Now looking at models of the Imperial II class, which fits both the outward and underside profiles of the EP IV Star destroyer, we see that the Star destroyer around 6 hanger bays long, putting the length at 1050m. Now because we are guessing some measurements based on screen appearances. this number could go up to 1200m if the hanger is 200m long, or it could drop to 960m if the hanger is 160m long I personally feel 175 is a nice number for the hanger as it falls into the middle ground of both possibilities.

Pretty sure it was described as a Victory. Also several books are NuCanon. Darth Vader, Kenobi, Tarkin(Isn't released yet I think), a New Dawn(Think that is it's name) and a couple more are all still canon.

As are all the schematic books IIRC. But I suppose for stuff like this one can chose whether to follow the movie universe or the EU. Kinda like with Marvel media, you can go with the Movie Universe or one of the many others.

and the fact that the Galactica FTL style is instant. With adequate calculating you could jump past planetary shields, hell the Galactica style FTL makes combat jumps useful. While most forms of hyperspace it isn't, as you jump behind someone you are facing the wrong way or need to take a wide arch to face their backsides with BSG Ftl you can jump around in battle effectively. Though I'd say a Mercury Class would be better with some of the ships going around, purely for missile spam, bow cannons and an even greater Viper/Raptor compliment.

Sorry for the wait, been busy with IRL stuff. I'll be posting the rp and OOC thread this week, although I won't be as active as I planned so I'm getting Veritisu to help run the RP while I'm dealing with things.

I've looked at the ships and I have to say right now these are ridiculously OP for this frp. The Scimitar Warbird because of a) It's perfect cloak b) It's weapon of Mass Destruction (turns the crew to stone, so essentially a one shot kill) c) It can fire under cloak and leave no visible weapon fire and d) It can still be a tank if it loses it's cloak.

The Retribution is less OP, but still very worrisome as it can fight off a fuckton of ships with ease meaning if it became an issue with other players, I'd have to throw a bunch of ridiculously OP ships to even have a chance at evening the playing field (e.g. damage the shields so it only has a percentage of what it started with or taking out a bunch of your guns so you can't wipe fleets with ease).

Unfortunately I can't accept either ship because of how powerful they are. Even if I permitted all ships with no restrictions, you'd be the clear winner as you have no weaknesses. Plus the point of the frp is mainly to have fun while settling an age-old debate on a hopefully level playing field. So I'm asking that you either change the ship or change universe entirely.

Now on a side note, when this frp starts, I'm permitting respawns when you lose a ship BUT it has to be a different universe to the one you last used and anyone that tries to suicide just to get their ship back won't have access to the ship for a while and if it continues, they'll be booted from the frp.
