30-300Kg as adults assuming you're talking about males. I doubt Allison or Abbie will want to target those 900lb monsters bucks with a 140lb dog (Yes, Rottweilers get that big). I also never mentioned what kind of game they'd be going after. Diesel might be able to take on a smaller doe, but honestly deer probably wouldn't ever been Allison's target animal. She'd focus more on things like Pheasants, Turkey, rabbits, maybe smaller wild pigs, and maybe even bow fishing depending on the time of the year and if she's willing to attempt. Stuff that she CAN carry back and eat that night. They save scavenging and natural food they come across for long term stuff.
Alone yes Abbie hunted small prey. From bluejays to turkeys, to pigs and fish, even pigeons and rodents like squirrels, opossums, raccoons, and rats. When you’re hungry you stop caring about
where your meat comes from. Which I wonder if small game can become slightly scarce because they aren’t the only ones who are hunting it, but then again human population has dwindled down enough and undead, unless the animal’s bleeding or dying, don’t attack them. I figured since it was more subjected to humans, the virus doesn’t have much reason to alter its host line yet if at all. Besides, it’s slightly simpler and allows a secure, realistic food source to a degree.
Though to be honest, Abbie’s use to hunting for a larger group of people other herself, and in addition she’s also from a haven twice, so she normally tends to get the bigger game while hunting with a group as she can preserve it easily and for longer time before she has to gain more. Not to mention it feeds everyone. Eden Haven, her original haven, was a rundown version of what Chico or Reno would’ve been. It depended solely on everyone working together and on low hours of sleep, especially Abs who showed a good talent of making things work against all odds, giving her very flexible sleep hours between the rare 6 to barely 4 which she fixed everything there. So anything above 6 is a dream for her to have. She never volunteered for being the handy woman, just assigned when she ended up fixing a few things around Eden. Due to its isolation, the undead never knew they were there even with trucks. It’s literally miles, and miles of open land in google maps and it is not even where the original Eden town was.
Since we’re going after smaller game, I might have Abbie nail a rabbit with her knife skills. Namely I’ve got creative and luck based thing in mind with that which could be rather nice conversation starting for everyone. Even possible if asked, Abbie could teach someone else how to accurately and properly throw a knife which might help having her tag along.
Tony is their survivalist, he can start a fire with a bottle of water (Yes you can do that). I have a feeling they'd get along best with Abbie way better in terms of things in common. Allison being an engineering major (fixes cars and stuff) and Tony having someone who really knows their shit in terms of survival (she's going to blow his mind with the hobo stove). Brick is pretty hesitant with everyone in terms of trust. I'm sure once he warms up to people everyone will be getting a look at some of his talents since I haven't gone into detail about what he does besides break bones for them (he does have other things up his sleeve, 2 mysterious 4 u).
I would imagine you could, it’s mostly using the sunlight and magnify it to focus on a key spot to heat up, but winter fire starting would be hell due to less light. At least, that is the only way I can think of. You can’t really pour it on and expect it to start, unless you’ve got some key items and ingredients to create a chemical reaction.
And I agree with finding things they have in common. Abbie, unexpectedly, is all over the board with them when it comes to talent and knowledge though she’s still iffy on foraging. Before Eden was slaughtered, Kurtis had only taught her a little and aimed on increasing it when he got back. Sadly didn’t happen so Abbie’s confidence in what is safe to eat in the woods, besides the obvious game, is very lacking sadly. Maybe in exchange for her showing how she made it (yes, she made it herself, she’s a hands on chick) and allowing him to use the hobo stove any time during their travel he could show her the proper way to forage? A mutual exchange which benefit them both. As for Allie, Abbie will likely enjoy talking shop about cars, etc. Though I will admit, I’m not a big car frantic so while Abbie will know what she’s talking about, I will not. Which means it might take me some time to research the stuff. XD As for Brick, I guess he’s going to be someone who will need some work.
If you like mysteries, I could consider restarting the Eden plotline all over again. Namely it never got off the ground due to some problems and Guildfall, I think, which could be fun. Including Abbie, Kurtis, and his crew. Though that means I would have to bring back Kurtis, Remmy, Cash, and Jose into the fold.
I plan to make the most intimidating member of the trio a great cook, or find the least intimidating thing possible that's actually useful in a zombie apocalypse, and make him be good at that.
Good, cause Abbie can’t cook anything besides simple and crude basics. Cooking meat and veggies is one thing, preparing a dish and making it taste good is very much another. Kathrine, her girlfriend, often enjoyed giving her grief over that while survivors often tried to avoid her being the week’s cook and shifted her to other tasks. As for Allie, Abbie was around when Winni was pregnant (Simon’s child btw) so if she displays any morning sickness then likely Abbie will notice this rather quickly and remember Winni’s own experience with it. So brace for a conformation really soon if Abbie notices Allie’s morning sickness. Though part of Abs would be very excited and worried.
I see the beginning of a long friendship between everyone, actually. I can only wonder how everyone will react when Allison announces she is pregnant.
That is, unless Aweena decides my characters no longer tickle his willy and he makes a volcano that spews magma zombies appear beneath one (or two, or all) of my characters. :P
However, I aim for Abbie to some point create a Haven of her own in a way. So Allie’s baby, later on, might be a key motivation to push Abbie into that plotline and hopefully slowly take up the mantle of leadership one day. Or rather, have it happen without anyone realizing it. Once they get attached to each other of course.
Namely at some point Abbie’s character role will end when she becomes a bit, bad ass survivor, an elite leader of her own Haven. Most people assume this is a natural thing but I can see her reaching it if given reason and even challenges along the way, weaving a lovely story of survival and conflict in different greys.

I doubt that. She's easily attached to everyone's characters. Once anyone one puts in a vote or other suggestions other then Salt Lake, then I will begin on that post.
@Aweena and Zombie:
Again, big question- Is either of the farmers (or your new one, Aweena) or Coltrane sticking with Abbie? Mainly it affects my intro post to whether I decided to do a small NPC group, or rather have her separated from who is with her. I'm thinking, Jazzy, if you don't mind me using those discovered fresh zombies as remains of Abbie's last group? It might be rather nice twist to discover there might be an owner to the supplies they had gathered and create some fun with that, mainly with the idea of finders/keepers. :P Just a thought. Not sure if I want to use it yet or not. Though a 3th or 4th member would be roaming around due to a nice little conflict to deal with outside the normal, random bandit or undead scenerio. Also, it would be a first in this rp for me.
