I like the sound of it. I was originally thinking of something like that, a mix of Persian and Egyptian maybe? Then again where Tal is from its a plainsland so I think your suggestion would fit better.

I'm loving this RP. Awesome writing and detail, awesome settings, awesome characters. I'm particularly interested in seeing what will become of Tal and if a friendship will form between Wren and Astrid. I hope this RP last for a long time. I will also do an RP summary for whats going on(It helps me follow the plot) and do you guys think we need a posting order?

That would be awesome if you made a brief summarary for us all to go over again. Don't think we need a posting order really, just make sure to keep posting at least somewhat in moderation. I think we could help support this by enforcing a min length. I have been noticing some shorter type of posts and this is a casual RP, not a free RP.

Collab posts like the most recent one would also help I believe. Reduce the number of posts in the IC while maintaining the same amount of story being told. Of course collabs are only viable in certain situations but it certainly wouldn't hurt now and then. As for posting order an established order isn't required. I think whats important is that people try to keep at least two or three separate players between them and their last post.

I don't dig collab posts. Generally, they result in a lower activity rate IC and exclude other players from jumping in during a conversation.

Agreed, we probably don't need a posting order, but I have to agree with Winter, some people are making these really really short post. Gotta be honest, it kinda takes away from the epicenes of the story. Its like...im reading an amazing novel. The pages are full and in depth, and deeply detailed...and then...the next page has one intsy wintsy little paragraph and it completely dissolves the powerful and epic feeling.

Edit: Gotta be honest Bee, your post have been insanely short. No description whatsoever, just a bit of reactive dialogue and that's it. As the Queen, I think u gotta put a lot more effort into your post dude. It detracts from the RP when ur not giving as much as everyone else. Just keeping it real man. Like Winter said, this is casual, not free roleplay.

The last post was short because I didn't have much to say. I had to speak a few sentences, and that was it.
If you make a post too long with no actual content, it's purple prose. Purple prose is terrible. You should write the appropriate length necessary. Any more would be wasting time.

And for the record, the Dokkodo is twenty-one short sentences. The Book of the Void is about a page long.

Not a big fan of them either but they serve their purpose (like now) every now and then.

Summary sounds good. Posting order.. no. I like posting when I feel like it and when I have a good idea.

I can see where you are coming from, but I think it'd been better if Sloth had just gone with no interaction. It doesn't really matter. We're not reading/writing a Dokkodo or Book of Void. Not a big deal anyway and certainly not worth the commotion we have now.

Moreover, you're one to talk about putting effort into your writing when you're just playing a genderswapped Oichi from Sengoku Basara. You didn't even try to hide it. And even ignoring the fact that it's a blatant ripoff, I wouldn't describe Sengoku Basara as the most intricately written game.

Hey, wanna drop this now before I have to remove either of you from the RP? Take these petty fights to PM's if you wish to insult eachother till no end. I'm the GM and until I say people need to put in more effort there's no problems.

That said, people need to put in more effort. I've seen 3 '1-paragraph posts' now and I'm not digging that too much. Up your game a bit, people.

And yes, I'm dead serious. Consider this, Kimono. You just walked into my RP with a CS, which I accepted, and now already arguments are happening. And Bee, you had trouble writing a backstory for the queen, something that isn't so hard at all. 1 paragraph posts paired with that aren't a good impression. Now drop the argument, I'm way too tired to deal with this shit.

I haven't insulted or engaged in any petty fighting at all. How am I being lumped into this? I made ONE post suggesting he make longer entries in the story and im arguing? I'm not getting the correlation here. But, its neither here or there. Sorry for whatever I did. I'll just be quiet and post IC to the best of my ability. :)

Bring your message a bit more subtle next time. It's weird for a person with 1 post have criticism about others.

No one has engaged Theo in conversation during him training off-duty guardsmen yet, right?
