I have a fleet of about...

well, max, there's been two ships assembled and actually moved at one time. Besides the Seven during the Great War.

And uh...
I have about a dozen to two dozen ships.

Active Duty Vessels: ~950

Strategic Reserve (Mothballed/Grounded): ~120

Ships...?
I never actually thought of a precise number of ships.
But, don't think wrong of me... I'll do the math right now!

Aeonas should have around two hundred space-ships armed for war directly under the control of the navy.

Most of the hau ships in this galaxy are actually pioneer vessels, not proper military. This entire group are pioneers. They have about 400 combat ships but they are Hodgepodge vessels with various configurations.

Info on pioneers is on the ns if you want it. So at the moment, I'd consider wilsons stuff a potential threat , as that technology seems on the same scale.

Mine would be a threat against a few ships or a very small fleet. Alas, only the really good roleplayers treat the warfare as if it wasn't insta-everything, so if a Valkian ship comes across anything other than an Etheral or a hivemind ship, they're screwed. They're sighted, and immediately, there'll be a thousand ships bearing down on them in just a moment or two. Hardly fair, is it? But it's really just butting heads to see who's got more overall strength unless they're in the mood to write a full battle out, like me and mr. Etheral.

My new ships will have an immensely greater striking capability.

Septonian ships would be fucked, unless they reached a force equal to them, they dont have instant reinforcements!

So only the Etherals and hiveminds are good roleplayers?

And why do you keep bringing this up. Let's end the subject already. It's seriously getting annoying that we can't move past this stupid shit.

I know I haven't posted in a while (Midterm exams this week so don't expect it here either, sorry ;-;) but I will give total fleet count:

There are 25 active fleets (They change intermittently, hence the reason some go as high as 35) in the Peoples' Navy of Sazkarjhia, each one is usually composed like so:

1 Marku-Class Battlecruiser
12 Trikolo-Class Destroyer
24 Darbor-Class Heavy Frigates
12 Manumar-Class Light Frigates
16 Rakora-Class Corvettes (Deployable variants onboard certain ships to provide planetside assault/SAR operations)
15 Specialized Ships, including:
Pulsar-Class Electronic Warfare Destroyer
Samani-Class Prowler
Surdatan-Class Supercarrier (There are only 5 as they are mostly prototypical, and are extremely large and resource-hungry)
Outreach-Class Diplomatic Vessel
Sovereign-Class Hospital Vessel
PNSS Voyage to Divine Ascendance (Flagship of the Supreme Fleetmaster of the Peoples' Navy. Part of the Capital Fleet and the most powerful--and expensive--ship constructed)

With a shipcount of 80 ships to a fleet, that brings total size to about 2,000 ships, which is fitting as Sazkarjhia is a military-focused bunch of religious zealots with waaaay more metal than it needs.

What I meant was that I really want to write this kind of stuff out. Seeing people just... say they have a large number and the other side say they have a large number, it repels me. I hate it. I'm sorry, i'm an ass, but I just- ach, it bothers me! No excuse, but it bothers me so much.

When I said good, I meant they are... much fairer. If I were to attack one of them, I have a very good chance of actually beating them before they can call in reinforcements. It seems that everyone else, pardon the Septonians and new players, has instant communications, and thus, instant reinforcements. For a people that have slow, heavy ships that can only attack a few targets at once, not being overwhelmed by fleets that are ten to twenty times larger is a great thing. Duck loses a scout ship- a minute later, a fleet appears at the edge of the system, moves extremely fast to orbit, and immediately launches shuttles to attack soldiers trying to remain stealthed on the ground. No idea how. Magic.

And, if you read, I say "really good." What I mean is that, while we are all good roleplayers, we all have a good bit of room to expand upon. I see Kyelin as a really good roleplayer, as with Darkwolf. They're both unique and a bit set apart from everyone else each time they play, and I think they do a really good job. By all means, take no offense, my word is my opinion, my thoughts, not fact and law.

My apologies for any offense taken or any rude comment.

Wilson, you remember what I told you a while back, akin to do not push your luck since everyone seems to be trying to get over what happened before?

Approach with a tempered hand, apologize for what was clearly a mistake on your end and just tackle problems when they arise. Don't get worked up as there is no reason to now.

Fleet numbers is ok, helps put peoples dicks in perspective rather than just having to re-measure once an issue arises. This is a good thing, making progress to keep powers in check. So... Be happy?

If we are giving fleet numbers then I guess I will contribute. I have four fleets of ships at any given time of war, numbered fleets 1-4. Each fleet has 25 ships in total:

5 Aries class ships
2 Carriers
10 Septum class ships
3 Lahai Class ships
5 Blackhole class ships
The composition doesn’t differ much from this framework. I have a total of 100 ships in the Septonian Navy, that includes all older models and mothballed ships which are still being used.

Well damn. You've got a hundred ships total, when Duck has a hundred to a fleet. I would like to see that battle.

Here's the droneship by the way:

Well, Wilson, you chose a smaller nation. Consider duck made a England and you made a Samoa. (ISO made Russia btw. Just saying.) so there wasn't much competition. Kind of like USA vs afghanistan... You shouldn't have expected to win a war with a far bigger power.

The whole point of running a nation is doing your best to not let it be destroyed. Gotta know your place though, you picked it.

It's less about Duck being big and more about Duck spamming warships at an absurd rate.

We are all aware of the prior issues. I'm referring to ship numbers at this point now that we have a general idea of what people are running.

If I wasn't clear that this was the topic then my bad.

Didn't you leave, asta? So why come in and stir up trouble... Shame on you.

Defending the one trying to restart the argument that got you kicked, recently...

Fascinating.

Anyway, I'm preparing a post. I couldn't figure out where to jump in at first so that was my delay.
