Name: Ran A. Harrow

Supernatural: A Siren. A creature thought to only of Greek mythology. Ran can enchant, unwilling and involuntarily, whoever or whatever is around her by simply speaking. She doesn't exactly know how to turn it on or off. She only knows that it's happening because people suddenly begin to gather around her with a dazed look on their face. She has minor water abilities only when she is in the water itself. When completely submersed in water, her legs transform into a long tail with a fin, and can breathe under water. Although she enjoys her gift and does enjoy swimming, she is embarrassed for others to see it and will shy away from any water activities with her friends or classmates.
Personality: Ran is a kind and gentle girl with a soft voice. She's in no way a follower, but does not always step up to lead. She would rather do her own thing and not be bothered by anyone. A mix between an introvert and an extrovert, she likes to have friends but doesn't mind spending her time being alone with her thoughts. She can be a little impatient at times but hardly ever gets mad. Ran is also a very wise person, for her age.
Bio: Born in a small town in England, near an ocean that crashed into the near by cliffs, Ran was the first daughter to a poor family. She grew up being taught whatever her mother could teach her, and she'd go to school whenever her father didn't need her help, or her brothers, out in the farm. In her free time, when she wasn't learning or farming, she could always be found by the ocean or by the near by lake. Sneaking out even at night.
It was at the age of nine when she found out what exactly she could do. Her older brother, Liam, had taken her with him to get water at the lake. Being kids, they played while they were running their errand. Although Ran had always loved the water, she had never gone in it. She didn't know she how to swim. They had gotten too close to the deck's edge and Liam gave Ran a shove to scare her. Ran fell straight in to the deep end, without a second to even think about what had happened.
She was lucky to grow up in such a loving home, with a family that didn't judge. But although they accepted Ran for who she was, they still vowed to keep it a secret. Not everyone would be as accepting as they were. Having accepted that, Ran continued her education and eventually was sent to her aunt's in London, where she would get a better education along with Liam. That's where they received news of Northwood Academy and applied for a transfer there.
