Winter was about to reply, feeling better at Aksaja's words, even though he was a bit tipsy. But as she opened her mouth to reply, when she felt the net fall on top of them. She barely had time to yell for help when she saw the man with the ugly scar knock Aksaja out with a bootheel to the face. She was dragged by her arms painfully, and she struggled as hard as she could, trying to find a place where she could bite the man dragging her down the alley. Finally, His hand came withing biting distance, and she clamped down, the tiny giveaway fangs punturing his hand. He yelped and nearly dropped her, but held tighter instead, despite the slippery blood dripping out of the wound in his hand.

This is all my fault, Winter thought in shame. If I hadn't played with my everice this probably wouldn't have happened. With a desperate last attempt at escape, she tried to bit the man again. She nearly succeeded in escaping until the man with the scar intervened and had the other one pin to to the ground, as he raised his foot and with an evil smile, crushed her leg beneath his boot. She screamed in agony and blacked out, the pain and shock was too much for her to handle.

Aster

The firewater dragon blinked softly as he looked at the ice dragon teen, frowning a little as Winter started to cry at Chu's stern words. Aster opened his mouth slightly, but before he could utter a word of comfort, the teen quickly left the bar. Not long after, the more tipsy teen followed suit. Worry took a knife to his heart and his stomach turned painfully. Leaving so suddenly was also suspicious, and risky when going alone in the city without much experience. Fear started to prick his way in his body, and his hands trembled as thoughts rushed through his head.

It was then he glanced toward the two hooded men, the newest arrival now watching them, studying them. Piercing his lips, his fingers clasped the glass tightly as he felt his heart pound against his chest. They know... He could see it... And that man, whoever he was, was dangerous. There may be more around, preying on the teens.

Aster was deathly afraid... But... He worried for the safety of his companions. Taking a deep breathe to calm his nerves he glanced to the earth dragon and the grandfather. "You need to leave quickly... It's no longer safe here... So hurry after this..." the red haired man said quietly before glancing toward Chu and gave a gentle warm smile. "...Take care of Myrtle... Dear Chu." he said softly, pressing his index finger to his own lips before pressing them against Chu's in a indirect kiss. Perhaps it was talking or he simply wanted to tease him back after the whole day of teasing, but he didn't care right now. He suddenly stood and waved to them.

"Now you drunken men get back to your lovely wives. They're going to scold you for being out so late . Sorry to bother you, my darling children can be quite temperamental. We just came here after all." he said a bit louder now, before turning quickly, his bangs swishing away from his eyes to reveal the odd coloring.

Instantly, the two hooded strangers stood when he turned his back on them. Hearing the chairs shift, Aster hurriedly moved out the door, feeling the two hooded humans follow him. Once in the alley, he sprinted, listening to the footsteps behind him, his heart roaring in his ear as terror filled every fiber of his being. Not too long, he found the two teens, netted and unconscious with several men around them.

Aster looked at them before looking behind him to see the two hooded men who had followed him. He at least led these two away from Chu and The Grandfather. At least... They will be alright.. Body trembling, his glowing amethyst eyes watched each cloaked hunter before leaping out of the way of a thrown net, eyes glowing as streaks of flame and water swirled around his body in a red and blue tornado. The elements then formed several swords, two of which he held in his hands.

"Ah, a adult, quite a fine catch... Though this one seems quite nervous... Yet your still not trying to fly away? Worried about your foolish little friends?" the large cloaked man from the bar grinned.

As the hunters drew closer, Aster waved his hands and the multiple elemental blades lashed out at them, the blades looking so fierce yet elegant and beautiful and streaks of blue and red meshed together to defend the firewater dragon. It was then though the large man from the bar removed his hood, revealing his left glowing golden eye... The pupil slitted... A dragons eye... And magic ebbed from it. Quickly, Aster brought his blades up and blocked a large golden sword that almost looked like a bone. Actually this mans's sword, the helmet... The armor.. Were made up of dragon bones.

"Haha fearful little dragons shouldn't be fighting... Bad things tend to happen to those who struggle..." The dragon armored human spoke before leaping away and to Aster's surprise, the bone sword left its golden handle to lunge toward him, connected to the handle by a chain. Before Aster could react, the weapon pierced right through his stomach.

Freezing, he coughed as he struggled to remain standing, but yet again another surprise came, as the tip of the sword that stuck out from his back, opened and a net enveloped him. His magic faded and his body trembled as the man came closer, before punching him across the face, causing the adult to fall to the ground. Aster wanted to whimper, to cry, to simply stop breathing... But he just curled his body and breathed heavily, before finally losing conciousness... Perhaps a safer place to him.

The dragon armored Hunter looked down at the three newest prisoners before nodding to the others. "Take them to headquarters..." he said firmly, watching as his fellow hunters grabbed the limp bodies and started off back to HQ.

Edges of objects started getting fuzzy after Jeonbae had shaken out the last droplets from his drink. The faces of each of the dragons twisted around slightly, seemingly distorted. He blinked a few times, his hands wrapped around the glass, the lightning dragon staring into it pensively. Talking about the dangers of hunters had unearthed memories that were better left alone. He didn't want to think about them, but the alcohol helped with that.

Don't have more than one drink. You need to stay alert, those hooded figures are suspicious.

"Yeah, yeah..." he muttered. "Gotta protect the children..." Jeonbae looked up. Chu was talking to Winter in a raised voice, a scowl on his face, the ice dragon looking chastised and ready to burst into tears. She wordlessly got up and left the bar. A blip of fear registered in the back of Jeonbae's mind, dulled by the cocktail he had drank. Aksaja followed suit, wobbling around as much as Jeonbae's vision was. The fear returned, stronger than before, sobering the grandfather dragon up somewhat. He glanced over to Aster. His face was composed, but Jeonbae could tell he was scared.

Great, now both of the children are out of your sight. What are you going to do if they get captured by hunters, huh? You messed up.

"You need to leave quickly... It's no longer safe here... So hurry after this..." he said in a low voice, making sure nobody else heard. "...Take care of Myrtle... Dear Chu." He smiled, then began to speak in a much louder voice.

"Now you drunken men get back to your lovely wives. They're going to scold you for being out so late. Sorry to bother you, my darling children can be quite temperamental. We just came here after all." He left the bar quickly.

Jeonbae nodded, his eyes widening as he realized what was going on. As a grandfather, it was his responsibility to protect the children and members of the tribes, and because of one drink, he may as well have failed. He stood up quickly, looking over to Chu for a second. He began to run towards the entrance of the bar, elbowing the crowd out of the way, into the street. Two hooded men, similar to the ones he had seen in the bar, chased someone down an alleyway some ways down the street. Jeonbae started to run, stumbling a little, still sobering up, ducking down the same alley the hooded figures did. Three forms, Winter, Aksaja, and Aster, were in nets, slung over the shoulder of the hooded figures. A imposing figure, a man clad in armor made of unusual material, blocked the alley between Jeonbae and the figures. Hearing labored breathing and urgent footsteps, the armored warrior turned around to face Jeonbae. One of his eyes were golden, and the lightning dragon could tell it was infused with magic.

"Well, hello there! Was wondering when you'd show up!" he exclaimed, laughing sardonically. Jeonbae took a step back as he confronted the man, his eyes narrowing. Maintaining some composure, he untied his bandana and took off his round, dark glasses, neatly putting them in one of the many pockets of his robe.
"I won't waste any time," Jeonbae intoned, unfettered rage creeping into his voice.

He threw his palm forward, an electrical arc erupting from his hand towards the armored warrior. Seemingly absorbing the energy, he shook it off, grinning. He started rushing towards Jeonbae, who jumped out of the way. However, the warrior swung the large, bulky sheathe of his sword around, hitting Jeonbae and sending him several feet into the alley, the wind knocked out of him. A dull pain lingered in his stomach, and he found it hard to move without agitating whatever wound had manifested inside him. Seemingly unable to call upon the power of lightning, he stumbled and fell to the ground as he tried to run away. His ears were ringing, and the edges of his vision grew blurry again from the impact. The warrior laughed again.

"Hurt, didn't it? It's made out of dragon bones."

You're waaaaay in over your head on this one. Better get away while you can.

Jeonbae glared one last time at the warrior, and flew up into the air, transforming into his sinuous dragon form after some difficulty, winding up above the streets. He roared in anger, and took to the edge of the city they had first come in through. He abruptly switched back to his compact form, dirt flying up around him as he crashed into the earth. He slowly pushed himself off the ground, coughing. He felt absolutely hopeless. He wasn't able to get past that warrior, and the other dragons besides Chu were on their way to the Hunters' HQ. Chu would have to get them, but he had no way of knowing if he did or not. He laid back down on the ground, trying his best to ignore the throbbing from where the sheathe had hit him. The pain would take a while to go away from such an impact...

She run out, was he that strict sounding to make her cry?! He felt horrible, he was worried for their all well being, he wasnt attempting to hurt any one. But before he could go after her the other teen did it. That was maybe a good idea, a teen may be better at calming a teen down.
So the earth dragon leaned back into the chair. He didnt notice the other clouded figure go out, him thinking over his words made his attention lower.
"You need to leave quickly... It's no longer safe here... So hurry after this..."
Chu looked up blinking confusedly, the talk about hunters...that must have made them all feel nervous... The couldnt have fallen in they eyes...or? Did Aster noticed something... The earth dragon sat more upright,glancing over to aster as he spoke towards him.
"...Take care of Myrtle... Dear Chu."
And a indirect kiss placed on his lips to seal any possible response he had on that. The train of thought completely changing. A hint of red hue on his cheeks. This was Chus first time any dragon returned his flirty nature. It made him extremely happy, his heart pumping fast, well that was already happening because of the fear the bunny shaped dragon had. He wanted to hug Aster and at same time wanting to slap Aster over the head for talking stupid.
He was pretty much stunt as his brain was replayed the moment, attempting to sort the things in a more logical sense. There was danger, but that was completely dimmed to the idea that he may have actually found a true mate. Noticing he was all alone sitting on the table.
''Eh?.....'' When did they left?! And Jeonabe too.

He jumped up, he turned towards the door and started walking.
''The night is dangerous, for someone like you. ''
Chu froze looking over the butter knife polishing bartender. Moris was his name Chu remembered now for some reason. And the man never looked so creepy like then. The instinct to hide was overflowing him.
''Good night.'' He responded and stepped out the bar with a hurried step. Where were the others? It was a scream that answered his question. A lighting, he could swear that he saw lighting in that alleyway just down the street. Undoing his boots as he moved really slowly closer to the noise, ready to escape at any suden movement.

The earth dragon managed to come closer to it, he had to squirm but there they were. Jeonabe bowed over on the floor, and figures surrounding him. His eyes focusing deeper in the darkens there he was Aster in a net and he was that ....blood, that dripped from him? The two teens Winter and Aksaja in nets too with hunters doing something to them.

''Do not move.'' A ominous whisper caught in Chus ears. Feeling a peek of something on the back of his neck. A sharp peek of something. ''Told you the night is dangerous.'' It was Moris who was aiming a one hand version of a crossbow on the back of Chus neck. The earth dragon didnt dare to even breath in.
A few hunters noticed them.
'' Good work.'' One with long ponytail said. '' Take care of that grandpa He may at any moment try attacking again! I will ensure this one dont run away.'' The hunter with he long ponytail aimed something at chu, and smirked wide. He was enjoying the moment of having him on the gun point.
''Are they idiots?'' Moris growled behind Chu, and the earth dragon couldnt take it anymore. His heart was pumping faster and faster as if it would explode at any point in time. The net started flying towards him, his body shifting forms to his true form using Moris shoulder as a step stone and shield.

Everything was done after a moment.
Chu was sprinting in his small shape into the busiest street of the city.
''You fucking idiots! Who taught you how to fucking hunt! Holeheads!'' Moris voice ringed in Chu ears, the bartender was extremely not pleased that he was caught in the dragons net. He heard the order ''Catch that dragon! I dont care if it loos like a bunny!'' Him to be caught by some, those words making him only run faster. Reaching the busy street the screaming mixing now with many ladies under which dresses he run making them lift up. The pets barking and freaking out as something run under them. The confusion and chaos helping the small dragon to even easier lose the hunters. As people would be so nice and panic easily, making it harder for the few to move between the masses. He made a sharp turn and pressed his front palms down on a metal sewer bars grid. It was loss and the bunny slipped in the sewer system. He was shaking as he rolled in the smelly liquids.

''B-b-breath...'' He whispered to himself,slowly moving thought the pipes back in the direction he came from running. '' I..I think Chu...'' He hopped eyes closed, his magic sensing the many vibration, using it to its full potential he could hear the heart beats of his friends. He had to do something. He couldnt take them on... he escaped because he didnt even try to fight them. He had to tell the grand grand parents what happened here. The hunters didnt want them death... they wanted them alive to juice them like a lemon from magic...

He came to a crossing in the sewer pipes, he peeked his head into the left one, following it he should easily come close to the tribe...Another idea made his way in Chus mind, if he follows the hunters...he would know where they took them...
''I dont know what to do...'' he whined a tear falling down his cheek. He felt so lonely, so vulnerable. The earth around the pipes shifting rubbing over the metal and weaken it with it. It wanted to wrap around the earth dragon, and comfort him. Just at that time something small landed on his nose. A firefly.
Chu was overflowed with happiness on seeing it. '' Please save them!...I will follow them so you can woke up grandgrandma!''
Siabel shock her head. Gripping myrtles hand and pulling her back and closer to herself as the wind dragon made a carefully step backwards. '' I dont know her but I can sense how old she is...She is a Grand Grand Mother. You know the most powerful dragons the one who can destroy a continent in a day type of dragon.'' Siabel whispered fast, she wanted to retreat some more and pray the dragon dont wake up. Sadly Mirazan did opened her eyes and looked extremely angry.

The blond girl sat up and growled out a inhuman roar. All the lights looked brighter and one could feel the light pressure pressing on their shoulders. Feeling heavily and dangerously. Siabel didnt dare to move a inch, she never felt that amount of magic radiating from one dragon in her life. The six year old girl was never more scarier either.
''I could rip some of those humans up to pieces right now.'' The girl spoke turning to the 3 girls standing there. The light pressure lifted itself some bit, but it was still there.
''Tch, what were you thinking of bringing humans down here?''
Mirazan glared at Siabel who was pulling Momo to stand behind her, which the human girl happily did.
''I...I...''

''Enough, I dont have time for that Siabel. To think they were laying low like that. Unforgivable. '' Mirazan eyes settled on Myrtle walking up to her, the grand grand mother looked up. Her blond hair moved out of the way. She poked Myrtle belly. '' Tell me what kind of machines can human make that sucks a dragons magic away? Because those machines maybe used on your dragon friend. '' She said with a stern look. Light tentacles moving from her back and wrapping around the 3 girls taking them off earth and carrying them upstairs. Listening to what they had to say.

Aster

The man had fallen, but the warrior did not take long to regain conciousness from the attack and stood up again, brushing himself off and cracking his neck like the blows were nothing. Simply grinning at the grandfather dragon, he tapped his chin before pulling out a golden geared up handcannon, a magical energy emitting from the barrel. Dragon magic.

"Now good man I could demonstrate our latest weapons, powerful enough to take down a grandfather dragon in a shot... But that would be a waste of precious energy. I'll show you back at headquarters." The armored man mused as he glanced at his companion at the bar before smirking at the grandfather. "You really should have thought this over, old dragon. You're red headed friend gave you a great chance to escape yet you foolishly walked in here and picked a fight. Especially when we have your friends captive.... Their magic is valuable, but I'm not against slaying them now and cutting them in itty bitty pieces before your eyes. After all, dragons are useful dead or alive." he said before digging a heel into the hilt of true sword stuck in Aster's belly, causing a scream from the unconscious adult.

"Or perhaps I should try the teens? Their magic isn't quite as plentiful just yet after all... Oh.. And they can also live without a few body parts. Maybe I should take a eye to go with my other one?" The man chuckled as he moved over to the netted teens, bringing his sword to point directly down at them, swinging side to side just so close to the eyes.

He then blinked as he glanced over to see the other man at the bar, another dragon. They caught quite the package deal. The barkeeper Moris had the boy from behind, but as the nets were tossed, the dragon transformed into a rabbit like creature and hopped away. He tsked at the stupidity of the lower hunters. "I'll have to hire some experienced dragon hunters." he mused casually before shrugging. "Net the red and let's head back. Before this one bleeds to death and those dragon worshippers get here. He tries anything, take the teens eyes or ears." he said, picking up Aster roughly and flung him over the shoulder before walking through the dark alley.

It took a bit, but they soon reached a large building, a sign noting the name of the guild building.

The Sinister Saints.
Myrtle

The human blinked curiously as Siabel explained what exactly the little girl was, while pulling Myrtle closer to the black dragon for safety. That little girl was a grand grand dragon? How interesting. Guess all dragons just have interesting compact appearances of all different shapes and sizes. Although it did not take long for the little girl to stand looking absolutely livid and storming over to them. Yelling at Siabel for bringing humans here. Siabel pulled Momo behind her for safety.

Despite how her two companions seemed quite nervous by the angered little girl, Myrtle hardly seemed gaze and just looked at her curiously. Myrtle was after all, known to be brave to a fault. As she was poked, she had to stifle a giggle, mosh because her tummy was sensitive. Worry then clouded her emerald gaze at the words there blonde spoke of. A friend in trouble? At the realization, she sighed and facepalmed before ruffling her red hair thoughtfully as she tried to keep calm and think. This was a serious situation to worry about, since by the sounds of it, Aster got captured by hunters. However, panicking or getting angry about it wasn't going to help anybody. Keeping calm and thinking over the information she had will.

Though she blinked as a tentacle wrapped around her and lifted her up, and moving her along with the little girl. Despite wanting to gawk and examine the strange thing happening, she tried to remained focus as she crossed her arms thoughtfully.

"Mhmm well the hunters were talking about making something like that about a year ago. They did suggest for me to make it but I had better things to do. But there was this interesting jewel they found... Mhmm my hypothesis would be they imbedded their machines with that jewel. It's a quite a new gem they discovered and I found as well. By examinations, it's like a magical parasite. Draining any kinds of magic, be it from human mages, unicorns, whatever. Though the more powerful the magic, the more side. Effects it causes to the victims. Since dragons have the most magical energy then anything, well then the end result for them is death if fully exposed to it. They must of found a way to harness it to their own advantage. They might even be able to harness them enough to make use the side effects it has on dragons. Make them lose their minds to the point they just simple animals." the girl explained, rattling off her thoughts of what this could be.

"So if we're lucky, they won't use it immiedietly. I think they talked about having other experiments before fully just killing a dragon." Myrtle finished.

Aksaja finally woke up after being knocked out and he woke up in time to hear about the men thinking about using a weapon to kill a grandfather and that was so unlikely it didn't seem possible to him yet they talked about like it was simple. Then they started to talk about taking off they're ears and eyes and while aksaja was usually a kind person but hearing that they would torture and tear off their body parts aksaja felt enraged he wasn't going to do down like this! "Let be out mother fuckers! You better hope I don't get out here otherwise I'll bee the line tearing body parts you monsters!" Aksaja trekked as he started to tear and bite at his bet moving as much as possible to bake his carrier drop aksaja so he could get out and use the metal around him to his advantage, all he needed was to get it if the net then hee will make these hunters into sculptures!

Winter groaned and woke up to a fiery pain in her leg. She opened her catlike slitted eyes and looked around. She was in a metal net. A net. She felt unadulterated rage burn along her viens, and her icy blue eyes glowed with her wrath. She snarled, a dark, viscious sound that promised mind breaking agony, were she to ever get out of the net. The man carrying her pinched her broken leg and she howled in pain, her fingernails hardening as she slashed at his back with the razor sharp nails.

"Put me down so that I may fdeeze your body and smash you to ice shards!" She growled. She concentrated on turning the metal net into dry ice. Dry ice didn't even prickle her skin, but to humans it was agony. And maybe if he dropped her, the ice would shatter and she could shift into her dragon form and fly away. She could also freeze the other humans and shatter them to help her friends get away with her. Winter's hair practically glowed, like sunlight on untouched snow as her eyes got even icier.

The armored clad man glanced to the two awakened teens who were snarling and attempting to get away. Though he seemed hardly worried about them and simply gave a lazy sigh and shook his head. Humming a little a rummaged a hand through his robes as they walked into the building.

"Fools, you should of collared them when they were unconscious. But I suppose I'll have to teach them a little lesson." The man mused before looking at the girl with glowing hair. [b]"Now, my warning apply to you two as well... Behave or else. After all little girl, who was the one who decided to so foolishly show her powers off like that? And yet your dear elder here tried his best to save you both, of course he was much to soft hearted about it. But I suppose, after this, he will probably despise you more for simply causing such trouble." he said as he pulled out a dark metallic black knife, before slicing it down Aster's left leg. Causing a cry of agony.

"Now, I wonder if these dear teens will cause him to become a cripple? How unfortunate. After all, they got him into this mess. I do not know if I should call him honorable or foolish to attempt to save such inconsiderate children." The Hunter mused before the knife sliced the other leg, considering both teens struggled.

"AAAAAGH!!!!" Aster cried out, his body trembling but his mind still blank.

After that, he took out a silver collar with gears and odd colored gems imbedded in them and placed it around Aster's neck. The hunters carrying the two teens, did the same to the younger dragons, disabling their magical spells even if they got the nets of. Walking through the halls, ignoring the dripping blood as some servants cleaned up the mess casually. The hall was grand inside the guild, many hunters wandering around. Though when they reached the very back, they came upon a stone wall, seeming to be a dead end. Though the Hunter whispered a few unheardable words and pressed his hands against certain stones in a certain order, and a piece of the wall slipped open to reveal what appeared to be a metallic contraption. Stepping inside, the armored man pressed a few of the strange buttons before the wall closed and the contraption moved downwards.

After a few minutes or so, the doors open to reveal a pristine hall. Stepping out, the hunters continued on, taking a left, right, left, right, right, left turns until reaching a dark corridor full of cells. Each holding some sort of creature. Be it dragon, unicorn, mermaid, fairies, chimera, and other magical creature that were chained up seemingly appropriately to their species. Each dragon was put into a empty cell, the teens cells were across from each other, while adults more spred apart, being more above them on the next tier line of cages. Wrists and ankles chained together with imbedded glowing gems to the stone cold walls.

The cells had metallic black prison bars with what seemed to be a glowing blue force field over it.

The armored man cracked his neck before looking at a fellow Hunter. "Go get some vials and collect some blood off the bleeding one. Might as not waste the blood. Patch him up a little after. His natural body magic will heal him, but I might have beaten up a bit too much for even that." he mused, a salute being given before lower hunters went off to do what they were told.

Mirazan looked carefully over the girl. The information was more than unsettling. She carried all 3 up the stairs and back to the room where the tech was left behind. Carefully placing the two humans each beside their respective tech pile, to last place Siabel down, the light tentacle patting the wind dragon on the head before it melted away.

''There is another concern I have too. Tell me, would those machines be able to break thought the magical shield that hides and protect the village?''
Momo calmed down once she was settled down, the grand grand mother was less scarier than she imagined her that she would be. Her own mind already mulling over the information, she was given.She was still curious in nature. ''I would think that it would depend on how the magic works....'' The Girl tapped her chin thinking aloud.

Mirazan nodded. '' Fair enough, I will explain it to you all so you can answer my question. I cannot make any action if I dont know for sure how things stand.'' The girl took a pillow and sat down, hugging her legs she started.
'' To understand it I must first give you some of dragons history. Back back in the far past the dragons had only one form and nearly all were at war with each other. There was no age like now each dragon was just a dragon and would do what ever they wanted. Some would horde and steal killing any thing that come to close. Some dragons hunted and eat dragons to gain even more magic powers. Dragons would barely make any eggs and our situations and existence limited to only the strong enough to survive. Then on a moonless night a dragon hatched from a egg shimmering in all colors there it is. This dragon was the one who was special. Just hatched he started fighting defeating every dragon in the first 99 days of his life. All dragons were defeated and all were bowing their head to him. On the 100 day he transformed in the perfect compact form, shape shifting was a magic not existent in dragons of that time. He declared himself the oldest dragon gave the morals and age as his teachings to ultimately share his magic with each dragon. But even he wasnt so powerfully to share the perfect compact form to all.

He was the one who created the magic protecting the tribe. He feed the magic until he was alive to after his death to have the oldest take over the call. The shield would have long ago stopped working if there wasnt a constant magic flow in it. As a grandgrandmother my presence alone radiates magic, enough magic for the shield to be on the fullest. With out this flow of magic the shield would last a few weeks at most. This is a reason the grand grand parents rarely if at all leave the villages they protect. If those machines can harm this shield or suck its magic away.....I cannot risk to leave.''

The grandmother explained critically observing the humans.
'' So who will you send in your place to save them?'' Siabel asked, not thinking much about her question. Until the GGM smirked at her. The blond girl planned to send her?!
''No way!'' She instantly protested. ''You know humans better than most dragons ever will, you know how to behave under them. But I will not send you to go alone.'' Was Mirazans answer with a tone that said it clearly there is no more discussion needed on that.
Chu followed silently his friends all the way to under the Sinister Saints. His eyes closed as he concentrated on the earth vibrations listening to the foot steps, and hearing the words spoken. He was shaking as he heard what things were being done to them. Bleeding.... Aster... He couldnt do anything yet. If he tried it would be more than useless, it my get him captured too. His heart clenching and curling up for a few moments he waited silently.

Ikkan Palax

Ikkan's head rose from the water, looking at the golden sky as it started getting dark. Sounds of the other dragons around, some bathing, some chatting, others being romantic. For a split second Ikkan felt a weird feeling within the pit of her throat "Love is a terrible thing Ikkan, you must remember that, else you'll have to deal with the same boneheaded dragon everyday for the rest of your very long life..." and image of one of her older siblings saying that to her, made her make a deep throated laughing sound from with in her throat "The easier days I suppose those were, well not all easy..." she felt the phantom pains of her scar again. It acted up every now and then but it wasn't so bad, it at least kept it's memory of the scar alive, making sure it wasn't forgotten. In truth she didn't want to anyways.

She swam out of the water, shaking the water off of her, and made her way towards the forest. She switched to her compact form, her cloths forming around her. She pulled her mask away from her face, the mask fading away into a mist and she pulled her hood down, enjoying the the glooming lights coming from with in the forest. A song soon played from it, a fairy singing in the distance to her, she hummed along looking at the wildlife, It was still the festival so she hadn't gotten the chance to leave, but what she wouldn't kill to go drink or talk to some the merchants down in Gold Village, she loved the environment there.

Deep in thought about being in the village, she realized that was was wondering, which wasn't good. Some of the kids and teens have gotten lost with in the dense forest, even she had to admit that was capable of getting lost. Especially with the fairies and pixies that lived with in the forest that loved to play jokes on dragons. She jumped into the air and took flight, looking around and saw the waterfall off in the distance, she made her way back to the waterfall and saw that it was somewhat empty now, with the occasional dragon here of there, she found a quiet spot and landed. Turning in a quick circle and laying down with her legs crossed, and resting her snout on her legs, she wagged the end of her tail humming the song that the fairy had been singing, going back to thinking about Gold Village.

As always, Ezekiel had been planning. Over the weeks he had been devoting more and more of his time to take the heathens, the ones who threatened his gods. It came to the point where he would isolate himself, rarely seeing others in the church.He would still see the occasional follower that needed advice when he needed to, and had met and welcomed the growing number of new converts into his church, but he even developed a habit of skipping meals if it meant that he would learn more about his sworn enemies. He lifted his head up from the haphazardly spread papers around his desk, rubbing his temples. Hours of scanning over these documents usually left him with a migraine, but it was worth it. He learned more about the Saints, and even if they were doing the same, he was confident he held the upper hand.

Suddenly, Ezekiel stopped. Wait. From the grand window he saw movement on the guild's side of the street. And they had...Something? The lack of light made it hard to see, but they definitely had something. Ezekiel watched the traffic to and from the building a lot, but he hadn't seen much like this before.

This was an interesting problem. Now, he had managed to get a couple of documents and rumors about plans, but nothing was this early as far as he knew. His own would have to get changed, and it annoyed him, but it was for the better good. Down a staircase and past a few rooms he got the attention of three of the orphans in his charge, the older ones, the ones he knew he could trust. "Mattias." Calling one of them over, he directed them to watch the scene to see anything he might miss. He called another over, named Florence, to accompany him to the guild. He took only a pistol and dagger, hiding them under his over shirt on each side of his waist. If this went as intended he wouldn't be seeing any action, or have any use of them, but it always helped to be prepared. It wouldn't have been the first time he had ran into trouble with them. As an instinct he checked to see if the animal skull he normally wore was on, and of course, it was. Was there anyone who had seen him without it on? Counting the recent years, he couldn't say there was.

Before leaving, the priest took some pamphlets and information regarding the church, and directed Florence to do the same. He didn't want to enter the guild directly, at least not yet; staying on the sidewalk and around the building was a safer choice for now. It was public property after all, and while he did hand out information just to seem busy, it wasn't like it was in vain. By staying outside he was able to see the patterns of people going in and out, and would eventually hope to make it in when he could spot holes in the setup. Even making it in the front entrance would be better than not making it at all. Eventually Florence would just serve as not much more than a distraction, easily being able to run across the street in case things got bad. For now, though, the two simply handed out the leaflets and preached to anyone that seemed even remotely interested.

Aster

It hurt, and his mind was foggy. Coldness gripped his throat and wrists, shackles tying him down to the wall. His hands hanging loosely together over his head, his legs firmly pinned together by chains and his neck collared with shackles, chains connecting it to the wall and floor. He could barely move as he woke shakily. Stomach bandaged, and his shirt missing, revealing his bare upper body and his scales along his shoulders and chest.

Amethyst eyes shakily glancing around, he recongized the feeling of being trapped... Chained and caged in this cell, stone like walls feeling so cold. He felt like he was freezing, even though he hardly ever felt the cold. He had tried his best to be brave... So hard to be brave for his dragon comrades... But now he was caught... Trapped... Alone ... And afraid. Little courage remained in him and his lean muscular body trembled softly. Pain striked through his large scar that now lay fully bare for everyone to view. As if to remind him of his childhood of when he was but a display trophy for hunters.

Something warm touched his cheek, and at first he was confused by it as his vision slightly blurred. At first, he thought it was due to the minor hangover he had from the alcohol, but soon realized that his cheeks were wet and his eyes watery. Crying, he was crying. Aster was so afraid, and his courage was spent, the fear was just so overwhelming and he couldn't help but let the tears fall. The firewater dragon was glad none of his comrades could see his miserable state. He did quite look pitiful... Perhaps it was the knowledge that he mostly won't make it this time around.

Closing his eyes, he lowered his head and simply sat there, letting his body doing whatever it wanted. Cry, sob, whimper, whatever. Struggling only caused more pain and had little ability or strength to do so. The red haired man only shifted when he heard voices from outside the cells.

"Awe Draken, wondered where you were. I'd hope you could of assisted with handling that grandfather, quite troublesome." a voice belonging to the warrior who had led the capture said.

"I do not get involved in such thing unless it truly involved me. Fighting dragons is only applied if that dragon plans to destroy quite a bit of land. Not like I wouldn't mind to see humans burn, but then my meal would be lost. Now I expect quite a meal for this little favor. I'll be heading home quite soon." A deep voice spoke, a familiar one at that.

"It be easier if you would just tell me where the dragons hideout is." the warrior grumbled irritably.

"I'm a neutral party in this. I'm not going to tell you dragon secrets, and he same in return. Just business." the deep voice spoke before footsteps were heard and a figure stepped in front of Aster's cell and entered. He had a black cloak on, but he removed his hood to reveal large curved horns and red eyes. Black scales flaking the cheeks.

Aster glanced up and stiffened as he recongized the figure. A grandfather dragon.. And one he didn't particularly didn't have any favor towards. Despite wanting to question this man, his throat felt dry and he tried looking away and attempted to wipe his eyes with his bare arms. Trying to did the tears that had clung to his face.

The man had jet black hair, and he was fairly tall with a muscular build. "Aster, didn't expect to see you caught. How amusing.... Thought you were too much of a coward to actually get caught. Then again, ever since that little incident, you don't really belong to anywhere.... After all you hate your own kind don't you? Oh don't try to deny it... You act polite simply because they helped you sort of fly again.. But you hate dragons all the same. Perhaps more then hunters. So a simple offer is given much like all the dragons when they get caught. Become a obiedient pet to go against your fellow species, or simply end up getting drained and cut up into little pieces. Perhaps even experimented on. After all, since your of age, hunters like attempting breeding methods to have their own little dragon eggs. Scientific idiots of course haven't succeeded. I'm merely here as a little deal. Harder to get your favorite food now a days without much fuss." the man mused casually .

Aster glanced toward him, but said nothing and just looked away . He couldn't find words, and he couldn't stop shaking.

The armored man walked over to the caged teens and hummed ever so slightly. "Now after catching you two... I hope you consider your options. You can either cooperate with us, or not and face the consequences." the man mused.
Myrtle

Myrtle hummed as she thought over these machines the hunters came up with . She hadn't seen too much on them, considering it was a more hush hush ordeal, but she had gotten some glances on them and heard rumors. None of them sounded very good for the dragon side of things.

"I'm not so sure, but I know they must be powerful. They claim they took down a grandfather dragon in a single shot. And are planning to sell such weapons to whomever is willing to pay a lot. Tensions been a bit high currently in the kingdom." The human engineer answered, collecting her inventions and reorganizing them all to fit perfectly on her body when she was set down to the large pile. Gently patting the top of the golden orb before it entered her gauntlet.

Listening to the story, she eagerly tapped in notes in her gauntlet screen, finding such history of dragons absolutely fascinating. Though she snapped out of her energetic attitude as Siabel was basically recruited to go rescue the trapped dragons.

"I'll go to! I know my way around the city and I'm quite good and using all sorts of machines, figuring my way into the hunters lair will be tricky enough. And I suggest sneaking as much as possible to avoid outright confrontation. So I can probably take down whatever software they have guarding their little lair so we can avoid immiediete detection." she said with a bright smile, seeming ready to march on into this.

Although she still seemed cheerful and upbeat, she was worried for Aster and felt it was a bit of her responsibility to help him. Of course, panicking over it will not help the situation. Her strength was her wits and panic only caused to lose wits so it was better to remain calm in such situations.

Aksaja breathed a little deeply once he was in the cage chained up. Aksaja was steaming with rage ready to go into a fury when he was free, he listened as the hunter went over to Aster telling him what would happen to them if they chose to resist. It was either be a pet to these hunters and betray everyone Aksaja once called family or to die proudly as a true dragon, pain would be nothing. Maybe it was the rage taking over his actions but he doesn't regret what he did next.

Aksaja turned to the hunter who asked them their options and Aksaja said "come here and ill tell you my answer" Maybe it was his arrogance thinking Aksaja was going to whimper and cry to be set free but once he was close enough Aksaja grabbed the mans armor and the brief second he had him he clawed at his face leaving a nice scar on its cheek. "ILL LIVE AS A DRAGON AND ILL DIE LIKE ONE BEFORE BEING A PET TO YOU MONSTROCITIES!" Aksaja yelled angrily "doesn't matter what happens to me cause I know the second that you screw up ill rip your faces off and wear your teeth for necklaces!" Aksaja growled unsure what really got into him but he was in complete rage wanting nothing more to rip their throats out, although he was chained his eyes still changed to their dragon color even through he couldn't change or use his powers he still had his claws to give that nice scar and if he was lucky rip a throat out or two before they put him down. Now Aksaja was wondering if this was how his father was treated when they took him down, mother never talked about how his father died; if it was something like this when they killed them then Aksaja would have no regret in making their lives hell....

Winter woke with a start to a male voice screaming. She gave a half groan half whine of pain as she tried to move her stiff muscles. She shivered, saw that she could barely make a snowflake and reaized something. She was cold without her inner ice. She looked over at the black haired man and a sharp pain in her skull brought tears to her eyes. Her mouth feel open and she trembled with shock. She tried to speak, but her voice came out as a painful sounding rasp. She cleared her throat and tried again.

"I know you! I know who you are!" She stood up shakily on her good leg and leaned against the bars of her cage and looked hm straight in the eyes. "You… You abandoned me. Now you're with the hunters. How could you?" Cold tears slipped down her cheeks and she sank to the ground slowly, trembling as her mind fought to retrieve the painful, long buried memory. She felt short of breath, like all the air was being pulled from her lungs slowly.

The dull pain in Jeonbae's stomach did not get better, his vision becoming blurry at times. He slid down against a nearby tree in the great plains outside of gold village. Undoing his robes briefly, he noticed a spidery scar stretching to just below his chest and around to his spine. The area was discolored to almost black from the impact, the properties of the dragon bone sheathe having an effect on his body. He clumsily put his robes and shirt back together, He felt helpless. In his current state, it would be impossible to go back to the Gold Village, and his magic was taking a while to return, so he may as well surrender himself to the Hunters if he challenged them at all. Not to mention that he had some kind of internal injury. He coughed up some blood, unusually dark, and struggled to stand up again. He felt good enough to transform and fly back to the tribe, but that would be abandoning them to a fate far worse than just death. His eyebrows furrowed as he thought about what to do.

You could just destroy Gold Village but keep the other dragons alive, that would probably work.

He shook his head. That was a crazy thought, rarely did Dragons destroy human settlements and whenever they did, a war against them was sure to follow. No, he had to think about it more carefully. He could probably summon thunderclouds over the entire village, but carefully control it so it only struck the Hunters' Lodge. Once he had regained his strength...

His thoughts were interrupted by the coarse shouts of several men, about a mile away. Jeonbae snapped around to see who was approaching, and saw a party of six hunters, armed with various guns and in their trademark green cloaks. His heart skipped a beat as he realized they were looking for him. He ducked down and started crouch-walking, making sure to not make any sounds. However, the hunters had approached in far less time than they had expected. One of them yelled out at the sight of rustling grass, and before long, the sounds of gunfire echoed throughout the prairie, bullets whistling past him tearing through the verdant grass around Jeonbae. Suddenly, the booming crash of a cannon echoed throughout the prairie, and moments later, a cacophonous impact burst around him, sending him flying. He remembered flying up in the air and hitting the ground, pain bursting from his wound, darkness suddenly closing in around his vision, and his mind drifting off.
A rough jostling woke Jeonbae up as he felt himself being dragged along roughly. As his vision adjusted to the dim kerosene lighting, somber stone walls took shape around him, with forbidding wood and iron doors flanking the passage. He recognized this design from many years ago...
"The Hunters' Lodge..." he murmured sadly, realizing that he had failed and been captured. He did not have his robes on, instead dressed in a plain and somewhat ragged white shirt, with loose, equally torn tan pants. He felt the cold metal of a collar fastened around his neck.

They must have taken your robe with all that stuff in it, good job.

Jeonbae was brought back to his senses as the men dragging him stopped abruptly in front of a door. They opened it and dragged him roughly inside, throwing him inside a cage. The impact jarred him again, the pain in the wound doubling once more. He sat up painfully, resting against a bar, before he noticed the others inside. Aksaja, Winter, Aster. The lack of Chu in a cage gave him hope for a single moment, but fear rushed back as he saw the three dragons captured.

"Oh, I was wondering when you would show up with him," a deep, rumbling voice said. He recognized that voice from long ago, but could not remember. A grandfather dragon stood over them, looking down at Jeonbae's cage.

"It didn't take long, dragon-infused weapons are truly wondrous." Jeonbae didn't pay attention, a pit growing in his stomach and gnawing away at his heart as he tried to hide his shame. He was the grandfather of the tribe, and he had failed to protect the children of the tribe. He had no idea how Mirazan would react... it was unforgivable. He did not cry, but he did not want to show his face either.

Mirazan

The grand grandma nodded. It was too risky. Sending Siabel was a good choose and the human girls looked as if they wanted to go too. That will be acceptable. But it will not be enough. If the hunters....no she knew the hunters managed to take down Jeonabe.

One teen and two humans are just not cutting it.

''I am accepting you offer to assit in saving the dragons. I am not found of you, but I can see that you do care for Aster. Pick all your things and all off you go down to the clearing behind the crystal shop. Wait there untill you see my fire fly. I will lead the safest route up to the city. ''

The blond child instructed as she leaned with her back against the wall eyes falling closed. It wasnt even several moments later when the dragon was appearing asleep. The debate was clear sending too strong of the dragons is not the best idea if the hunters manage to gain control over the magic those strong individuals posses they will become even stronger. No that was out of question.
Sadly sending too weak of a dragon wouldnt do much good either, especially if they do not manage up to free the dragons that god captured. Too many dragons wasnt good either, it was easier to have one or two fail as prey to the hunters.

Hundredth of fireflies were crossing over the heads of many dragons inside the tribe. SHe was thinking, someone with the right abilities. It was a feeling, a soft tuck inside her belly making her focus on a specific dragon. Mirazan instincts were pointing on the right dragon, she was a bit reluctant, but as a grand grand mother one knows that the best answers often are given out of blue. She had faith and so one firefly landed on the nose of a dragon laying beside the waterfalls.

All of other fireflys dispelled, making the one on Ikkan Palax nose shine even brighter. It was a humming nose as the light creation flapped the wings cutting the air in a patter that made it sound as if words were spoken. Which was the intention.

''I am sorry to interrupt you sleep. But may I ask you as the grand grand mother of the dragon tribe to assist a dragon teen and her two companions on the mission they are going.'' The little light bug didnt wait for a yes or no.
''Perfect, I am more than glad a responsible dragon like you will go with them. The more time you spend waiting, the more problems will arise. So its in best interest of us all if you could go as as fast as possible to the clearing behind the crystal shop. They will show you the way.''

And the firefly was gone, but not before a warm but strict feeling light shined over Ikkan. A light that could feel how powerfully it can be if wanted. And how much the owner of the light will be disappointed if Ikkan didnt move to the wished place that instance.
Mirazan took a breath, the teen and the two humans were not in the nursery anymore. That was good. She closed her eyes there was another few she had to inform.
Chu was getting frustrated, He tried hard to dig a hole close to the levels where the cages were but he couldnt reach it. Either there was a metal net, or granite stone, or heavy cement plates stopping him where ever he tried to go. The under levels were protected by many different elements, probably the hunters thought in advance that to confine a dragon it wouldnt be good to rely only on protection of one or two elements.

Nibbling on a spot on different sort of net he tried to reach deeper, it was a bad choose just as the first protective layer came off a electricity found its way thought the earth and nearly went thought the earth dragon. A clay like layer Chu moved fixing the cord up. A net of electric running cords.

He was returning to the vents just in time to hear Aksajas ragging voice. That was good, he was alive....for the moment. The little bunny shaped dragon tried to spy where the cage keys are, but couldnt from his position. Entering the hallways was too scary, because he would still have quite the way to go before he could come even close to Aster, Winter,Aksaja and Jeonabe.

He saw a little light appearing in front of him, he nodded. Giving one last look down the hallway, he moved back up the vents into the canalization and slipped out behind a building. Returning to his compact form. The grand grandmother had a plan...or something. He walked out the hallway peeking at the hunter lounge on the other side of the street. Chu had zero idea he was standing and clinging up beside the wall of the church. But he had to wait for the other dragons, and he didnt want to leave to far away from his captured friends.

Once a man approached him with a flyer he took it, opened it and hid his face behind it. ''H-how very interesting tell me more please.''
Well talking to someone will surely be less suspicious than being a creep around the corner. But the earth dragon in his compact form, still was extremely stiff and nervous. He was half jumping to any noise that come sudden was it child running and laughing, or someone just shouting a name. It was after a few more moments that his brain realized something. ''Dragon church?....I allways wondered if you do weddings for dragons like in human churches. '' His eyes sparked with interest, what was the best way to calm down for Chu think about love and with it, imagining Aster in those wedding attire he saw humans wore. So cute.
~~~~
Meanwhile the firefly made its way where the dragon couldnt, flying down the hallway, it waited in the source of the lights, for the best moment. The teen taking the attention on them was the moment.
The little bug, dimmed its light and fly along the side of the wall staying out of the other hunters view, it fly up until it didnt was in front of the grandfather Jeonabe nose. It was a dim light, that was as much as the grandmother dared to give. Just a little spark that she knows about their situation and will do something about it.
The firefly fly away attempting to reach the adult, but the distraction of hunters passed. The light melted away into the just a moment before they looked over. Mirazan sighed wondering if the dragons noticed it? Well Jeonabe did, she hoped he will be able to keep the other calm, with out too hasty decisions. Help is on the way.
Siabel was the first to leave the room, waiting impatiently at the two humans. She wasnt positive she could save anyone. Even less confidence she had in protecting the two humans with her. If she were just stronger...
She changed to her dragon form, for a change Momo didnt complain about flying.
She landed where the GGM instructed them.
''Lady Siabel, dont worry, I am positive the girl wouldnt send you off if she would have doubt in your ability.''
''Think, if not just one but two electric dragons failed to escape what can I with my wind manipulation do? You know the best I can barely create destructive winds... How I am suppose to fight?''
The wind dragon complained to her pet, even if she showed such a worry, she did worry about them. And not only that she really wanted to help... But wanting and being able are different things. Her pet took her seriously in her question.
'' You can seduce a hunter. Make them drop their guard and maybe we two can then surprise hit him from behind and in the nuts. ''
'' You read too many books.'' Was the only response from siabel but it did calm her down. She looked up at the skies and around waiting for this help that was promised her.
'' Tell me, You said you know the city Myrtle? Tell me how well you really know the place? And, if we ever going for the seduce plan do not even attempt it, you look way to boyish to be considered to seduce anything beside a computer.''
Myrtle
Myrtle nodded in response to the elder, giving a playful grin at he mention of level of fondness but only gave a hum in reply before following Siabel outside. When reaching their destination and listening to the conversation, she gave a soft laugh and smiled slyly at the black dragon, making a tsking noise and waving her right index finger in a 'tut tut' manor.
"Hey now, I know how to dress up and look the part. I would just rather do it to other people. Dressing up like that is so tiring. Mhmm if only Aster was here, he'd make quite he attractive woman with the right getup." she smirked almost evilly at the thought, as if we was planning on doing just that before waving it off with a smile. "But he's not much of a seducer. Such a shame.." she snickered.
"Quite well. I mean I've got detailed maps and explored the abandoned tunnels underground and all. Probably a good way to use to sneak inside the hunters underground base they have. Quite doubtful they actually know about them other than the ones they made. Course there's always the inside the base that may be a little tricky." she answered.
Aster
The Hunter mearly rolled his eyes at the two teens and shrugged his shoulders a bit. "Suit yourself, doesn't really matter either way. Though sadly since your teens, your magic won't be strong enough for project BCDE. Such shame, but your magic will be drained all the same." he mused before looking to see the grandfather be brought in and gave a annoyed sighed. "Finally, took you idiots long enough." he grumbled before looking up and called out to the black haired man of a compacted dragon.
"Draken, so can you cooperate with the two adults or not? It be nice to actually get some solid specimens instead of experiments that usually go haywire." The Hunter asked.
Draken glanced behind him before looking at the red haired boy and gave a simple grin as he glanced toward Jeonbae. "Not very likely, after all the process does require mutual affection. In which neither of these two have, especially little pretty boy here. You won't find him courting any sort. Might as well try another of your abominations. See if this one turns out stable, quite likely since this one is so mild." he answered with a soft grin, gingerly petting the top of Aster's head and kissed his forehead, who flinched at the touch before the grandfather moved out and closed the gate, rolling his shoulders boredly.
A firefly caught his eye, in which narrowed before a simple amused grin caught his lips as he walked off. "I'm done for the day, you pitiful humans enjoy your little catch while it lasts. Whenever the town is being burnt down, I shall be in the church enjoying a nice nap and my daily meal. But don't bother me unless the land is covered in flames." he yawned before walking over, giving a mild wave to the captured dragons as he passed before moving on.
The Hunter grumbled irritably as he watched the dragon go, annoyed that the damn creature seemed to have a nice foot in either side, but his head his own. "Bastard." he grumbled before tapping his chin as he examined the dragons, seeming to decide which one to take first.
Ikkan
Ikkan saw a light from inside her eyelids, opening wide to see a small firefly on her noise. Normally the bugs stayed away from her when she was in her giant form, so it was a bit odd, until the firefly spoke to her. At first it made no sense until she realized that is was one of GGMs fireflies, meaning that this wasn't so much asking, as telling her that she was needed for a mission. She saw the firefly, buzz away, before turning and jumping into the air, flying with swiftness towards the designation that GGM had set. Millions of thoughts filled her head as to why she was needed for a mission, very rarely was she called on urgent missions since so many were willing to jump to action. Not that she didn't want to, but if someone was willing there was no reason for her to jump up in haste. But this time seemed a whole lot different, for one it seemed that GGM was in need of her in particular. Not only that but the mission also seemed quickly put together, else she would have heard that there was missions going on.
Deep in thought she almost missed the meeting area, seeing Siabel waiting for her, but oddly enough two humans as well. She was aware that Siabel had companions but she wasn't thinking they would be humans of all things, or the fact that GGM didn't chew her out. She landed with a shaking, notifying the others that she was there, walking with haste she looked downward towards Siabel "Hello there, I was asked to accompany you three to the city, but whats going on? Great Grandmother doesn't specifically ask me for missions often unless the revolve around water, so this must be either pretty serious, or i'm about to have to diffuse a situation that you guys started..." She turned her head and looked into Siabel's eyes "You didn't eat someone did you?" she half joked, half wasn't. She was always worried about half the dragons here, she was sort of an oddity out of the others, both because of her having no wings, and the fact that she was a rather peaceful dragon. She a lot of the time would rather try and negotiate rather than fight her way through things, she found the outcomes much better than the outcomes of fighting.
It wasn't unusual for Ezekiel to see people on edge, so he didn't question it. The town did have some criminals, after all; his street sermons provided a worthwhile cover for them more often than not. It was a complex philosophy, his church, and he had just gotten a few words out before the man in front of him had a question. And for someone who thought that he had been asked everything, and had an answer for everyone, Ezekiel paused. Sure, people asked him questions as jokes sometimes, but the man seemed completely serious about it. Did he? Would that even be possible? Under the mask, he cracked a smile. Whether they were really serious or not, he enjoyed the question. "We never had such the privilege, but of course, we would. Who would I be to deny the gods such a union? In fact, I believe it would be an honor to do such a thing." After all, Ezekiel did have authority to wed humans. He couldn't see any reason why it couldn't apply to the exalted ones. He doubted such a thing could ever happen, though, his beloved gods above ever communicating with the unholy trash known as humanity. Humans were woefully inadequate to talk to them, in his opinion, let alone perform ceremonies for them. It really would be one of the highest honors to do so, something he could only imagine.
Winter gave a half snarl and tried to reach Aksaja through the bars of her cage. Her whitish hair was plastered to her neck and face with dried sweat and tears. She gave a whine if pain as her broken leg got jostled. She worried that it wouldn't set and heal properly. Her body trembled and she looked at the redhead with sorrow, guilt and a little bit of self loathing in her bright, ice blue eyes. "It's all my fault," She said softly. "If I hadn't been playing with my Everice this wouldn't have happened." Her head came to rest on the bars with a soft thunk. She stared at the ground and shivered. Odd as it seemed, she was colder without her ice powers. They were the reason why snowstorms felt like warm spring to her. She wrapped her arms about herself, thinking glum thoughts. "I'm probably going to die here. I deserve it anyways. It's my fault."
