Name: Dalton Attwater
Gender: Male
Age: 37
Birthday: 21/08/1967
Personality: Dalton would be considered a good soldier: tough, fit, and good at following orders. He isn't cold or evil, but as a Magus and former Enforcer, he does not dawdle when it comes to killing.
Appearance: He just has brown hair, brown eyes and normal, fairly pale skin. He's not a blueberry, as fun as that might be.
Biography and Family History: The Attwater family is a small but very old family, known for producing Magi with dual Affinities. Their family magic crest was stripped from them over a century ago due to that time's Head of the family crossing the Mage's Association. The heir was allowed to continue the family from his own natural magic circuits, however. Since the family's fall, each generation has tried to take the family in a different path in order to once again make the family distinguished. All in all, the family has existed for around 30 generations, or 620 years.
When Dalton's father passed enough of his crest on, he chose the path of obeying the Mage's Association as closely as possible, since it was straying from their rules that cost the family its history and its power. He was taken in my an unassuming master who taught him how to best utilize his elemental affinities, and it was when he was presented with his Azoth sword that Dalton became obsessed with weapons. He spent much of the free time he had, which others believed he should have spent studying magic, on learning how to fight with a sword.
When he was 25, Dalton became an official Enforcer for the Mage's Association, on the basis that his extremely unorthodox fighting style would be of great use in taking down rogue magi. He didn't receive much work, and never actually enforced a Sealing Designation, but he was sent to eliminate the threat of several magi whose actions jeopardized the secret of magecraft.
His time as an Enforcer came to an end when he killed a Holy Church Executor who was attempting to kill a Magus responsible for murdering several police officers in a highly public spectacle. Dalton and the Executor came to blows because Dalton intended to silently and non-lethally bring the Magus back to the Association for trial, whereas the Executor's goal was to simply kill the Magus. Dalton succeeded in bringing the Magus back to the Association, along with the Executor's corpse. He narrowly avoided having the Attwater Family Crest taken again, was dismissed as an Enforcer, and put on probationary status.
Dalton is married, with a child of four. Like a typical Magus, he sees his child as an heir more than somebody to love and cherish. However, this doesn't mean he doesn't care for his son: he simply thinks raising a good magus is the ultimate goal of his fatherhood. His wife is a Magus of equal stature whom he met at Clock Tower, and both plan to pass their Family Crests onto their child to create an extremely powerful Magus. Dalton has already passed on a small amount of his Magic Crest to his son, and his magic crest contains a number of his magic circuits.
When the Grail War started approaching, Dalton was asked by his former superiors to ensure that the secret of magecraft was kept in Fuyuki City. As a reward for the success of his mission, whether or not he won the Grail War, he was promised the Attwater's old Magic Crest upon his return. Should he fail to return, the Crest would simply be retained by the Association, with consideration of passing the crest on to his son based upon whether the War goes FUBAR and ends like the last one did.
