Allegiance: Luria
Weapon: A longsword and a shield, shield emblazoned with Luria's sigil.
Pokemon: Sawsbuck [Shiny if applicable - Winter form]
Hyperion
Male
Moves - Double Kick, Protect, Swords Dance, Cut
Appearance: Black hair straight to his neck tucked behind his ears, green eyes. He's just muscly enough to pass for a warrior, but has a dancer like quality to his body. Wears a tunic with the Luria's sigil against a black background and dark grey breeches with leather-ish boots. Hyperion has a saddle with two bags that carry his chainmail and some greaves, gauntlets, a helmet, a small breastplate. The armor is not elaborate by any means, just plain steel, dented and a little scuffed.
Personality: A cynic, determined and grim, he's often seen as a dark and somewhat unfriendly character. In truth, he is always afraid of not being good enough, which is partly the reason he became a warrior in the first place - the constant training and, according to the stories, letting him prove himself. He tries his best to be polite but as with everyone has moments where they don't quite cut it. He's quick to anger and quicker to fall to an apologetic state, has problems with self image and especially with how he sees others. Loyal to a fault though, he will do his best never to give up on something once it's in his sights. I mean, if he has constant prodding, of course.
Biography: Like so many others, his parents were farmers. It was a small village and they grew what they needed and traded if they were lucky enough to have extra. This was how he lived his life, and he never once questioned it, although soldiers and wanderers visited the village every now and then. His father was determined that his son grow up without getting himself into trouble, and did his best to ignore Calvin's questions. Neither of his parents had Pokemon; they viewed them as accessories, more mouths to feed. His mother often remarked that she would have thought about it if it was not for Calvin, but they had had him, so she never made the effort. That was one thing that made Pokemon seem so attractive to Calvin. That and the fact that living in a small village, the few children there were were always caught up in family feuds and there was no one else to play with. He met Hyperion on a walk one day, an injured Deerling, and did his best to nurse the Deerling back to health. He hadn't truly anticipated on the Deerling becoming his Pokemon, yet when he was strong enough to stand, he followed Calvin home. His parents were against keeping this Pokemon but the Deerling sensed Calvin's determination to keep him, and they formed a bond. In the end, Calvin and his parents parted when he was sixteen on vaguely amicable terms. Calvin and Hyperion, as he was now known as, traveled a short while to Luria, where Calvin decided he would settle down. He felt as though there was an emphasis on warriors, although he imagines many things, and so, who knows? In any case, he found a way to pledge himself to a hedge knight who had lost his squire in a training accident and who didn't think he would find another decent, non commoner born. Training ensued and now, he is an adept warrior, and Hyperion is a proud Sawsbuck, and he dreams of distinguishing himself one day, because he feels as though he is forever beneath notice and wants to catch someone's attention.
Other: He likes to tell stories, not much quotes though.
