HAH, He is only at the lip, so he would live, but ends up...crushing you guys? Ha! That'd be hilarious.

Nobody expected the tier 1 caveman to get a 4 person killing spree.

But on a serious note, our side has been ejected from the cave so only the other guy is in there right now. I highly doubt he'd approve of the cave in idea .

He created the wall inside the flames at the entrance of the cave. The flames had already entered somewhat and he made the wall inside them to conceal it.

My point is that erecting the wall would prevent any further flames from entering, making it obvious that the wall was there. Not to mention the fact that his counter-attack would hit the wall and get stopped, giving yet another indication that it was there, and he wouldn't even rush toward the wolfman in the first place, since the action preceding that was interrupted.

I just wanted to be clear on the positioning of the wall.

Edit: Regarding Ug Nug, Arthur hasn't even made it out of the cave to where he can see him yet, though he was apparently standing closer than I thought when he first showed up. I also didn't realize that your post about not interfering without an invitation was a request for one, but I'm fine with you joining if you want and the others have no objections.

Edit to the edit: A cave in would only slow the fight down, and I doubt that hitting the cave wall with a club would produce one on the scale required to have any significant effect on the fight, considering that it just withstood two hurricane force wind blasts.

No more flames would be going out to conceal the wall, but I'd imagine him charging forward would be done within...what, a second or two? I would think by the time the flames dissipated he'd already be well on the way to reaching the wall.

According to Drall's post, he threw up the wall as soon as the flames obscured the entrance, which would have been right before the retaliatory gust of wind. Arthur can't actually move when he's using the gusts, so his gust would hit the wall before he started moving.

Not to mention an air tight wall would choke out the flames.

Edit: Yes, the cave-in idea was the hopes of a fevered mind of a caveman, however the blasts could have weakened the cave. I feel that as fun and as surprising the idea of my caveman acheiving such a feat is, it is impractical and without general concensus, just a humorious thoufht.

All the evidence is in. The jury verdict?

*Evvie raises her hand

Me: "Yes?"

Evvie: "This just confusing. Get back to fight!"

On a serious note, Schradinger seems to be right.

The cave in would have to be massive in scale in order to actually kill Arthur, so anything a hit with the club could achieve would do little more than Drall's wall and just slow down the fight.

Actually, if you guys would be willing to allow the use of Arthur's dimensional shifting technology so he can get out of the cave and not delay the fight a bunch afterwards, a cave in caused by Ug's club could be a good way to let the fight progress sooner than it otherwise would. Right now, Arthur's just going to wait out the spike wall, which means that my next post is essentially going to be "Oh, there's a spike wall, I better not charge at it". With a cave-in and a bit of dimensional trickery, we could get the fight going again without wasting a whole turn of posts. And there would be the humor of everyone thinking that Ug just killed Arthur (though with the mood Adrian's in, that might get Ug killed too...).

Oh, and I promise that nobody will be back-stabbed by a super-convenient re-materialization attack... ;)

I'm gonna go ahead and place The Headsman in his proper position, should anyone wish to throw themselves into the way of death.

Abe's post in the boneyards is next.

And then Flint in the Saffron Fields.

This may take over a few hours, and might be posted in the afternoon tomorrow.

Flint would be up for a three way in the Saffron Fields, despite the over-bearing odds against him.

Cough, totally not an obvious joke, cough.

@Drall: Yay for teamwork! Though you might wanna mention how wide and high the wall is, that may be important for Schradinger's next move.

If i wanted in on this, with a new character, where would i post a cs for aproval?

Also, could i get a character from my dump judged? (Jynxs)
You see, i come from a sight with a short character limit per post, so detailed and advanced cs's werent exactly existant. Im missing the requirements you asked for reguarding hight, and weight. I just wanted to know before i dump 2-6 hours into the character i want to make for here.

You can post your CS here to be reviewed.
Less expansive CSs are fine, as long as the important information is there. We can't judge whether it is until we see it of course. LeeRoy is currently offline, but if you go ahead and post your cs in the thread i linked to i can give you an estimate of its viability right away. Don't worry, no one will judge you if it's insufficient.

Edit: Oh, i get now what you mean by dump. Can you post a link? I don't see it in your post history.
Edit2: Herp, it's in your signature. I'll have a quick look at it.

Okay, I had a look at it and there is indeed work to be done before he’s arena-ready. Things you should address include but are not necessarily limited to:
- There’s no physical strength or speed mentioned anywhere.
- “his saliva makes whoever he bites incapable of dying for short periods of time (max 8 minutes)” What? Mind explaining why that’s one of his powers and what purpose it serves? It seems counterproductive in a fight.
- I advise that you make him resistant but not immune to physical attacks. Some characters don’t have anything else. Sure, they can just choose not to fight you, but you wouldn’t want to limit your potential opponents too much do you?
- If his flesh is mud, what are his bones made of? Does he have any organs at all? If not, can he even die? There are few things that can damage mud to the point where it isn’t mud anymore.
- Terror gaze is very questionable. It’s pretty much an auto-hit unless the target somehow knows not to look into his eyes. If you change "may blind the caster" to "will blind the caster" and put a time limit on the hallucination as to when it wears off, it might be acceptable. Though you'll have to ask LeeRoy.
- Terror sphere B isn’t overpowered per se, but it makes it unviable for a group of weaker characters to gang up on you, which in my opinion is one of the funnest parts of the arena.
- Terror claw can damage someone’s soul? You’ll have to define what effect that actually has. Also, I understand that you made the heart and lungs immune to it to prevent easy kills, but what about the brain? Or the spine for that matter.
- Iron maiden needs more explanation. Is it an actual iron maiden? Can he cast it on his enemies? If yes, does it just materialize around them or does it have to chase them?
- For summoning magic, please check out the summoning rules in the first post, so you know the restrictions. You’ll also have to give an accurate description of each summon’s abilities. The basilisk can’t petrify people through eye-contact, that’d be way overpowered.
- Conjure weapon: just add a line saying that he can’t conjure a weapon into someone’s body.
- Terror beast transformation: does it have a casting time, energy cost or time limit? Otherwise there’s no reason not to use it, and it nullifies his only major weakness.
- Mass manipulation needs a limit on how big he can get.
- Non consistent form needs an estimate on how fast those things can grow.
- You’ll need an estimate on the explosive power generated by things he detonates. You may also wanna state he can’t detonate people, though I’m sure you weren’t planning to.
- Possibly the most important part: you mention explicitly that he has other abilities that aren’t stated. That’s kind of a problem, as you could just pull whatever is needed to counter a certain situation out of your ass, which is referred to as Batmanning. It’s not that we don’t trust you not to be unreasonable, but we’d greatly prefer if you write down all his abilities and limit yourself to only those stated. Of course, slight deviations of existing abilities are fine.

Phew, I think that wall of text sums up most of the problems. It should also be said, he’s really damn powerful. Depending on the specifics I asked for, he may end up being above tier 7, which is currently off limits, meaning you’ll have to make a weaker version of him. I don’t know for sure though, cause as I said a lot of his abilities are still too vague to tell.

I have thrown myself into the Northern Fields. I might get in on the fight with Flint, though with Flint's demeanor, I may not have much of a choice in the matter. Although...I do want me one of those feathers...
