Mechs can be used for CQC but if they have a loadout like mine that is ineffective even with the rocket thrusters. Simply because you don't have the range necessary it would make much more sense to make him an ordinary infantryman. Also being 6'8 isn't a normal human quality in fact there is a disease that makes u that tall. Plus a muscle to body weight ratio and 256lbs at that height would make him skinny and frail not well built. Also I don't see it being easy to pilot a mech if your not only 6'8 but also strapped to the teeth with blades and a gun. The stealth thing seems allright until you consider your role as an HK would be utterly fucked if they had any type of electrical scanning cuz then your camo doesn't work for shit and your severly outgunned. Overall like I said im not the GM and I don't want to be a dick but the character seems kinda weird. Also this is for both Loki and you how do you propose to stop something like the plasma cutters? theyd melt right through your melee weapons. All in all even though I like the idea of CQC mechs they seem more like mobile artillery to me.

That sounds pretty cool, and I also editted my character and decided that I didn't really need the mech.

I think of it this way, I can't try and prepare for every contingency, not every enemy meahc will have plasma cutters. And I'm sorry if I ever came of as insulting.

Also yeah bro your character now sounds much more realistic. Our guys are the same height but your guy would be big as hell where as mine is more of an athletic average build. Also you mention mechanical engineers do you want my guy to be one of said engineers? To build some semblance of a friendship IC?

Background: Alexander was born in Montreal, Canada. His father was in the Middle East, serving his country; this left Alex alone to be raised by his mother. Being an only child, Alex found himself spoiled to death by his mother for most of his pre-military life. During his teenage years, Alexander took a liking to rugbee. He eventually became good enough at the sport to land himself a spot in a competitive team. The strength he gained during his years playing rugby, as well as the balanced diet his mother had put him on when he announced his interest in the game, gave Alexander the strength he'd need to survive in the military. After Alex's father returned from active duty and retired, Alex found himself convinced by his father's words to join up when he turned eighteen. Boot Camp wasn't as much of a breeze as Jaeger originally thought it would be. After discipline was drilled into Alexander's brain, he went off to Officer Training school and jumped up to the rank of second lieutenant after he gained his commission at the age of twenty four. Alexander spent the next two years of his military service guarding out of the way research stations and reserve campuses. A worthwhile note is that during these two years, Alexander was marked as having one of the highest mech simulator scores in recent national history. Another thing to note, is that Jaeger had yet to actual fight in a mech.

Fourteen is Alexander's call sign, given to him after he found himself continuously getting fourteenth place in just about everything. The number 14 is written on all of the joint platings spread across the mech.

The words "Kill all Russians" are painted on the Liberator's back in red white and blue.

The Liberator is Jaeger’s personal heavy bipedal mech platform. The mech itself stands at 5.45 meters tall. The Liberator is equipped with the 25mm caliber medium range assault ririfle As a secondary, the Liberator is equipped with wrist-mounted machine guns. Finally, the Liberator uses a shoulder mounted 105mm tank cannon. Being the command mech, the Liberator has been decked out with advanced communication and scanning systems. The mech also has a counter electronic warfare suite installed, although its anti-hacking abilities are nothing like that of a dedicated tech mech.

tungsten has the highest density of any metal on the planet. That would make the knife ridiculously heavy. That makes slashing attacks worthless but the energy would be a lot more when stabbing due to the extra weight.

Appearance: Jacob stands around 6 foot 7 inches tall and is very well built. With short neatly cut red hair and piercing brown eyes. He is either wearing his custom black ops armor or in standard fatigues. Depicted above is him outside of his Mech in combat armor.

Background: Growing up in United States a orphan he did not have many people to turn to so he instead turn to the military, in school his favorite topic was World War 2 having a love of General Patton and his idea of tank warfare. At age 17 he joined Marines. He attended school during his off duty hours and managed to become become a 2nd lieutenant by age 20 after graduating with a two year degree in engineering moving from front-line combatant to armored warfare core. From here he would be selected for training in special ops mechanized warfare specializing in heavy class Mechs. After a year of training and testing the first of a new breed of Mechs was created and the now 1st lieutenant Knight was selected to be it's pilot. After successful testing and trail runs Knight and the Mech went dark working in special operations and black ops during the past five years. However recently with more of this model of Mech being built he and the Mech were place in the NATO reserves.

Rank: Captain

Unit: 1st Breach Platoon aka "Hard knocks Platoon", this Platoon has three or four Mechs and a squad of six to ten infantry. The job of the breach platoon is to escort the main Torture class Mech (The Patton) towards the objective once they have reached the build the Mech then extends a enclosed high powered ramp through the target breaching it and delivering a sudden attack though barriers and buildings. Due to the immense size of the Patton it is rather slow due to having thick armor and heavy guns and light guns however it's Quadrupedal so it does take a lot to bring down. Many have referred to it as "A walking tank" however it is more along the lines of a APC. The other Mechs in the Platoon are normally light assault Mechs or medium class at minimum as the other Mechs are in charge of keeping faster attacker from destroying the Patton. After assaults are carried out the Mech can becomes a artillery battery using laser targeting to destroy enemy's from long range.

Role: Breacher/ personal carrier/ command vehicle / artillery.

Gear: A TAR-21 with custom synced targeting to HUD in his Blacks Ops issue hard drop suit with magnetic holsters. A colt 45. pistol chrome with pearl grip and a automated personal assistant for troop management (Basically a AI to help him manage the battle and pilot.)

Mech: The Breacher named "Patton", is modern United States Quadrupedal Weapon Platform slash troop carrier trading in one of it's heavy weapons for a breaching system and extra armor to deploy troops. Patton has four on board front mounted 50. caliber machine guns on swivels for Secondary weapons. It's primary weapons are twin 120 millimeter Forward mounted cannons than can be rotated for front facing fire or once locked down used as artillery with a auto reloading system allowing shells to be fired every 3.5 seconds. The price of all this greatness? Even with four legs this Mech will barely do 80 miles an hour with all weapons offline. Weapons online 60. Secondary Weapons online and running hot? 40. Secondary and primary weapons online 20. This titan of Mech is very weak at the rear as it has no weapon to protect it so that's why it needs other Mechs covering it. The Torture class of Mech normally has two pilots however due to the on board AI this model does not. Many of Knights former commanders have used it as a moving base, in fact the troop bay can also be staff room or triage for wounded soldiers. Because the Patton is so large it can be used for evacuation, however if it is not needed it can enter "Lock down" Meaning it's legs fold under and it becomes a stationary artillery platform.

Design of the Patton: The ideals of the great general live on through this death dealing delivery system. The chassis and cockpit have been painted world war 2 green, in white half worn off letters on the side of the hull it reads Patton, yet under that in crimson red it reads "Old blood and guts" in hand painted letters. At the front is allied star on the troop bay as worn and faded as the rest the of the decals. The legs of this war machine are as red as blood, Patton had told them to grease there tanks tread with the blood and guts of the enemy the paint symbolizing that motto.

Leo no offense but yours is very much a hunter killer type, for this team I need Mechs that can stand there ground and don't terribly outpace mine. Your Mech is the much the opposite of mine so no I don't think you would be a good fit here.
