As much as I desperately want to get this moving again, I don't think I'm going to be able to today. I got hit by a migraine last night and it's still difficult to hold a coherent thought for more than a few seconds, and the computer screen isn't making things any better. I managed to write one (short) post earlier for another RP, but that pretty well finished me off. >_<

I'm going to be largely out of commission until next wednesday. I have my big term paper due next tuesday and so I have a lot of work to do on it. I am still here and interested though.

It's fine, all; take your time. No stress. :) Enjoy life and write your best when you can. I've learned that forced RP posts often result in a loss in post quality, GM/Player interaction and overall immersion. Remember: Quality > Quantity.

That said, you should strike a balance. One post a year, to draw an exaggerated illustration, would just plain keep the RP from fuctioning, continuing and developing. If some slight discipline or forcing has to occur, allow it, but again balance, don't make yourself overwrought.

Anyways, have a happy holiday this next week everyone! Feel better and write well. You've all already impressed me a lot, so I expect you all to pull through, individually and as a whole.

Sorry for being inactive, I recently got a new job and my schedule has been a bit messy. Ichtys, you mentioned a collab session on a wednesday, was it the 19/11 wednesday or 26/11? If i missed the session, could you give me a summary of points discussed please. Ill post as soon as possible

The collab was never completely decided on, so for all intents and purposes, we can see there's one on 26/11 (since, y'know, 19/11 has already passed). Thus, there's no summary to discuss just yet.

Also, thanks for letting me know about the new job situation! Hope it's all going well! Nice coworkers, good pay and all that.

Glory! The first collaboration of the RP is up. Speaking of which, I highly encourage collaborations among the players, with each other and myself. Fell free (in fact, feel motivated) to take part in your own collaborations. Remember: if you need anyone, I'm always here. And as I actually told Schradinger while we did this most recent collab, that it is a nice fantasy of mine to see lucrative and common collaboration. It is just such a good boon! Well the massive papers have been done. Celebrating thanksgiving but will be trying to work on posts this weekend.

Well, a new week has dawned and with it a friendly announcement! First, I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend (if they had one, that is), and I wish you all a great, upcoming holiday season, what with December beginning! :D

The next bit is a bit more stern.

Don't forget to post this week if you haven't posted yet in this posting round, else I'll have to mark you inactive in the RP. If you mention beforehand of any circumstances that may keep you from posting (and even writer's block counts as an excuse; I just need some notice), then let me know and you will not be considered inactive, although I will not accept any further excuses or exemptions for this current round of posting, meaning you'll only have the next week to post. If no notice is given and no post written (or you were unable to fulfill the posting requirement in your 'extension week', as just previously mentioned), then you'll be considered inactive, and your character will be promptly taken care of, as deemed necessary at the time (probably be made into an NPC like Giovanni).

If you become inactive in the RP, you may return at a later date, but know that you'll lose your spot in the RP, meaning if someone else comes along, they'll take your role. Your character will also be at the whims of the RP, no longer at the control of the inactive player, so I can't guarantee whether you'll be able to return to your character or if a new one will have to be made upon returning.

And as always, be encouraged to voice anything, whether its a discussion, question, concern, proposal, request for a collab, etc.

Same basic spiel I have given all my rps over the last few days. I planned to post over thanksgiving, some family stuff came up that made it difficult and now I am back at school. Posts are coming, I just am not sure when exactly. :(
