I know that's how it works in the TV show cause my partner is obsessed with it, but in real life that's not how a call goes down. Please don't get me wrong, I like you and am very looking forward to roleplaying with you, it's just I am a fire fighter I'm not used to the whole TV drama thing...

The players listed in the CSs are current as everyone else either dropped out or disappeared.
So yeah, until we get more players, we can NPC them.

Dennis was originally named Daniel Unser, but changed his name to continue his grandfather's legacy. His grandfather - also named Dennis - lived during the Vietnam war, playing a very gradual part in it as one of the first African Americans to fight alongside the Anglo race. Despite his death in the war, Dennis' father taught his son much about his granddaddy. Dennis' father was a firefighter, old veteran in the United States Marine Corps. In attempt to continue the family legacy, Dennis joined the Air Force when he became old enough. He was put through vigorous training along with discipline. Later learning the ways of leadership and ending up one of the highest ranked officers in the force. After being honorably discharged, Dennis took the job as a firefighter, also climbing the ranks and soon becoming Chief. His father passed away before he did this, but knew in his heart that he'd of been proud of his accomplishment. Chief Unser has indeed experienced the loss of many comrades and brothers during his time in both the Force and the station. He sometimes struggles when their memories roam his mind, but he strives to continue, promising he'd never experience a loss again and does everything in his power to prevent it. The only way forward is to march on.

Sorry for not being here earlier help clarify things. With this type of RP it is easy to write too much for a call, speed things up and bark out orders but we need to AVOID doing this if we want everyone to enjoy this rp to it's fullest. It is ok if things aren't quite the same as real life and I stated this in the beginning of the OOC.

I was the first to do this unintentionally in my post so please follow my lead and show each other respect by following these simple rules:

1. Do not force orders and/or multiple orders on to people. A call may take awhile to play out so we can allow everyone to react and make choices. Vicier has a good point, especially for her character, so we need to be cognitive in our posts of how we are interacting with other players. It will take patience but the end result will be a nice dramatic rp played out!

2. Do not speed up incidents/calls. Work on rp detail, character development and story progression to allow a nice para post that moves the story without speeding up a call in chunks so fast that not everyone can participate at the same level. Allow others to add flare to the call (victims, extra accident on the first call or other drama) and make choices for their characters.

To sum: no forcing orders, or multiple orders, and slow down your participation of the call and details of the call. This allows everyone to create the drama and details together.

I'm sure we'll all get the hang of it. I have some more calls ready and hopefully a good twist for our characters once we all get to know each other.
