NameElsa Arendelle
NicknameElsie or Else
Age19
GradeSenior
PersonalityElsa is a rather antisocial young woman. Having spent most of her childhood bedridden, she never got to play outside with friends or socialize all that much with her peers. She doesn’t have the best people skills and prefers the company of her beloved sister, dog, or just being alone. She’s an artistic individual and, though she’s not too great at it, uses her art as a form of coping with her bottled emotions.
To appease her boredom, Elsa turned to video games, online forums, and the like. Most of her “friends” were made online and she began to grow heavy into gaming. Aside from these virtual worlds she’d immerse herself in, Elsa enjoys art of various forms: music, drawing, painting, writing.
She has a strained relationship with her parents as she felt they tried to keep her away from the world, ashamed of having such an ill daughter. This, in turn, also made her uncomfortable around some authority figures. She doesn’t like to admit to the fact that she’s a rather lonely girl inside and would rather bottle her feelings up than expose them. Difficult to accept the trust of others, Elsa is rather anxious in crowds. This anxiety is relieved some when in the presence of her sister. Though, she’s starting to become more confident with herself.
She has never really had friends and doesn’t know how to act around people and seemingly could care less for other’s opinions on her. Her overall personality can be dubbed as tomboyish and reserved. She understands that her issues with people can affect her life greatly in the future and wishes to change that. Despite her shy and distant attitude, Elsa has a fear of being alone and abandoned and is prepared to make some changes in order to become a stronger individual. She’ll try to be happy, for her sister’s sake as well as her own.
BioElsa’s childhood was rather normal to begin with. She was a bright and happy child, always up to silly antics and trying to play little pranks on her younger sister. Everything changed one winter when her sister found her collapsed on the snow. Her parents rushed her to the emergency room out of panic and were told that she had a suffered hypothermia from being out in cold wet snow. They were able to take her home and care for her there, assured that she would get better soon. Then the fever hit, the fever that seemed like it would last a lifetime. Eventually, they took her out of school, something which Elsa was glad about for a while, being a child. After weeks of bed rest and no sign of the fever subsiding much, her parents looked to more doctors in hopes of understanding why their daughter was not getting any better. They found she had Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia, though it was unclear if that was a cause of the fever. They chalked that up as having a fairly weak immune system. At one point, the fever had grown worse, nearly killing her.
Thankfully, after a few months of suffering through the sickness, Elsa regained some health. The disease, however, left her weak and cold. She was still rather sickly, partly due to all the lying around, but was about to be up and about. Still, her parents worried about her and kept her away from the outdoors most of the time. They discovered she would often get small colds and viruses, and though they would pass and go, this prompted them from removing her from the public school system altogether. She’d be homeschooled, for the most part; her only real physical interactions were from her sister, whom she adored.
In wasn’t until halfway into high school that she managed to convince her parents to enroll her in public school. She was dissatisfied with how her life was going and wanted something more to do than sit around, safe from the outside world. She couldn’t understand why her parents wanted to keep her home all that time. In the end, the both agreed she needed to go out and discover what life has to offer for her, but still feared that doing so would bring back the same sickness that fell upon her years before. Elsa was able to enroll in the same school as her sister but only as a freshman, as her academic scores weren’t too great to begin with. It took her a year to get use to being around so many people again but she managed to get a hold of herself, if only to prove that she can make it without her parents protection.
