This is just a thread to see how many people might be interested in a sandbox supernatural RP?

To go into further detail-- you could play as any supernatural race, or human, and each race belongs to their own "covenant" if you will. With that having been said, some races mingle better than others. Obviously a vampire and a werewolf are sworn enemies (but that doesn't mean you can't break the rules). More than that, there are "families" within these races- some wealthy and respectable, and some not so much. For example; For vampires, there might be a very prestigious family who is well respected and seen as the "royalty" of that race.

Now, as for where the setting would be-- I would like some opinions on what they enjoy most. A modern setting, or perhaps a medieval setting? Would you rather be involved in a RP set in the big city, or a village in the middle of a mystical forest.

As soon as we get at least 5-10 people interested, we can move forward.

PS: There is also a thread identical to this one in Advanced. I just want to see which gets more interest.

Would prefer a modern, big city setting. But, I could work with a medieval setting if I had to.

I haven't done medieval fantasy RPing for a while, so if you go that route I'm definitely interested. Interested in the other one too to a lesser degree, but yeah.

Wow, I am glad this is getting so much interest. The way I see it, it's somewhat of a tie as far as setting goes. I will try to compromise as much as possible, rest assured.

Actually, there's four medieval, two modern, one either way. XD

I would vote modern because of the fact that these super natural characters would have to be carefull because of the normal worlds police and stuff getting involved.

Also because I've been watching the wolf among us by pewds XD

That does sound cool. Having to work around the modern day obstacles does make it more interesting. But have any of you guys seen the latest Hobbit movie? I really enjoyed that kind of setting- it was grungy, mystical, wild, and a touch creepy. They had forests, rivers, villages, etc. It was like a classic fantasy setting.

I'm really hoping for medieval, honestly. ^^;

I even have a character idea for it already too.

Yeah. I am now kind of leaning towards a more medieval setting as well. I'm going to begin working on the thread and will keep you all informed.

okay cool, I'm fine with medieval, I agree with you on the latest hobbit movie setting, it was very good and had a range of areas.

Interested in this as either medieval or modern cities, already have a concept in my head.
