This will be a free to advanced RP. Quality is more important than quantity for me. For example, if I gave a 3,000-word essay about how I was demolishing a Gundam with my ultimate character's bare fists, and the player with the Gundam simply said,

Robot 342A received brutal blows from the mighty warrior, damaging severely its body, making it collapse and die...

I would accept that wholeheartedly, even if it's just a one liner, if only for the fact that it is accurate, well-articulated, and virtually no spelling errors. I won't accept, "He died," "It died," or "Viktoricus fucked him over."

In other words, I want effort where effort is due, and I do not want people to waste their time writing too much gobbledygook on their posts when they have such a simple point to make.

*Being a puny little pipsqueak yet you wield a weapon, magical or not, high-tech or not, that allows you to kill the creature shown above.

*Being a puny little pipsqueak yet you can cast a fireball, a lightning bolt, a small tornado, anything and everything that is magical and can kill the creature shown above.

*Being extremely quick (Not necessarily speed as in velocity, but more like agility and the ability to dodge a speeding arrow, catch a speeding arrow with hands, whatever. In other words, fast movement and sharp reflexes.).

*Being so durable that you can get hit by a Napoleonic cannon and not die (But still get damaged of course.).

*Mind control ability.

*The ability to control gravity.

*Being an expert poisoner.

*Invisibility.

*Being an expert brewer of potions.

*Being an expert weaponcrafter/armorcrafter/whatevercrafter (even cooking counts.).

*Leadership ability (If you don't specify in your CS that your character is a charismatic, smart, wise leader, then he will not be able to command anything more than a 3-people slave army.).

I think that's all the list, unless you want to add something. If you do, please say so.

Something I'm adding:

*Having the ability to cast curses among enemies (They die if they don't eat an apple within 3 hours, they turn into stone if they don't cut-off one of their limbs, they become as small as a house rat for an entire month, etc.)

*Having a pet or minion that can kill the above creature in a fair fight. The pet can be flesh or cyborg or spiritual or made of feces. Whatever. It cannot be sentient. It must be a mindless slave of sorts.

Alright, decided to start setting up my CS. I will leave it here, even while it is unfinished, since I'm not 100% sure on everything. Also, I will be using my main OC, since it seems like OCs would be allowed, though I don't think it was said.

Race/Species(Isn't this important?): Light Draconian (half human/half dragon with light (Varionus also has fire magic, because long and drawn out birth reasons))

Age in earth years: about 35

Where are you from?: Alderis. A continent on the world. Basically, the world is an alternate earth. Just with a less creative name. After a great war I never really named, Aura Veldii, Varionus Yyn, and Cyrus Mourg took the kingdom of Leiras away from the corrupt king, and actually protected the people. The name later became the Bloodless Republic. And yes, while it seems like it would be some sort of monarchy, the three lords of bloodless only really protected the land and prevented the government from doing corrupt shit.

Why are you here?: Needed background information: (I am going by a cool idea that each dimension has it's own creator, but there is probably some massive super-creator) 10 years after the Bloodless Republic was formed, a mysterious tower that ascended beyond all possible vision appeared on the land that Varionus protected. Of course, Varionus decided to try and ascend the tower. When he opened the door he meant a being that called itself The Infinite. The Infinite is 1/4 of the creator of the world. The creator split 2 parts off of itself, originally (The first light and the first darkness). The creator itself was being corrupted by chaotic energy, so the new beings split the infinite away from the chaos. The Infinite is a being of unity, being unbiased and wise, choosing to protect the balance between good and evil, rather than pick one side. What was left of the creator? The Ancient. a being of pure chaos. (I shortened a uselessly long section here) It took Varionus 5 years to earn the right to reach the tower's top. Once in the room, he opened a chest and out came a demon-like creature. This creature was the Ancient. Varionus needed to prevent this thing from escaping. He ended up fighting it for 5 years before it stepped back, and forfeited. Yes, a creature of chaos forfeited to a magic Draconian. After a conversation of sorts, the Infinite sealed some of the Ancient's power into a large stone gauntlet. Well, now Varionus wears the large stone glove gauntlet thing. Well, 50 years after that ( a total of 70 years after the Bloodless Republic was created) Varionus asked the Infinite a question "My brothers are gone now. This world is failing. It needs them. I know there is only one way you will help me. What must I do?" basically, Varionus had to prove his worth with the Ancient gauntlet. He was allowed to take nothing but it and the clothes on his back, and was sent to the island of murder. This is as much as I want to reveal without going too deep into his motivations.
What are your abilities?: basic fire and light magic, and demonic soul magic. I will elaborate on this when I get the time. I also need to put Flight and massive patience here.

Possessions: The Ancient Gauntlet- A weapon granted to him during his journey in the Infinite tower. It is able to absorb the souls of the dead and turn them into soul magic things. Soul magic is essentially what demons in the world use. so, demon magic. Will elaborate later.

Alright, here's my unfinished CS. Just felt like if I set up my CS now, I could get some criticism and fix the problems. Oh yea, I know that my character held his own against 1/4 of a god, but lets face it, he had multiple powerful magic charms and weapons. He is only using 1 weapon with no armor and no special enchantments. He is much less powerful than 1/4 of a god. Also, he didn't really hold his own. He barely survived.

I would join this, but it seems far too 'not serious' for my interests.

Some things about slavery...

There are three types of slaves: The Common, The Skilled, and The Prodigal.

A Common slave costs 100 gold coins in the slave market. Upon purchase, they are educated in basic arithmetic, literature, are fairly athletic, and have no special skills but basic wilderness survival skills (more on that later). Over time, however, they can become skilled, and then you can sell them for a higher price than 100 gold coins.





A Skilled slave costs 500 gold coins in the slave market. They, like The Common, are educated and athletic, but they are skilled in one thing, whether it be fighting, blacksmithing, food preparation, carpentry, basic potionology, etc.





A Prodigal slave costs 10,000 gold coins, and are the champions in what they do. There are only seven Prodigal slaves in the Island of Murder (I will make a character sheet for each and every one of them.).

A list of available jobs that your character can do in order to get some income:

*Tree chopper
*Prostitute (Can't RP any detail)
*Salaried Craftsman ("Craftsman" basically means anything and everything within the Island that involves manually creating something, whether they be swords, guns, and cellphones,)
*Freelance Craftsman
*Prize fighter (Getting pitted against NPC arena monsters)
*Engineer (Well paid in any of the modern cities. HIGHLY PAID in the one high-tech city, but only if you can engineer robots and stuff.)
*Teacher
*Fitness Trainer
*City Official (Must have specific skills in order to qualify. An example is Leadership Ability.)
*Sentry
*Salaried Mercenary
*Freelance Mercenary
*Businessman (Remember though, you gotta have money to make money. You need money to start a business of your own. Also, ANY business, even the ones that are technically illegal in the Island are allowed. Pimping, drug-dealing, black-market weapons selling, human-trafficking, all allowed.)
*Farmer (Lowest-paying job, but everyone, even puny pipsqueaks can do it. But even if it's low pay, you get free healthy food and free housing! Kinda like in real life USA. lol.)
*Bartender (Not only do you need to be good at mixing drinks, you also need to have a certain level of "social appeal". In other words, you should be... good-looking, charismatic, charming, witty, or something similar.)
*Miner (Whether someone using a pickaxe or someone operating a robot, all miners get paid the same exact salary of 1,000 gold coins a month as required by Island Law. If your employer pays you less, you can sue him or her.)
*Celebrity (Ask me more about this through PM if you're curious about it. lol.)
*Artist (Unlike a craftsman/craftswoman, artists create beautiful things that actually don't have a practical purpose other than being pretty, whether that be sculpture, painting, or written songs.)
*Medicine person (nurse, doctor, faith healer, etc...)
*Executioner
*Prison Guard
*Slave Trader (I would make this fall into the Businessman category but, being a Slave Trader requires more than just business acumen. I'll discuss more on this later...)

I want the Island to be as crime-free as possible. I want the cities to be very stable.

However, I'll add Hunter. There will be people in the Island who'll want to hire hunters to "Assassinate" certain monsters in the wilderness. How'd you like that?

Rules in Role-Playing:

*Most Important Rule: Viktoricus is the boss and what he says goes.
*No godmodding.
*No metagaming.
*No auto-hitting. Exceptions to the rule: You're attacking another player and it just makes absolutely no sense for that particular player to be able to avoid or block the attack. You're having an intimate scene with a character and you don't wanna type, "He attempted to caress her face". You're fighting an NPC that I control and we already agreed before the fight started that you will win.
*Anything over PG-13, take it somewhere else. Just because you have an attractive slave doesn't mean you can go smutty in our thread. Having sex with someone here boosts morale, which in turn boosts fighting prowess by 20% temporarily, which means sex is allowed, but you must skip the details.
*Be patient with other players.
*OOC posts in the IC thread are allowed, but it must be minimal.
*If you are unsatisfied with how I or other "referees" conduct a match between you and another character, take your concerns to me. If you are unsatisfied with my decision, we will go "democratic mode", asking what all the players think about the thing.
*Treat the OOC thread as a sort of spam forum. As long as there is no racism, sexism, plotting to do illegal things in real life, overt sexual flirting, posting porn, or flamewars, no one will get banned.
*Quality is above quantity when it comes to post length.
*Be delicate with your slaves. And by "delicate", I mean don't make them act overpowered. No, it doesn't mean you can't abuse them or make their lives miserable. They are your slaves, they are your property, and this is a fictional Role-Play setting, which means that if you burn your slave alive, no real person will actually get hurt!
*Maximum of two errors allowed per IC post, whether it be grammar error or spelling error.
*If your character is a biological creature, it needs food and water to remain alive.
*Read and memorize the Game Mechanics (Read below).
*Do not try to outwit everyone by being a magician who imbues a sword magical powers that makes you invincible when you wield it. Do not be a robot-engineer who can create an Optimus Prime with the ability to create an Optimus Prime ten times its size and power, which can also build another Optimus Prime ten times its size and power. Do not... you get the point.
*All characters must be bipedal humanoids. Doesn't matter if he or she is made of flesh, a robot, or a spiritual entity, he or she must resemble a bipedal ape.
*No mind-reading abilities. Mind-control, yes. Mind-reading, no.
*Have fun.

If I may, might I suggest making an OOC for the RP? Also, in the case of Psionic characters from the Starcraft universe, that no mind reading rule is moot. It's literally impossible for something to not leak out.

The bottom line is that there will be no mind-reading here, period. It gives characters too much social power.

Psionics in the Starcraft universe, and any for that matter, can't just turn off their psionics. And part of being psionic is being able to read minds. They don't want to do it constantly, but if you're near one and they're trying not to read your mind, something is still going to be heard, even if it's only a fragment.
