Ah, haven't seen the first Arc; and, basically, what the heroes would be doing right now is either up to the 'senior players', or you can just make up your own orders to react to the Merc and Corporates' moves.

Well, seeing as this second Arc is about Pro-Meta/Anti-Meta protests and riots (Much like Civil War) I guess you just have to pick a side.

I've been given the 'Go' by potato for my character to be hired by the Mysterious TV-Man to work against the Meta's. This will include various attacks on the Anti-Meta Movement that will shine an even worse light on Meta's. Some Meta's my decide to join Aster in attacking, becoming resentful for their current treatment after years of being a Hero or just simply killing out of pure bloodlust. Other's will want to stop him and learn why he's attacking people.

I imagine that, after my next post, you'll find something to do. Although, It'll be a while before I reveal that Aster is working for the TV-Man.

Potato, what about my character and yoggs? Mine looks OP on paper but I've made points as to why paper lies in the interest check topic. TDLR version: all thats listed minus Reality Shift pretty much every looney toon/tom and jerry/old cartoon has, and some of those cartoons like Wile e coyote have even more abilities on top of that, yet they aren't OP, so yeah. :P.

Let me be candid: That is a false analogy.

If Looney Tunes/Tom and Jerry characters were transported to this world, they would be OP. If Looney Tunes/Tom and Jerry characters were transported into the world of the Gifted, they would still be OP. Why? Because they would be more powerful than most of the characters. Just because something works in one world/show doesn't mean it works in all worlds/shows.

And, sorry if I make you hate me with this argument; that wasn't my intention.

I don't like imposing judgement just by myself, despite the fact that everyone thinks I'm the GM now O.o

So, I've said my points and honestly, the only think bothering me is the immortality - it is true what you've said that toons survive all this stuff but we ain't all toons so a problem begins to develop here. Also no one has died yet guys. Come on! Start shooting each other a little more, or at least try to get someone romantically! Elijah is a lady's man, if he doesn't sweet-talk Nightingale into some romantic fun times, I'll be disappointed!

And thats probably where the misconception is. They can't be killed short of a spirit bomb or black hole, yeah, but at the same time a person with a sledgehammer can do some serious damage/knock them out for a while with a good hit (Or make them fall off a cliff). Plus think of the psychlogical problems toon regen would cause, you couldn't take situations seriously anymore, which leads to deadpool moments of insanity at times.

Sure, an extreme example is that Superman wouldn't be able to beat any of them flat out, but they couldn't beat superman either, and superman could pretty much just ignore them for the most part, or throw them in a pit or something. lol.

Ok, I'll be blunt. state the EXACT problem it causes. I've already made it so she can't defend othres using her regeneration as attacks will affect her differently and more or less 'ignore' her or have her pose very little resistance to them, so the human meat shield is gone. She can be knocked out so endurance matches, unless the opponent is stupid enough not to do some sort of containment thing, isn't a reality, so whats the problem? She changes up how people have to fight her, where instead of killing, its knock out and contain, which is more or less the same thing. Is that the problem? Because thats the only one I see. Instead of "dodge dodge dodge" its "gets hit, comedic moment, regenerates" Both end up with knockout or victory as the final result so yeah, whats the problem, especially since almost no dodging can lead to better lead in attacks from the opponent.

My character was kind of on the downlow since being booted from her unit, but I didn't think it was too far out of the realm of possibility that it'd be accessible information for the US to possess somewhere so I let it slide. Pam would totally be willing to do the job anyway, since the whole reason she is going to LA is to protect people from meta-humans.

I don't know why you would want to play a character like that, Archmage. It's a combat-orientated RP and she's basically a walking punch-bag to see who has the capability to knock her out! If you want to play her then I'll accept her but I don't think you'll have a lot of fun! Also, if people fight against you and think you're OP then we'll have to have this conversation again!

Well she does have super strength, so yeah, she has SOME offensive capability :P. And maybe down the line she can use the defensive capabilties for... defense of others unlike now. Plus down the line, maybe portable hole. Lots of growth still.

Unrelated note, a person can only create portals as their only ability, these portals can be created along any sightlines they have, and are created at the point they designate instead of say, like the portal gun where its a projectile that makes the portal (The latter can still work though) How would you deem this ability? UP, OP or balanced?
