Pluto"Something like that?", Pluto thought to himself in a somewhat disappointed manner. Surely the tall orcish looking faunus had more to say than simply, something like that. Then again maybe he did not. And even if he did, he had no obligation to disclosing how he was feeling. And well...Pluto isnt exactly the most talkative type himself, but when he does speak, it is always heartfelt and passionate. So when the faunus actually continued, with quite a lot to say, way more than Pluto had expected, he smiled softly in genuine concern and gleefulness. His countenance lit up subtly and his feminine pretty eyes glossed as they followed the faunus' gaze over the rail and to the ground below.
Pluto stepped closer and lightly leaned himself against the railing to the left of the faunus. Cutely grasping his fragile hands behind his back, he warmly smiled, affectionately so, listening intently to what the faunus sincerely disclosed to him. As the faunus discussed the opening exam and his worry of his team, Pluto pondered over his own incompetence and sighed somewhat heavily. He was not on a beacon team and instead, was a teacher's assistant. Somewhat lacking in combat skill compared to many of the other students his age, he was offered the teacher's assistant job as a placeholder until he was strong enough to make an official team. This was a heavy hit to his confidence for sure.
Pluto chuckled lightly when the Faunus awkwardly paused and finally introduced himself as Gren.
"Gren", what a subtlety simple, but nice name, Pluto genuinely thought to himself. Pluto smiled at him warmly and briefly looked over his shoulder out at the scenery before turning back to face him.
"Oh, no no no, forgiveness isn't necessary. I genuinely enjoyed listening to you.", he said in a soft and low and almost dainty tone. He paused awkwardly, brushing some of his wavy black hair out of face that the wind seemed to want to relentlessly retaliate against his efforts. His hands were still clasped behind his back as he continued...
"And ugh...my name is Pluto. I'm ummm...I'm a teacher's assistant here and also faunus believe it or not.", he said gently, taking a brief moment to delicately lift up and pull back his garments to reveal the fish scales on his lower legs and forearms. Oh and the fins on his ankles. He smiled awkwardly before covering them back up.
"So... anyways... ummm....", he began awkwardly...
"I'm the son of Madame Schön. She was a teacher here long before I was even old enough to come to this school. But...she isn't ummm...she isn't alive anymore...", he finished off with a sorrowful tone. His eyes began to water, but he quickly wiped them in an attempt to maintain his composure. It hadn't been long since his mother died and the harsh reality still hadn't completely set in yet.
"Anyways...sorry about that Gren. Just had a moment. It's nice to meet you.", he said with a semi smile, the lingering thought of his mother still resonating in his mind. He shook his head and tried to focus.
"But...I'm really sorry to hear about your teammates Gren. I usually don't do this, Well..actually... I've kinda been told not to do it. Its kind of the main reason why I'm not on a team fighting out in the field. But...I think I might be able to help your teammates...well...at least one of them. Perhaps...we can go get something to eat and talk about it.", he said to Gren in a sincere and pleasant tone.
"No joke...I'm dying of hunger. My workload for these teachers is completely insane", he said in a teasing manner, his countenance beautiful and radiantly affectionate.
