The castle was huge and oddly misplaced in the small town. No one really knew where it came from, there was no historic value surrounding the castle. Many had assumed that an old man with money had just built it randomly, but they were far off. Viorica Rusalii has lived in this castle since she was a vampire fledgling. She cultivated it, tended it, as if it were her babe.

Viorica entangled a pale finger in her red hair and circled the newborns. They have yet to wake, yet to become their greatest state, yet to shed their humanity; but the moment their eyes opened, a whole new world will be present. The vampire could barely remember what it was like for her after being bitten by Dracula, but she could distantly recall feeling refreshed, as if cold water had ran down her skin on a hot, sticky day. She recalled her eyesight being sharper, clearer and vast. Her sense of smell had expanded, she could smell a beetle from miles away.

“When will they wake?” Viorica pouted, smoothing down her gold dress. She preferred to look extravagant upon meeting a new vampire.

Evelyn stood amongst the shadows, her icy blue eyes peering out at the young ones still sleeping. Her gaze flickered to Viorica, and her eyebrows knitted together ever so slightly. Though the two women shared some taste in literature, the two did not see eye to eye on how a lady should act. And even though the red haired vampire did don a beautiful dress, her reasoning behind the feminine attire, Evelyn knew, was attention, not modesty. But Evelyn was not one to make enemies over such petty things. Viorica was surely her ally despite their clashes.

Stepping closer to the newborns, Evelyn’s dress came into view. Modest and average in her opinion, as she only wore dresses as intricate as the other female’s when there was a party to attend or other some such festivity. Her hair was straightened and smoothed down her back, the lovely invention of hairspray helping her keep stray hairs from tickling her face so her large eyebrows and deep cheekbones stood out that much more.

”Any minute now,” she said calmly, peering at them almost in a mothering sort of way and not threatening at all. Though she was impatient to meet them too, she hardly showed it on her face in any way.

It was confused. It felt like something was wrong... or different? It couldn't tell. It felt like it had restarted, like a... a... uh... something. Something... square? No... rectangle... yes. Restarted like some kind of rectangle thing... energy... computer? Yes, that was it, a computer. It felt like it had restarted, like a computer. It wasn't it... it was... mail. No, male. Yes, that was it, it was a male. He, not it. He was.... something with a W... Walter? Will? Yes, that sounded right, or was it Willy? William? Maybe it was all the Will-'s.... yes, that's right. It was... sorta coming back... wait- where was he. He had eyes, and...

William's eyes opened abruptly, nothing changing except his breath. He looked at the ceiling of a very unfamiliar room, a room that looked to have stone bricks instead of plaster, wood, or metal. He stared at it for a moment, uncomprehending, then he sat up from the surface of a cot or something, taking in two beautiful, oddly-dangerously looking women. He looked back and forth between them for a moment, completely awash with the feeling oh my god holy shit where the hell am i what is this. He tried to recall what to do, and where he was before, but found that it was... dark, as if it were covered by a blanket or something. After a moment of frantic eyeing between the two women, he finally burst:

"Oh my god where the hell am I? Is this a prank? What the hell? Did you kidnap me? Want to ransom me? I don't even know my last name. I don't even know my address! What the hell! Holy christ, what is this place, some kind of museum?! Nobody lives in castles anymore!" As he spoke he jumped up, practically running in a circle, frantic, arms flailing out to the side, still clutching his book.

"Who the hell are you? What do you want with me?! Who's that other person! What the hell is this! Am I dreaming? NO- I wouldn't be so freaked out. Is this a prank? NO, no one I- I don't know if I know anyone, shit, what the crap, ooohhhh god, okay, okay, calm down William, yourself, check, the Guide, check, memories, no check, wherabouts, no check, sanity, no check, people around me known and familiar, no check-"

Then he stopped, full of movement and energy and then suddenly went still, arms still extended out to either side of him, frozen as if hit by a freeze gun or something. He very slowly turned back to the other two people, squinted at them. The left hand, clutching his book, dropped to his side, his other hand, his right, shot up, and pointed to who was now labeled as Vanity.

"You, Vanity, GoldenDress, whatever, A- who the hell are you? B- Why the crap am I here? C- Where's my laptop? D- When's lunch served?! Nevermind that! I don't want lunch right now, too weirded out. Jesus I'm hungry, why do I feel like I've got a monster clawing out my insides? Why the hell do you look evil or scary or something and you're just wearing a big unnecessarily expensive dress?! I need a chair!"

Then he plopped down on the floor, rear down, legs crossed, Guide now clutched in both hands, he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and abruptly fell back. His head hit the ground with a not-too-healthy sounding thud, and there wasn't a bit of movement for about half a minute. After that, he sat back up, took three deep breaths, and you could see him counting to 10 in doing so, and then he opened his eyes.

As he stared at Golden Dress, horror came over his eyes, and he said in a very defeated, miserable voice,

"I've no clue who I am and I've no clue where I am and I've no clue what to do and this isn't a dream."

Why do I feel so... hungry?... Wait, who am I?... W-why cant I seem to remember... anything?! Come on, think... THINK! Ah! My head.... I must have hit it on something really... hard? Hard, hard... yes, that is the word. Why is It so hard to recall such simple things?.... Did I get hit THAT hard?... Come on... Just.... Remember your name... .I-I think It started with an A?.... Angie?... No, no.... Ariel? No, most definitely not... Hmmm... Angg?.... No, closer.... An....Ang......Angel?.... Yes, yes! I think my name is Angel.... Thats a start.... It hurts too badly to try to force myself to remember, even my first name with one so simple as Angel... I think Ill just let them come back to me... they'd have to eventually... right?... Wait... Im not awake... and I feel... funny.... I feel, very hungry... How long have I been out? Come on Angel, wake up... wake up...

Angel Elizabeth Valgon Minamoto opened her eyes slowly, her vision slowly going from a blob of colors and shapes, to what was the clearest shed seen in her life. Angel was surprized. I know my vision wasnt so clear before.... I guess at least one good thing came from this- wait... where am I?! Angel thought as she sat up, groaning and holding her head. She shook her head and looked around, It seemed to be.. a castle? Am I still out?... Who has a castle in this day and age?! Angel asks herself. She then notices that shes not alone, others near by. Her attention goes to the two female vampires before her.

Angel eyes them both, seeming worried. "W-Who are you?... Did you kidnap me or something?.... I-I dont remember anything... What did you do?!" She asks, getting frightened and crawling backwards until her back was agenst the wall. She went into a slight panic. But who wouldnt? She was surrounded by people she did not know, She could remember nothing besides her name. She had woken up in a castle? A castle, in this day and age? It seemed odd. Angel first dismissed it as an amusment park tour for old timey castles, and the poeple were dressed up workers. But that thought quickly left her head.

Angel was trembling slightly, very worried that the females would kill her. Then her attention turned to William, who seemed even more terrified than herself. She was then quiet worried. Were the females murderers and they were theyre next victums? No, they dint dress like murderers, Angel would be able to easily out run them... Kidnappers? That was an option... but they seemed a bit too friendly to be kidnappers, Angel was not tired up and gaged or anything of the sort. She calmed down slightly, but was very confused.

Then her stomach growled. "...Why am I so hungry?" She wondered aloud. Her stomach growled again and she rubbed it gently. She stared at the females once more, not knowing a thing about what was going on.

"Just who are you? What do you want?..."

Ugh...I'm starving...What happened?...where am I...and...who am I?...I...I don't even remember my own name...What happened to me?!...why the he'll can't I remember anything?...should I open my eyes?...I hear voices...but they aren't familiar...would I even know if they were?...wake up, girl...c'mon...wake up...Anna?...Ahhhhh...Ahhnnn...Anrah! Wake up Anrah!!!

She woke with a groan and pushed her body up from the floor. Looking around to let her eyes adjust, Anrah heard the last part of a girl's question. She went nod along, wanting to know about the hunger, where she was, who she was with. The nod was cut short however as a pain rushed through her head faster than she could say 'ow'.

She looked around again, her vision clear and her hand holding her throbbing head. There were two women standing rather regally, staring down at them. Them...There were two others; both looked older than her, both looking genuinely scared. So at least she wasn't alone there.

The girl who had backed herself into a wall gained Anrah's attention. An instinct had Anrah moving in between the girl and the two women. 'So I guess I'm protective...that's nice to know.' she thought before tensing her muscles and staring the women down.

"I think we all deserve some answers, and hopefully those will fill up or blank spaces. But if you're kidnappers or murderers I can guarantee that any attacks will not end well. For any of us." Her glare was sharp and she had a feeling that to anyone but these two women, it would have been intimidating.

Anrah wouldn't admit it, nor would she show it now that she had someone to put before her needs-'Seriously why am I protecting someone I don't even know?'-but Anrah was terrified. There was an sir surrounding the women that made Anrah want to submit and bow to them, and she had a feeling that wasn't in her normal character.

Still blocking the women from the girl against the wall, Anrah spoke up again. "So how is this going to go down? Questions answered or bloody knuckles?"

Evelyn watched silently as the boy woke first. She raised an eyebrow, higher with each utterance that left his lips. He was… spirited. She’d give him that much. With quite a taste for vulgarity. She sighed, brushing off the skirt of her dress as he continued without shutting up for quite a while. When he finally asked Viorica, or apparently ‘Vanity’, a bunch of questions before sat and realized his memories of how he arrived were very vague, Evelyn thought perhaps she could enlighten him. However, the two other fledglings awoke one after the other. The first girl frightened, asking little. Well, at least the girl seemed a lady. The last however was quite brazen and ready for a fight, making Evelyn unsure whether to laugh or be offended. She decided to smirk, fangs showing, while shaking her head.

”Well, they are… interesting aren’t they?” she asked in a soft voice, yet one that could be heard from down the corridor if one so wished. She slightly ignored the young man, as he seemed to direct his questions towards the red haired vampire. Why, Evelyn wasn’t sure. But she wasn’t one to speak without being spoken to. Her gaze instead drifted to the two ladies.

”A fight among immortals would be rather dull I think,” she said to the protective one. ”Check your pulses; you are already dead. You can call us your murderers if you wish, though it would be a falsehood,” she spoke. After all, they’d returned to the castle to find these intruders. How they arrived or had been changed, Evelyn knew not.

”My name is Evelyn de Winter. And if you would act properly and stand and introduce yourselves, I think things could go more smoothly,” she said, glancing towards the erratic boy before just waiting for one of them do as she’d said.

Angel raised an eyebrow and calmed down slightly. She felt her pulse.. Only to find there was none. Angel went into a slight panic. When she saw her fangs her eyes went wide for a moment.

I'm dead?... I don't have a pulse... But I'm here? I'm awake? How?-... Wait... She has fangs? Immortal?... A vampire? Oh god! Wait... I don't have a pulse.. I'm awake... Am I?...

Angel cut herself off and slowly moved and touched her teeth, feeling teeth sharper than they should be. Fangs? Then it hit her. Angel took it rather well, she was calm now, oddly calm...

Angel put her hand to her side and nodded. She stepped out towards the female and bowed slightly. She did her best to smile. "My name is Angel... That's all I remember." She says and chuckles a bit. "My apologies I cannot tell more about myself." She says.

Angel had a bit of a headake, she held her head with one hand for a moment before moving it back to her side. "... Who are you?" Angel asked. She felt oddly a bit submissive to the female. She waited for an answer, trying to keep her smile and calmness.

William became very unsure the more that went on. Two more people in addition to him- both girls- being 'taken,' by whoever they were. He listened, once more, dejectedly as the first girl seemed to be more reserved, and the other be more defensive, and he thought about his reaction, and then the other peoples' reactions, and the... womens' reactions, and figured that they had done this before, in some way. Vanity wanted to be extravangent, he was sure; she would be the one to throw open the doors and raise her hands to the sky and wait for the applause. The other one... he didn't quite get. Why was she here? Just to be here?

With his thoughts taking away at his feelings, he cautiously stood up, trying to decide whether or not to actually check his pulse. After a moment, he put two of his fingers on the inside of his wrist, and took deep breaths. Figuring that he was doing it wrong, since he couldn't feel anything, he felt his other wrist. Again, after a few moments, nothing. He puts his fingers up to his jugular vein on his neck, again holding it there, and once more, nothing. Truly perturbed, he eyed who just introduced themself as Evelyn cautiously, signs of what just happened all gone, except for his left hand coming up to rub the back of his head.

After a few more moments just to be sure, he replied, [b]"William, Will, Willy, Wilson, anything with Will, I suppose. My memory isn't itself, and I cannot remember which one is correct. William, I think, is. But I'm not sure about anything else. And you two? If we are all dead, as you so say, then how are we moving? Breathing? Well, it feels like breathing, do we not actually need it? Shall I hold my breath and see if I need a breath? What are we? Zombies? Brain slaves? Vampires? Wraiths? No, I can feel pain. What is it?"[b]

Anrah stayed in her crouched position as the other two...victims introduced themselves. Her right fingers were firmly pressing into the pulse- or lack thereof- on her right rist. She didn't introduce herself.

They weren't the killers? But they were...vampires? She felt the fangs cutting into her lip as she chewed it in contemplation and anger. She was a vampire too? Did she and the other too intrude on their...nest? What would vampires call it?

Her hand slipped from her rust and she stood up, crossing her arms and glaring at De Winter through her lashes. She wants to keep what little information she has of herself, to herself.

"I'm Kaley. " she lied, never relieving her glare.

Viorica couldn't stop it, she began to laugh. It wasn't the light laugh, but a loud, head thrown back, boisterous laugh that sounded mocking and ominously evil to the ears. Viorica had worked on it for several years to make it sound perfect. It was just too funny to the woman; after all this extravagance, and it was actually they who needed to impress her. And so far she wasn't impressed...yet.

"Too many questions, so little time." Viorica said wistfully, though there was a taunt thrown in as well. "How about I explain this over dinner?"

Viorica led the trio from the room and down the hall. The hall was covered in creepy portraits of vampires across the world, some dead and some still living, and the biggest was of her own sire and the most famous vampire of all: Dracula. She entered a deep mahogany door and inside was a lavishly decorated table with covered dishes spread without. Viorica took a seat at the head of the table and crossed her legs. A bejeweled hand cam to rest under her chin as a delicate elbow perched on top of the tabletop.

"Forgive me for not introducing myself. I am Viorica." Her hands outreached in a flourish and the candles flickered on. A while ago, Viorica invested in motion-detected battery-charged candles. Best investment made yet, especially for such meetings.

Angel followed Viorica, looking at the paintings made her shiver slightly. Vampires sure have some funny taste in decorations... Guess I cant complain though, My home may have been simmilar... I dont think so, though. Angel thought as she walked. Angel looked at the table and sat down, crossing her legs as her stomach growled. "I am Angel..." Angel says with a smile. She dint feel comfortable but figured she should be nice in return.

Angels stomach growled and she groaned quietly. Her stomach felt like it was digesting itself. She again wondered how long she had been out, and when the last time she ate was... her body felt like shed not eaten in quite some time. Angel turned to Viorica. "T-thankyou... But... Ms, Viorica, Where are we supposed to go after this?... I dont recall anything about my past, and from the looks of it nor do the others... Where are we supposed to go? What are we supposed to do?" Angel asked, worried.

Evelyn watched in turn as the three felt for their nonexistent pulses, some sort of realization yet confusion following on their countenance. So, the quiet girl was named Angel. Hmm… could be fairly appropriate. They’d have to see. She did seem to behave better than the other two. At least so far. The girl’s smile and chuckle struck Evelyn as rather odd. Even under the circumstances where she had been turned in order to avoid death, the thought of being the walking dead never had caused her to have such a reaction. Interesting. The girl peaked her curiosity. ”It will be explained,” she said to the girl when asked who she was. After all, if there was anything they all had. It was time.

The boy spoke up next, a bit less perturbed than he had been upon originally waking it seemed. William. Ah. That was a fine name. She quite liked it in fact. He still had numerous questions though and Evelyn could almost feel her head begin to ache from the incessantness of them. How could he expect to know everything within 5 minutes of waking? Ah, they were just young, she told herself, sighing and placing a smile back on her lips, closed this time so her fangs were not visible. ”Hold your breath if you like. It might stop your questions for a bit,” she said quietly, a slyness to her eyes that said she was teasing him, though one might not see it and find her even more cold.

Her eyes then landed on the darker skinned girl, who crouched, seeming to be more cautious, until she finally stood and gave her name while glaring at her. Evelyn raised an eyebrow, not really understanding what the woman’s attitude was about, but then again, she was probably just frightened.

Ms. De Winter turned her eyes to Viorica who laughed heartily, making Evelyn’s smile a bit more genuine, though still not full. Evelyn let the older vampiress take the lead, quietly following the train of new ones while Viorica was at the head. Evelyn stood towards the end of the table as the new vampires filed in, quietly wondering if perhaps the two males in their coven would be arriving shortly while Viorica sat and began entertaining their guests.

Anrah was the last besides De Winter to follow Viorica. The feeling to submit was really beginning to bother her and she felt extremely on edge. She had felt De Winter's calculating gaze on her and tried to act as though it didn't bother her.

When they reached the new room, Anrah watched as Angel gave her questions to the woman and made sure to be ready to get between them in case things go south. She didn't sit. She stood with her back to a wall so that no one could sneak up on her. She couldn't help but wonder if she was this paranoid in life.

She had to admit that the two women's laughs alone set her on edge, but going about with no memories or ideas on how she became who she was just left her feeling all the more defenseless.

Her inner musings were brought to an abrupt halt as her stomach gave a particularly hard twist. She couldn't help the groan that escaped her lips as she clutched her stomach, doubling over and sliding down against the wall as the pain wouldn't cease. Her eyes were twisted shut but it seemed nothing could curb this feeling of her stomach tearing itself apart.

A ribbon of moonlight spilled through the front doors, illuminating the murky darkness of the castle as Christof pushed past it, a rivulet of still-warm blood running down his chin. He'd been out hunting again, as always. The vampire had always preferred catching his own prey. The thrill of the chase made him feel alive again, and staved off the coldness of death. It was only a temporary respite, but then again, what other choice did he have? With a groan, the heavy, mahogany double doors finally closed behind him, as Christof began making his way towards the dining hall. He wasn't hungry in the least, but he knew that by now, the fledglings would already be awake. Keeping that thought in mind, he wiped off the blood with the back of his hand. Newly-turned vampires were always so unpredictable, and he knew better than to put them all into a frenzy of bloodlust. Now, there wasn't any evidence of his earlier activities, but the smell of death stuck to his skin like a tattoo.

Christof's footsteps were heavy, and there was no doubt that they would hear him approaching. As he got closer to his destination, the sound of conversation got louder and louder, until it was ringing in his ears. Two of the voices were familiar, but he was unable to identify the rest. There was no doubt in his mind that they belonged to the fledglings. Still, he didn't have any idea what any of them were like. He himself didn't turn any of them, Christof always left that job to the rest. Spreading this curse was something he wanted no part in.

Soon, Christof found himself standing right outside the dining hall. Pushing the doors open, he stepped not-so quietly inside. He was greeted by quite a number of new faces, most of which were young. Well, at least they looked that way. One tended to lose count after a couple of centuries of undeath. Wordlessly, Christof made his way over to his place at the table. A quick glance was thrown over his shoulder at the newly-turned vampires, but other than that, there was no interaction between them. Turning his gaze toward Evelyn and Viorica, he nodded a greeting and sat near them.

William, whose attention hadn't ever yet been on his other two circumstance-companions and is now primarily on Evelyn, followed rather miserably with everyone else. Someone missed him, he hoped, and he knew he came from an important family- he felt small and inferior, and he knew, just knew, that he was used to feeling taller and superior to everyone else. These two, well, vampires were easily powerful enough to tear him apart, he was really quite sure. Most stories revolving around vampires usually had them with greater strength, speed and senses.

As he sat down at Vanity's table, silently taking in the scenery, the senses did suddenly hit him. His vision suddenly sharpened, where before they were starting to get to the point of needing glasses. He could smell... everything, and he couldn't block it out. He could hear items dropping, dresses swishing, everyone's breathing, and it hit him like a cannonball. He sat there for many a moment, reeling at the overload, before his brain started to catch up, and his chest started moving again, breathing where the shock had taken it away.

As his breathing returned, his head quickly developed an ache from the sudden sensory input, unused to processing so much at one time. As he did so, he heard one of the girls collapse to the ground, apparently clutching something, and someone else approaching. Dazed, William turned to take in a new man entering the room, probably another bloody vampire, and one of the girls clutching her stomach. He himself had some serious stomach ailments at the moment, but he, with effort, pushed it out of mind and repeated over and over to himself, your belly doesn't ache, your belly doesn't ache, your belly doesn't ache, oooohhhh christ it hurts! No! T-Rex making beds! T-Rex making beds! My belly has not thou pain!, which can go on in varying ways for quite some time.

After some time, he wrestled his pains under control, and met Evelyn's eyes.

In a voice that was pained and demanding at the same time, gritted teeth giving away his discomfort, William asked in a somewhat forceful way, "What's going on here, de Winters? Who are all of you really, and why does it feel as if we have our insides being put into a blender?"

Evelyn looked over as Kaley groaned and slid down a wall. ”Really…” Evelyn whispered, sighing softly and in distaste. If the girl had never been starving from a month of refusing to drink from a human, wearing a corset daily, and living with other vampires amongst the same time- she knew not pain.

Her owl like eyes took in Christof as he entered, nodding in return as a greeting. She continued to remain standing, as she thought it improper for a lady to have to pull out her own chair to sit. She was too proud to do so herself. So she stood stoically while continuing to watch the others with her lips sealed. Her attention did go towards William as he seemed to start having a fit or something. His eyes met hers and she could see hunger pains in them. Ah, to be a newborn once more. She did feel some pity for them. It was not an easy existence to endure. That of a vampiric nature.

”You may call me Evelyn. Or Miss de Winter,” she started sternly, eyebrows knitting together at being addressed by her last name only. ”We, all of us including you three, are vampires. That is why you are hungry. You need to eat. Unfortunately, newborns are notorious for needing an outstanding amount of nourishment,” she mumbled, lip twitching slightly. Her gaze momentarily drifted to Viorica before going back to William’s.

”This is our castle, for those descended from Dracula’s lineage. As for ‘what is going on here’… I’m not sure what answer you are expecting,” she said quietly, expression smoothed once more like the lines of her dress.

Viorica pressed her lips together until they formed a thin line. She certainly had picked poorly if their reactions were anything to go by. Leaning forward, she uncovered the dishes to show large bowls of blood of all types. The table was quite big, so she had to get up to reach the ones at the ends before returning to her seat.

“If you aren’t strong enough to reach the blood, then don’t bother continuing your existence in my castle.” Viorica snorted, bitter because of the lack of expression of her magnificent, in her opinion, entrance. “Now, dear Christof, how was your hunting trip? You appear quite healthy; I’m assuming you picked someone nice. Were they AB- or maybe B? Those happen to be my favorite.”

The redhead licked her lips and dipped the large spoon in the AB- bowl, bringing it to her cup and letting it dribble into the lavish golden cup. A sip was taken and Viorica relished in it. Blood always slid down her throat so easily, feeding her thirst and letting her skin be warm for a few seconds. AB- was her favorite simply because it was sweet like ice cream or cake. Viorica took another sip and licked her lips again.

“Mmm, so delicious. You, fledgling, William or whatever, you should really get up and try this. No one is going to bring it to you, and if you die it won’t be our problem. We can always turn someone else.”

"Oh, Evelyn sweetie, where is Mithias?"

Angel watched as Viorica uncovered all the dishes. Angels eyes widened slightly at the sight of blood. She'd never liked it. It had always ment someone had gotten hurt. Angel suddenly felt... very hungry. And the blood seemed quite delicious to her, she was confused at first but soon realised that was what they were to eat. She stared at the blood for a moment, her body wanting her to gulp it all down, however she remaied seated. Refusing too give in.

Angel looked away from the blood as she gripped the chair tightly, shaking slightly at her attempts to control herself. Blood lust slightly kicking in while she watched Viorica drink. Angel groaned as her stomach was screaming for her to drink the blood, and she was quite hungry. However Angel felt it was just... strange and a bit wrong. She wondered where the blood had come from, were people killed for this blood? Was it donated? Stolen from some donation place?

Angel turned to Viorica. "E-erm... Ms. Viorica... I dont mean to sound ungreatful but... Is this what has to be eaten?... Ive never ben a big fan of blood I dont think.... Although it does look quite good...." She said, adding the last part quietly as her attention turned twards the bowels on the table.

Anrah blanched as the metallic smell hit her nose, her stomach twisting even more; this time in anticipation for nourishment. 'This is horrible! Who in their right mind would crave blood!' she thought with a snarl. 'This would be better if I had lost my humanity along with my life, and then this wouldn't bother me...' She thought back to when she first arrived and was biting her lip. She herself hadn't drawn any blood...but she knew she needed it...and...it's already there so it's not like she could help whoever this blood came from...and besides...she has to survive for...

'Survive for Who?' She wondered. She tried thinking back but all that came to her was a dull throb that turned worse the more she tried to remember until it felt as though there were drums beating in her head. She looked up at the bowls of blood and the throb ebbed away slightly as she contemplated taking a cup and filling it with the crimson life. She stood slowly, using the wall for support until she had brought herself up to her full height. She pushed off of the wall and made her way passed De Winters. She stopped before reaching the table and wondered at why the woman hasn't taken a seat herself.

'Well, she's obviously old fashioned, probably is used to seats being pulled out for her.' Anrah scoffed internally at that. A woman stuck in old ways was sure to clash with her. 'But I don't want to leave my back open to her...it would be best to get her to sit...would she even sit if another woman brought the chair out for her? Is that even why she isn't sitting or am I over thinking things?...Ah, what the hell.' Anrah finished making her way to the table and pulled the open seat between Viorica and the guy she called Christof. With a swallow that seemed to take her pride with it, Anrah looked to De Winters.

"Miss...De Winters..." Her stomach twisted at being so close to the blood and not consuming any. "It seems we've been a bit rude and not opened to you your spot at the table...If you do not mind another woman pulling out your chair as opposed to the two already sitting men...would you like to take a seat?" Anrah was disgusted with herself but the faster De Winters sat, the faster she could sit and sate this craving.

Evelyn hesitated when asked where Mithias was. They had known each other for quite a while, considering their past history, but at the present she hadn’t seen him all day. ”Probably getting into trouble I suppose. I’m sure he’s handling himself, however,” she said lightly, not worried about him. He indeed liked being outside and she wouldn’t be surprised if he’d gotten lost in his own thoughts about something or other and wandered off and was now making his way back in due time. She wasn’t his caretaker either way and did not keep tabs on him.

Her attention was taken away from her thoughts and to the Kaley girl who stood and pulled out a chair. At her words and the strange way they left her lips, Evelyn raised a brow. The girl was… different. She couldn’t put her finger on it, but for some reason she did not care for her. It must be an attitude she had lingering under the surface. She was controlling it but it was there. It had come out when she’d threatened violence earlier.

”Thank you,” Evelyn said with a nod, lowering the eyebrow and moving noiselessly to the seat and sitting. She could have stayed standing, but it would have been rude to decline the seat. And rude would just not do in Evelyn’s book. For that same reason, she would let the others slake their lust for the thick red liquid before them before touching it herself unless gotten a drink poured for her. Once everyone else was done, then perhaps she'd get her own. She was thirsty, but not starved.
