A full moon illuminated the quaint town of Pocatello. 54,000 souls slept soundly...or not so soundly depending on their situation. Esa looked down into the town from one of the large wooded foothills that surrounded it. He could feel the moon tugging at him, beckoning the beast within. He had learned to control it many years ago and could transform into the 9 foot figure any time the moon was out. At will. He heard the howl of a newly transformed wolf. He couldn't tell who it was, but he knew them. They didn't know him. He had known them all their lives. They didn't know he existed. Until tonight. He felt intoxicating power flow through him. He had left his clothes on a branch so they wouldn't tear. He had spent thousands on ripped clothes. By the time he was fully transformed, the top of his head brushed 10 foot branch. He took one last glance at the town, the hiked higher into the hills. They would be up here soon enough.

a yawn escaped the young weres mouth as he lied on the back porch of his home. His father, a Japanese man with young features, chuckled "You've done nothing all day but you yawn?" A growl was his response, not wanting to communicate, just enjoy the full moon. The twenty something lived a surprisingly comfortable life now, all things considered. Even with only one arm. The moons glow was comforting, though the Howls of others annoyed him. he rolled his eyes and his father chuckled once more, continuing to read whatever book was in hand on the lighted porch that looked into the woods.

Chelsea knew it was coming. She sat on the roof of her small cottage naked-she learned the hard way that clothes do not survive in wolf form. She knew it would happen, but she didn't know when. Her tail was already batting at her legs so she knew it would come soon, but when. Her breath quickened as she heard a howl and she stood up involuntarily howling back. She knew it was coming, her nose was elongating.

Roxy glared at the bares around her. Even though she trapped in a windowless basement she could still feel the moons tug. She wanted to give in and turn, the wolf was stronger than the woman. The wolf might be able to escape the way she had never been able to do. She knew that the wolf often damage the cage. If the beast could do enough damage she would finally have the freedom she dreamed of. When a howl from another wolf reached her Roxy's own transformation would began much to the delight of the man across the room from her.

Justin always takes a few days off around the full moon. His uncle does not mind because Justin works overtime on weekends. Justin feels that isolation is the best way to hide the other side of him. He still has human contact especially with close friends and family but the other him is not for human ears. It has some human features in part but in mind, it is hard to fight the urges to hunt prey regardless what the prey is. Justin goes to a remote private piece of land and sets up camp. He hears a howl and looks at the full moon. It is time, Justin thought to himself. He got undress and started to take form.

James sat in the woods knowing what day it was he took a bag with some clothes in it and left it by the entrance of a hiking trail he could feel the overwhelming sensation as he began his transformation to the beast.

Esa's massive form moved stealthily through the trees, small rocks tumbling away when he put down his massive paw. He figured this would be a good spot. He needed to get their attention. His position would allow it to travel throughout the town. He threw back his head and roared. It was a challenge, to all those who thought they could take him on. It would be heard for miles. Now all he had to do was wait.

James hearing this mighty roar and returned the call as he started charging toward where it came from eager to meet the challenge that awaits him.

Jose, having heard the roar, was mildly unnerved, but he didn't move. His father looked at him, but decided not to say anything

Chelsea was gone, the Wolf inside taking over. She howled loudly as she paced the roof, trying to find a way off.

Fully transformed Roxy paced her cage. The wolf wanted out. She slammed against the bars that kept seperated from the one who issued the challenge. She needed to be free. She needed to answer the call. She growled at the man who kept her from her destiny. He was dead when these bars. She continued to slam against the bars. She could feel them bending. Eventually she would be free.

After transform tun into his other self, Justin heard a howl. It was a howl asking for a duel. Although with great difficulty, Justin fought back the urge to answer it. He will not fight unless they are on his turf. Justin set out marking his turf and hunting along the way.

Chelsea whined, she couldn't figure how to get down without getting hurt. She howled sadly.

Kess was usually already deep in the forest when the change took over. Body twisting into the form she had actually grown to love. The first thing she did was run, running always took away the built up jitters from the weeks before the change. Plus it was exhilarating the rush of the passing trees the hundreds of smells and thousands of different sounds it was almost intoxicating. Almost.

Tonight wasn't any different, tonight she was almost halfway through her normal route when an great roar met her ears causing her to skid to a halt. The sound filled her with a feeling she wasn't quite sure about. Her first instinct was to run, she wasn't exactly friendly with any of the local changers/were's or whatever they called themselves. That didn't mean she didn't like them either she just preferred to be on her own. This howl was different though nothing like the others that she'd heard and peaked her curiosity. So, against her better judgement she turned headed toward the howl.

Roxy bared her teeth at the man that sat there watching her. He didnt seem to realize that he was in danger. She hoped that he wouldn't realize it until it was too late. She gave him a wolfy grin as she continued to through her body against the bars. The groan and bent under her attack she knew she was close, a couple more hits and she would be free. Suddenly the bars gave way she leaped at the man.

James stopped the charge nearing where it came from. He would begin to slowly and carefully approach the call bracing himself for one of the others.
