"A Sun? Don't you mean a star, called the Sun?" Takeshi correcting Mira, demonstrating he too had knowledge.
"Although I don't like it, I don't hate it either, reading. Gathering knowledge is something that helps me. Theoretically, my mutation could imitate any other mutation, but I doubt I could get such mastery of it. Practically the learning curve is too steep. I gather knowledge to help me get a better understanding to use my mutation." He explained himself.
"Alright" Takeshi replied to Mira, as she went to get her coat.

Takeshi could semi-regulate his body temperature with his mutation, by vibrating the atoms in his body, demonstrating heat and warming himself for example. However, he had only done this twice, once he had actually burned part of himself inside. It was a delicate process since his mutation was not a direct mutation to temperature. Imitating other mutations like so could lead to variable effects. He has learned to just live in the cold without trying to regulate hi own body temperature. The cold did not bother him as much as he was when he was a kid.

"Why?" he turned to Mira as she asked about why he was so nice to her. "I'm just a happy-go-lucky kid, I try to get along with everyone. Also, you looked kind of sad and lonely when I first saw you, I thought you would need a friend." Takeshi bluntly said to her. However, the hue on his face was slightly different, but it was hard to tell. Only someone who was either reading his mind, sensing his senses or with extremely careful observation would notice it. I don't think I am ready to tell her that I have been extra nice to her and that I have an .... interest in her he thought to himself.

"Anyway ... let's head to the top floor" Takeshi told her, exiting the balcony on his side, so he could get his tanto and lock his door. He sighed to himself. "Looks like I am still just a kid, who can't just say things directly" he softly said to himself. Amongst the Retributes who came, he saw that he was probably one of the younger ones who came. Grabbing his tanto, he had it strapped to his waist, and exited his room, locking the door. From there, he waited for Mira.

Waking up to a notification from her bracelet, Sylvia rolled out of bed, clutching her forehead as she did so. Grumbling, she checked to see what had so rudely awoken her. A message from Fio'Rana herself. Not bad. Sylvia got up, wobbling for a moment until she placed a hand on the wall. She wandered aimlessly for a moment before her head cleared, and she shakily dragged herself into the kitchen, reaching for a french press and making a cup of coffee. As soon as she was finished, she headed into the bathroom, grabbing a pain reliever from the cabinet before taking it. Walking back into the living area, she noted that Gavin was still passed out on the couch. Taking a pen off of the nearby holodesk, she wrote onto his hand,

Top floor. Fio'Rana. Get there as soon as you can.
You better not have done anything stupid while I was out last night.
I will mess you up.
Seriously. I will stab you.
In the eyes.

xoxo, Sylvia

Putting on her jacket, Sylvia headed out into the hallway towards the stairs, approaching the top floor of the complex. After heading up one flight, she noted Takeshi outside of his door. With a halfhearted wave, she continued up, cradling her head as she slowly ascended. Hangovers suck.

Tollank felt the cool linoleum against his face, consciousness returning to him slowly. Then it all came flooding back, the room, the fall, the screams, his broken body. He opened his eyes, preparing to let out a scream to survey his body and scan the room. However as soon as he opened his eyes he felt a sharp pain in them. Soon they adjusted and he could.....see. Tollank sat up, completely dumbfounded. The room was huge, with doors lining the walls. All of this he knew, but these must be...colors. He saw his blood around him, and leading out of a few doors, including Leon's. He saw the trail lead from Leon's lead up to him, and then head towards an exit. Oh my god, he did it. He gave me eyes, Tollank thought to himself. He stood up and stretched out his legs, Leon must have healed those too. He would have to find his friend and thank him. There were trails of blood leading out of many of the doors, and a few of the doors were slightly ajar, showing that the person inside had completed their test. Tollank went around the room, seeing which doors still hadn't opened, until he saw one door in particular. Aeria White.

"Oh no. Oh no. Oh no." Tollank couldn't believe this, he wouldn't believe it. "Come on Aeria, open the door! Come on!" He started banging on the door, the dull metallic clunking echoing through the room. If he could focus he hear it resonating in the room on the other side. Tollank closed his eyes and focused, soon he could see the room on the other side with his mutation. He saw a platform, and to the other side of it was a great chasm. Laying on the platform was...Aeria. She was still breathing, barely. Tollank had to get in there to help her. But there was no handle, no hand scanner, way way to open the door from this side. Then Tollank remembered his new found powers, and took a few steps back from the door. He took a deep breath, and screamed. The force of this sound hit the door, and bounced around the room. After focusing the sound the door began to make a metallic creaking noise, like it was gradually losing strength. Suddenly the door bent back, opening as if it were on hinges. Tollank ran into the room, and scooped Aeria in his arms. "Aeria! Aeria! You stay with me! Come on, Leon needs you! I need you! You can't die! You have to see Earth with us!" Tollank saw Leon's trail of blood heading out the door. Leon. That was it he could help her. Following the blood trail, Tollank carried Aeria out the exit, and up to the dorm floor. After a bit of searching he found Leon's room, and began to kick the door. "Leon! Its Tollank, and I have Aeria. She is hurt real bad Leon, You gotta help her! Open up man! OPEN UP!" Tollank put extra force behind the last "open up" he shout echoing in the vast chamber. Leon had to help her. Help her like he helped Tollank.

Thunk, thunk, thunk. "Eon- ish tohlnik" the voice registered through Leon's ears with a groggy, dull sound. He was barely conscious, the bloodloss and trauma leaving his body in a rather shit state when a cacophony of sounds was roaring just behind him in his doorway. The words were still coming from just beyond his door, getting louder and louder with the constant slamming against his door like a bass drum. Leon tried to lift himself, dropping flat out after rising a few inches, a sharp pain shooting through his head and the metallic eyepatch smacked the tiled floor, digging deeper into his skin. That's right, Leon remembered, leaning on one arm as he started to rise once again, feeling the right side of his face with his other hand, Yeah, that's right.

"What is it..." Leon grumbled, finally getting his footing with the assistance of the wall, his head resting against the cold grey painted wall, too heavy for his neck it felt like. "I'm coming," He said, not sure if he actually said the words or just thought them, as he stepped closer to the door which seemed miles away. He reached out desperately, slapping the release for the door with his hand, slamming the button an indenting the printed word release into the back of his hand. He hadn't realised how close the button actually was. He hadn't realised how fucked his depth perception was either. When those doors opened though, his lost sight didn't matter. The scene before him was clearer than day. If he had both eyes, they'd be wide open in shock, in terror. "Bring her in, for fuck's sake!" Leon barked, grabbing Tollnak by the collar and giving him a harsh yank in as he slammed the release again, the door hissing shut behind him. "Put her on the bed." Leon said sharply, turning slowly to take the scene in as he attempted to will his legs to walk.

Each step took an eternity. An eternity that Aeria did not have to lose. Leon dropped onto his bed heavily, the taste of copper still lingering in his mouth, beckoning him to lose focus. Leon's mutation combed through her, figuring out how extensive her injuries were, most of them being easily treatable. The only catch being that she was dangerously low on blood to the point that she needed an immediate transfusion. Leon's mutation jumped to Toll, reminding him of Tollnak's blood type which wouldn't be suitable for transplant. Leon was fittingly an O-, his mutation probably having a not so subtle hand in that. "One moment," Leon said, lifting himself up from the bed, walking towards his bathroom. There was a mirror, staring back at him, reflecting his new image back to him, mocking him. He wouldn't miss it. Leon took a sharp step, winding his right arm before throwing it into the mirror, cracking it and causing shards to drop down into the sink below, his fingers bent horribly, broken and twisted. Those were easy fixes, his bones quickly setting and repairing themselves in the short time it took him to reach down into the sink and grab a shard of the mirror.

Leon returned to the bed, sitting down, his face a blank slate and placed the shard to his wrist, splitting it open vertically. Remember kids, always go down the river, never across Leon thought grimly, wincing as the flesh tore open and blood began to spill from his wrist like a cracked faucet. He laid his wrist down onto Aeria's largest gash, his mutation guiding the blood into hers as wounds began to shut themselves slowly across her body. His skin was now a sickly white, a cold sweat breaking out across his skin, his hair matted with blood, damp from perspiration, his eye bloodshot. His breaths were shallow and careful, heavier breaths causing him to spill some of the precious nectar of life all of them had lost a good deal of today. "Toll," Leon said softly, his eye unfocused and glossed over, "Watch over her and make sure she's okay. If you waste a single second checking on me, I'll take back your sight. Even if I have to rip your eyes from their sockets." Leon looked down at his wrist, the coursing of blood slowing greatly as the wound began to heal itself much against his will. He could feel his consciousness slipping, the amount of blood he gave up well beyond what his body could afford to lose. The only reason he had still been conscious was his mutation he had guessed.

In his last moment of consciousness he saw his two closest friends, both battered and bruised. He saw his own body, bloodied and ravaged, falling from the bed. The little light he could still see was doused as he felt the cold linoleum floor meet his head in an unwelcome embrace. Leon wasn't particularly upset by this though. In his eye, he had deserved some rest for a long, long time.

Aeria was slowly regaining her consciousness. She felt the soft mattress against her back, and it felt cool to the touch due to the air-conditioned room. She shifted slightly, and the pillow that she lay on felt soft and gentle against her throbbing head. She lay there in silence for a moment, appreciating the comfort that it gave her. Then she wondered, How did I get here.. Slowly, her eyes fluttered open, but she closed them immediately as the harsh light invaded her eyes. It caused her head to pound, and she placed her right hand over her eyes, putting a little pressure. Little by little, she made an effort to open her eyes again. She blinked from time to time to make herself adjust to the light. She still felt light headed, and her vision was a blur.

Slowly, her eyes scanned the room. She saw Tollank for a moment, before she closed her eyes back shut. "Tol..lank..?" Pain spiked through her head, and she winced in pain. Her memories were a blur, and she tried to trace back to the series of events that had happened, and also how she ended up here. Memories came flooding back in. The chasm, the winds.. her impending death. She was sure that she was at death's door. So how did she end up here? The sudden realization that she didn't see Leon when she opened her eyes brought a shock to her system, causing her eyes to open immediately. She immediately sat up, and she had to close her eyes again when she felt the sensation of spinning. Her head started to throb relentlessly, and she pressed her finger lightly against her temple.

Her heart rate increased, as the sudden fear crept inside her head. Opening her eyes again, she looked around the room. Her gaze passed Tollank, but she didn't notice his new found sight. Her breathing hitched when her gaze landed on the floor. Laying there, was an unconscious Leon. He was drenched in dried blood, and all thoughts flew out of her head as she stared at him, completely dumbfounded. Aeria's hands started to tremble lightly at the sight, and her legs felt so weak; They didn't want to move. She spaced out for a moment, completely taken in by surprise. By the time that her eyes focused back on Leon, her vision was already blurred by the tears that welled up in her eyes. She didn't realize this until one tear escaped, rolling down her cheek.

Aeria wanted to go to him, but she couldn't move. She tried, but it was futile. She was completely engulfed in fear, and she was too afraid to move. What if he was dead? She wouldn't be able to handle that. She sat there in denial, as she mentally declared that it was untrue. Aeria finally found the courage to go to him. Her feet touched the cold floor, and she shuddered slightly as the goosebumps ran through her body. She slowly got down on her knees before him, and she placed her hand lightly on his. "Leon.." She called out to him softly. She didn't check for his pulse, his breathing, or his heartbeat. He was definitely alive, she told herself.

Her gaze scanned his face, and she could see the new visible scars on his cheeks. Slowly, her gaze landed on the piece of metal that was covering his eye. It took her a moment to realize that his eye was gone. It explained the massive amount of dried blood in that area. She bit her lower lip as it quivered, and she blinked swiftly to stop the tears. She moved her hand toward his arm, shaking it lightly. "Damn it, Leon.. Wake up." Her voice trembled involuntarily. "..It's not funny." She added, as the tears ran down her face. She hated herself for not being able to do anything. Her vision was a blur as the tears continued to fall down from her eyes. But nothing. There was no answer.

Aeria gently placed both her arms on his chest. She leaned her head against them as she buried her face against his chest, feeling utterly hopeless at the moment. Tears continued to run down, dripping down her arm, and soaking Leon's shirt. She could feel her lungs burning, and her throat started to hurt at the weird sensation, like there was a lump inside that blocked the air from entering. It's my fault, isn't it.. She repeated inside her head. It's my fault.. It's definitely mine. The thought of it brought more tears to her eyes, and she struggled to breath properly. Her head ached even more, and she just lay there as the tears rolled down from her eyes. There was only silence, and she could feel herself growing more tired by the second. "It's my fault.." She said quietly; It barely came out as a whisper. Her gasping came to a stop, and her breathing slowly calmed down. Her eyes felt heavy, and she closed them slowly as she felt herself drifting into a light sleep.

She dreamed of Earth. The vast mountains and green field, The blue waters that stretched on and on, and the sand that lay by the beach. And then she saw her brother. He was smiling softly at her as he walked over to where she was standing. When she turned around, there was Leon and Tollank as they chattered idly by the beach. For once, she was happy. She had a nagging feeling that all of it wasn't true; That she was just dreaming. In her head, she prayed that it would just continue on this way. She didn't want to wake up, and go back to the harsh reality that was awaiting her. She wanted to stay.

After some waiting, Alan saw Tollank wake up. It was strange though, he seemed to move as though he had sight, even though Alan could've sworn he was blind. Whatever. Tollank walked over to a door and began to bang against it. Alan was confused, until he got a whiff of what lay behind the door: vanilla. So Tollank wanted revenge on the psycho trying to kill them too, huh? Before he could go over to help, Tollank screamed, a loud noise reverberating around the room, forcing Alan to cover his ears. He watched in silence as Tollank grabbed Aeria and carried her outside. Tollank appeared to be saying something, but Alan couldn't hear it through his hands covering his ears.

Following Tollank behind from a decent distance, Alan eventually found his way to a dorm with the name "Leon Osiris Roth" on the door. Stepping in, he found an unconscious dome boy, Tollwank, and what speared to be an also unconscious or sleeping vanilla demon. So Tollank carried her here so he could get rid of her in a more private situation. She must have then woken up, attacked dome boy, and knocked him out, but then Tollank managed to subdue her. Walking over, Alan picked up a nearby pillow.

"Good job Tollank. I knew we couldn't trust her, but at least she didn't manage to kill any of us. Now I suggest we finish of the job with this pillow and smother her while she's unable to defend herself, then we won't have to worry anymore." Alan said, holding up the pillow.

Marx said "Toll," Leon said softly, his eye unfocused and glossed over, "Watch over her and make sure she's okay. If you waste a single second checking on me, I'll take back your sight. He could feel his consciousness slipping, the amount of blood he gave up well beyond what his body could afford to lose. The only reason he had still been conscious was his mutation he had guessed.

Tollank looked at his friend, the piece of metal jutting from his eyes. Without warning tears began pouring down his face. "I.....I.....I promise. But goddammit, you have to make it through this. You have to swear you will pull through this. I would give you my eyes back it that would help you in the slightest. You pull though this thing." Tollank watched Leon cut his arm and transfuse his blood into Aeria. Flowing into her, life going from one body to another. For a few moments all was silent, except the small pats of Tollank's tears smacking against the linoleum. Soon however Aeria began to stir, much to the relief of Tollank. She sat up and said his name, which only caused him to look down and cry more. She noticed Leon, and soon she broke down like he did. After a few minutes of sorrow, she slipping into sleep. She had a big day, and deserved rest. He wanted desperately to help Leon, but he had to keep his promise, all of this thought was interrupting by someone bursting through the door.

Brasslazer said Walking over, Alan picked up a nearby pillow. "Good job Tollank. I knew we couldn't trust her, but at least she didn't manage to kill any of us. Now I suggest we finish of the job with this pillow and smother her while she's unable to defend herself, then we won't have to worry anymore." Alan said, holding up the pillow.

Tollank stood up, anger causing him to instinctively close his eyes and snap his fingers. He saw Alan standing there, holding a pillow and talking of smothering his friend. Leon may have just given his life to save hers, and he was suggesting to kill her. Tollank ran at Alan, extending his right arm. The metal hand hit Alan's throat and latched on with vice-like strength. Tollank didn't stop running and soon he was holding Alan up and against the wall. his feet off the ground. "I don't have any fucking idea what she did to you, and quite frankly I don't give a rat's ass. Leon may have just died to save her life, and you want to kill her?" Tears began to run down Tollank's face and his voice started to quiver. "If I ever catch you harming a single hair on her head I will rip that goddamn bug mouth right off of your head. Do I make myself clear?" Tollank let Alan down, and gave him a shove towards the door. "Now go home Alan. We have all had a big day, get some rest, okay?"

Darkness.
Darkness.

He was falling. He was spinning. He was nothing. Leon looked down, breathing heavily, a scream trapped in his throat, his eye wide and pupils dilated. The feeling of falling had vanished, replaced with a chilling numbness. The blood was gone from his skin, his clothing untarnished and immaculate as always. Leon knew that this couldn't be the world he had just left. It was something he had visited before, or better said, some place. When he was younger and more inclined to be hacked apart by his coworkers over him being a mutant, he had visited this place before. It was shortly after his throat had been slit and his skin had lost its colour and warmth. Words were lost in as he spoke them, an impenetrable void blocking the passage of sound. Leon had always seen this place as his form of purgatory. Death did not come easy to him, but during the periods where his body was essentially damaged beyond all repair, he was thrust into this catatonic state as his body did its damnedest to put him back together. It hadn't been the first time he died this way, though it was the first time he was in the company of other people.

Every time he was thrust back into this void, he was reminded of this process. His mutations way or reinforcing that it wasn't particularly good for him to be dying all the time. And it wasn't limited to the trapping of him in this void. Before he could be awoke, he had to experience each prior death. Every moment down to his eyes rolling into the back of his skull. There was the time he was butchered, a time he was all to familiar with, still having the occasional flashbacks of it in his dreams. Then there were the deaths where he bled out, much like today. Six times he slit his wrist and five times he was unsuccessful in what it was he was attempting. This was the first time it was meant to help anyone other than himself. Soon enough the darkness began to fade, being engulfed by a new light, the piercing light that was directly over his bed to be exact. Leon had to admit, thinking of what he had done today, he could get used to helping people other than himself.

The first noise he was greeted with wasn't one of delight to see that his eye had cracked open. It was one of his wall being slammed and Tollnak shooting a quick series of extremely pointed statements towards the person he could only assume was Alan. "Down boy..." Leon said slowly, raising his right hand as far as it wound go, which at the moment wasn't particularly high, snapping his fingers at Tollnak. He wasn't in the mood to hear any fighting. His head was killing him and something was making it a bit harder to breath. His eye blinked heavily, trying to focus some as he lifted his head for a fleeting moment, catching Aeria asleep on his chest, hearing her softly breathe into his chest. His shirt was soaked around her head, he guessed from tears. "Don't worry, I'm still here." He whispered, forcing his arm up, losing all strength to hold it up by the time that he put it around her. "Stay there as long as you want," he smiled weakly, his eye twitching, struggling to stay open as consciousness quickly began to abandon him again. Leon could rest easy for now. If he were to take solace in anything, it would be that.

Aeria stirred lightly in her sleep. She felt something heavy that was placed around her, making her scowl in annoyance; She didn’t like it when she was disturbed in her sleep. For a moment, she had forgotten everything that had happened. Her mind was feeling fuzzy, and her tired body begged for her to get some more sleep. As the fog in her mind slowly started to clear up, she opened her eyes and was met with darkness. She didn’t think anything of it at first so she closed her eyes again, until she felt the rising and falling of what she was laying on. Her pillow was breathing..? No.. Aeria’s eyes flew open when it clicked. Everything that had transpired today came flooding back in like a speed train, and her drowsiness was sent flying out the window.

Aeria became stiff as a statue. She could feel him breathing, feel his heartbeat, and if she focused hard enough, she could even hear his pulse ticking as the sound waves moved through the air; Everything that she so desperately hoped for earlier, but didn’t see any signs of. Aeria didn’t move a single muscle. Not because she didn’t want to disturb Leon’s sleep - kind of, but because she was too embarrassed to. She was sure that her face was flushed red at the moment; Both of gladness and embarrassment. What was she thinking? Sleeping on his chest felt like a pretty good idea at that time--not that she had done it on purpose. At that moment, it felt completely normal and reasonable. First of all, she was as vulnerable as glass because of her near death experience. Second, her mind was a mess and she couldn’t think straight. Last but not the least, she lay down on him thinking that he was dead - she was in denial, of course, but she knew it deep down.

Now that she had gotten some sleep and was functioning pretty well, she felt abashed as she thought about her emotional breakdown; Ecstatic that Leon was alive, and embarrassed that he probably caught her sleeping on him. She groaned internally. She wanted to stand up and make a run for the door, but with her legs asleep, she was sure to stumble and fall. To top it all off, her hair was a mess, and her eyes were red from crying. Aeria stayed there silently as she mentally argued with herself. After a few more minutes of internal conflict, she slowly sat up. At a snail’s pace, she gently grabbed his arm and placed it on top of him before getting up and rushing towards the door.

The blood circulation was cut off of her legs, causing her to lose her balance a little. She shook her right leg slightly to get rid of the uncomfortable tingling, and she headed towards the door hurriedly. She saw Tollank who’s eyes also showed visible signs of crying, and she felt relieved knowing that she wasn’t the only one who got emotional today. No one has ever seen her cry before besides her brother, and probably her father, and she felt appalled about crying in front of anyone else. Fortunately, only Tollank witnessed that. “Hi..” She greeted him with a shy smile, avoiding eye contact. “Anyway, talk to you later. I need to go… I look like crap.” She blurted out in one breath. With that said, she walked past him and headed out the door. As soon as she got outside, she leaned against it and took a deep breath.

Aeria opened the door again, only enough for her head to peek inside,“Oh by the way, Tollank. I think you should put Leon to bed.” She told him before closing the door shut, not giving him enough time to respond. She headed for her room, and she found herself complaining once more about how far it was. It was only when she was close to her room that she noticed that all of her wounds had closed and healed completely. She thought about how Leon almost lost his life to do that, and it caused her to feel a mixture of emotions; She felt grateful, indebted, a bit down, and some other things she couldn’t explain. Her own weakness almost cost Leon’s life, and she wouldn’t have known what to do if he really died. Every moment of her life was sure to be hell. Aeria made a mental note not to ever let that happen again. She would gladly lay down her own life for a friend. Aeria sighed as she reached her room, “I need a shower.”

Rylan passed by several people on the way to the top floor but paid them no real heed. If they were significant to him in any way then they would likely be meeting there as well. He reached the top and looked around. 'Hmm.. first one here.' he thought as he took a seat on a couch close to a large window on the opposite wall of the stairs. It looked like a lounge of sorts. Aside from the couch he was on currently there were other couches and some single chairs. A table sat in the middle. He crossed his arms and put his feet up on the table, looking out the window to the city which was now illuminated with lights hued to resemble daylight as apposed to the blue tone of 'night' time. Patiently he waited for his would be peers and teacher.

Tollank was breathing heavily, slightly shaken by his outburst towards Allen. He didn't like to get angry, let along physical, with other people. But when Alan brought up smothering Aeria, the person that Leon had almost gave his life for, Tollank lost it. Suddenly Tollank heard a weak voice coming from the Aeria and Leon were collapsed on the floor.

Marx said "Down boy..." Leon said slowly, raising his right hand as far as it wound go, which at the moment wasn't particularly high, snapping his fingers at Tollnak.

Waves of relief washed over Tollank, Leon was alive. He walked over to his friend laying on the ground, leaving Alan to his own devices. Leon put his arm around Aeria before falling asleep again. At least this time it was sleep and not him almost dying, meaning Tollank could rest easy as well. First things first though, he needed to wash up. Tollank walked into the bath room to wash himself, flicking on the light as he entered. Tollank was still adapting to the whole sight thing, but in all honesty it wasn't too different from what his mutation allowed. Looking into the mirror, Tollank truly saw himself for the first time. "Damn, I don't look half bad. Except....wait..." Tollank turned his head to reveal a small spot where it appeared someone had ripped out his hair. "What the hell?" He rubbed his hand over the bald spot on the back of his head. " I am gonna look like a freaking idiot with that," Tollank said while opening the cabinet above the sink, looking for something to cut his hair with. With a bit of rummaging around he produced an electric razor. "Well hair, its been fun." Tollank said aloud before a soft buzzing could be heard coming from the bathroom.

I few minutes later he stepped out of the room, his head shaved down to where his hair was no more than a quarter inch in length. He heard movement from where his friends were sleeping and saw Aeria getting up and heading towards the door.

WinterNightSky said “Hi..” She greeted him with a shy smile, avoiding eye contact. I think you should put Leon to bed.” She told him before closing the door shut, not giving him enough time to respond

Tollank smiled to himslelf, knowing that Aeria was okay and back to her old self. He headed over to where Leon was asleep on the ground. For a few moments he contemplated moving him to the bed, but in the end he decided it would be best not to disturb him. Tollank walked over to an adjacent wall and slid down til he was sitting on the ground, leaning against the wall for support. "Better stay here for the evening, just to make sure.......Leon.......is fine." He managed to get that one sentence out before drifting to sleep.

While waiting for Mira, Takeshi noticed Sylvia heading up. He notice her wave, and did likewise, with a soft smile. Once she left, he continued to wait a little. A little while later, Mira exited her room. "Ready?" he asked her, seeing her nod. Slowly, they walked up the stairs. Eventually reaching the top floor. There wasn't many people there. Noticing Sylvia, he approached her, with Mira in tow.
"Hey, any idea what's about to happen?" he asked her, checking to make sure Mira was still okay at the same time.

Looking around, Takeshi was very worried about this. Fio'ranna was said to be eccentric, that means she might do some ... unusual, or strange things, at any moment in time. Also, they had yet to meet Fio'ranna, they had no idea how she would appear in front of them. He was a little worried for Mira because he did not know what to expect of Fio'ranna's eccentricity. Sighing, he closed his eyes for a moment. Not using either of his mutations, he did not want to see anything, or feel anything, he wanted to just rest himself a little more.

Sylvia

Sylvia shook her head to Takeshi's inquiry. "I haven't the faintest idea what's going to happen, frankly I'm having a bit of trouble forming coherent thoughts right now." She turned, facing an elevated disk in the centre of the room where the speaker would undoubtedly appear.

Gavin

Upon awakening, Gavin realized where he was. "The hell..." he said quietly to himself as he rolled out of the couch. He called out. "Sylvia!" No answer. Gavin stood up and took a stretch, groaning as he did so. Whilst yawning, he noted a most unpleasant taste in his mouth. Looking down he saw his hand, riddled in smudged ink. Whoops. It read, [centre]
Sylverblu said Top floor. Fio'Rana. Get there as soon as you can.
You better not have done anything stupid while I was out last night.
I will mess you up.
Seriously. I will stab you.
In the eyes.

xoxo, Sylvia

Gavin felt his eyes cautiously, and finding no fault in them followed Sylvia's instructions and headed to the top floor of the facility, finding himself content in the back of a gathered crowd.

Fio'Rana

Seeing that her esteemed guests had arrived, Fio'Rana decided to make her presence known. She stepped from behind a dividing wall wearing an elegant - if not excessive - white gown. "Welcome, Retributes! It is my greatest pleasure to be hosting you all for the time being, and I do sincerely hope that you enjoy your stay with us." Her eyes seemed to be flicking over each member of the audience as she spoke, instilling a friendly sense about her as she analyzed the face of all. "Ignori district. The prideful. The skilled. One can only be as successful as their sense of purpose, and to have purpose you must acknowledge your skill. We, here in Ignori, recognize this. So again, welcome! I see no sense in dilly-dallying, and so as head of this district it is my purpose to make sure that you have a safe, enjoyable, and..." Fio'Rana paused for a moment, "productive stay upon our vessel. As such, tests have been devised for you in order to analyze your mutative capabilities. Do not fret, should you ever find yourself faced with an obstacle too great simply say the word and you will be removed from the program. Of course... this means that you will have to join the other mutants aboard this vessel as laborers, and I believe that you all are meant for something greater. After all, you chose Ignori as your home!" Fio'Rana began to pace about her platform as she spoke. "Now, about the tests. Some of them are also an examination of your combative ability, so do please prepare yourself for this. I hear that many of you have experience in this field, living the lives of swordsmen," Fio'Rana's eyes darted over to Takeshi for a moment. "...martial artists," her eyes focused briefly on a member of the crowd dressed all in beige with deep, focused brown eyes. "...I've heard that we even have some refugees from the law here." Fio'Rana's eyes came to rest on Sylvia for a moment as she stopped pacing, before picking back up again and glancing around the crowd. "And so, once again, I do have faith that you will all succeed here. Now please, follow the instructors to your testing facilities, and remember, you are being watched. I expect to be impressed!" Fio'Rana stepped off of the platform and disappeared behind the dividing wall once again as several Mak'ari and specially dressed humans began to direct the Retributes into a hall with several doors, each labeled with names.

Gavin

Though somewhat apprehensive, I follow the human to a door with my name on it. He stands to the side, and I hesitate briefly before opening it. "So, what's this test of mine?"

He glares back coldly. "I'm sorry, but I'm not at liberty to say. Mistress Fio'Rana will tell you when you get inside." Figures. I sigh and crack open the door, walking through somewhat slowly and looking around. It looks like a pretty simple room; just four walls, about equal length, I guess, and a floor. For some reason, though, something about this room is making me really, really nervous. My skin starts crawling and the bracelet on my wrist unconsciously flickers for a moment before reforming in my hand as an elegant curved knife. Staring around, I can see what looks like a loudspeaker recessed in the ceiling. Assuming that Fio'Rana can hear me, I call aloud:

"So, uh, what kind of crazy test are you coming up with for me? Does it involve me dying? I really hope it doesn't involve me dying..."
