The Imperial star destroyer Kaiser sits silently in space, on the outer edge of a quiet star system, its patrol put aside for the moment in favor of a different type of operation, one involving several paid men and women who were contacted about undergoing some missions in the Empire's name, missions they were either too proud or too occupied to do themselves. A briefing has just ended for the team of mercenaries and bounty hunters, they now all have settled onto their new home, "The Saber", a specially modified YT - 1300 freighter formerly owned by Corran Halcyon, one of them men on the team.

The Saber makes it way away from the star destroyer, as both ships begin to initiate their hyperdrives, sending them in different directions. Inside of the Saber, the crew gets acclimated with each other as well as the ship. Their first mission, a simple rescue one, they have been tasked to head for the planet Allyuen, a remote mining world in the Outer Rim. The team must find and safely bring back Captain Jak Adderson, who was captured by pirates after his ship was shot down after a failed recon mission over the planet. He has been confirmed as alive and somewhere on the planet's surface
"So if we end up getting shot at by pirates, I get to man the cannon, right? Because I really want to. You know, that thing is not much harder than using a blaster, which I am brilliant with," Koren Valcato said, his words quick, with a feeling of energy to them as the red skinned Zeltron pestered Corran Halycon, who sat at the ship's controls in the cockpit of the Saber. Annoying the man from his standing position behind the pilot's chair. "You know, guys like us gotta be pals, we have such close sounding names, there has to be something more to it."

"Pirates won't even know what hit them, man!" Koren added, scratching his arm, then seemingly twitching nervously as he waited for Corran to acknowledge his presence. His blaster pistol hanging noticeably off the belt of his non combat slacks.

Koran said "So if we end up getting shot at by pirates, I get to man the cannon, right? Because I really want to. You know, that thing is not much harder than using a blaster, which I am brilliant with,"

"As far as I'm concerned you can have it. I can't shoot out of anything but a pilots seat with a fixed gun. And that particular skill is useless here..."
Null glances around the cockpit and wrinkles her nose in disgust. "Do any of you shower? Ever?"
Null looked out one of the rectangular oblong portholes in the upper wall of the cockpit. The stars shining through in their usual perpetual gleam. Sometimes she imagined one of those stars were her mother... and she didn't really know if the thought comforted her or unsettled her. She shuddered to think what the imaginary personality she had built for her mother; charming, wise, sweet... quiet... she shuddered to think what that woman she imagined would think of her now. A killer and a mercenary. Like her father... The idea that her father might be proud of her and what she's accomplished in these past 13 years was even more disturbing. It made her sick to her stomach with grief. She could imagine the face of every man she had killed... the two women... They all deserved it but sometimes she wondered if she deserved to be the blade that put them out of everyone else's misery. She even contradicted herself, wondering if she was good enough to judge them that way in the same pulse of blood that wondered if she was a horrible enough person to deserve to carry their souls and faces in her mind the rest of her life... she felt haunted by these thoughts. Haunted by herself. Sometimes she wondered if it was just her way of escaping what she was. The murder, the adventure, the sex... what if it was just her way of masking what was beneath. Pretending that this is what she had imagined for herself as a child. But whatever the reason she worked for someone she couldnt just escape now. She was in this life permanently whether she knew or even cared if it was what she was meant to do.
Eventually the weight of the stars she was staring at forced her to look down at the grated floor instead. These thoughts were too heavy for right now...

Corran gave a side glance at the astromech sitting in a modified bracket where the co-pilot would be, rolling his eyes at the conversation as the stars in the viewport elongated as they entered hyperspace. He himself was cocky, Koren... was just irritating and for the time he had been aboard he had done nothing to let him think that it was just a little bit of excitement. "If you two are done finishing discussing how I'm going to run my ship it's pretty simple." He turned his seat around, having fitted it with a swivel mount, to face the other two beings who resided in the cockpit. "Whoever has experience with combat in space can take the turrets-" He shrugged. "-Failing that it will be a first come first served basis though anyone who screws up won't get to do it again. I may not be here by choice but I'd rather you didn't get me killed." He stood up, before crawling below a console. Still speaking to the other two beings as he pulled out an assortment of wires.

He looked at several off them, before putting them haphazardly back and moving onto another set of wires. "Also to you miss mandalorian-" His voice was quieter due to the fact that he was working under a console. "The past two days I've spent in a containment cell, or trying to undo whatever it was the Imperials have done to the Saber-" Chuckles gave a tweedle. "-Or too Chuckles." He pulled himself out, standing up and brushing himself down. "And I've still managed to hit a refresher. If the smell of myself or the ship isn't to your satisfaction feel free to locate your nearest airlock, or make a suggestion box." He sat down in the pilot seat again, letting his hands run over the controls but not quite pressing anything. He had been told before that this made him look like he was using the mystical "force" that Vader used however he liked to think he was just that attuned to the vessel he could get a read off it so easily. Satisfied he turned around, "Now if you don't mind, please vacate the cockpit. Not that I don't trust any of you in here without me, but I don't trust anyone in here without me." The bracket opened and Chuckles went to wheel out of the room. "Very funny Chuckles, get back to what you were doing." The droid beeped a response however Corran just gave it a stern kick.

He didn't have time for bounty hunters, not with Zann on his tail but he couldn't get Zann his cargo until he got rid of these blasted hunters. "I'm sure you all want to get to know eachother. Discuss how fun it is to dismember a mans skull from his spine or whatever it is bounty hunters talk about. I myself want to spend the eight hours in hyperspace resting so when the shit hits the fan I'm good to go."

Therra took up refuge in the quarters next to the captains room, putting away her armor and her gear in a container. Digging through a small bundle she pulled out a bar of soap, and looked at it. It smelled of Mandalorian wildflowers and the scent reminded her of the home she left a long time ago, for a life that just brought her pain. Clutching the soap close to her chest. Getting up she walked out into the corridor and started looking for the shower. When she finally found it she threw off her clothes and took one, she sat in the cold water until it warmed up and thought about what brought her here.
Jabiim, 4 weeks ago

The rain poured down over her helmet and her rifle sat within reach. She had been here for weeks chasing her quarry. At this point her quarry was weary, people spoke of the mandalorian on the planet and that meant only one thing a bounty hunter. So her pray was paranoid she watched from a safe distance as he looked over his shoulder and looking for whoever was hunting him. Therra looked down once more at her holodevice just to make sure this was her target, this man was a rebel and he planned on destroying something very critical to the imperial government on this planet, this wasn't even a bounty he was worth more dead than alive anyways. But they needed someone who would get the job done and she was it. Completely sure this was her target she pulled the trigger, the blue streak of light that signified her round impacted the mans skull and brought him down right in the middle of a crowded market place people scattered, women screamed. She did her job so she packed up her gear and left.

At the imperial embassy, they gave her the credits and then another holo. "What's this she asked?" Turning it on brought up a ship, "Your new job, if you'd like to take it." Her contact said.
"whats the job?"
"You are to crew with this ship, and do any mission that the empire deems fit for them."
"That's kinda vague..."
"Well, we can't tell you what they would be doing. But you do this you'll be rich enough to settle down somewhere nice." The thought of extra credits was nice, and the thought of settling down on some planet that wasn't covered in ice or rain year round. "Alright, I'll do it." She said "Good, your shuttle is waiting outside for you." The contact said, with that said Therra left the room leaving her contact standing there looking at the bounty hunter as she left.

Therra had probably spent way to much time in the shower, as the water was bone chilling. Quickly using the soap she brought in with her she cleaned up and got out of the shower. Quickly dressing herself she walked back out into the corridor and came just in time as some of her compatriots walked out of the cockpit. The pilot spoke of leaving him alone and spoke of pulling out skulls and other things. "You know what i hate, Corellians. They are so thick skulled that a Rancor's skull looks like jelly compared to it. Also their blood is like them stubborn it never gets out of your clothes or armor without a stain remover." She joked a smile on her face as she said it.

"Jeez, flyboy, I'm just trying to settle an important issue." Koren replied, flashing a smile as Corran continued rambling on about how they were annoying him or something, he stopped paying attention to some important bits.

"I don't think he likes our company, I don't know why, two beautiful people like us." He said, turning to Null and flashing a familiar flirty grin which he had turned on many women before, with varying results. Then another womanwalked in, making a remark about Corran which made the Zeltron laugh a compulsive laugh.

"Why I prefer blasting them away from a sizable distance, it's a lot less cleanup, burns a hole straight through whoever you're shooting at." He said to Therra, quickly unholstering his pistol, spinning it, then blowing on the barrel, jokingly imitating some trick from some movie he saw long ago. Koren snapped his pistol back down, reholstering it with another quick smile.

"I'm going to go raid the booze cabinet, I'll pray to myself that those damned plastic boys who cleaned up the ship left some for us," Koren said, moving out of the cockpit. "You ladies are free to join me, the pilot too, but he seems like he'd rather take a snooze or whatever." Then with that he was out, bounding towards the crew lounge.

Sitting on a the couch in the crew lounge was an orange gungan gunhand with a cobalt blue bottle, the label was dated half a decade ago and laser etched into the glass for posterity. He popped the silicone cork and breathed it in with wide flared nostrils before a tongue over a foot slipped down into the orifice for a taste. He spoke to no one in particular as he talked about the bottle in his hands.

"Spore mead, made from the sandwasp of ord cestus and a poisonous mushroom able to kill a Reek in an hour, same mushroom is almost as potent as Bota and bottled before the clone wars... One of the most expensive drinks out there... And I fill the bottle from a junk yard with the cheapest anti-freeze cut prison rotgut I can swallow."

With that, he tilted the butt in the air and took a noxious swig of the mechanic hooch. It burned like battery acid all the way down and into every limb, oh how he loved to hate that burn. It made his mind numb out and that is just what he wanted at the moment they slipped to hyperspace. one step closer to a pile of credits, one step closer to his ship or else one step closer to palpatine's throne.

The Zeltron, Koren, was attractive enough... Definitely much like the sort she'd gallivanted with on Coruscant from time to time. Still, she wasn't sure what the ramifications for sleeping with someone you work with were... especially when your work is generally sunk in the seedy underbelly of the Galaxy where people often shoot at you for messing with their shab. Being emotionally attached to someone in that profession could be a serious liability... Granted, it might help that he seemed pretty empty in the personality department. Maybe being personally attached wouldn't ever be a problem. Being on the fence about a man made for much harder decisions when sober, so she decided to follow him to the crew lounge and have a drink or four. After all, they still had eight hours of hyperspace left, and she had already noted a nice little stock of powdered Zeltron liver left among her things, (Something that was highly illegal and probably needed to be hidden better, even though it was usually donated and not killed for since they had regenerative livers) which she could always take a dose or two of if she really needed to sober up.
Many people didnt know that Zeltrons livers were highly advanced, and that they had two of them. Because of this, they often used their endowment to their advantage. Adding that to their uncanny ability to excrete hormonal cocktails that were outragiously enticing, and it made them very good pick up artists in pubs. It also made them ruthless business dealers and gamblers, using drink as a way to slight major businessmen and crime lords. Investing hundreds of creds in good drink and making off with tens of thousands later. All in all, they were a very well evolved species. And powdered Zeltron liver was a good remedy for intoxication. Either that, or the drunks thought it was, either way. healthy stuff, really good for your body in general by cleansing toxins from just about anything.
Null believed in the stuff. And she definitely beleived in Corellian Whiskey. So she was hoping this pirate fierfek had an ounce of patriotism.
And several hundred ounces of good drink.
Especially since that gungan with the engine sludge wasn't really making her want to share the bottle...

Corran was about to reply to the smart arsed Mandalorian when the Zeltron suggested they go get a drink. Out of his drinks cabinet no less. That the Imperials had no doubt not even bothered to refill after they had pillaged the ship! What was worse is that the other woman... whatever her name was agreed, and then left the cockpit with her. His mouth hung open as he tried to think of something to say, and then he took a moment to compose himself and merely shrugged. "Well, it's a good thing I've hidden the good stuff then." He turned to the Mandalorian woman who had made the comment. "You may think we're thick skulled and stubborn-" He pressed his thumb to his chest. "I've been smuggling from one side of this galaxy for years and only got caught when I got betrayed by someone else. We earn the right to be stubborn. As for thick skulled." He merely shrugged.

"Why do I need to learn anything else when I know all I need to know? At least I have a greater emotional range than a protocol droid. Hell, I've seen Chuckles crack better jokes than a Mandalorian. He's better company too." The little droid in the bracket let go a long tweedle as its head dome spun around as if in joy at the compliment. Corran just shrugged as he walked out of the cockpit and he turned to regard the Mandalorian. "Oh, you're also dripping water everywhere." With that he nipped into the door closest to the cockpit, his personal quarters. Sealing the door, and ensuring it would stay locked. He moved over to his desk in the corner.

Running his hand over it and under it there was a tiny indent, taking a pin he pushed it in and a nearby wall lifted up revealing a smuggling compartment. One to find, one to keep. A philosphy for many things, holdout blasters, knifes, credchips. Of course he took it one step further in terms of having an easily found smuggling compartment and one that was near impossible to find. Though of course the other one wasn't too easy or the Imps would find it suspicious, just enough to warrant the cessation of the search. He looked at the cargo, five sealed containers and several old deactivated battle droids. Everything was still in its place, with that he sealed the door and moved over to his cot. He toyed with the idea of taking a sip of his own alcohol, though decided against it. If they ended up going in hot he'd rather be sober, though he could probably talk his way in.

Its the way out that's the problem.

"A fellow alcoholic, how enchanting! One with a much bleaker outlook though, but we can change that." Koren said, pointing a finger at the gungan as he approached the man, then paused, finding what he was looking for. He pulled out a bottle of generic beer, weak and cheap, but that was the point, he could drink many of them before falling on his face black out drunk. He popped it open, raising the drink upwards, as if he was saluting those around him, then took a long swig. Then with his other free hand he pulled out several more bottles, placing them on one of the tables.

The Zeltron paused, glancing around the room before he found an electronic device in the corner of the room, a stereo, perfect. He started pressing buttons on it before he found something he could groove to and liven up the ship. It was swing type music, some kind you would hear in a sleezy spaceport bar filled with drunks and pilots. He started dancing along to it, slightly moving his arms and hips, before turning to everyone else, his drink still in hand.

"You know what they call this type of music?" He asked before taking a sip, then speaking once more after swallowing the booze. "Jizz. Yeah, I'm completely serious, who thinks of a name like that for music." He then started dancing harder, opening his mouth to speak once more.

"Eight hours? I know I how to kill time like that, easy."

Koren said "Eight hours? I know I how to kill time like that, easy."

"I can kill a man with two fingers. That's easy. But killing time... That's an art..."
Leaning in towards the Zeltron's ear, Null whispered "Show me how." Then grabbing two of the bottles from the counter, she threw him a quick wink as she popped the top of her first bottle and took a sip. Mmm... sweet beer... She would have thought the Correlian would only have harsh stuff stashed away. Null liked a good rolling burn to her drinks, but that was for forgetting things. Sweet drinks were for making things to remember. At least for her. Many men she had been with had a tendency to just want the alcohol hard and the octane hot. Although how any creature could drink octane was beyond her...

After she had finished the bottles, she joined Koren in the middle of the crew lounge for a dance. She tried to mimic his motions, as most of the clubs she had danced in had a bit of a different rhythm than this jizz, and she felt a little awkward trying to freestyle anything to it. After a bit though she started to get the hang of it, and her steps became more in time, Her arms felt more comfortable in their sway, and her hips felt more on beat with their turns... the alcohol was starting to hit her with a pleasant pre-buzz, and she decided it was time for another drink. She grabbed another two bottles and brought one over to Koren. She was starting to have a good time, and she noticed in Koren a bit of a shy awkwardness that she found rather endearing. It may have been well covered by his cultural mask, but the way he did and said things, you could tell he wanted to feel more sure of himself then he was...

Working with the Imperials was a conflicting sentiment for Tzaar. On one hand, the Imperials had more credits in their coffers than any filthy hutt of wealthy merchant to ensure every paycheck they received was of suitable heft. On the other hand, they were a particularly controlling and entirely unwelcoming group of bureaucrats who would no doubt try to micromanage every movement their group did. He never liked that. Being confined to one employer or group. Indeed, the only reason he bound himself to Koren was because of a debt he had yet to repay. One he could no forsake, lest he lose his favor with the Scorekeeper. So he would simply need to tolerate this coalition and reap the rewards the Imperials were willing to toss their way.

Revealing himself from the quarters he had immediately claimed for his own by dropping his rifle and axe upon one of the beds the massive lizard joined what appeared to be the rest of the crew in the main commons room. The sound of sleazy music assaulting his ear holes, the irritable lizard grumbled towards Koren as the strange little pink man wiggled about on the 'dance floor', drink in hand and human female wiggling around him in the strange fashion so many humanoids seemed to dance together. "[Your choice of company is classy, as always.]" The green skinned brute remarked sarcastically towards Koren in his native tongue of Dosh. He decided to take seat within the general proximity of the Gungan, the chair creaking under his weight as he did so. He doubted interacting with any of the crew would do him much good for now, but perhaps one would have the courage to approach him. Until then, he'd simply enjoy the ride and avoid the beverages his 'comrades' were currently enjoying.

Therra was going to say something witty and clever but nothing came out. "Di'kut" She muttered as the pilot disappeared inside his cabin, looking to the astromech "He's quite a cheery guy isn't he?" She asked, a little bit of a grin on her face. Realizing she was talking to a droid she probably couldn't understand, she left, slinking off back to the room, she quickly dried her hair and hopped into her bunk, laying there quietly as she stared at the ceiling thinking about everything that has happened in her incredibly short life.

She must of zoned out for quiet some time, as the sounds of music began to reach her. She debated going out there and joining the group, the sounds of their small party reaching across the ship. But instead she waited deciding her nightly ritual was much more fitting, when she was sure she was alone she began to speak. "Ni su'cuyi, gar kyr'adyc, ni partayli, gar darasuum." Her voice was quiet, but got louder as she continued "Yusanis, Susk, Kiatara, and Jak." She repeated this over and over again like a prayer until sleep took her.

Koren continued dancing, watching as Null seemingly swooned around him. He just needed to not mess it up, so he continued dancing, closer to her and finishing off his first bottle as his trandoshan companion, Tzaar wandered in, the large reptile taking a seat and saying a few words to Koren, who he owed a life debt to.

"It's fun being the life of the party, you should try it sometime. Just kick back for once you big brute," Koren said back with a silly grin, then popped open the drink he was handed. "We'll be back cracking skulls soon. The galaxy loves the combo of the dastardly good looking Zeltron and his hulking reptilian partner in crime. Maybe there will be some Wookies for you to hunt." He added, then turned back to Null, a flirty smile on his face as he watched her move, he too doing the same.

It became easier for Null to speak and think in Mando'a once she started getting a little drunk. Unfortunately there were always few mandolorians around so she usually had to struggle through basic when she was intoxicated. People said her accent became thicker and some of the harder consonants of the language slipped away from her sometimes like that, but no one ever reacted or complained that she was indecipherable, so she didnt let it bother her much.

The Trando in the room bugged her. She had known he would be there, and she knew that there were plenty of trando mercs, but...
She never really got used to being around them. Often she would excuse herself if she felt she could, but understanding that she would have to share air with the brute anyways, she figured there was no pointing in being too stand-offish. None the less when Koren went to talk to his friend, she silently excused herself to raid the liquor cabinet for something harder... It was forgetting time... "Vaii taap jatne pirur haar'chak!? Ni copaani buy'ce tihaar," She muttered angrily as she searched, eventually pulling out some whiskey that was definitely NOT correllian, along with a couple of glasses.
"When we return to a port, we are buying some good pirur, after tonight, I wont drink anymore of this shab." she said as Koren approached her while she poured.
"So how'd you get the pet slaver?" She inwardly berated herself. The last thing she wanted to talk about was the damn lizard and here she was bringing it up.

"Yeah, we need a lot more booze. The pilot can't object if we're not spending his money!" Koren said, then almost laugh as he was asked about his partner, Tzaar. He had gotten the question many times since he earned the life debt of the Trandoshan, usually he gave a funny but vague answer, one that didn't reveal too much information as it was usually strangers who asked him, not people he'd be working with, like the one asking now, so he tried to give a decent answer.

"It's a long story, but he owes me a life debt, he was about to be put of it after getting into a 'disagreement' with another bounty hunter, so I blasted the back of the man who was about to gun down Tzaar's head open. The shot surprised everyone else enough that Tzaar managed to take out the other he was fighting, then pledged the debt to me. Ever since then we've been the best of pals," Koren said, a grin appearing on his face as he gave the seated reptile a glance before turning his attention back to Null. "Though, he'd never admit that himself. Ahahaha."

Mumbin corked his rotgut as the beers were being handed out, then the music and the good stuff. He reached into a pocket and pulled out the empty half of a grenade with a couple pin rings welded to it to make an epic teacup, he tapped his cup on the table to indicate he wanted some too as he watched the crew begin to dance. He knew he was too clumsy on land to compete with the others for attention besides as an oddity, so an oddity he would be.

"Dey say zeltron being best lovers, Dey wrong. Gungan gotta meter tongue and can hold our breath for half an owah."

The alcohol was making his gunganese more pronounced, one of the reasons he didn't talk and drink most of the time. He tried to be taken as professional as he could be but thanks to Head in a JarJar, most saw gungans as bumbling fools rather than a proud if extinct warrior race. He looked up with a nod to the trandoshian then over to the mention of wookiees, that sent him back to kashyyk and spiders and bad memories.

Hearing the little Mandalorian's words, Tzaar let out something between a growl and a hiss towards the human woman. She who was fumbling around in Koren's pheromones and half way to being bedded by the sleazy Zeltron would call him a pet? "I am not a slaver or a pet, Jetar madle." The trandoshan warrior grumbled towards her threateningly. He was never one to put up with disrespect, especially not from a woman and especially not from one he could probably snap over his knee like a twig. Thankfully, Koren seemed to go about explaining their relationship to the woman before Tzaar had a chance to say anything else. Instead he focused on the Gungan, who seemed to be boasting his skill as a lover for the females present. Tzaar let a deep chuckle boom from his chest..

"I do not think putting your tongue in her is a good plan. No idea where she's been." He quipped towards the aquatic alien to his side, as a means of getting back at the Mando for her 'pet remark' from earlier.

Null didn't particularly like being called a meat maggot by a lizard who she could probably slice in two, but considering she had probably insulted him, she let it go. She wasn't particularly shocked that it was a life debt relationship. Ghrakhowsk weren't particularly odd to her. She knew some people saw them as a weakness of the less civilized races, but she in particular thought they were very honorable. If someone saves your life, it should be right to feel like your life is indebted to them. At any rate the gungan was now competing with Koren in an almost comical way. Bringing up statistics about his amphibious species. She wasn't sure how to turn him down since it was a little out of the blue and she and Koren had been talking for awhile now... whats more... she wasn't much into gungans... However the Trandoshan gave what was probably meant to be an insult as a deterrent from her, and she didn't need to say anything. Besides the fact that he was right. If she had even a mild yeast infection that could have catastrophic effects on the gungans mouth and throat. Moisture was good for plant based infection...

7D-6R stood in a corner observing the interaction that the organics were having with one another before deciding not to even try interacting with them. Organics in his experience were some of the most confusing things that the galaxy had to offer. As much as he tried to understand their behavior towards each others he could never seem to fully understand their reasons for what they do. Sometimes it was motivated by greed, sometimes by anger, sometimes by attraction to other organics.

7D didn't hate organics, well, that wasn't exactly true. He despised the Empire and all that it stood for and he still had trouble believing that he had been created by Imperials. He hadn't had a problem with them at the moment he had been activated but the moment they had captured him and reprogrammed him...that was where his anger towards them came from. As soon as he managed to override the modified programming he would finally be able to leave his own mark on the galaxy and he would make sure the Empire paid for what it had done to him.

Organics. Such odd creatures. He thought to himself as he continued to observe.

"I've never made love to a gungan, so I wouldn't know.," Koren said, glancing at Mumblin. "But, but, you're very wrong about Zeltron's not being the best lovers in the galaxy, we take that one easily. If you ever went to my people's homeworld, you'd know I'm right." his usual grin ever present with the glance, before turning his attention back to Null, the glance much flirtier than the one he gave Mumbin.

"I've never seen a Trandoshan fight a Mandolorian woman either. Brute strength versus a warrior's pride," He said to Tzaar, then moved away, before stopping and raising a finger to communicate his words better. "Not sure who I'd bet on. But it'd be pretty damn fun to watch" Koren added, taking another drink from his bottle of beer. Out of the corner of the eye noticing the droid silent in the corner, wondering how useful it would be.The group banter continued for a length of time, as the group seemed to be waiting to begin the mission.
The Saber rocketed out of the hyperspace, doing a graceful theatrical spin as it emerged, the modified freighter heading for Allyuen, the ugly greenish brown mining world growing larger as they slowed moved towards it. Inside the misfit group of thrown together mercs, bounty hunters and in general, eccentric people stirred, a message straight from the Empire booming through the speakers of the ship, giving them some more information on what they would be facing.

"Our probe droids we scattered across the world located a CR90 corvette orbiting a short distance from the frozen surface, the ship is registered under the name of a long deceased trader, so it is likely the pirates are in control of the vessel. They murdered the owner and now use it for their own nefarious deeds, which is currently holding the captain hostage. They've sent several insane ransom offers to us, but refuse to listen to reason. But they do not know you are coming, and the planet's harsh atmosphere should keep you out of sight unless you are right next to the ship. Approach with caution, the corvette has four automated turrets on it." With that the announcement ends.

Inside the cockpit of the Saber, a captured image of the pirate ship appears on the screen. A short time after, the door pops open as Koren stumbles in, energetic as ever, it being a wonder if he got any sleep at all during the jump, not likely. He showed no signs of being drunk, or even buzzed though, so that was a positive. He had also changed his attire, he now wore his combat armor, his heavy blaster pistol clipped to his hip, along with several grenades along with a vibrodagger on his left shoulder. He spoke to Corran, who sat in his pilot's seat, the same spot he was when Koren had before bugged him to let him on the laser turret.

"I say we go right in, hit the thrusters, hard. That would leave the ship stuck down here with us, they would not be able to flee. Then we send some of our people inside, storming it. The pirates would not execute their prisoner as all they want is a ransom, you can't sell a dead body, well easily, just not to the Empire I guess," Koren stated, as he began to get sidetracked from his planning. "Though we might need to blast the turrets so our ship doesn't get holes punched in it." He added, folding his arms in thought.
