There is so many other reasons Wilson needs to be banned. For one he just openly admitted he created a faction purely to piss off a sole player, which is wrong and creates more OOC conflict and proves that he is not capable of forgetting the past.

Numero uno: I specifically asked KeyGuy if I could bring back the Draconians for the original purpose of torturing you. He said it was a great idea. I have screenshots if you wish for proof.

Numero dos: And you are not capable of losing, obviously, unless it’s IN a game, in which you spam everything so that it would take so long to kill you, that the enemy player would probably just leave from the ridiculousness of it all.

You should be banned too, you know, if you’re going to say that kind of stuff ‘bout me

duck55223 said
I am more then willing to drop the past, but he keeps on bring it up. He has constantly beat up on a sole player as well, and has tried to continue arguments after they were long since settled. It's like he relies off conflict to live or something.

You live off of making war and conflict with a nation of magical insanely-religious peaceniks in an echo chamber.

duck55223 said
I will admit, I am far from perfect. I have several areas where I need drastic improvement, but Wilson acts likes he so much better then everyone else. His idea of "fair" is where he has a faction capable of butt-raping every single person in the RP.

I’m far from perfect, and i don’t need to be as dramatic in announcing it. In math, if I have not a good teacher, I fail horribly. I suck at chemistry; I also suck at real relationships, or making real friends. You’d like me better in real life, unless you hate friendly somewhat smart-asses- I don’t criticize nearly as much or anything.

My idea of fair is where one will not or cannot bring in thousands of ships against a single, under-200 force, that are trying to break through an insanely strong shield that, even if it does go down, comes right back up a moment later at full strength.

duck55223 said
His idea of "restrictions" are ones that everyone else has to abide by but he has some form of bullshit technology that bypasses them. His idea of a "good story" is one where their is constant war between all player factions, despite their ideologies or policies. Is that really someone we want in this RP?

My idea of restrictions are to allow everyone to have a chance if someone attacks them, not to allow them to instantly bring in thousands. At the very least, have the post where they warp in, and start to recover from the long jump, which will at least give the enemy time to attack before you curbstomp them.

THIS.Also, Cale Tucker, go read the rules for once. The last two were broken. They say "No emotional breakdowns in the OOC." and "NO HEATED ARGUMENTS IN THE OOC." The latter obviously isn't a bannable offense, as it usually has two offenders at once. If the argument is broken up or ends, then it;s all good. The first is far, far more serious. If someone has a breakdown, then who's to say they won't have another? Who's to say they won't have one in IC?Combined, those rules are a bannable offense. Possibly not perma-bannable, but still bannable. Now, when someone implies that all the other roleplayers are "Doing it wrong" because they're not adhering to what that someone wants, THATS it. Perma-ban. Again, we can hold a vote right now if you want. See who wants Wilson back. I don't have any objection to that vote taking place, nobody will get punished for voting "yes".

Duck hasn’t had a breakdown, and neither did I? I just got really pissed, and wrote about it. If I were MAD, if I had an EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN, and I have had one before, got suspended and had to go see a ‘Shrink’ for several weeks before I could return, then I wouldn’t be here right now. An emotional breakdown is just that- a breakdown. You fall apart. I didn’t fall apart- I got pissed and wrote about it. Yes. I got pissed and wrote about it, why, and why it’s getting stupid.

Cale Tucker said
Secondly, Keyguy, by your statements, Duck deserves a ban for at aleast two break downs. We are all human. What do you expect to happen when we are cornered? And if needed, I will give proof of several kinds, in character posts, OOC posts, opinions of other players, etc of Ducks power playing and completely outrageous bullshit. By that I mean, I don't know how to describe utterly fake and unbelievable actions even with magic in play.

^^^

Cale Tucker said
Unlike Wilson may choose, I would actually vote against a banning or booting of Duck. Just either someone new should GM, or, I think I may have even said it when I first joined; Duck just needs to be watched over

I just want duck to not have supershields and come in with massive fleets to stomp enemies like a fat guy would to an ant. I’d rather like roleplaying with him if he didn’t have all that. Comes to a new world, silences them all and make them feel relaxed and such. Creepeh!

LaXnyd said
...Are we safe yet?

No. The bombs are still falling, might want to dig a bunker next.
Also, why is it that me leaving has such a big impact? If I was so bad, why didn't you all just say, "Thank God he's gone! Ah, well, let's get back to curbstomping and conferences, yum yum."

Honestly, I am sorry for my outburst. I shouldn’t have called people retarded- that’s cause I’m retarded, yeah? I saw what I thought was a problem, and I saw that the same thing had been around for some time. Other people may not see it that way- they stay out of war, and they do fine. Or, they simply get everyone to like them, more or less, so that there’s too many people in orbit to ever get harmed [Nouvellians].

I saw what I thought was a problem happening repeatedly. When no one adequetely explained it or why it was happening, I get angrier and angrier, especially when no one else really speaks out against it [not talking about you Cale].

So I am sorry. #MeStupid. But there haven’t been any REAL explanations, at least not that met what I was having a problem about. Here, this is what I consider a real explanation:

WilsonTurner said
Ah, unfortunate indeed. However unfortunate for you, it is debatable. After all, wasn't there a rule where you can't just have it there, even if you PM people? Darkwolf did it to Duck, and you, in the end, decided that it has to be said in the IC or OOC, where everyone can see. Patrols and such are fine, but you can't just have an entire fleet that just happens to be waiting and testing out stealth.Unless, of course, you'd like to change the past and actually probably lead the Eternal Union to lose a great deal of territory to their own infected mates.Speaking of which, Duck's doing that thing where his people are completely under control. Like they're all perfectly obedient. It's aggravating me. If you drive me away, you'll send me right back to Duck XDGonna have to bring back the Goddess again, too.

Keyguyperson said
The Grand Fleet is actually at New Condia, but the Terrans don't want you to know that.As for Duck's peeps, I think it actually makes sense. The Eternal Union never had war, mainly because Faust. As a result, they are shit at tactics. Also because of Faust, they are united by one ideal. Think about what happens when the "leader" of a religion says something against a group of people. People agree with them out of a sense of duty. Others disagree because they see flaws in other things that have been said, and thus see no reason to agree with a statement that says they should hate somebody. Now, imagine if everything ever predicted by that religious leader happened. Imagine if everything they said before was scientifically proven fact. Nobody would question this statement, because they were never wrong before. Now imagine if this has gone on for as long as anyone can remember. Yeah. If you ask me, that's what's going on in the Eternal Union. The people are more or less blind followers of the leaders, doing whatever they are told because they have never known anything else.

And if you ask why I just came back and said this [which is odd; I leave and everyone starts arguing about banning and/or kicking me], well, you're all talking about me so much, so I figured I should put my last words in.

I don't have any problem with you, you're following the rules perfectly. Wilson, however, wasn't.

Because he was cornered and forced down. people got on him for being 'annoying' when all he was doing was telling the truth Duck is power gaming and controlling the outcomes of... well... everything. Especially nearly annihilating a race for no reason.

Look at what happened to you. Everyone started stressing you out and pressuring you and upsetting you. You had an outburst and screamed at everyone. The problem at hand is Duck which needs to be resolved. Wilson does need to calm down but to place blame on him is to ignore the problem. I understand the whole best friend thing, but you're a GM. You can't play favorites or be over powered. I consider Sep a good friend over the rest of you, but I couldn't just give him planet exploding shit in my roleplay. I had to make sure I treated him equally as other players. If you deny resolution to the problem considering Duck, but continue with a punishment on Wilson, you are not showing you are a capable GM.

This all started with Duck. Had he been accurately watched and made to play fair, none of this would have happened.

Again, I would not vote to ban Duck, but Duck is one of those players I expect that like to do what ever they wish to. I would categorize as the saying goes "one of those roleplayers" but Duck doesn't seem as underage or immature. He just wants to act out every detail of how his Nation would be and would do. Problem is that he isn't really constricted. Especially with the play of magic, he has work arounds to new rules.

Those weren't emotional outbursts, those were me using FULL CAPITALS, because there seems to be no other way to get information to Wilson's rather thick skull. Those super-shields were only in response to one thing, the fact that Darkwolf was using ships that not even magic could create and were OP. That massive fleet that was assembled took the effort of multiple nations, one of which is a warrior nation.

Both you and Cale seem to ignore any other instance of anyone else being op/power-gaming/godmodding, because your only interested in attacking me, or doing anything else you deem wrong and unoriginal. I have in almost all instances where I did it attempted to rectify my power-gaming, and Keyguy is not playing favorites. He just see who the real problem is. Wilson with is constant negative criticism, he never tries to be helpful and say what is wrong and ways you can fix. He just insults you while yelling at you what your doing wrong, and then doing nothing else to help you fix it.

Oh and I am not capable of loosing? Well I guess were ignoring Facility A-5 and the terrible loss that was the attempted invasion of Earth. And I guess all of those SC2 matches I keep on loosing don't count either.

And the question is if he let the Draconians back as a anti-Iscandarian force, or he let them back to aggravate me. If its the first one, thats fine, I don't mind dealing with them at all. If it's the second one then you have some serious issues.

Edit: And Apollo, Facility A-1 is hidden on the far-side of Iscandarian space, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay far away from where the Septonians are located. They would have had to travel through multiple Core Worlds and possibly Alas Prime to reach it. That is literal suicide, espically considering you only have 50 ships and Facility A-1 cloaks its self anyways, not as in invisible, but it does hide its signatures.

Blackhole class ships carry a pretty sweet electronics package, they can find the speck on a needle in a stack on needles. We also went waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay around, the absence of a map really makes things hard also, just RP it out.

Everyone has warpstuff. You can cross from the edge of one bit of territory to the other side without ever stopping between. You didn't want restrictions, remember? The Terran space may be on the far side compared to New Condia, and yet the Draconians simply followed the Terrans' warp sigs and went to their home systems.

Darkwolf has good reason to at least soup up his ships a bit more. Not quite as much as I expected, but then again, you did come up with your own fleet and three allied battle fleets just to his one. You kinda pushed it on him, especially since he and I were thinking that we were ALL using much smaller ship numbers.

And the Draconians were supposed to aggravate YOU, duck, and KeyGuy agreed to it. I specifically said to "Torture you," and he said, "Sure!"

Here, I'll give you the screenies.

Duck, I would honestly like to be nicer, but you're doing what thy archenemy Rogue did long ago. Rogue gave the Draconians weaknesses, but never said what they were. He would say, more or less, "Figure it out, just explore your options." No one really explored their options; they just threw stuff at them, intentionally or no according to IC, and when the Draconians blew it up, le whien. Obviously, he got tired of it and left. Here I am. Valkians are with a overall weak fleet power, but each individual ship can take more hits than anyone else. However, each individual ship also does much, much less damage. They're more suited for either attacking a fleet very similar to their own, or hitting carriers and fighters. The Draconians here are, well, smaller than everyone else. They also aren't as god-mode- their Cirruses are hard to detect, but with automatic engagement systems, such as a fire-and-forget missile, it may just lock on and blow it apart. A single missile, which would normally do little damage, could destroy the ship that destroyed so many ships in the previous roleplays Rogue played in. Shields are weaker, armor isn't as thick, but no one knew that, because no one bothered to read my skirmish post between D & V, and no one ever actually battled them.

And those losses are minor on the battle scale as compared to New Condia. You called in help from as many sources as you could to form a giant overwhelming fleet. While I see why Darkwolf might want to make his ships more powerful, they should've simply been vaporized by how many ships. Darkwolf was scattered, coming in all over the edge of the system, and you were all assembled to face them. That should've been a no-brainer, tbh, and my apologies for not saying so. I never paid much attention to Darkwolf because I was pissed at all the ship numbers. Didn't like the curbstomping, see.

And I don't have a thick skull; hit a doorknob when I was little [rounded], got a nice big hole in my head. Obviously not through my actual skull- I'd be dead if that were so.

And neg crit is cause I pissed at you ^.^
Would you have truly listened to me if I told you how might you do something better?

Note that, in reality, even with sublight, coming from the edge of a system and moving into the orbit of Earth or something could take seven hours or MORE. So, we're all moving extremely fast here. Anyways, here's what I might say about New Condia if I could decide its outcome based on, more or less, how it went, except with a real timeline and damage count:

Simply too many ships were against such a small amount.

Its pretty far away, as In near the galactic core far away. Most of Iscandarian Territory is clumped around Sol, which is nowhere near the core.

First of all, I'd like to say that the screenies that Wilson posted are 100% genuine images of a PM between me and him. Don't be thrown off by the fact that they are separate images, because they're situated just like that in the actual PM. That was a terrible, terrible choice, and I don't know nor do I want to know what I was thinking. That was so inexplicably wrong that there is no excusing what I did, and I fully accept that. It doesn't even end there. I thought that I could use the Draconians to prove Duck could roleplay, blindly ignoring the fact that their sole purpose was to piss him off. In short, I was manipulating Wilson.

You'll all want me gone now, so I'll let you order me away. I won't try to save face by resigning for some bullshit reason like "It's falling apart". Just do me a favor and please, please pick a better GM. You deserve it.

Pfft

Fuck no. You're perfectly damn fine. Better GM than most, in my opinion. Kept the rp going for longer than many other roleplays, even if half the players are lengthy players. it's falling apart cause some of us don't agree with some others, and the disagreeing can get verbally violent ( :3 ), so to speak. I'm an ass... idk about everyone else, but I'ma ass. I asked in the first place; you were probably still simmering a bit from Duck trying to manipulate... well, manipulating is subtle, so let's just go with control, control you. Whatwith him getting mad at the mere suggestion of him losing ((Cough cough))

Ban me, sure, but you resign? You're the core of the roleplay- you leave, it ain't the same. Even if you don't have as much of an impact on the roleplaying, or are as active as anyone else. We all here cause of you.

Edit: and I couldn't fit the two posts in a single screenshot, which is why they're separate.

I imagine Nouvelle is near Sol or in between Sazkarjhia and Sol. Thats means or either pressed up against me or against Sazkarjhia. You could be closer to the core, but it only be by a few light years, not emough to warrant you finding a station that is literally next to the galactic core, if you were heading to my territory to invade then you wouldn't happen upin Facility A-1.

Edit: And since I forgot to I vote for a permanent ban of Wilson. That makes two vote for his ban, one absta, and one against it.

It's a research facility that communicates with something, It can be found. Why isn't it probable? Pick a vector and jump away from new condia with the intention of flanking and I end up by a station. It's about as probable as finding another factions ship in the vacuum
