained gun-user. As a child her mum and dad were both in the police forces and in the top ranks and during there off days they would always teach her how to use a gun and use a baton or some sort of melee weapon. As she was older she was interested in wielding and thus she had requested and designed a melee/ranged gun to help her in the purge. As a teen her life was normal and very plain until the 1st purge happened. Her mother was killed in the middle of it and which she killed the killer with her custom gun. Vowing to avenge her mother, removing the trash of those who support the purge and make the purge go on..will soon enough die.

Skills
She is a very creative person. Since she works with a animation company she knows how to do simple things such as drawing and making story lines. Though, outside of a job she is a proficient physchotic killer. Mastering both melee and ranged combat, preferring a more of ranged combat so she can stay away from dangerous weapons such as knifes, swords, ETC and during the purge she is a shadowy figure, staying away from lighted up areas and always wears black to stay hidden from those planning to kill.

Personality: Bill is a kind loving person but when it comes to the Purge, when it comes to killing the poor and the innocent and the helpless families he is totally a complete different person. He hates the government, the purge, the rich. In the Purge he becomes ruthless to those who prey on the weak. Killing people isn't really delightful for him, he feels sickened by killing, but Bill knows he have got to do it. He feels that being able to help and not helping but rather hiding, is a coward act. He will lend aid to those who needs it no matter what, he will do anything to save ones life. In his mind he thinks that by killing the rich the society will be better place. He doesn't go after the helpless and innocent ones, he goes after the murders. Outside the Purge Bill helps the poor in anyway he can.

Bio: Bill was happy with his life as a teenager though his family was poor. His younger brother was his best friend. His family lived a peaceful life. Until the Purge was announced in the TV. He never forgot the look on his parents faces. From the first Purge his family weren't ready, and they would never be. As the Purging night started the barricaded the windows and doors with furniture, but it wasn't enough. As they stood in the living room watching their front door being wrecked by a couple of people from the outside, Bill ran to hide behind the TV. A couple of men shot his family down. He saw them and stood and cursed them, the looked at him with an evil look and laughed, and left him as he cried for his dead family. After that night he swore an oath to kill the rich and lay aid to the helpless. He now work as a cook in a small diner.

Skills: he is good with pistols, he had saved up some money to buy a couple of pistols, he went to shooting arenas to practice shooting. Plus his good with his Machete.

Weapons:A 9mm pistol and a sharpened machete.

Name: Arthur Rutherford
Age: 45
Gender: Male
Side: Neutral

Appearance: Despite his age, he is quite fit and charming. Icey gray eyes.

Personality: Arthur is quite the despicable and ruthless social figure, yet he manages to charm even his adversaries in his line of work. He had slept with enemies, dined with rivals, and sold millions worth of property and immunity applications to those that want him dead. Arthur is also a bit discriminating when it comes to social classes, he despises the poor, and can't stand those of them that call themselves middle-classes. He is also quite gentle with women, and very misanthropic in general.

Bio: Arthur is a private contractor that supplies the government with everything it needs to enforce the Purge, and keep it solid and untainted. He is among other contractors, he mainly dwells in the trade of property and immunity applications, which are just that, expensive applications that promise their respective buyers immunity in the next 5 years. Arthur was a banker and a shareholder in three major companies before the Purge was first announced, ever since he sought to privatize the phenomena. He decided to refuse an immunity application, knowing it is false, and instead armed his manor and self with enough men and firepower to turn away any eager purgers.
Skills: Wide knowledge in politics, economics and the whatnots of the Purge and its laws and paperworks. Other than that he is quite good at human interaction, persuasion, and deception. He has a good knowledge in medium sized rifles and handguns.
Weapons: An armory in his manor.

I know my char might sound overpowered, but trust me he is not, I only needed his sheet to look so to have quite an impact when he is caught in the story. Also I figured for.change, we could have a character that isn't the usual purged. Someone who is not as keen on the battleground, but more behind the drapes.

We're gonna start a few hours before the beginning of the Purge. Still deciding the starting location though. I was thinking about a Purge party in a rich neighborhood... but there's not really someone yet who would attend it. Any suggestions?
